Why aren't I dead? Dwiin pushed off a charred piece of wood off of his legs. Where am I? This isn't Canterlot. Dwiin got up and walked out of the wreckage. I'm in another cave, great. Well I'd better start smelling my way out of here. He gave the air a couple of whiffs, and easily enough found the way out.
"How long have I been gone?" Dwiin asked himself aloud.
At the mouth of a cave at the top of what was obviously the Appaloosian Mountains. Dwiin saw the forest of Leota but not the one he knew. All the trees were black with blood red leaves, the Guard tower stood tall above everything. Black smoke was coming from several points on and around it.
The mountain top wasn't very wide. Dwiin went around the other side and he could see everything in the forest of Leota, or what was left of it. Everything was destroyed except the Forest of Leota Guard Tower, witch towered over the clouds now.
I need answers. My fiends will be able to tell me more. Dwiin came to a large cliff. He spread his wings and started to fly toward the tower. Dwiin was flying low and slowly to have a look at the condition of the forest, witch was terrible, it looked like it had been stripped of its resources. Dwiin was about to go higher above the cloud line when he was hit with a Bolo. His landing couldn't have been louder or more painful. Ponies in rags with makeshift armor started to surround him.
"Let me go!" Dwiin roared.
The unicorn ponies used their magic to levitate their spears at him and started to bind his legs and wings with chains, but a pony then mistakenly tried to muzzle Dwiin's maw shut with leather bonds. Dwiin stretched his mouth open, causing the leather to snap and he looked down at the stallion which was now in fear for his life. Dwiin quickly reached his head toward to enemy in front of him, grabbed him with his sharp teeth by the head, causing the stallion to scream bloody murder. Dwiin then yanked back tearing off the Pony's head, opening his mouth more and started to chew on him, the sound of his skull crushing, metal of his helmet bending, his flesh and brain being ground into a bloody meaty mess. His head was soon spat out onto the floor next to the headless carcass in a fleshy metallic and meaty pile of mistakes. The Unicorns then quickly enchanted a length of chains and bound his maw shut again.
"Which camp should we bring him to?" One of the unicorns asked another.
"The one in the swamps of New Horseleans."
》》》》》》One six hour hike later 》》》》》》》
They were finally in the New Horseleans Camp, they dragged Dwiin to the cages. Once he was in a cage the Unicorns Enchanted it to make it unbreakable. They then brought a Metal muzzle to replace the chain. They quickly changed it before Dwiin had the chance to breath fire. Once that was done they removed his bonds.
"Our leader will deal with you when he feels like it." A large earth pony said.
Dwiin just growled and narrowed his eyes in response.
Hours went by and on the other side of the camp it sounded like they were having a party. Eventually some earth ponies came by accompanied by a unicorn who changed the enchantment of the cage to where Dwiin couldn't breath fire while in the cage. They removed his muzzle and slipped food between the bars. It was meat, which wasn't something Dwiin usually had the chance to eat, but he was hungry so he ate what little they gave him. There were a few different creatures in the other cages a Timberwolf, a Chupacabra, a Manticore,a Minotaur, and another Dragon like Steel. Although she looked like she had been here a while. Days went by and they're leader still didn't come by. Since that first night they hadn't fed him and they still haven't given him water and in the heat of the sun he seriously needed it. After some time some "Raiders" as Dwiin had decided to call them, came to the Cages and started antagonizing the others. All of which were malnourished, but Dwiin was only dehydrated. The raiders were drunk. Dwiin wanted to go get some water from the water pool across from his cage.
"Hey. This one doesn't look so strong anymore." A raider said pointing a hoof to Dwiin's cage.
That's what you think. Dwiin thought, keeping himself looking weak witch wasn't very difficult since he wasn't too far off from being helpless.
"Lets open it up and poke him with a spear." Another Raider suggested.
One unicorn raider levitated a spear over to him, another unicorn proceeded to unlock the cage. Dwiin heard the tumblers *CLICK*. Without a warning movement because of the speed he produced to bust out of the metal barred cage, he barged out, making the door swing out with incredible force, hitting all the raiders and knocking them to the floor. Dwiin then saw the water and darted for it as quickly as his legs would carry him. He soon jumped in and sucked as much water as he could through his muzzle to quench his thirst.
