I'm Sorry

A little filly walked over to two grave stones in a small section of the orchard. She walked slowly as if trying to slow down time like she had been dreading this. In her mouth two red roses with black ribbon tied around the steams
She looked at the grave stones looking at the words engraved on them sadly
RIP: Autumn Gold Apple Loving Son and Father
RIP: Orange Bloom Apple Loving Daughter and Mother
the filly looked at the graves sadly taking off a hat that was a little too big for her out of respect
"Hey Ma...Pa...It's me Applejack" she said sadly
She sat down in front of the graves looking a little nervous.
"Sorry I was gone for abit I went to stay with Aunt and Uncle Orange in Manehatten but I came home when I realized I missed Granny and Big Mac" AJ said "Oh and I got my cutie mark too I'm going to start helping Big Mac since Granny needs to take care of Applebloom she's gotten so big"
She talked to the grave stones as if they were listening but there was nothing not even the chirping of birds just silence
AJ looked down sadly not wanting to really say that she had really left because she wanted to get away from the memories.
AJ was walking around a barn with an angry and jealous look walking by the lantern that she had brought with her.
"oh look at her isn't she so cute" AJ said in a sarcastically.
She just walked around upset and continued with her rant
"It ain't fair I was first but now that Applebloom is around Ma and Pa are paying more attention to her and not me I hate her!" AJ said not seeing where she had kicked
She heard the sound of glass breaking and looked over with fear on her face seeing fire beginning to take form.
AJ froze in fear and tried to put it out but the fire but it kept growing faster than she could put it out.
she looked for the door but the smoke blocked her vision and she started to cough as it start to fill her lungs
"PA! MA! BIG MAC GRANNY HELP ME I'M SCARED I'M IN HERE!" AJ called coughing her eyes beginning to hurt
"Applejack! Applejack!" a male voice called
"we're here sugar cube keep calling!" a female voice called
AJ hearing her parents voices cried alittle
"Ma Pa I'm here!" she called seeing her father and mother coming over
Her father Autumn had her coat color and red mane color like baby Applebloom the same with his eye color on his head was a Stenson hat on his head his cutie mark was that of a barrel full of apples of red and green
Her mother Orange Bloom color was the same as Big Mac but she had her's and Big Mac's eye color and her hair color tied into a long braid her cutie mark was an orange blossom flower inside a large heart.
"we gotcha baby doll" her father said picking her up covering her mouth with his hat as they headed for the barn entrance as the three heard the sound of cracking looking up seeing the barn roof coming down on them
later AJ woke up in an hospital bed looking up at the ceiling her body wrapped in bandages and saw her brother next to her it looked like he was crying which had confused her.
"Big Mac what's wrong?" AJ asked
Big Mac hearing his sister's voice went to her and hugged her.
AJ was even more confused as she looked around not seeing their parents
"Where's Ma and Pa?" she asked as Big Mac started to crying alittle harder.
AJ began to shed some tears Big Mac told her about his when the barn collapsed their parents had covered her with their bodies to protect her how the fire ponies found her under them and how they had passed before they had gotten the three of them to the hospital.
It was her fault though Big Mac and Granny had assured her it wasn't knew better.
Just before she had left to go to the barn to vent her parents asked her if she was ok and she lied to them.
AJ looked at the grave stones and started to cry her tears falling
"I'm so sorry I don't know if ya hear me but I'm so sorry Ma...Pa... and that's the honest truth" Aj said crying
Just then a gentle wind blew lightly drying AJ's tears.
AJ looked up smiling her parents had given her an answer
"I promise from now on I'll always be honest" she said smiling putting on her Pa's hat and began to leave
"I'll see you later Ma Pa I love ya and I miss you" she said as she started walking back to the farm on the graves the two roses laid as the wind blew as two ponies watched the filly leave.
"We love you too AJ." they said smiling as they disappeared with the setting sun.
AJ walked into the house seeing a baby Applebloom in her cradle crying
"hey there Sugar cube its ok Big Sister's here and she always will be" she said picking her baby sister up smiling
Years later AJ stood infront of her parents graves
"Ma Pa I got good news Applebloom earned her cutie mark today I know if ya'll were here you be so happy for her" AJ said crying
"AJ" Applebloom's voice came as she went to her sister looking at the graves
"The party is starting soon" she said
"I'll be right there I was telling Ma and Pa about your cutie mark I think their happy for you" AJ said
Applebloom looked at her sister and smiled
"And I think there happy that you were there for me" Applebloom said
AJ smiled hugging her sister.
