Twilight Sparkle was a mare driven by a mixture of habit, strict planning, and just a dash of luck.It was this amalgamation of traits that led her to venture into the market every other day in search of anything from quills to groceries to personal items. However, this particular venture into the marketplace seemed different from the moment she stepped outside.
The usual flow of hoof-traffic that greeted her as she left her castle home seemed much more singularly focused than it ever had before. After a brief thirty pace strut into town, the veritable stampede of ponies gravitating in one direction became too great (and too intriguing) to ignore. So, with an ever growing curiosity gnawing at her gut, she assimilated herself into the mass and followed as it spilled through the town.
After some time, the current of murmuring, speculating bodies slowed and eventually halted. Twilight strained her neck to be able to see over the crowd, but — almost as if she’d willed it so — the crowd parted at her hooves and she cautiously crept to the center.
What greeted her was a towering purple box sitting right in the middle of the busiest thoroughfare in Ponyville bearing a large, gaudy sign that read “What’s your fantasy?” Twilight walked up to the strange object, circling its base before eventually flying up to get an aerial perspective. She concluded her investigation perplexed as she’d ever been, unable to make heads or tails of the strange entity.
“What is it?” A curious onlooker asked aloud.
“Is it like a fortune teller or something?” Another questioned.
“Princess Twilight,” an older mare with a snow white mane and a cappuccino coat came to stand beside the bewildered princess. “Do you have any idea what this thing is or how in Equestria it got here?”
“I’m not sure,” Twilight said, the analytical side of her mind worked into a frenzy behind her skeptical eyes. She moved to stand betwixt the box, putting her at the apex of the still growing crowd and then cleared her throat. “Excuse me, everypony. Did any of you happen to see where this strange purple box might have come from?”
The frantic thrum of conversation that Twilight’s question drummed up was promising, but it failed to yield much in the way of ponies who knew anything about the monolithic purple eyesore sitting in the middle of the road. Then, suddenly a bystander stepped out from the throng of bodies, looking nervous at being thrust into the spotlight like she’d been.
“I always wake up at around five thirty in the morning to tend to my garden and I saw it sitting out there in the road.”
“Same with me,” another mare stepped forward. “I tend to wake up at about the crack of dawn myself and I saw it sitting there as soon as I opened my curtains.”
The mess of chattering ponies only continued to grow louder and more speculative. Twilight could feel herself growing impatient.
“So… nopony knows where this thing actually came from?” The crowd blinked back at the princess’s question and Twilight turned sharply on her hooves. “Alright, I guess it doesn’t matter how it got here. The only question now is how to we’re going to get rid of it.”
After giving the object another thorough once over, Twilight set her jaw and planted her back right hoof firmly into the dirt.
“Stand back, everypony,” She commanded, and just like that the crowd gravitated away from her and the object. A brief second of nothing passed and then the princess’s horn began to glow, encasing the towering object in the same diaphanous light. Twilight groaned and strained as she attempted to lift the object from the ground, but even as the glow in her horn magnified and the aura surrounding the object grew brighter, the object remained obstinately in place.
Twilight eventually had to relent, dropping to the ground in an exasperated pile, prompting a few concerned citizens to rush to her aide.
“I’m fine,” she insisted, waving them back with a hoof. “There’s one more thing I want to try.”
The princess’s horn sparked to life again, however, this time the glow remained rooted to her horn, and following a mighty grunt of exertion, a brilliant flash of purple rocketed out of her horn and was sent racing toward the object. Twilight — along with the rest of the town — watched her spell seem to make contact with the object, only for it to then ricochet off of it and into the sky where a bird absently flying overhead was incinerated.
“Well that didn’t work,” Twilight grumbled pointedly as she watched the innocent bird’s ashes fall into the crowd which prompted a succession of ear-piercing shrieks from the mares that had been unlucky enough to be standing under it. Twilight turned back to the mysterious thing, the frown still firmly attached to her jaw. “I don’t understand. Who would just put something like this in the middle of Ponyville? Let alone something with such sophisticated magical protection.”
Twilight approached the object again, but this time instead of analyzing it or igniting her horn again, she simply began to feel around its exterior with her hooves. The process was slow and methodical, but as she reached what would she perceived as the middle, she reached pay dirt in what seemed to be a carefully hidden door.
Twilight hummed thoughtfully as she eased it open just enough to stick her head through, blinking as she was greeted with ominous darkness. She curiously waved her hoof at the dark insides of the thing and felt nothing but air. She frowned but reasoned there was no immediate danger so she pushed the door open all the way and meandered her way inside, letting out an embarrassingly high squeak as it slammed shut behind her.
