"Stop, It’s not gonna work!"

"It will, I know it will. I just have to try a bit harder!"

"No it won't, powering through is not gonna work!"

"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing!"

“Let me handle this!”

"No, this is not a choice! Rushing in will only make things worse!"

A couple of people, more specifically Ian and Kelly, stood outside of dashing stallion's apartment door, faces flushed red and ears pressed to the door. They had their reasons for coming over to the dapper man’s apartment, but they forgot what it was as they listened in. They weren't here for very long, but sadly, they had to leave as building’s security came over, and told them to scram if they don’t have any business within the building.

The two of them just gotta tell the other's what they heard!

Meanwhile, in the living room of the apartment Tyro leaned back in his chair and sighed in frustration, looking at the impossible game that was displayed on his television. "Why are we doing this again?" He asked as he handed the controller over to Barbara after dying in the game again, and was greatly disappointed he ran out of chips in his bowl. He suspects it was her who ate them while he was busy with the game.

"Because you fuck," She replied while fiddling with the controller settings. "I can beat Halo 2 at legendary difficulty, I fucking crushed the Zerg with militarised prisoners, and have the capabilities to conquer entire bloody civilizations. I will not let something that looks to be a walking vagina with teeth continue living after what it put us through! It defeated me more than enough, but I think I’m getting the hang of this boss!" She says as she walked through the fog door, and triggered the boss.

"Keep saying that to yourself. I’m sure it will help beat a boss that we’ve been stuck on for three hours." Tyro watched as Barbara continued to evade the monster. He then turned his attention to the thin plastic green container, which the title on the box art reads Dark Souls. "Why did you buy something like this anyway?" Why can’t we just play a nice simple game? Like Rome Total War?

"I just thought it would nice to have a challenge for once." She responded without looking away from the tv screen. She dodged the grab, and attacked with her flaming sword, then rolled away before the dragon made a swipe at her.

He sighed, and got off his chair. He stretched out his back, and groaned from the pops in his spine. He then silently stood on the cold floor, watching her running away from the monster before speaking. "I'm going to eat, then I’m off to bed.” They’ve been awake all night trying to beat Dark Souls, but so far they only made it to The Depths, which from what they read online is not very far into the game. At this rate they'll be awake all week trying to beat the game, by then they both would be dead from lack of sleep. He’s very tired, and hungry.“You have fun with that." He wasn’t too concerned about her as she’ll most likely just tire herself out from playing video games than cause trouble. He began to walk away before being forcibly yanked back by his arm and falling into the floor next to Barbara.

"You can't! We shall not sleep until we kick this fucker’s ass!" Tyro just gave up, too tired to protest, and began to work on figuring out the monster’s attack patterns. They both know that its weakness was lighting, but with them low on supplies they can’t really recover lost health while facing off the dragon. They have the estus flask, but don't have much time to use it as the boss keeps attacking. They would’ve summoned Solaire and Lautrec, but they ran out of humanity a long time ago and Barb is too pissed off to walk away from the boss defeated. The faster he helps her defeat the monster the faster he can go to bed.

"Look at us spending quality time together." Barb said while grinning like a maniac. “Isn’t it nice?”

“Can I atleast make us some breakfast?”
