Micheal Schmidt ran past the security camera and hid behind the wall behind it. His heart should be pumping, but it simply wasn't. Since he was dead, that was probably normal. Whatever was left of him and his emotions was focused on one thing! Get to the office before 6AM! He's been trying to do that for 4 days straight, without succeeding. But tonight he would reach that place and get the sense of thrill and excitement he hadn't felt for 30 years.
"Hello"
Mike turned towards the noise. It seemed to be coming from the other room. He had been hearing noises like this all week, all while trying to get to the office, but he had never found the source. It annoyingly reminded him of his previous job as the material supervisor and orientation employee at...... That place. The place that this hellhole desperately tries to emulate.
He was snapped out of his thoughts by an alarm coming from two rooms across. Bingo: he found his target. He moved towards the noise, crouching low to keep as quiet as possible. Finally finding the room he was looking for, he peeked around the corner and saw what he was looking for: a victim.
This particular one was sitting on a swivel chair. He was fat and wearing a night guard uniform not unlike the one worn by those two rookies Mike had to orient several years ago.
Wondering if he was ever that fat, Mike noticed that the victim wasn't paying attention to him. He was too busy staring at a computer screen, who was emanating some beeping noises every once in a while. Seeing this as his time to strike, Mike crept up the the unsuspecting night guard.
He put his metallic greenish hand on the monitor and yanked it away. The guard was startled and confused, but instantly started screaming as his attacker reached for his throat. Mike felt the excitement fill up his insides as he reenacted the pleasurable activity he had done countless times in the past.
He slowly started tightening his grip, savoring every breath his victim of wasted trying to free himself. But, suddenly, he started to loosen his grasp. He felt like he didn't want to kill the person in front of him.....no, HE wanted to, but his body disagreed. He tried to take back control, but he finally let got of the victim, who pulled himself away, panting.
With bloodshot eyes, Lucas Fischbach looked at his attacker. He had been seeing him on the computer screen for 4 days, along with......other stuff. We could now see the figure completely, with no static between them. He was completely metallic, except for a few holes in his suit where you could make out rotting flesh and bones. The sickly green of decay overshadowed the happy, golden color it was supposed to have and the calm, jolly nature of the bunny it represented was lost to death and decay. The only signs of life were the eyes, who were sparkling with the aftermath of sadistic pleasure and.....confusion?
Mike stared at the fat man in front of him, trying to figure out what happened. This was supposed to be HIS body: why couldn't he control it. The presence he felt while losing control slipped away and he was left alone: alone to strike. Feeling his freedom return, he lunged at the security guard again, screaming.
Lucas knew what he had to do. Remembering what his employer told him his second night on the job, he dodged the attacker, while pulling a small metallic object out of his pocket. He opened the tiny box and put his thumb on a small lever next to a hole on the top of it. It clicked a few times before emanating one solitary flame.
Mike now faced this guard, who looked scared but determined to take his predator down with him. He was holding what was unmistakably a lighter in his hand, both bloodshot eyes glued to Mike. Desperate, he attacked one more time. But, Lucas was ready. Narrowly dodging the flailing animatronic, he managed to lodge the lighter in one of the holes in his attacker's chest.
Mike hit the wall, cursing in his mind. Why couldn't the just stand still when he wanted to kill them? Getting up, he noticed the happy expression on the guard's face. He was staring at Mike's chest, from which he could feel a strange prickling feeling. He looked down, instantly noticing the flames spewing out of the gaping hole in his chest. He looked back at Lucas, who's expression quickly changed to horror.
Lucas looked into the animatronic's eyes, seeing the crazy sadistic expression get flushed away, replaced by rage and pure anger. Knowing what would happen if he stayed, he ran towards the exit. Knowing the monster would follow him, he didn't look back and just focused on one goal in particular: Getting out. While he ran, he thought he could see shadows lurking around out of the corners of his eyes, but he didn't take much notice. He just kept running until he got outside. Shutting the door, he could have sworn he heard a big CLUNK noise on the other side.
Mike cursed, this time out loud, but with his missing vocal chords, it ended up sounding like some kind of gurgle noise. Looking back down at his flaming chest, he realized that, if his body was burned, he wouldn't come back. Knowing that this was truely the end, he closed his eyes, slumping down next to a wood pillar, waiting for his eternal demise. The burning feeling getting greater, he hardly noticed 6 decaying shadowy figures crowding around him. The last thing he heard, as the inferno crept up his torso to his neck and head, filling his vision with red, was a chime, somewhere, indacating it was 6AM, the time he would regularly stop hunting.
He finally slipped away from his body, feeling himself float around in nothingness. He slipped away from the physical world, not feeling, not hearing, not seeing. Just the burning feeling inside him, which was even getting smaller and smaller until it was no more. He felt calm, collected. He felt peaceful.
.........Then, Springtrap woke up.
