Chapters Hi, my name is David. I work in Warsaw as an engineer in one of technology companies. I live in nearby city in a flat on second floor. I have high paid job which i can afford to pay rent, taxes, food etc. My favourite thing in my spare time was watching playing computer games and watching MLP show.
My apartment has about 240 square feet of area. It's quite big for a single person I think. Most time I spend is on watching news or scientific programs on TV or playing computer games. I have also a small office, bathroom, bedroom and kitchen, but it's fine for me. The biggest room I have is living room with TV combined with dining room and kitchen. But the most weird thing I will regret for eternity is a piece of my home equipment: the double-decked couch. Do you want to sit on top or bottom couch? I'll never forget.
About twenty minutes after I came back home, about 5 PM I felt my stomach grumbling. I forgot to take my lunch to work. Again.
But I was prepared in case of that situation. I took a pack of cheese pierogi from fridge. Meanwhile the pot was filling up with water. Then I put that pot on cooker to heat up water.
Three minutes passed until I heard something weird. I couldn't recognize source of noise.

"What it could be?" I asked to myself. "A clock? Nah, I have only digital ones."
*click*
"And where is coming from?"
*ping*
Then suddenly in front of me red portal thingy appeared making loud groan. It was high enough to only to walk sneaking. Next thing I heard was voices. Feminine voices.
"Are you sure this is safe?" One girl asked.
"I'm not completely sure... But hope this portal works." Another one answered.
I wanted to pass over dishwasher but portal was too wide to pass.
"A portal? Huh, weird, but also interesting." I said to myself. "I wonder what it could be on the other side."
I entered straight to portal.
First what I felt was my body was moving against my will. I couldn't move nor speak, but felt something like I was forced to move on my legs and arms. Then my legs shortened, my ears moved almost to my hair which grew almost fifteen times as I normally have. My muscles around tail bone was able to move like others. Dark blue fur grew everywhere. I was even gifted tail which was similar to my hair. Last step was a strange force that gave me a cutie mark on my butt. It looked like a quantum CPU. Then something cone-shaped grew in front of my forehead.
"Girls, move out and get down!" The second voice feminine shouted. "It's about to explode!"
I felt something pushing me out of the chamber I was stuck for a while with great force. At the same time I was pushed out I saw portal exploding. I hit the wall and fell to the floor. "Gah, so painful..." I thought.
"Is he alive?" One girl asked.
"Lemme check-" I heard the... hoofsteps? I'm not sure because I can't move. "Yep, he's alive."
"Take him to hospital. I think he needs medical attention." Hospital? NOT THE NEEDLES!
After this thought I was out.
Some time later I woke up in a bit hard bed. And it was blinding light in the room. I also heard some machine beeping in same time as my heart beat (wherever I have that heart). Is it a hospital? Yes, it is. Which room? I don't care. My task? Just get out of this hell.
I was trying to move my fingers. I felt nothing moving. I checked my hand (or limb). No fingers. Checked second one. Also no fingers.
This cannot happen.
I checked legs. No fingers either.
Wait, I have a fur? Check. Cutie mark? Check. I realized what happened.
I was stuck in cartoon. And transformed to pony. Great.
"Dammit, dammit, DAMMIT!"
"How long it will take until we can talk to him?" The girl asked.
"He has only minor damages. I think you may talk to hi-" Doctor said until he was interrupted. Dammit! "-him now."
A moment later I heard door opening. First, a magenta alicorn entered the room, later cyan pegasus with rainbow tail and mane, orange earth pony with hat, another earth pony, but now pink with messy mane and tail, white unicorn with fancy curly violet mane and yellow pegasus with pink mane. I recognized them. It was Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Fluttershy.
{"Errrm, hello?"}
I said in my native language. No response from ponies. Just confused faces from them.
"Iiiiis he OK?"
"I don't know. He came from that portal, don't you remember?" Oh, I forgot. They don't speak Polish.
