Chapter 1
Welcome to ponyville
The bushes in the forest started to shake and then a head popped out of it for a pony was in the bush. It was a young unicorn stallion with a coat that was the color of sand, his mane was red with a streak of blue in the the middle. But for some reason the stallion had a red bandana covering his eyes. As soon as he came out of the bush, the lights from the sun started to shine at him through some of the clearing from the trees which surround him.
When he felt the sun on him he started to run. Why he ran from the sun’s warmth because he hated the feeling of warmth on him. He just kept running until he came to a small hut.
He entered it to bump into something that felt like a pot.
“You what are you doing” said somepony
The stallion raised his head for the pony to see why he bumped into the pot.
“My word what has happen to you” said the pony.
“What happen to me, ‘hmph’ don’t want to answer it but first can I have something to wear?” said the stallion.
“Why? To hide your face so others will not see that you are blind” said the pony.
“Actually, I can see find, this bandana just cover my eyes from the sun” said the stallion with a smirk.
“Why do you hide your eyes from the sun?”
“So it won’t burn my eyes and the sun will also burn my skin” he said.
“Fine! Take this then” said the pony who through a cloak to him.
The stallion use his magic to grab the cloak and put it on him. As he made his way to the door he stopped. “Thank you for giving me this Miss”
“Zecora”
“Thank you Zecora for giving me this” the stallion said as he went out the hut. Now out in the forest walking a dirt road that lead to a town. Then he goes to a building near the path he was on. He enters the building to find other ponies talking to each other. While walking to a desk he started to notice others staring at him and even some walking away.
On the desk a mare was looking at some papers until she heard somepony cough. She looks up to find the stallion in a cloak looking at her. “Can I help you?” she said.
“Yes, can I get a room in this hotel please” he said.
“Well do you have a reservation Mr.?”
“Blaze, Blaze Peak you?” he said with a smirk.
“Dust storm is my name and I am the manager in this fine establishment and do you have a reservation Mr. Blaze” said Dust with a smile.
“No”
“Oh! Well do you have and bits for you to buy a room?”
“No I don’t have any bits on me” Blaze said as he started to walk away.
“Well, Did you think this place was free Mr. Blaze!” as Dust yelled to him while he went out the door.
While walking in town, he then saw somepony running towards him in a pink blur. The blur got to him in under a few seconds and now was muzzle to muzzle to the pink pony. “Hi, My name is Pinkie Pie what’s your name” she said while looking at his bandana.
Blaze was very startled by her when she was very close to him and he never let any pony near his face. “Okay first personal space, Second Blaze Peak” he said while using his magic to push Pinkie pie from his face.
“Okay Blaze, want to be friends” Pinkie said with a huge smile that looked like it pass her face and also putting her hoof out for a shake.
All Blaze did was stand there, his breathing started to be faster and heavier. In his mind he started to hear voices “You will never make a good son” said a female voice. “You make our family dishonor themselves for that stupid stunt you did with your ‘friend’” said another voice but more deep.
That’s when he felt tears start to come down from his eyes and he now was shaking his whole body. “Hey are you OK?” said Pinkie who was still waiting for his answer and holding out her hoof still.
“No” he whispered.
“What was that” said Pinkie placing her hoof to her ear to listen for and answer.
“I said No” he whispered again.
“Still can’t hear you” said Pinkie who was now holding a hearing horn to her ear from she got from nowhere.
Blaze’s teeth started to harden and now tears streaming down his eye’s. Pinkie was wondering what was happening to the newcomer and as she got close to his face again she heard a familiar voice behind her. “Hey Pinkie what are you doing- Who’s this pony Pinkie darling” said a unicorn mare with a white coat, purple mane and three gems as a cutie mark.
“Oh hey Rarity, trying to make a new friend and when I said want to be friends, he stopped moving and now looks like this” said Pinkie who pointed her hoof to Blaze.
“Oh somepony new in town, I have to see him” Rarity said who now was in front of Blaze. “Hello there, what do you want to do in this fine town of ours” she said with a smile.