“Hey!” Twilight growled, trying valiantly to push the door open to no avail. The mare took a few steps back from the wall and lit up her horn again, intent on testing another one of her hypothesis. There was another flash as magic exploded from her horn and caught the wall, this attempt having much the same effect as the previous in which it turned her magic into a hazard as it bounced around the room.
Yelping, the princess of magic quickly erected a barrier around herself just in time to catch and subsequently assimilate the ricocheting projectile.
“So the inside is magic proof too,” Twilight thought aloud, bringing a light to the top of her horn so she could better assess her surroundings.
The inside was as sparse as the outside, devoid of any sort of amenities that would classify it as a home. She walked along the interior walls, examining each of the surfaces as carefully as she’d done with the outside, only to come to the same conclusion. Next she went about inspecting the floor and the ceilings, her diligence rewarded yet again as she noticed a plate nestled into the floor with a hoof-print etched into the center.
Her mounting curiosity came to a point as she gently eased her hoof into the indentation, becoming surprised (and more than a little disappointed) when — after a tense moment of waiting — nothing happened. Frowning, she attempted to lift her hoof to find that it was stubbornly rooted to the plate. She grunted and pulled even harder, her intrigue turning to slight panic as her hoof still refused to come detached. She gave a few more heroic tugs until she was tired and panting, annoyance building in tandem with the anxiety she felt at being stuck in the dark like she was.
“Great,” she fumed, giving one last tug before a being almost knocked onto her rear as an alien tingle shot through her body. She struggled to reinforce her footing but was hindered further when what looked to be magic began to slowly creep up her rooted hoof toward her core.
Initially, she tried to fight the unknown advance of magic, but she found the more of her body it engulfed, the more relaxed and at peace she felt; and by the time the strange green magic had encased her body completely, she had lost all of her will to fight it and simply let the magic overtake her.
It was almost as though she were in a dream. A virtually weightless body floating through a sky of a million clouds, each one she passed through softer and more relaxing than the last. Then the tingling feeling returned, although this time it was much more pronounced, causing her back to arch sharply as it pervaded her every nerve ending. Finally, an explosion of warmth that temporarily caused her vision to go white exploded from her crotch like a hungry fire. When her vision returned to her, she found herself in the guard’s barracks of Canterlot Castle, a sensuous looking Flash Sentry looming over her seductively.
Without saying a word, he kissed her deeply, evoking a completely raw and utterly ravenous passion from the depths of Twilight’s subconscious. Twilight accepted the gift as though she were starving for it.
His kissing turned more adventurous as he traveled the length of her body, gliding over her stomach and navel, making a beeline for her most private of areas. Twilight cried out in unrestrained need as he teased her at the precipice, all but shoving his head the rest of the way.
The stallion responded to Twilight’s insistence with patience, making his trek past her navel toward her crotch as slow and agonizing as he possibly could. Then, when Twilight was practically dripping with need and pitifully moaning his name, he struck, diving between her hind legs and attacking the swollen lips of her marehood with the same voracity he used on the battlefield.
Twilight was no match for her lover’s onslaught, every hungry lick and gentle suckle clouding her mind, sapping her strength and nudging her that much closer to the edge. However, just as Twilight thought she would be granted the release she’d been craving, the warmth on her folds left, inviting an icy chill to take its place.
Twilight stared, half lidded and bleary eyed into the face of her lover, wondering why he would stop such a lovely and intimate moment, and he stared back at her, looking every bit as handsome and roguish as she remembered.
“Are you ready, my love?” He spoke, his voice a smooth, resonating timbre that Twilight could utterly lose herself in. The princess was hard pressed to vocalize her willingness however, and instead nodded, a desperate moan escaping her slack jaw. Flash said nothing, instead pushing her back onto the bed with his hooves and crawling atop her, their faces meeting in a fevered kiss as he slid himself into her.
Twilight cried out into his mouth as his tongue danced with hers, her hind legs wrapping possessively around his waist as he thrust. There was no need for preparation nor for him to be gentle, he simply worked himself into a rhythm and Twilight shivered as pleasure once again grasped her in its oh so tantalizing clutches.
A few dozen more thrusts was all it took for Twilight to reach a quick but amazing climax, her whole body shivering as she buried her muzzle into his Flash’s neck to muffle her squeal. Flash continued to dutifully thrust despite his princess having just reached her peak, a quick shift of his hips allowing him to drive himself even deeper.
Flash’s quick adjustment served to send Twilight soaring to new heights, the sensations she felt beforehand utterly paling in comparison to the absolutely overwhelming waves of pleasure that tore through her and threatened to throw her over the edge.