"What portal? The red one?" I asked in English.
"You speak Equestrian?"
"What Equestrian? I speak English now."
"No, it's Equestrian!"
"Maybe it's a coincidence."
"Yeah. Maybe."
"Speaking of, did I get here through that red portal?"
"Yes, is something wrong?"
"That explains why I'm a pony instead of human."
Then I heard doors opening again.
"Did somepony said 'human'?" Light blue unicorn from doors asked grinning. Ah, it's Lyra Heartstrings.
"Not now, Lyra. Maybe later."
Her grin disappeared and closed the door. Rest of ponies were surprised.
"How did ya know her name?"
Twilight started to scribble on parchment she spawned a second ago.
"I know names of most ponies living in Ponyville and some of them in other cities. You don't have to present to me but i will do. My name is Cutting Chipset."
"Nice to meet you, darling."
"Ah see you have own cutie mark. Would you tell me how did ya get this?"
"Sure. My talent is in programming many kinds of machines and I found my destiny when I was a teenager."
Twilight stopped scribbling.
"Programming? Is it another kind of magic? If it is, I'm pleased to learn this kind of magic with you!"
"It is sort of, but we have some difficulties."
"What difficulties?"
"I'm not sure you have sufficient technology to show it but I hope I could find a replacement for this."
I heard someone knocking to the door.
The Mayor Pony entered the room.
"Good morning, I heard you finally woke up."
"Good morning, I see I need to fill some paperwork, right?"
"How did you know?"
"A case?"
"Oh, right. You just need to fill papers which I have taken before because you may not know how to use magic."
"Let's see." I looked at piece of paper. "I wish bureaucracy in Poland was as simple as here. "Ummm... I cannot fill those papers because I can't write Equestrian."
"I can help with this!"
"Fine. So, what first?"
"Name."
"Cutting Chipset."
"Date of birth?"
"5th July 1978."
"I think we have bigger problems than I expected."

"I think we have bigger problems than I expected."
"What do you mean?"
"Another alphabet, different calendar system, what else?"
"I don't know how to use magic or my hooves properly."
"How you don't know how to even trot?"
"Maybe because I wasn't quadrupedal creature like you?"
"So, what about some training when you'll be signed out from hospital?"
"I don't know... But it's not my type."
Another knock came from the door.
"Come in!"
A white earth pony appeared in front of doors. Her cutie mark is red cross with pink hearts around it.
"Hello, Mr..."
"Mr. Chipset."
"Yes... My name is Nurse Redheart. From data what we gathered your power from your horn is much greater than most unicorns."
"So, what does it mean?"
"You can cast most spells with ease. Even if you target multiple objects."
I felt excited when I heard about my power, but also confused about their actions.
"Wait, did you test me while I was unconscious and against my will?!"
"But it was for your good. You casted random spells while you were here. Hey, what's this?"
She pointed at me where random numbers were floating around my horn. I looked at those numbers.
"Sorry, I didn't pay attention. Please, continue."
I disabled the spell which I haven't even noticed earlier.
"Because your kind of magic somehow cannot be countered, we'll need somepony to help controlling your magic."
"Magic seals don't work on me?"
"I'm afraid not."
"I think I can take care of him. Also, I'll teach him our language."
"That's very kind of you. By the ways, Mayor, can we leave some places blank?"
"Of course, you can fill those papers later. But they can help you when finding a work or something."
"Miss Sparkle, could you sign this document for him?"
"Why not me?-" I asked. "-If doesn't contain other data to fill..."
"It does."
"Oh, nevermind."
"See you soon in my castle!"
Twilight signed document the Nurse held in her mouth and left with other girls and left me alone.
Few minutes later I was taken on a wheelchair where I passed long white hallway and sent me to yard before doctors told me to get off from it. I said goodbye to them and waved. Later I went to walk through town passing by various houses and shops which were colorful. Much more than in my neighborhood. The most interesting building I passed was a round fancy decorated two-story house. I bet Rarity is here. I could visit her, but I had to visit Twilight first. Maybe later. Some time later I went to Twilight's castle which I saw from second side of town.