For the first time he finally moved and moved his head to be face to face with Rarity and finally after not talking, he finally spoke. “Go away”
“What did you say darling and why do you have that wrapped around your eyes?” said Rarity who raised her eyebrow in confusion.
Then he finally spoke but it was fueled with rage. “YOU KNOW WHY, YOU DID THIS TO ME SNOW YOU KNOW WHAT YOU DID AND I THOUGHT I GOT AWAY FROM YOU BUT LOOKS LIKE I HAVE TO DO IT AGAIN!!!” yelled Blaze who made Rarity fall down. When he was yelling his cloak flew off from him for ponies around him to look at the pony yelling at Rarity. His coat was the color of sand from his front hooves to his head while the rest of his body was the color of pink. On each of his hooves there was metal that was melded to his flesh from the bottom of his hooves to his knees.
Rarity now was scared for her life while Pinkie was nowhere to be seen. “S-Sorry my name is not snow it’s” but was cut off by Blaze who made a spear from magic and pointed it to Rarity.
“Snow I have no clue how you came back but now, I while make sure you will never com-” but Blaze just fell over before he finished what he was going to say.
Behind him was a lavender alicorn whose horn was glowing slightly from using a magic spell to take down the crazy pony. “Rarity are you ok, are you hurt” said the alicorn who ran up to her.
“I-I’m fine now Twilight, how did you know I was in trouble?” said a scared Rarity.
“Pinkie came to tell me that you were in trouble” as she said that Pinkie just ‘popped’ right behind Twilight as soon as she heard her name. “When I heard you were in trouble I came as fast as I can to help you, luckily I did or you could have been killed by him and also ‘cough’ WHO THE HAY WAS THAT PONY!” yelled Twilight.
“I don’t know, I never meet him yet he talked to me like I know him and if you didn’t come, I have no clue what he would to me”
“It’s find now Rarity you're safe and now” Twilight said but then made a cage from her magic and then floated the stallion inside the cage. “Let’s bring him to my brother for his crime for attempted murder” said Twilight.

Chapter 2
Trust
“Help” said a young filly whose coat was pure as white and mane the color of blue. Right behind her was a timberwolf chasing her through the forest. “Somepony please help ME!” she kept screaming while backing up against a rock wall. As the timberwolf came closer to the mare, a spear came right in front of the timberwolf. Right behind the timberwolf was a green unicorn stallion with a red mane and metal on each of his hoofs. Next to him was a young unicorn colt with a red coat and red mane with a streak of blue in the middle.
“You might want to leave her alone” said the stallion with his eyes closed as the timberwolf looked at him. Then the timberwolf rushed to the stallion to attack him. Then the stallion open his eyes, his iris were the color of green and it looked like flowers. The spear that was thrown started to grow vines from it and grabbed the timberwolf before it’s claw got to the stallion's face. The timberwolf now was unable to move and the two ponies went to the filly who was now behind a rock near the wall. “Are you alright”
The filly stood there for a few seconds until she finally spoke “Y-yes, I’m find now, thank you for saving me if you ha-” but was stopped when the stallion slapped the filly in the face.
“What were you doing in the middle of the forest without any adults with you!” yelled the stallion.
“I did not have anypony with me because my mom and dad were killed by that timberwolf” she pointed to the timberwolf who was still in the vines from the spear “and that is why I was running in the middle of the forest” she said with tears forming in her eyes.
“I see” the stallion said while putting his hoof to his chin “Well, you can come with us for now, the name is Gre-” but stopped when the young colt next to him coughed “Right sorry son, my name is Bright star and this is my son Blaze peak”
“Thank you Mr. Bright star for saving me well since I am going to be with you, my name is Snow” she said putting her hoof out to Blaze.
Blaze stood still as the world around him turned black and started to feel something around his neck, and each of his hoofs. He tried to move but found out he couldn’t and now his world started to turn red.
Blaze woke up and felt chains on him. He looked around to see two unicorns in gold armor looking at him. In the middle of them he saw that their was another unicorn in purple armor. Looking right past him he could see bars and he now knew that he was in a cage or something like that. His train of thought was broken by the unicorn in the middle who spoke "Ah I see that you are finally awake, how are you feeling?"
