Chapter Two
As I struggled to consciousness I felt on one side something cold and hard and on the other is a warm sensation that was reassuring now fully conscious I felt pain so severe that I couldn’t move. I’m pretty sure that if I did I would blackout. Man what happened last night at the party? No that’s not right.
Then the realization hit me I was asleep in my hospital bed after the doctor came to check for side effects… It was that pill they gave me they said it was experimental but I took it anyways and ten minutes after it felt like my body was changing. I had blacked out and come to multiple times but last time was the last and now I’m somewhere else. I wonder what those doctor's are doing back at the hospital?
At the hospital
A nurse shout's “His heart gave out what do we do”? The doctor looked at the nurse
“Give him 20cc’s of Adrenaline and get a defibrillator in here. Now”!!! As the nurse gave him the shot the doctor was setting up the defibrillator. “Clear” *Thunk* “No pulse” *Beep* “Clear” *Thunk* “Nadda”
“Up the voltage to 10,000 volts” *Beep* “Clear” *Thunk* “Nope”
“Damn it we lost him. Oh well turn his body over to The feds so they can do a autopsy”. The doctor looks down at the still form of the equine and shakes his head “If only he lived” After the statement the doctor turns around and adds “I’ll break the news to his family”.
Johns mom had feared the worse for john and his sister but as time progressed the fear of losing john had taken hold after the doctor had said john had gone into a coma. She was contemplating if he came out of it for what felt like forever. When the doctor came she turned to him hopefully “How is he”?
“Ms.Smith I’m sorry but his heart gave out we tried everything to restart it but is to damaged to work”.
“No my little boy. No bring him back bring him back please”.
The doctor looked at the distraught woman“There’s nothing we can do. Let him go”.
“Nooooooooooo”!!!!!
Back to Jon
I was in the middle of a thought and off to what seemed the left a voice said “Oh my are you ok”? me being in too much pain and being too weak I didn’t do anything so they probably thought I was unconscious which I was on the verge of. soon another voice asked
"Do you want me to carry him”?
“Yes thank you now let get him to the hospital…. if that’s alright with you I mean”.
“It’s alright I got him you go and tend to your animal’s”.
“Are you sure you can”?
“Yes I can. And I’m sure your animal friends need to be fed”?
“If you’re sure “? I felt a tingling sensation and then a sharp pain and darkness once more.
A few hours later
“My head” I grumble out in pain. But you see this pain is much more bearable.
The voice gasped and said “Oh you're awake how do you feel”
“Pain” I blatantly state
“I’ll go get the doctor”. And with that the voice was off with a door slam since I figured that I have a bit I delve into memories from the past.
Ten years ago
“John I know you want to move your arm but with that broken collar bone of yours you can’t go and play with your friends”.
“Fine mom”.....
Back to the present
The memory fade as I think about my childhood and can’t help at the fact that I was rambunctious child. Soon I heard the door opening and whoever brought me here and who I assume is the doctor.And there feet sounded Like they were in plastic shoes or something But that might be me.
“Hello I’m Doctor Whooves and I will be your doctor while you remain your stay at the hospital”.
“Nice to meet you doc my names Jonathan Smith”.
“That’s a weird name”. The voice from earlier said and now that my head is somewhat clearer I can tell that this voice is female and the other one who states he is a doctor is clearly male.
“You sound familiar but I can’t place it”.
After a moment of thinking I realize that I heard her while I was on the ground laying there. “You’re that voice I heard from earlier”
“Oh really”
“Yup but when you picked me up the pain caused me to blackout”. I wince a little from a spike in pain as I try to hold back a scream. The doctor or something must have noticed as he gave me a shot of painkillers. I sighed with relief and finish the statement from earlier “Thank you Miss for taking me to a hospital but what is your name”?
“My name is Twilight Sparkle nice to meet you”.
“Nice to meet you too Twilight. Is it ok if I call you that”?
“It’s fine and I have one tensie little question”?
“Go ahead ask away”
“Why are your eyes closed”
“No clue”
“If I may caution Mr.Smith open your eye’s slowly”. Completely disregarding the doctor's warning I let my eyes fly open and regret it. I slam my eyes closed and let out a pained hiss that even the painkillers couldn’t quell. So I try again slower this time and my eyes are assaulted with color’s that eventually settle into fuzzy shapes and forms that got increasingly clearer with every time that I blinked and soon settled into a crystal clear ponies. Ponies!!
