The land of Equestria. One of the greatest in the world of Equis, and one of the most advanced, it is ruled over by a kind and loving immortal leader, Princess Celestia.

But Celestia isn't perfect. She really doesn't want other ponies to see her as perfect, either. One day, after lamenting her sister's fate, and contemplating her return, a shooting star appears. And Celestia makes a wish.

Little did Celestia know that the wish she made upon that shooting star would be granted.
