The morning wind still had the chilly breeze that makes you shiver it was so early that everyone was still tucked up in bed
Sunset always woke up at the same time, her subconscious telling her to watch the sun rise every morning.
She sat up on her bed, yawning 'geez it's still dark out' Sunset acknowledged in her mind as she peered out her window. Pulling back the covers Sunset trotted into the the bathroom. *yawn*
After freshening up and running a comb through her knotty mane, Sunset trotted back into her bedroom to see Sparky and Toothless both snoring like idiots.
"Hey Sparky get up, you two Toothless!" A loud groan from Sparky and a low growl from Toothless were her only two replies. "Oh for bucks sake" Sunset huffed and thought for a minute, her face lighting up when an idea dawned upon her. " Oh well, guess I'll just have to eat all my triple chocolate honeycomb sugar syrup pancakes with Twilight and Spike, such a shame" Sunset said with a malicious grin.
Sparky shot up "Morning Shimmer, we have a busy day today" Sparx shot out of bed and slithered past Sunset "Well come on stop lounging around......there's pancakes to be made!" Sparx called back.
She heard a gruff chuckle come from the lion as he slowly stretched and walked up to Sunset. "Come on, let's go wake up Twilight, Spike and White Fang, then I'll make breakfast" Sunset mumbled to the Dream eater as she trotted down the corridor.
Sunset reached a beautifully carved door "Twilight?" Sunset called out and gently opened the door to be greeted with the sight of a sleeping pony princess snoring. Sunset giggled as she trotted up to the bed and nuzzled Twilight while Toothless curled up next to White Fang.
"Hey you," a groggy voice whispered to Sunset causing her to get a warm fuzzy feeling inside.
"Hey Twi, come on we have a busy day today."
Twilight frowned "what time is it?"
Sunset looked out the window at the slowly brightening streets, "About 5am"
"Sunset! We're not supposed to be up for at least a few hours, the point in us not sharing a bed was that you DIDNT wake me up this early," Twilight mumbled into her pillow.
"Heh, erm oops, I'll leave you to sleep then." Sunset nodded but Twilight couldn't help but hear a hint of disappointment.
"Sunset come here," Twilight rolled her eyes and yanked Sunset into the bed, snuggling into her.
"Woah, how did y-"
"Shhhhhh" Twilight groaned,
"But - " Sunset shut up when she saw she was on the receiving end of a glare. "Heh, okay shhhh it is" Sunset mumbled as she laid her head on top of Twilights, snuggling back into her. "I love you" Sunset whispered.
"Hmmm I love you to now SHUT UP." Twilight said in an overly sweet voice causing Sunset to laugh nervously and drift off to sleep.
The door slammed open to reveal Pinkie Pie and Sparx "PANCAK-" they both stopped shouting as they saw the two ponies snuggled up together asleep looking absolutely adorable.
A pissed off looking baby dragon jumped up from his bed "Oh what now! First it's those to lovey dovey ponies and now it's you! What does a baby dragon need to do to get some sleep around here!?"
"Turn that frown upside down Spike! Or I'll start a party right here, right now. Come on Spakry, I'll make you your pancakes." Pinkie said as she bounced out of the room.
"Wait - pancakes?" Spike asked curiously and ran out after Pinkie pie and Sparx, gently shutting the door.

"We'll be back soon Twilight, honestly, trips like this only take a few days but if anything goes wrong you know how to talk to me" Sunset assured as her train pulled into the station.
"Yea I know, its still a shame that you're going to miss the Cutie Mark Crusaders' cute-ceañera." Twilight remarked as she walked Sunset to the train door.
"I know, I know. I don't want to miss it; I've always wondered when the three little time bombs would finally get their cutie marks, at least now we'll be able to sleep at night, no more need for worrying about our safety and sanity when they're around." Sunset and Twilight giggled.
"ALL ABOARD!" The train conductor interrupted everyone's goodbyes.