“This is not real. I’m dreaming”. I rip out the Iv and tried to sit up to only pushed down gently and held there but I pushed whoever was on top of me and tried to get up and then the doctor yelled
“Twilight hold him down”! I feel a tingly sensation encase my body and that’s when I lost it and I started to thrash about and soon I feel a pinch in my side and look over to see this pony with a syringe in hoof and I felt the world slip into nothingness.

Hey guy's these chapters will get longer but for now enjoy and yes constructive criticism is welcome.
As I came to I realized two things I was hungry and thirsty. The other thing being where am I? “Hello anybody there”? When no one responded I assumed I was alone so I opened my eyes and was greeted with a Nurse checking my charts but she grunted letting me know she heard me. As I looked at the nurse I realized that she was pure white with a picture on her flank that was a red medical cross. The nurse also had other noticeable traits like vivid red hair and magenta eyes and she was wearing nurse fatigues and when she was done reading my stats on the chart she called in the doctor and he asked
“How are you feeling today Mr.Smith”the doctor eyed me over making me feel uncomfortable.
“Well other than feeling cramped and not being able to move or remember anything I’m fine”.
“You should remember everything soon. But you reacted bad to the sedative we gave you. As for the cramps and not being able to move we put you in restraints so you wouldn’t hurt anyone or yourself”.
“Can you get these off”?
“Only if you don’t struggle”.
“I won’t and by the way what’s your name”?
“My name is Doctor Whooves and the nurse that was tending you when you were unconscious her name is Redheart”. He points to the nurse looking over my charts.
“Thank you doctor and thank you nurse”. After I say that the room got so quiet that you could hear a pin drop. I take this opportunity to memorize on how the doctor looks like he is light shade of brown with a even darker shade of brown for his mane with baby blue eyes.To me the thing that throws me off is that the picture on his flank is a hourglass weird.
The doctor breaks the silence with “How about we get you out of those restraints hmm”.
"Thanks but I have one question why am I different than you”.
“Let me tell you”.
“Sure”.
“There are three races of ponies. Earth ponies which Nurse Redheart and I am. Next we have Pegasi or Pegasus like you are and they the ability to fly and control the weather. And finally we have unicorns who only have horns and can use magic and manipulated space and if they are strong enough. They coul manipulate time itself.
“Well that makes sense. So you’re done with the lecture could release me from these restraints”.
“Nurse id you could help” Soon they had the restraints off and I was stretching all of my stiff muscle except for my wing which just remained closed. The doctor noticed my struggles and came over laughing.
“It is quite common to lose all feeling in your wing’s if they haven't been used or stretch for a while”.
“Could you fix it I would like to fly sometime soon”.
“If you want though I must tell you that all pegasi wing are extremely sensitive in between the wing and in the primary feathers along with other areas along the wings”.
“One question do the unicorns or earth ponies have and sensitive areas”?
“Yes actually they do. Unicorns horns are extremely sensitive. While earth ponies hooves right in between the ears and at the base of their tails”.After saying that he pushed several pressure points on my left wing. But as soon as he pushes the first one I gasp in pure pleasure
“O..Ok th..that f….f….feels good” for the next minute I’m in heaven. As soon as he stops I’m out of breath
“Your wings are really that sensitive”? All I can do is nod my head”It seems Mr.Smith that your wings are oversensitive. But let's get the other one out of the way”. I was moan and panting in pure pleasure. After he stop’s I’m still shaky but I can feel my wings so I stretch them out and get a good look at them for the first time. My wings are red with blue flecks. Out of the corner of my eye I see Nurse Redheart blushing heavily.
Taking a deep breath to strengthen my nerves “Why are you blushing nurse”?
This prompted to cause her to blush even deeper than before.” O...OK um doc when will I get out of here exactly “?
“ Today but I need you to fill out some medical forms”I just look at him in disbelief.
“(Sigh)OK”
As I walk out behind the doctor I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror in the corner. I have a vivid almost neon blue for my slightly ruffled main and my coat color is a bright vivid red. And as for my eyes they are well red.
