Even a world of magic isn't perfect.
Any kingdom, empire, country and world has something wrong with them on a fundamental level. It's in the pursuit of fixing this wrongness that progress is made to better everything. If those worlds, countries, empires and kingdoms simply accept the wrongness as a necessary part of existing, that's where mistakes are made. Kingdoms fall, empires shatter the world burns and countries fall into disarray. The truth of the matter that I'm trying to convey is that nothing is perfect, not even magical countries of near absolute power.
When I first arrived here, I would have instantly agreed, as I was instantly subjected to cruelties that I had only heard about in boring history classes. But after my long, painful journey I've come to realize something. The more you want, the more you have to pay for it. I have also come to realize something else, that even in this dystopia of hate, discrimination and fear, we still wouldn't have gotten very far if people were just as loathe to kill as they were to die. It is for this reason I try not to do either.
My quest has been hard, it's been long, but I hope it'll be worth it in the end. It is my dream to change this country into what it thinks it is. It is my dream to make a country, where all anyone has to do is lay down, and take a nice, long afternoon nap.
