It was noon. Single unicorn stallion was making his way to Ponyville, pulling small caravan. Through for outside observer he may look like some show stallion, very similar to infamous 'Trixie', he wasn't searching attention. He was there because he had serious matters to attend at this small, unimportant village.
"Come on Hexie, There are so many of them!" Shout from inside of the caravan quickly broke silence.
"Easy girl, we will be there before dusk." Respond stallion.
"But I don't have time!"
"Said the immortal one here." Deadpanned unicorn.
There was quiet noise within wagon and small yellow canary flew out of it into direction of town.
Unicorn sighed in sad manner "I better find her before something wicked happens."
If you don't want HER causing havoc, why I am even locked here...
Even if town was small, Ponyville had something that make it very important, The Crystal Castle of Princess Twilight Sparkle, The Princess of Friendship.
Princess and her friends were making their way through hallways of palace in the direction of throne room. Of course, they were unaware of their not very pleasant guest.
"Pinkie, I already told you, we can't throw a 'Welcome Party' to everypony who came here as tourist!" Said purple alicorn.
"But Twilight!!!" Argued pink pony.
"No Pinkie. I know that you only want them to be happy but that is just both problematic and incorrect. Those ponies are here because my castle just spring out of nowhere and your parties will probably take longer that their whole tour here." Princess sighed. "I'm sorry Pinkie, but I just don't want them to hang over my head longer than is that necessary." Ponyville Party Planner tried to say something, but purple hoof raised to eye level stopped her. "I am still NOT used to being a princess and maintaining tourist attention isn't something helpful in this case." Another sigh from Princess. "I'm sorry Pinks, but I just can't do it."
This finally made pink mare to halt, whoever made her also noticeable sadder. "Okie dokie Twi..."
Group made their way to the door of throne room. The with Cutie Map in the middle, even if now the map was hidden, its table apparently was still present.
It was supposed to be pretty quiet day, so six friends thought they could meet together. However, just as the mares sat, something interrupted them
"Greetings Mortals~"
"Did you heard that?" Asked cyan pegasus, and the rest nodded.
Giggle "So clueless~" voice continued.
"Hello, is anypony there?" Twilight asked.
"No-oo~"
"Yer aware that sain' yer not there won't work, right?" Said AJ
Giggle "Yet, she asked any-pony, lil' meat chunk." another giggle. After that mares started looking around to find WHAT paid them unexpected visit.
"Do you thing its another of Discord's jokes?" Asked Twilight. But Fluttershy shaked her head
"He went for a visit to Canterlot for next whole week" Said yellow mare.
"Ok, that's enough! Show yourself whatever you are!" Shouted Rainbow.
"Oh, but I'm showing myself. You just don't look *high** enought~*" At that six mares paused for a moment and looked up, at some kind of feathered bat, or maybe it was bird with bat-like wings, hanging upside down from chandelier.
"Hi girls~"
"Wh-who are you?" asked Twilight, a bit unsure, thanks to its black skin and a little to much happiness in its voice.
"That is unimportant. What is important however is that, we're going to play a little~"
"W-what do you mean-" Princess wanted to ask but their guest dropped from the ceiling straight into table, yet despise few cracks which appeared on furniture's surface, lil' bird seemed unaffected.
