Applejack Goes Apple Bucking
Applebloom yawned softly, stretching out her little hooves before wrapping her blanket tighter around herself. She had set up a mattress in the clubhouse, and though she was colder than an ice cream cone, she was having a more pleasant sleep than her brother right now.
Big Mac whinnied in pain, pulling his hooves down on his ears. If he couldn't block out the sound of his sister's snoring, might as well rip his ears off. It was one of those mornings that would be difficult for anybody who decided to wake up in the room next to Applejack's. And sadly, for Big Mac that was his room.
In the next room over, Applejack laid sprawled out on the bed, kicking one leg out like a dog. Her large stomach rose and fell as she took snored, taking in deep breaths and letting out loud shrill whinnies. Hearing the rooster on the roof start to crow, she slowly opened her eyes.
Yawning, she hoisted herself off of the bed onto the floor, causing everything to jump a couple feet off the ground. Including Big Macintosh in the next room over, who had been flung off of his bed, landing in a pile of bed sheets and pillows.
Scratching her chest, she trotted over to her mirror, and proceeded to comb her mane. Applejack hummed a little song as she continued to tie her mane into a ponytail, fixing her mother's old hat onto the back of her head. Wiping dry drool off of her chubby cheek, she trotted out of her room, satisfied with her morning routine.
"Good mornin' Macintosh, sleep well?" She smiled, watching Big Mac stagger out of his room as she trotted towards the stairs.
Shaking his head, he fell onto his face, "Eeenope." He grumbled.
Applejack proceeded to bound down the stairs, shaking the house with every step. Her weight caused the planks to snap, and she was just lucky she got to the bottom before she could fall through the wood. Big Mac on the other hand wasn't so lucky, as he already tumbled down into the massive holes and down to the foundation of the house.
"Mornin' Granny," Applejack said, trotting into the kitchen, finding the table already set with a couple plates of blueberry pancakes and apple slices.
"Good morning, Applejack," She smiled, poking at the eggs sizzling on the pan with a spatula. "You better eat up, you'll need all that strength for apple bucking today. Those trees we planted a while back finally grew apples, and trust me, there are a lot of apples,"
She nodded, "I better get to eating then," She said, before proceeding to bury her muzzle into the stack of pancakes. The maple syrup and butter seemed to explode in her mouth with each bite she took, the blueberry juice managing to turn her tongue a little blue. Once the pancakes and apple slices were gone, to licked her plate clean till it was as shiny as a brand new penny. "Well, I'm off, see ya later Granny," Fixing her hat, Applejack trotted out the door and into the fields.
Granny Smith watched her granddaughter leave, she turned to see Big Mac stagger in, all dusty and bruised. "You alright, Big Mac?" She asked.
He shook his head as he sat at the breakfast table, dropping his face into the plate of pancakes. "Nope."

Applejack hummed under her breath as she trotted down the fields, till she reached an particular acre of land which much younger trees. Despite how small they were compared to the rest of the orchard, the leaves were completely hidden by bright red apples. It was a wonder how the tree didn't snap under all those apples. Standing in front of one particular tree, she got herself ready.
She stretched out her hind legs and cracked her neck. Taking a couple steps back, she spun around till her back was facing the tree and stuck out her legs. However, her hooves never met bark, and her front hooves were too weak too hold herself up and she ended up doing a little flip. She landed on her back with a loud thump.
Wriggling around until she got to her hooves, Applejack wiped sweat off of her forehead. "Oh boy, this is gonna be a blast..." She muttered under her breath, before running towards the tree, ready for her head to meet with bark.

"How long as she been at this for?" Sweetie Belle asked, turning her head towards Applebloom for a moment.
"Since this morning." Applebloom said, the three crusaders watching Applejack in the distance. The mare had been thrashing her legs about and running her head into the trees for hours now, and failed to knock a single apple off of those trees. She had even tried reaching for them with her hoof, and failed miserably at even tapping an apple.
"Think she'll ever get an apple down from there?" Sweetie wondered.
"I think we're about to find out..." Scootaloo said, as Applebloom proceeded to shimmy up the tree. She proceeded to bend the tree until it snapped under her weight, and fell down onto the apples she had been working so hard on getting down for the past few hours. As she landed on the fruit, they turned into a chunky, gooey mess of apple remains. She sniffed the goo coating her hoof and hesitantly licked it. Eyes going wide, she proceeded to lick the apple remains off her like it was applesauce, acting like a dog.
"Well, as least she got the apples down in pieces," Applebloom smiled nervously. The three all shared an awkward laugh, quickly going back into the club as watching a grown mare lick apple juices off of herself quickly became disturbing.
