Empire's Find

"Goddammit, nothing's left!" Dom shouted angrily as he surveyed the wreck that used to be Platoon Bantha and Platoon Twi'lek "Not even their heavy armor units are left intact, this... -This shows something!"

"What sir?" Tamaraw asked confused as to what his commander was thinking of.

"They knew to take out the tanks, they knew that those tanks could vaporize one of them in one shot. Either they're learning or someone's leading them..." Dom continued as he pressed the buttons to open up the Star Destroyer's frequency channel.

Chhhht... "This is Platoon Officer Dom, no ones here, they were completely obliterated, over... "Chhhht... he said into the comlink.

"Chhhht... "Oh my God, finally! They're climbing up- Fucking hell, get to the turbo lasers now!" The voice panicked as audible 'thunks' were heard along with screaming and blaster fire "Ugh, send help now! Search is under attack by- "Boom!"Aaaaaaaagh! It's inside, kill it!-" the message ended with static and an ominous moan in the background of screaming.

"Jeez sounds like they're in deep stuff commander" the trooper commented.

"Yeah, no shit Sherlock" Dom said as he shut the comlink off and magnetically attached it to his utility belt. "Get to the walkers, we don't know what happened, but we are going to find out!"

Tamaraw went of to his own squad to tell them, Dom however went to his command AT-AT and spoke to his second in command, which was actually Rill. He had wanted a male, but Rill was the only one who qualified for the job.

"Well Rill, as much as I hate to say it your going to have to lead the ground troops" Dom said in a very gloomy tone.

"Excellent sir, shall I and the troops mount up now?"

"Yeah sure whatever" he grumbled as his well trained back turned into a painful slouch, he really hated her...

She nodded as she took a speeder bike and rode until she reached Tamaraw. "Hey Tamy can you please get the troops ready to saddle up?" she asked.

"Hmm? Yeah, yeah sure" He said as he went back to briefing his men "Hey and don't call me Tamy!"

She giggled as she got onto her speeder and drove of meet her new squad issued by Dom. As she caught sight of them, she instantly smiled, she had been assigned to Squad-42, better known as the 'Universal Cavalrymen'. They rode on Empire commissioned swoops into battle, since the swoops were basically thrusters with a seat on them, they were known as suicide bikes, as hitting a Titan in the leg or foot would disable it for a good five minutes.

"Captain Rill, we are ready to disembark!" A trooper with black stripes running down his helmet reported.

"Hmmm, he promoted me to captain, how nice of Dom" she thought.

"Ah yes, what's your name trooper?" She asked.

"Arkelli, ma'am!"

"Good, mount up and move out!" Rill ordered as her squad traversed across the mile-wide flatlands in minutes. As they neared the Search's coordinates, they couldn't help but notice the lack of, well, life in general. This was a sign to the more experienced members of the division, it meant Titans came through here. For some reason any creature, from the exotic fish of Mon Cal, to the dangerous Wampas of Hoth. All life forms seem to avoid Titans like the plague, as if they have it hard wired into their brains...

"Fifteen-meter class, up ahead!" Arkelli alerted as he unsheathed his vibro-blade.

"All troops, get ready to engage!" Rill added.

"OAAGH!" the Titan moaned as it charged towards the oncoming group of swoop bikes.

"Get ready!" Rill shouted struggling to compete with the engine's roar, "All troops, take flight!"

Every single trooper in the group jumped off of there bikes and activated their jump packs, they zoomed towards the enemy.

"Twenty meters and closing!" Arkelli shouted.

"Fifteen meters!"

"Ten meters!"

"Five meters, engage now!"

Thump!...

"Woah, Spike did you feel that?" Twilight asked as she sipped the second freshly brewed Chai tea she had made today.

"Hmm? Yeah whatever" Spike replied as he went back to eating his favorite cereal, Coco Crystals. Chocolate flavored gems, in a box!

Twilight, feeling that something was wrong, went out of the library to check it out. When she got outside she saw, well nothing, no ponies, just buildings.

"Well that's weird, it's the busiest time of the month, where is everypony? Twilight thought to herself. She immediately got this strange feeling, a primal urge to just seek shelter. It sent a chill up her spine as she heard another thump.

"OAAGH!"

"What the..." She said as her eyes widened and the same eerie moan filled the air once more. Standing right I front of her was a bold creature, no taller than her tree house. It had features similar to the "humans" she had found on earth, except that this one seemed to have no reproductive organs and a wide lipless grin stretched across its face.

"Aaagh!" The creature moaned in delight as it stared at Twilight. It lifted one foot, then clumsily brought down the other one.

Twilight stood there for a second, unsure of what to do, maybe it wanted to be friends?

Its clumsy walk turned into a fast paced stroll, she stood there with a look of horror on her face, as a small black pony crawled onto its foot. Twilight immediately identified the black pony as a changeling... Wait, what!?

She continued to watch in horror as the changeling was grabbed by the larger human-like creature and eaten!

A small black cloud had been forming a short distance from ponyville, that back cloud was better known as a swarm. Thousands of changelings flew together to create one giant mass, and it was headed for the creature.

"Celestia help us..." She muttered as the swarm engulfed the creature entirely, leaving nothing but blood stains on the ground and a very pleased changeling queen..

"Oh, hello Twilight" Chrysalis said" I see you've met Equestria's newest problem, besides me of course!"