"Well that's our Que to leave, see you in a few days Twilight." The two ponies hugged;
"SUNSET! Hey, come sit next to me! Hey Twilight!" A grey pony with blonde hair waved rather ecstatically to the pair.
"Hey Derpy," Twilight waved back. "Looks like you'll have someone to talk to on your way" she smiled. Twilight pecked Sunset on the lips and watched as she trotted into the train.
"Twilight, I don't mean to disturb you but, you're going to miss the party." A quiet voice stammered behind Twilight.
"Oh hey Fluttershy, you weren't interrupting anything." The Alicorn flew up next to the Pegasus and smiled at her "Come on lets go." Twilight urged as she started her way to Sugar Cube corner.
At sugar cube corner
"I'm so proud of you Sweetie Bell," Rarity sniffed through her tears;
"Yea Squirt, your cutie mark is awesome! Not as awesome as mine but you're pretty close," Rainbow Dash grinned and winked at Scootaloo.
"Told ya'll all you needed to do was wait," Applejack beamed at Apple Bloom.
"Come on everypony, lets PARTY!!" Pinkie Pie shouted as she pulled out two large party cannons and fired decorating the whole town in party decorations.
Twilight and Fluttershy landed close to Sugar Cube corner to see the cute-ceañera bustling with everypony in ponyville, each enjoying the celebration, "Hey Twilight, Sunset gone already?" Applebloom asked as the Alicorn approached Sugarcube corner which had become the center of the celebration.
"Yea, congratulations by the way! You finally got you cutie mark, now you can stop asking me to magic one up for you," Twilight chuckled as Applebloom blushed from the memory.
"Hehe, ya'll don't need to go into that Twilight" Applebloom mumbled "Thanks for congratulatin' me"
"Well remember that if you don't understand something, rushing too fast to find the answer will only -"
"Hey Applebloom, you know what we need to do now don't you!? Let's go and find some fillies that need our help!" Scootaloo interrupted "Heh sorry Twilight, but the cutie mark calls!"
"Maybe the map in Twilight's castle will call us to go somewhere important to solve a problem!" Sweetie Bell chimed to the group. Causing Twilight to just roll her eyes.
"Hey Twilight busy day today? Or are you staying for the party?" AppleJack called as she and Rainbow Dash walked up to her;
"No I better be off back to the castle soon, I have a few......Ugh suitors that apparently haven't quite gotten the message that I am not available into their brains, and even if I was available I doubt that I could ever appreciate the idea of marrying somepony so that they can become more popular. Princess Cadence also asked to see me for some reason later on today which should bring some joy to the castle, so I am pretty booked up." Twilight looked towards her castle, knowing that suitors would be coming to ask her to marry them due to her status made it rather daunting.
Rainbow huffed in annoyance, "Why can't I just show them how to - "
"No Rainbow!" Twilight demanded, "Thanks for the offer but they won't take kindly to somepony being rude, they'll only get more stubborn and that is really not what I need right now, you girls enjoy the party and I'll deal with the suitors" Twilight sighed as she trotted towards the castle.

"And that is why I believe me and you would make an extraordinary pair, the social benefits that you will achieve from becoming my mare will be exemplary me being the most desirable stallion in all -"
Twilight zoned out as the stallion droned on and on about how she would 'gain a better social status' if she were to agree to marry him.
"Well that sounds lovely Blueblood" Twilight interrupted almost sarcastically but somehow still polite, causing the unicorn to frown. Twilight had already dealt with two nobles and had another one after Blueblood, so she really didn't have time to deal with his constant everlasting flow of nonsense.
"Ah so when do you propose the wedding should be Twilight?" The White Unicorn stood proudly, as if he had just won a prize.
"Excuse me?"
"You agree to my terms do you not? So there is no reason to -"
"I have not agreed to anything and please do not call me Twilight." The Alicorn interrupted again frustrating Blueblood.
