Questions, Questions Everywhere But Not The Ones I Pose
"It is just as I suspect, I am wired incorrect. Must just be a defect of my design..." A red-maned, yellow-coated Unicorn with a speech bubble for a cutie mark spoke to herself in a dimly lit room, paper pinned to the wall and connected to each other via red rope. The Unicorn immediately turned her head around to watch as an empty piece of paper fell from its pin and onto the floor. "Oh, no no! We can't have that! You have to stay up here..." Her horn lit up with an orange sparkle as she levitated the paper back up to where it was, pulled out the pin via her magic, placed the paper back onto the wall and stabbed the pin back into the paper. "It's only a matter of time until I'm no longer sane..." The mare looked around the room, counting each scratch mark upon the walls. "Maybe in the scheme of things, these are all just fever dreams." She turned towards the door out of the room, walked to it, opened it, and stepped outside into a stairway. "I'll start crawling up the walls at some point." The Unicorn started counting the days since she spotted the symptoms of insanity in herself. She looked down at the starts and began to go down them, creaks coming from each step. Her hooves felt cold on the stairs. Evidently they were old. The mare reached the bottom of the stairs and looked around. Burn marks adorned the rooms around her, various pieces of furniture stripped to just their frames, leaving not a trace of what they used to be made of.
"I hear voices screaming inside my head." She shook her head. "I mustn't listen, I'm sure that they want me dead." The mare turned to her right, a mirror hung unbalanced on the wall. The yellow-Unicorn moved towards it, taking note of the various colours she could say floating around her, and multiple animals growling at each other. "Contact with reality is something I no longer need, now that I have insanity on my side."
Alright, Sharp Point, where's that book? The crazed-Unicorn thought to herself, as she began to overturn everything that she could not see under from first sight, in an effort to find the last thing that kept her from completely losing all traces of sanity that she had. Sharp Point then suddenly remembered the sort of, magical lock she had implanted upon the book. The lock was a voice lock, she merely had to speak the unlock-code and the book should appear in front of her upon a wooden lectern. "They don't make a vaccine for what ails me!" As she finished her words, as expected, a large dusty book on top of a quite clean lectern seemingly popped into existence mere centimeters from her face. I don't have a quill or ink. That's... quite annoying. Where will I find some? She darted her eyes towards an old, scratched wooden door around a meter or so from her. Social interaction null and void. A loud, slamming noise came from outside of the door. Was that a bird? Awfully convenient. She happily trotted towards the door, pulled it open, and saw nothing. Now my conscious is lying in a state of disrepose.
It had been several hours since Sharp Point had acquired a feather from a very unwilling bird on the outskirts of the Everfree Forest. I still don't know how nopony noticed, it wasn't the quietest of acts. The Unicorn mare levitated a small switchblade to her hoof and made a small incision, just enough for a bit of blood to start coming out. She let the blood drip down onto the lectern in front of her, and dipped the writing-end of the feather into the blood, using it as impromptu ink. It'll do for now. She flipped open the book to the nearest clean page and began to write.
Allow me to elaborate on my poor mental state, I appear to be completely going to the dark side of the sanity spectrum. Odd how my condition has made me more literate, I've not been able to figure that one out. So far I have found no way of reversing my insanity. I'm doomed to a life of sitting in a small, white room, with a strait jacket on. It's my fate, I can do nothing about it. Nopony prepared me for this, mother and father hadn't expected their only daughter to be a crazy mare. But then again, nopony would, would they? No, no they would not.
"This is the end, my darling, such safety finds us shuddering lambs surrounded by wolves." Sharp Point sang to herself, very off key. "Time is, time is here at last. My sanity is ascending through the cracks in the ceiling..." She began to cackle madly to herself, feeling her consciousness slip into insanity.
The Unicorn mare had found a spell, a spell in which to... alter the mental state of oneself and others. Why this spell exists, she had no clue. She did however, decide to speed up the process of her oncoming insanity. She had looked to see if she could improve her own sanity, but to no avail. The spell was merely to drive the user or a victim to madness. "An ingenious form of torture." she had called it, when she had first read about the evil magic. The Unicorn had taken her time to learn it, so she may use it on herself so she wouldn't have to wait in fear to lose her marbles. Quite an easy way to go about quickening the process, really. Just a quick spell casting and... That's it. You'd have lost it. No suffering, no anxiety... Just one minute you're fine, next minute your parade is off beat.
"All I do now is w-wait for the titan to c-come and bring upon the end of all ponykind! Neha! Nehahahaha!" The now-insane Unicorn mare clapped to herself until her hooves began to hurt, then collapsed onto her side. She had done a lot today. Killing various birds to use their feathers to write things, brought herself to insanity, terrified several young fillies and colts, and even got herself locked in her own room.
Hell, she even managed to become a slave to an all-powerful demon ready to destroy the world in a thousand years, of which had given her immortality, so she may bring upon the demon and revel in its destruction.
Author's Note
Can we focus on the crazy titan? I want to know more about that titan.
