The portal

*BOOM!* It felt like an earthquake and and explosion mix together. It was only 9:37 AM. I was asleep. Until something exploded in the sky. I thought it was a plane. I ran to my window and saw a sonic rainbow passing over my house. Right then, the window shattered. I blocked my face and neck. I had a few glass shards in my leg but that was it. I didn't know if I was dreaming or not. After that something amazed me. Derpy hooves flew through my broken window.

"W-Wha?" I stuttered as my brain caught up to my eyes.

"Hi mister! I have a letter for you!" Derpy exclaimed very happily. "I'll read it out loud! Dear Nick, you may have seen me on what you call TV. We met a couple days ago playing Call Of Duty. I need to tell you something. Its urgent. And only you can save Twilight Sparkle from death. Signed Luna!" She read aloud."It must be an honor having her talk to you."

"What? I-I what-?" I was interrupted by Derpy flying out of the room.

"Remember to go in your backyard!!" She said leaving my room. I thought that was the weird thing. Luckily my parents and siblings are in Florida. I wanted to act as if nothing happened. I poured cereal, at my milk. Wait what? Why was my cereal in my milk jar? Like thats the weirdest thing I've every seen today. I turned on the TV to watch some cartoons and then *BOOM!* another explosion in my backyard. It was almost like the ground crumbled into itself. I ran out there and it was really windy next to it. A portal. I grabbed a rope from my garage and tied it to a tree next to it. I was very hesitant. I was wondering what would be under. Or in. I jumped. My head was the only thing under. The weirdest thing by far happened right now. I saw Canterlot. All the ponies were staring. About five pegasus and about five unicorns tugged on me. Thinking I was stuck in the sky.

   "Don't worry! We got you!" A pegasus said

"No!" I beckoned. But it was too late. The rope snapped. The pegasus took me down to the ground. Suddenly, the portal closed. I knew the only ponies powerful enough to open the portal again were the princess. But first I had to talk to this idiot. "What did you do that for?"

"Saving your life thats what!" He said.

"What am I-" Suddenly a bluish glow went around me and suddenly *Poof!* I was in Luna's room. "W-What?W-Where am I?"

"Greetings Nick, I see you got my letter." Luna said

"It was hard not to ignore my window being shattered, a pony flying through my window, and a portal in my backyard." I mumbled.

"Don't worry! You window will be fixed when you get back! Ponies are working on the damage right now." Luna replied. "I needed to have a sonic rainboom to make sure that you woke up."

"I have like 1,000 questions, but I will sum it up by two. One, I'm a pony know. Aren't I? Two, Whats all this Twilight saving business?" I said

"One, look in this mirror." She replied and omg I was a pretty good looking stallion if I do say so myself."Two, while twilight and spike were walking in the woods by Pony Ville, not the every free forest. They were attacked by a group of changeling. Taking twilight to the hive to 'Incubate' her into a changeling!" Luna said.

"So what am I supposed to do? I'm an average boy.Well, I was..." I Questioned.

"Ahh thats were you are wrong. See we knew Twilight would face some problem. But we didn't know when. We knew that you would be the one to save her about 1,700 years ago. Discord spilled that info. At first we didn't get it, but then we got it about 1,000 years ago." She answered me.

"One more question. Well actually two. One, how did you play COD with me even when I was through dimensions. Two, who is we? I questioned.

"Well, my TV is hooked up to a portal taking the game to the human world. And 'we' is me and Celestia. But she is on vacation. Any more questions." She said with a smirk. "No? Okay good. All you need is in this saddle bag. One other thing. Find Twilights friends. Say I sent you, and if they ask the number code say 3536."

"Uhh ok?" I replied sheepishly. Suddenly *Poof* I was teleported outside with my saddle bag. And a little potion. I knew I would need it later. As I walked up and down the streets I wondered, why me? Why not someone else. Out of 1 million. Me! Then I thought, wait what if mom and dad get home when I'm here. Oh god. I need to make this trip fast. But wait she didn't mention how to get back. Wait, Twilight's portal! OH! I get it know. Wait if twilight becomes a changeling I will never get back without the Princesses help. I turned the corner and saw the train. In the human world I had 50$. I guess now I have 50 bits. Yay. I bought my ticket and boarded the train. Then I realized something, will I get special treatment if I show him I was sent by princess Luna? I walked over to the conductor.

"Excuse me sir but I was sent by princess Luna and she requested me to sit in the special area." I said to the conductor.

"Whats the code?" He said facing away.

"3536." I whispered in his ear.

"So you weren't lying. You get the back of the train to yourself. Well with Derpy Hooves. There is a balcony and Two beds. And room service. Here is the key." He said even  he still wasn't looking at me. I opened the door and walked down the hallway, then put the key in the door and I saw Derpy, looking out the window