"I’m doing fine Snow"
"Snow? My name is Shining Armor and who is this Snow you are talking about, Anyway I am the captain of the royal guard in canterlot and the crystal empire and you are?"
"Blaze peak sir, Ex guard" Blaze said with a smirk.
"Wait, so you are saying that you were a guard, okay who were with, the solar, night, or crystal guard?" Said Shining.
Blaze let out a sigh and said "It's classified"
"Classified, ok then why do you have metal on each of your hoofs?" Shining said raising an eyebrow.
"Family tradition"
Shining' eyes widen when he heard that "Family tradition! Who puts metal on their own flesh and blood for a stupid tradition, I will find those who did this to you, so where are they-" but was interrupted by one single word that made the world froze for him.
"Dead"
"D-dead?! What do you mean by dead? How were they killed?" Shining asked.
"You want to know, come closer"
Shining come a little closer so he can hear Blaze say "It's classified"
"Agh! Is everything with you is classified! So I will ask you one question, what is not classified about you! Shining said placing his hoof down and making the ground crack a little from his rage and outburst.
Blaze let out sigh "I will tell you about my eyes if you would ask nicely" he said with a smile.
“Find, can you tell me why do you have that red bandanna covering your eyes and why can we not take it off?” Shining said rolling his eyes in annoyance.
“This bandanna helps me from seeing the one pony that I despise the most when I was young” he let out a sigh “and the reason why you can’t take it off is because it is enchanted”
Shining raised his eyebrow “Enchanted, by what spell”
Blaze raised his head and now was eye level with Shining “A spell that my ancestors made and only my family knows how to perform it”
Shining was about to say something but was interrupted by Blaze “If you wish to remove it, you can’t only my family and the creator of the spell can remove it”
“Well then I still have more questions for you and” but was interrupted by Blaze who is now laughing. “Why are you laughing”
“What do you mean you are getting out of here! No one in their right mind will get you out of this pri-” but then he heard a voice that made him cringe.
“SHINING ARMOR”
Shining turn his head as well as the other guards to see a a very pissed off pink alicorn whose belly is slightly big for she is two months pregnant. “What are you doing!”
“C-cadence?! W-what are you doing here?” Shining said who was now backed up on a wall.
“What am I doing here, what are you doing here!” Cadence said while pointing her hoof to Shining.
“I’m here to interrogate this crazy pony who almost killed one of my sisters friends and what are you doing here!” Shining said.
“I’m here to get one of my friends out of prison and I had to found that my husband is interrogating him”
“Wait? You know him?” Shining said and his eyes went wide.
“Yes I do, now can you leave me and my friend some alone time and also, talk to Twilight for a while” Cadence said while using her magic to unlock the chains from Blaze.
“Fine Cadence I will go but please be careful ok” Shining said as he kissed her on her check.
"You alright Cri-" Cadence was going to say something but was stopped by Blaze's hoof on her mouth.
"Don't ever say that name, he is dead to me! Okay Cadence" Blaze said
Normally Cadence won't let anypony call her by her name except for family and to Cadence Blaze was his adopted brother that she never told anypony. "Ok Blaze, I'm sorry for almost calling you that, I forgot that you hate that name. Well anyway did you see her again" Cadence said.
All Blaze did was nod at question. "She tried to make me her friend again and please let me speak to the mare that I thought was her"
"Alright we will go and meet her with her friends under one condition" Cadence said with a soft smile.
"What would that be Cadence?"
"Talk to this one pony I know" said Cadence with a smirk.
OUTSIDE
Shining Armor was sitting on the ground with his head low while talking to 5 mares. “And now I'm here talking to you Twilight”
Twilight had her mouth open when her brother finished the story “Okay so somehow Cadence knows that pony in that room and” but she stopped when she heard the door to the other room open to see Cadence and the pony that was imprisoned behind her.
"Cadence, how do you know that pony" said Twilight who pointed her hoof to Blaze.