"Well then 'Princess'" Blueblood complained, putting extra sarcasm on the word 'princess' "What exactly is the problem? You can not seriously be telling me that the rumours of you being with that...ugh.. Average unicorn are true!? The idea of - " Blueblood started to rant.
"Scilence!" Twilight interrupted for the last time. "I am afraid I could never see myself with a pony who believes that he is above all, especially after how you treated Rarity at the Gala a few moons ago."
"That unicorn mare with the nagging attitude? How can you expect me to deal with a mare who wants me to do things for her! My status was not enough for the greedy mare and I see no reason why I should be punished for it!"
"This meeting is over Blueblood, I will not accept being with such an arrogant pony, no matter how popular you are. Rarity is my friend, I know that she is definitely NOT a greedy pony. I think you need to leave." Blueblood frowned and opened his mouth to talk "NOW!!" Twilight roared at him.
"Well I never." The unicorn mumbled on his way out of the castle.
sigh One more to go. I wonder what Sunset is up to now. Twilight thought to herself.
On The Train To Canterlot
"Eyup, wow really? You don't say." Were Sunsets only comments on Derpy's oh so captivating stories about the adventures that her and Doctor Whooves had undertaken. Sunset were 100% sure we're not true: "So what is bringing you to Canterlot?" She interrupted Derpy in hoped to give her mind a break.
"Oh I need to collect some....some....erm..." Derpy frowned while she thought. "Zygon eggs!" Derpy jumped up in excitement slapping Sunset in the face by accident causing her to fall off of her seat in shock. ".....I think." The Pegasus said clearly oblivious to what she had done for a few moments before looking behind her, "Oh you okay Sunset?".
"Zygon eggs?" Sunset looked at Derpy with disbelief, "I'm gonna regret this but oh please Derpy tell me: what are Zygon eggs?" Sunset asked with frustration at her curiosity.
"Well - "
Back At The Castle
Another noble walked into Twilights castle with two servants carrying a chalk board behind him making her feel this increasing amount of dread creeping up her spine and twisting her stomach.
Just as he opened his mouth to speak the Princess saw her cutie mark staring to glow, after recovering from the surprise Twilight had never been happier to have the map call her. "I am sorry but we will have to re schedule this." She quickly stated before the noble could utter a word. The suitor looked at her as if she were mad.

"I have some business to attend to, please reschedule for a later date." Twilight dismissed the pony as she cantered past him into the throne/map room, to see her cutie mark over what appeared to be a giant cloud littered with rainbows. "Cloudsdale? Why would it send me there instead of somepony like Rainbow?" Twilight thought aloud after noticing that ONLY her cutie mark stood over Cloudsdale.
"Hey Twilight wh- woah! You've been called somewhere! That's great." Spike said enthusiastically as he walked into the same room.
"Spike can you write a letter to Princess Cadence rescheduling our meeting, I have to take a trip to Cloudsdale." Twilight flapped her wings once as if that would get the point across.
"On it! Seeing as you have wings now you can walk on the clouds too....can I come? I don't have a cutie mark so how would you know if it wants me there or not." Spike noted. As he finished his sentence the map began to glow a deep maroon and little dark red flames circled around it.
The purple Alicorns' pupils shrunk to the side of peas, "I'm guessing that's how we'll now that you can't come with me." Twilight assumed with confusion. The moment she said that the flames dispersed and the portal changed back to its original colour.
"Woah, this must really be important." Spike worried, pulling out a pen and paper to write a note to Cadence.
White Fang who had been napping in the corner looked at the map and growled.
**I will come along Twilight, the map will accept me coming with you.
Twilight nodded to the Dream eater and began to walk outside. "Spike one other thing, don't tell the girls about my absence unless they ask, there is no need to worry them while they are supposed to be enjoying the Cutie Mark Crusaders party." The little welpling nodded "See you later Spike" She said as she and White Fang took off to Cloudsdale.
"Bye Twilight...Stay safe" The baby dragon mumbled in worry as he watched the two figures fly away.