Dwiin slowly emerged from the small body of water and enjoyed how refreshed he was. He then looked at the raiders, who were still dazed, but getting up. Dwiin had built up rage and he felt like now was a good time to unleash it. He dashed at full speed toward them, just as he did, a guard was getting up and grabbed a spear. Dwiin reached him in no time, grabbing his head with one of his claws then slammed it against a bar of the metal cage, a loud crack of his skull could be heard then Dwiin grabbed his spear. He then turned around and forced it towards another raider, it went through his assailant's throat and out the back. He fell to the floor, gargling on his own blood and trying to gasp for air as well as he rolled around in pain. The rest of the raiders scrambled for their weapons but Dwiin grabbed one of them in time, broke the spear in half that he previously used and forced it to pierce into the second stallion's head and into his brain, making him drop to the floor lifeless. A sword clanked against Dwiin's armored skin, he simply turned his head slowly towards the clueless stallion. Dwiin tackled him to the floor and repeatedly slammed his enemy's head against the floor, which formed a pool of blood, while also turning the back of his head into tenderized meat.
Dwiin had continued to slaughter the entire camp of raiders in some of the most brutal hand-to-hand ways possible. He was standing over one and had his whole claw inside the fresh corpse's torso, he slowly slid it from the fallen stallion and walked back over to the water he quenched himself in, then started to wash the blood off of himself. Afterwards, he got out and found a ring of keys, he picked them up and tried every one on the lock that was attached to his muzzle. Suddenly the lock clicked and the metal muzzle thumped on the ground, Dwiin opened and closed his mouth to regain feeling in it. He then looked around the camp and saw the corpses of what looked like thirty or more bodies, but he saw one still moving. He walked over to it as he struggled to crawl towards a weapon, Dwiin flipped him over so the stallion was on his back and facing him.
Dwiin roared in the Raider's face as loudly as he could, the raider was trembling underneath Dwiin's claws, "What happened to Equestria?" Dwiin growled.
"The Dragon Nahgahdinok took over two hundred years ago. Since then he has lived in what is left of Canterlot and he has been using the major cities as Slave camps witch the Changelings watch over, as for the Leota watchtower Nahgahdinok and the Changeling Queen set it to burn forever. The crystal empire is Where the changeling Queen lives." The raider said quickly.
"Who is fighting them?" Dwiin asked.
"Nopony. Nopony can, and there is nopony who wants to."
Dwiin slowly let go of the stallion's neck then backed up and made it look like he was walking away. The raider took the chance to try and crawl away, but Dwiin turned around and pounced at the enemy, biting his left hind leg. With one strong yank back, the leg was ripped from it's socket, blood spurting and puddling into the dirt from both his leg and haunch. Dwiin dropped the limb and placed his claw on the stallion's back and with the other claw he gripped the mane of the screaming stallion. He slowly pulled it back, so the stallion was hard at breath then let go so he gasped for air. Dwiin grabbed the back of his head, pulled it back far enough to where he couldn't breathe again. He soon forced the raider's head forward with all of his might, slamming it against the hard floor, shattering his skull's front part and scattering parts of his brain and skull onto the dirt floor, then let the body go and let the blood from the head, pool up and soak into the dirt.
Dwiin then turned around picked up the keys to the cages and started let the beasts go, one by one they went to the raider corpses and started devouring the bodies. Dwiin then went to the last cage with the dragon in it. She was unconscious. With the other beasts gone he took some of the Raider's canteens, cleaned and filled them with water. He put the unconscious dragon on his back and took her away from the raider camp.

Once they were a distance from the camp Dwiin set her down against some tree roots. Dwiin sprinkled some water on her face to wake her up, once she was awake he gave her one of the canteens. She drank the water greedily. Dwiin waited for her to have her full.
"What happened?" She finally asked as she took a breath between canteens.
"Drunk Raider opened my cage." Dwiin told her.
"That'll do it." She said raising another canteen to her mouth.
"One of the Raiders said that a dragon named Nahgahdinok took over Equestria two hundred years ago, is that true?" Dwiin asked her.
"With the help of a Changeling Queen. Everypony knows that. Why don't you?" She asked.
"I woke up in a cave a several days ago. Before that I was in a Pocket Dimension that was collapsing. I should be dead right now, and at that point in time Equestria was still at peace. No Raiders." Steel flicked a rock away from him.
"Are you saying that you time traveled? Because that is supposed to be almost impossible." She said almost laughing at him.
"Whats your name?" Dwiin asked.
"Nali. Whats yours?" Nali asked as she started to take another drink.
"Dwiin."
Nali spit out her water in shock, and coughed a little, "What?!"
"My name is Dwiin." He repeated.
"Your right you should be dead, I went to your funeral."
