Rainbow Dash had heard the news. She knew that her favorite author had published a new story. That was precisely why she had camped out at the bookstore for three hours, just to get inside and grab the very first copy before anypony else could get to it.

And now, the salespony was approaching the door.

He was lifting his hoof.

He flipped the "Closed" sign to "Open."

He put on a helmet.

And he unlocked the door.

Rainbow instantly rushed past him, a blur of colors as she instantly galloped past him, shoving him away in her frantic hurry to get to the "Popular Stories" section of the store. The cyan pony ran with unmatched speed, her hooves thundering against the ground as she hunted like a lion hunts a gazelle. She was almost there. Her Daring Doo book was right around the corner!

The rainbow-maned pegasus, once at a full gait, dug in her hooves in order to skid to a stop. Her eyes widened in shock at the book that she saw before her.

Instead of the determined face of Daring Doo, Rainbow Dash was met with the snarling muzzle of A.K. Yearling. She was mid-scream, with her hooves thrown up into the air.

The title? "A.K. Yearling's Writer's Block."

Rainbow Dash though she might faint.