Cadence was just smiling to Twilight "Well Twilight I know him because he is my brother"
Everypony in the room just had their mouths hung open when hearing those words "BROTHER"
Cadence was about to say something but was stopped by Blaze who then spoke "Well adopted brother to be exact and also allow me to introduce myself." Blaze took some steps to be in front of the mares and Shining "My name is Blaze Peak and please just call me Blaze" he said with smirk.
Everypony was silent until Shining broke it "Uh Cady, your family tradition is to infuse metal to the hooves stallions and if our kid is a colt are you going to do it to him?" Shining said with a raised eyebrow.
Cadence now was shocked to hear those words from her husband no less. She was going to say something but Blaze turn his head to her and nodded "Shining armor, I am please to tell you again that I'm her adopted brother, it is my family tradition and not hers."
Blaze then took a few steps to the group and was face to face to Rarity who was shaking a little. "Hello Rarity, Cadence has informed me who you are and I just wasn't to say I'm sorry for almost killing you. I have a thing for white color ponies and it cause me to see them as one pony that has me scared for life and without this" he pointed to his red bandanna covering his eyes "I see everypony else as that pony too but for some reason I still see white ponies with this on. So all I want to say I’m sorry for almost killing”
Rarity still was shaking when she heard him talk but then slapped Blaze in the face. “I almost got killed and all you have is this stupid excuse to” but was stopped by Cadence who now stood in between her and Blaze with fire in her eyes.
“It is the truth Rarity I know him best but not his whole story, so I made him promise to tell his backstory to this one pony I know who might get the truth out of him” Cadence said who pointed a hoof to Rarity.
“Ok so who is this pony?” Rarity said with a raised eyebrow.
Blaze walked around the room until he spoke to Twilight “Princess Twilight, I don’t see her anywhere, I'm looking for Fluttershy?”
Ponyville
“La La La La La” said a yellow pegasus mare with a pink mane and three butterflies for a cutie mark. She was passing food to her animals that were near her home near the Everfree forest. Her name was Fluttershy and she was doing her usually for her animals that she had to take care of. While feeding her pet Angel, a bright flash of green appeared before her.
“Ahh” she scream and flew behind a tree. She looked to see what it was until she notice it was a letter. “Oh my, I wonder who sent me this letter?” she thought as she picked it up.
When she read it she was surprised to see what is said. “Dear, Fluttershy, WE NEED YOU HERE AT CANTERLOT RIGHT NOW!” Fluttershy dropped the letter and rushed into her home. She came out with a saddle bag on her. “Angel honey, I’m going somewhere for a couple of days so please take care ok” Fluttershy said while hovering above Angel.
Fluttershy now was flying to the ponyville train station but unknown to her there was a pony behind a tree in the forest looking at her. “Finally, after all these years I have finally found you” after the pony said that he went backed up to the shadows in the forest.

Yeah it is finally done, sorry for the wait I had school and lots of stuff to do but luckily I had some time to do this. Also I had to rewrite this a couple of times so please review and tell me if there is anything that needs to be fixed

Chapter 3
Doctor Fluttershy
As the ponyville train entered Canterlot train station, ponies started coming out of the train and one of them being Fluttershy. As soon as she came out she flew throw Canterlot and stopped near the palace gates. As she came close to the gates the guards at the gate pointed their spears that they were holding to her “Halt who goes there!”
“Uh F-fluttershy” She whispered and backed up from the spears.
“Who?” the guard on the left said.
“F-fluttershy” she whispered again.
“Who?” The guard on the right said.
“I think should leave” she said and started to walk away. But a purple alicorn soon spotted Fluttershy leaving the gates and flew over to her.
“There you are Fluttershy, we were at the train station looking for you but got distracted by Pinkie who wanted to throw a party for some random ponies birthday who also came out of the train. Come on I will tell you why we brought you here” Twilight said and grabbed Fluttershy’s hoof and walking to the gates again.
When the guards saw Twilight, they both stepped to the side for them to go through. When walking Twilight started to tell her why she was brought here. After talking for awhile, the found themselves in the throne room to see Cadence, Shining armor, and the Sun goddess her, Celestia.
“Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy welcome back, so do you know why you are here Fluttershy” Celestia asked with a smile.