Flash himself wasn’t too far off from release, his thrusts beginning to lose their perfect tempo, becoming shorter and more hurried the closer he got to his peak. Twilight hardly minded, though, the feeling of her lover’s shaft stretching her insides and gracing her with such a wonderful full feeling was more than enough to addle her normally sharp mind and shepherd the princess of magic on to her second orgasm of the day.
Twilight cried out and clenched hard around her lover, her marehood spasming wildly around the shaft invading her lips. The sudden increase in suction was all it took to send Flash careening over the edge as well, grunting as he hilted himself inside her and began to himself let loose.
There was a period where neither party moved, each inclined to simply enjoy their respective climaxes and the warmth and love they felt from one another. Then — in what felt like being rudely shocked awake — Twilight was brought back to her senses as her marehood twitched and convulsed, rivulets of fresh feminine juices seeping down her hind legs and into the dirt below.
After having recovered from what felt like her third orgasm now, Twilight whipped her head back and forth in the almost complete darkness, and upon suddenly remembering where she was and what had happened, her attention quickly turned toward the admittedly evil looking coat of magic surrounding her body.
The princess of magic recalled every trick, mantra and piece of advice she’d learned throughout her years of studying the arcane, but for the life of her she couldn’t get her horn to cooperate. The eldritch looking shroud seemed to sense her distress, and moments later she was unceremoniously dropped into the dirt, the sleeve of strange magic disappearing back into the plate as if it were being sucked in.
Twilight struggled to her hooves, stumbling around a bit trying to find her bearings. A second try with her horn graced her with magic once again — magic which she then promptly used to not only get herself some much needed light, but to also systematically probe the inside of the structure in hopes of finding a way out.
She was once again indulged by whatever forces had been pulling the strings thus far and a panel near the opposite end of the room — presumably the same one she’d come in through given the crowd outside — slid open and gave Twilight some much needed light. The princess meandered toward the light and out into the fresh Ponyville air, straightening out her mane some and discreetly magicking the secretions off of her as she emerged.
“Alright, nopony is allowed to go anywhere near this thing until I-” The princess stopped cold as she came to face a crowd in various states of incredulousness. Some were gawking, others had their faces scrunched up into a look that resembled both disgust and contempt, and those with foals were shielding their children’s eyes while they were led away to places their parents deemed more wholesome for children of their age.
Twilight waited for some sort of reaction from the crowd, but even after a tense couple of seconds went by, they still remained equal parts horrified, disgusted and amazed.
“What?” Twilight asked, slightly panicked now. “Do I have something on me? An extra limb or something?” Twilight gave herself a brief but thorough examination, twisting her body in every conceivable direction to check for extra limbs. Once she was confident she had all the limbs she went in with and no new additions, she threw a surreptitious glance toward her hindquarters, and upon finding that too to be clean as a whistle, she turned to face the crowd with an utterly bewildered expression on her face and the same question on her lips.
“...What?” A cappuccino hoof tapped Twilight on the shoulder and she turned to meet the grim looking visage of the town mayor. The mayor said nothing; she simply directed Twilight’s head upward before slinking away almost as if she’d been embarrassed. Twilight took a few steps out from underneath the structure and turned around, following not only the mayor’s direction, but also the awestruck eyes of the townsfolk, and what she witnessed made her blood run like ice in her veins and her heart nearly stop beating in her chest.
There — nestled between two protracted boards — was a larger version of the crystals that made up her lovingly crafted chandelier back in her castle. However, this particular crystal didn’t depict unforgettable experiences or fond memories, it held something far more personal, something far more private and embarrassing; something that, up until this very moment, Twilight believed was between her and whatever higher power watched over ponykind.
The princess stumbled backward into the crowd, the mess of disapproving looks and disgusted scowls closing in around her. Her knees suddenly felt too weak to support her weight and she was having a hard time breathing correctly. Desperation took a firm hold of her and without thinking she lifted herself into the air, tearing off toward her castle home with speed that rivaled Rainbow Dash.
A ways down the road closer to the more rural parts of Ponyville, an excited looking Applejack maneuvered her apple cart toward the busier parts of town, humming absently to herself as she walked. A curious noise drew her attention just then, seeming to grow louder and sharper as it continued. Then out of seemingly nowhere, a mighty gust of wind surged through and knocked her off balance.
Applejack struggled admirably against the force of the wind, barely managing to keep both herself and the cart upright as the powerful gale smashed into her. When she finally steadied herself and her cart and was able to whip her head around to see what it was that had so boorishly knocked her around, she just barely spotted the familiar purple coat and striped tail of one of her most dear friends.
“Twilight?” The mare asked, adjusting her hat on her head. “I wonder why in Equestria she’s in such a hurry.” Applejack took a few moments longer to ponder the odd behavior from her friend before writing it off as “typical Twilight” and continuing on toward the center of town.
