The Shade. A malignant creature made of pure darkness and hatred. They have appeared here, on Equestria. No one knows where it came from, only that they will stop at nothing to take Equestria. Only the power of the four elemental crests, combined with the power of the Elements of Harmony and the Crystal Heart, will defeat the forces of darkness that threaten this beautiful land. There is only one problem: the elemental crests have not been seen for thousands of years. They have been elsewhere. Now due to a force beyond there control, four friends will be destined to save a world they did not think really existed.