“Uh… kind of, all I know it that I need to talk to this one pony and Cadance will explain more” she said
“That I will Fluttershy, please follow me” Cadence said with a soft smile and walking to her.
When Fluttershy and Cadence were about to leave the throne room, Shining went in front of them “Be careful” he said then gave a quick kiss on Cadence’s forehead.
“Don’t worry about me ok” Cadence said as she and Fluttershy left. As they
“Ok Fluttershy, the reason you are here is because I think you are the only pony to make him tell his tale. You managed to tame Discord and I think this is the perfect job for you. I need you to talk to my brother”
“Brother!? I never knew you had a brother. Twilight never mention you having a brother”
All Cadence was laugh at that “Well she never knew because he doesn't want anypony to know that he exist. All he wants in life is to be off the grid, just explore Equestria. He had a very” But she stopped when Fluttershy asked her a question.
“What’s his name?”
“Oh?! Twilight never told you his name did she” All she got was a nod. “His name is Blaze peak”
“So why is Blaze here instead of traveling Equestria like you said before?” Fluttershy said
“Well that is what he wants to do, but I think he needs help but he always refuses it. I did put a tracking spell on him a couple years back and when I found somepony like you I would bring him back here. But then the spell broke somehow and that spell was a very strong one that he couldn't break” Cadence said.
“Do you know how he broke the spell?”
“I don’t know how maybe you” but Cadence stopped when she heard yelling coming down a hallway. Both Cadence and Fluttershy looked to see two guards, both unicorns, one has a coat color of white and the other blue.
“Why did he attack me when he knows that he is in the princess castile!” the guard who was white said.
“I- I have no clue lieutenant Armstrong” the blue one said.
“Now you listen here Nightblade, I know that princess Celestia and Cadence put you as the guard that devil of a pony but right now I want answers from you on why he tried to kill me!” Armstrong yelled.
‘cough’
Both Nightblade and Armstrong turned around to see a pissed of Cadence and Fluttershy who was behind her scared from the yelling. “So what are you saying about my brother lieutenant” Cadence said with a raised eyebrow.
“Uh nothing your majesty. Nothing at all about your brother at all” said a scared Armstrong.
“Really because I could swear that you called my brother a devil” Cadence said with fire in her eyes. All Armstrong did was back up a little until he felt his flank on the wall. Cadence came closer a whispered into his ear “You talk shit about my brother again and I swear to Celestia that you will be in a much darker place with my brother. Understand! ” she said with a smile “Now don’t you have anything else to do than being here?” Armstrong sprinted away from the group to go guard somewhere else. “Now that he is out of the way please tell me why he was here”
“He wanted to talk to your brother and he went inside the room where he is staying” he pointed to a door that had a sign saying ‘Don't enter’
“I tried to stop him but he punched me in my eye causing a black eye to appear” When Cadence looked closer she can now see a black eye starting to form in his right eye. “Then five minutes later came out with a red lighting bolt chasing him” Nightblade then pointed to part of the wall that had a black scorch mark on it.
“I see. Well can you open the door?”
“Princess! You can’t be serious! I don’t think he will want any” but he stopped by an unexpected voice.
“I would like to talk to him” Fluttershy said.
“Fluttershy?! Are you sure you want to talk with him. I mean the way Nightblade talked about Blaze, I don’t think he would want to talk to anypony” Cadence said with a worried tone and eyes wide.
Fluttershy just nodded “I know what I’m doing Princess. If I can tame an angry dragon and Discord the lord of chaos, then I think I can handle him” she said with a soft smile”
“All right you can go but please be carefull. Nightblade open the door!” Nightblade nodded and use his magic to open the door. Fluttershy entered the door and then it closed. Cadence let out a small sigh “You're going to need it”

Blaze was in a bathroom looking at a mirror without his bandanna covering his eyes that had tears. “Why do you haunt me Snow. I loved you but I will never forgive you” Then he punched the mirror making it crack.