“Jon are you coming”?
“ Yeah ….Yeah” I rip my gaze from the mirror and trot out of the room and after my guide.
5 minutes later
I hope I filled out these correctly. I hand back the forms and head out to the lobby to only be tackled by a pink blur.
“Pinkie Pie get off of him”!
“Okie Dokie Lokie”
“Thank you” I gasp as I try to get all of the precious life force known as air. After I stand up I look at my savior and she is a purple unicorn with a two tone mane and a solid lavender colored coat. After a little bit I decide to introduce myself “Hi my name is Jonathan Smith and what might be your names”?
The lavender colored mare introduced herself “Hello Jonathan my name is Twilight Sparkle”
“I don't like it when I get called my actual name just call me Jon” As I was saying that I put on a scowl
“ Hi my name is Pinkie Pie. Do you like cake? Do you like to party? How old are you what's your favorite flavor of cake”? Oh dear Celestia she's gonna kill me with energy might as well answer them right?
“Yes,strawberry, yes, 20”.I slapped myself mentally for the little expression I showed.I just looked at this pink hyperactive mare.
“Howdy names Applejack” She stuck out a hoof for me to shake.
“Nice to meet you Applejack” I say shaking her hoof noticing that
I look at the white unicorn with what seems to be intricately styled purple hair as she introduces herself “Hello my name is Rarity and I must say your coat and mane go well together and your wings are to die for”!
Taken back by the compliment I manage to get out a “Thank you” After I recover I look behind Rarity I see a cowering buttercup colored pegasus with light pink hair “Hey don’t worry I won't hurt you”. I crouch down and hold a hoof out to show her that I won't do her any harm and after a minutes hesitation she takes it “What’s your name”?
“It’s Fluttershy”.
“I’m sorry what was that”?
“Fluttershy” She says it in a very timid and quiet tone that I almost didn’t hear
“Nice to meet you Fluttershy” I turn back to the rest of the group.
“Sorry you couldn’t meet Rainbow Dash she’s at home having some alone time and moping around”.
I gaze at Twilight “What happened”?
“She just broke up with her coltfriend”.
I stare at her wide eyed. But after what seemed like I shook my head and said “He must have been abusive or something”. And at that the five mare just nodded their heads. Then I got a idea “Why don’t we go and cheer her up”?
Applejack looked at me amused “An’ how do you rekon Me, Twilight, And Rarity Hop on a cloud and not fall through”?
“Actually Applejack I have a cloudwalking spell” Twilight Countered
“See Now we could go give your friend a reason to cheer up and probably through her a party”. At that Pinkie Pie Jumped up and down while saying “Omg” over and over and eventual ran off “What was that”?
“That was Pinkie Pie being Pinkie Pie”. Applejack said shaking her head
“O…...K back to Rainbow Dash lets go and try to comfort her”.
20 Minutes later
“Nice place” I whistled. I wondered how Rainbow Dash could afford it.
“Don’t worry your pretty little head sugarcube. When I first saw her house I was a little intimidated. But you get used to its size” Applejack said trying to comfort me
“Thanks Aj”. I muttered with new hope
“OK Applejack it’s your turn” I look over to see Twilight trotting towards us “ And don’t worry it only tickles”
Applejacks only response was a huffed “Fine”
After that Twilight's horn starts glowing and Applejack trying her hardest to not laugh but was ultimately inevitable failed.
“Ahahahah" but after the laughing stopped "I’m glad that's over. Ah couldn't breath” Twilight only looked at Applejack with amusement in her eyes
I myself was getting impatient “So when are we going to head up”?
“Now” Twilight said matter o’factly “ Why don’t you head on up ahead of us”.
“Finally” And with that I snap open my wings and fly up towards Rainbow Dash’s house. Not ten seconds later I’m at the front door which was slightly opened. Walking cautiously inside.
“You are a useless horse”! A voice yelled *Smack*
I hear that and I'm rushing to the direction of the yell. I hear a bunch of hoof beats from behind a door off of my right. As I approach it a blood curdling scream rips into the air.
