Charcoal Ashes is a stallion who appreciates his solitude and some peace and quiet, so when he moves to Ponyville trying to find it and fails... He makes the mistake of moving into the Everfree forest, all on his own.
Charcoal is about to learn that a certain denizen of the forest really like to play with his kind, and he's going to learn it first hand... Hoof.