“Uh hello anypony here?” said a voice
Blaze raised his ears from hearing that and turned his head to the door of the bathroom. “I guess that’s Fluttershy” He used his magic to put his bandanna over his eyes and went to the door to meet Fluttershy.

Fluttershy was in the middle of a white room. It had a couch, a small table, a desk, and a bed. She was about to say something but somepony else spoke. “I guess your Fluttershy?” Blaze said with a raised eyebrow.
“EEP” Fluttershy yelled and hid behind the couch.
Blaze just laughed at her for hiding. “Don’t worry, I won't hurt you. My name is Blaze but you probably know who I am”
Fluttershy raised her head slowly to see Blaze with his red bandanna covering his eyes but what caught her attention was the metal on his hooves. “Oh my! What happen to you hooves!?
Blaze looked at his metal hooves than back at her “Uh they are made of metal that is what happen to my hooves, didn't sis tell you about then?” All Blaze got was a nod saying no “Alright then, let’s talk” He started to move to the couch and Fluttershy can now see the rest of him and his pink skin. As he sat down he then looked at her to see her eyes wide.
“Wha… How... “ was she can say about his skin.
Blaze titled his head in confusion on how she was talking then realized why she was talking like that. “Oh! I guess she also didn’t explain about my skin” He then let out a sigh “It is something that I really wish not to talk about ok. Plus I also think that is the reason you are hear, to talk about my past”
“Uh actually, I wanted to ask you something that is not about your past” Blaze titled his head again in confusion “I want you to tell me about my past” Fluttershy said with a smile.
“Are you sure you want to talk about your past?”
“Oh I’m sure if it is ok with you?” she said with a soft smile.
“Ok” Blaze now rested his head on the couch “So how was your childhood?”
Fluttershy’s ears dropped when she heard that even though she knew it was coming. She then let out a sigh “My childhood was horrible”
“Horrible how?” Blaze said in a causally tone.
“Horrible as in I never knew my parents. I always moved from orphanage to orphanage until I met my adopted father who was the head of the summer flight camp that me and my best friend Rainbow dash went to.” she said with tears starting to form.
“I see. What was the stallion's name”
“His name was Cri” but she stopped when she noticed Blaze get up and looked at her in the eyes.
“Never say that name to me understand!” Blaze yelled to her and she cringed in fear at his outburst.
He then noticed what he did and sat back down “I’m sorry Fluttershy, It’s just when I hear that name I just” but stopped when he felt a hoof on his mouth.
“It’s ok, I didn’t know about that. Cadence did say that you had a tragic past but I didn’t know about how you would react to that name. Can you forgive me” she said with a soft smile.
“Of course I will forgive you, but right now, how about we continued to talk about” but was stopped by a loud ringing sound. He then glanced at a clock that was in his room and it said it was 7:00. “I guess we better get some sleep before we talk more ok. It was nice to meet you Fluttershy” After saying that he went into the bathroom leaving her all by herself.
“Uh… Goodnight?” Said a Confused Fluttershy.

Armstrong was walking in the halls of the castile to reach the barracks so he can get some sleep. “Stupid guard post, Stupid rules on how to handle prisoners” he kept mumbling to himself. As he turn the corner he noticed somepony looking outside at the night sky. “Hey what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to heading to the barracks like the rest of us?”
The pony turn around and now he can make out what the pony looked like. He was a earth pony stallion but didn’t have any of the royal guard armor and wore a vest. His coat was jet black, his mane was red with two lines of pink, and his eyes were glowing green. “Hello there, I want to ask you a favor?” he said.
“Uh what would that be stranger?” Armstrong said with a raised eyebrow.
“Sniff this flower” he said and he grab a flower from a pocket that was from his vest and put near Armstrong’s face.
“Uh Okay” Armstrong went closer and sniffed it. “Huh smells like cherries” Then he heard something moving in the flower, before he moved away something went up in his nose. He fell down to the ground and started to twitch and roll back his eyes.
The pony with the flower laughed “Yes my child take him, and make him your brother” Armstrong stopped twitching and blood was starting to come out of his nose then he stood up looking at the strange pony. “Who do you serve?”
“You, my father” said Armstrong with his eyes glowing green.