“Ahhhhhhhhhhhh-”
“Shut up you dumb bitch” *Smack*
I went into overdrive trying to break down the door. After the third buck the lock finally breaks allowing the door to swing open to a gruesome sight. Blood seemed to cover the entire floor. But I noticed a black tail going out the window. Not my concern. My concern is the mare on the floor. Through the blood that covered her I could see cyan fur and a rainbow mane. “Are you ok”! I rush over to her and checked to see if she was breathing. When I knew she was alive I picked her up and flew out to the house and towards the town.
I felt a cone of pressure form around me *Boom* I shot forward so fast that within seconds I’m on the outskirts of town and I can see where the hospital is so I slow down and second later I barge through the front door yelling “Somebody get a doctor! Hurry she’s bleeding out”!
After I had said that Doctors came rushing from the direction of the O.R. while one of them were saying “Set her on the stretcher” After doing that another doctor came forward and pulled me aside so that I can get cleaned up.
But after I was clean I was pulled aside for questioning by none other than Doctor Whooves.
“Hello Mr.Smith You do know why I pulled you aside right”?
“I’m gonna go with questioning”. It was a no brainer since you know I just brought in a severely injured mare.
“Exactly Mr.Smith”
An hour later
“Alright you're free to go” The Doctor said looking over the notes he took down in the questioning hell he sent me through.
I stopped a passing nurse
“Do you know what room Rainbow Dash is located in”?
“She’s in room 23”
“Thank you” I hastily said before I galloped off to see if she was awake or not. Soon I got to room 23 and ever so slowly so that if she was asleep. She wasn’t asleep she was looking at the door when I walked in.
“So you’re the one that saved me” she asked in a tomboyish voice that seemed to go with her.
“And I assume you’re Rainbow Dash”
“The one and only” She said with a smirk that earned a laugh from me and a grimace from her. A jolt ran down my spine and I got a ludicrous thoughts of me and Rainbow Dash together. Shaking my head to clear I realize how unique she is. No don’t let hormones get the best of you I thought trying to clear my head.
“Yes I did save you but who was that on stallion that was hurting you”? I asked in attempt to get my brain back on track and not in the gutter.
“I don’t want to talk about it” After saying that she just closes her eyes and looks off to the side
“What if I told you one of my darker secrets” And at that she opens her eyes and looks towards me. Taking a deep breath I state “My father almost killed me when I was young. But not in a drug induced way. He did it out of hate”
“Why would he do that” She says with tears brimming her eyes
“Ponies can be mean and cruel” I say with hatred lacing my voice
“That pony you saw was a ex of mine from years ago. I don’t know why he did this to me” I look at her reassuringly. And what she does next surprises me.
She kisses me.

Prolouge
Prologue
“What do you mean he’s stuck in this form”? A very concerned voice asks.
I looked over to see a blurry form. “Where am I”? I ask unsure what to do.
“Ah Mr.Smith you're awake. How do you feel”?
“Well…. I …. I don’t know … I don’t feel anything”.
“Are you sure you took a nasty spill”. The doctor said sounding quite alarmed
”A.. Are you sure”
The doctor “hmmed” thoughtfully “Well I’ll ask you tomorrow to see if you remember anything”.
“Okay” at this point I had closed my eyes to keep nausea that the blurry vision caused at bay which was going well
“Try to get some rest Mr.Smith”. After he left I slowly drifted off into a deep slumber which was interrupted by a pulling sensation that I ignored as I drifted into slumber once more but a memory took over my dreams.
It was a nice warm evening at the Smith house with just the right mood and everybody doing something “Hey John could you take me to the store”?
“Sure why not I have nothing to do just let me get dressed”
“Ok”.
As I was getting dressed I got that feeling that something bad was going to happen but I shrugged it off and walked out of my room to meet my little sister. “Hey sis you ready to go”
“yeah why”?
“just wondering”. I grab my keys and walk out the front door with sister in tow.
“Give me a minute to move my tool box to the backseat”. After that was done I got in the car and pulled out of the driveway….The memory fades off to be replaced by another one….
I had turned the corner in a car full of groceries and family “Hey sis do you have a fee-” Something slammed into the driver side of the car with such force that it was catapulted with its occupants into the air...
That’s when everything goes black and stays black until he woke up.But unbeknownst to him that small tug was transporting him to another dimension.