After some hesitation I knocked at massive door which is made of solid shiny metal. I bet it's made of gold or brass. After some time I saw Twilight opening that door.
"Oh, hello Chipset. How are you?"
"Hi, I'm fine but a bit hungry, actually."
"You came just in time. Come in. Feel yourself like in home."
I was suprised to see her crystal castle on my eyes. It's so wonderful. And expensive. A massive round hall was mostly made from huge amethysts. There were also rubies, emeralds, sapphires and few gemstones I can't recognize. There were also tall windows with stained glass. Each color of windows was different. I saw: Applejack talking about her Honesty Element, Pinkie Pie inflating her Laughter Element, Rarity giving her Generosity Element aside with other gemstones, Fluttershy taking care of her Kindness Element, Rainbow Dash holding her Loyalty Element on her neck and Twilight with her Magic Element floating above her head.
I wonder how much it could be worth. Maybe billions, if not trillions of dollars. When I started thinking about it, in front of my horn tons of letters and numbers flew around hall. Being focused on counting and similar stuff I didn't react to outside. Again.
"Chipset? Earth to Chipset, are you here?" I shook my head.
"Yeah, yeah. Is something happening?"
"Follow me."
After few minutes (I think) of walking around castle through long corridors made of crystals and passing by few rooms, we went to small dining room which was a bit bigger than living room in my apartment. There was a wooden round table and six chairs around it which three of them were prepared to eat. Even meal was already served.
I noticed violet dragon with green scales along his head, body and tail whose was about half of Twilight's size.
"Oh, hello Spike."
"Uh, hi. Who are you?"
"My name's Cutting Chipset. Call me Chip or Chipset if you want to. I thought Twilight said about me while I was outside."
"The thing is..." Twilight gave a side glance of disappointment to him. "...I forgot."
"I see. Let's get to eat 'cause I think I'm starving."
On the table was a large bowl of salad, some grilled vegetables and cookies. On each prepared seat was a plate and cutlery on each side. There were also glasses already filled with sparkling apple juice. But I doubt that there is apple juice.
During lunch which was about forty minutes long we were asking questions about each other. Mostly I was asked about my land, politics and few stuff which I can't remember or wasn't important to me. Then they asked me about one important thing.
"When we first met while you was in hospital you said something in strange language. Remember?" I thought about it for a while.
"Aaaaah, right. It was in my native language."
"Errr, why is it strange like you said, Twi?"
"You'll see. Chipset, can you tell us about your past in short in your language?"
I sighed. "Fine."
{"While I was twenty-four, my parents died during car crash because some idiot drove with very high speed right at them, three days before my graduating. I worked as engineer with highly-paid salary and had great apartment until someone from you made a portal and I'm stuck in goddamn Equestria in body which I am!"} "I- I wish I could safely go back home." I began to sob while Twilight looked at me with compassion and later hugged me.
"I think it's not time for crying for your past." After these words this tune appeared in my mind.
"You're right. It's not time. My destiny does not stand here. My destiny is to help others in easier life through technology!"
"But how do you want to help us if you don't know how magic here works?"
"In our world there is no such thing like magic. We used technology to live fair enough to survive through centuries." I said with a grin. "But magic might be useful."
After lunch I went with Twilight to her library. This was also huge, but not that as much as hall. Of course, there are shelves and piles of books with labels here.
Wait, is there a statue of somepony made of books? I've taken a closer look. Nope, it's not a statue or something. Just pile of unsorted books which Twilight might used.
"Chip, what are you doing there?"
"I thought there is a statue made of books."
"Okay then, first lesson of all unicorns. The levi-"
"Yeah, yeah, I get it. I need to imagine I'm moving the item and channel it."
"How did you know that?"
"'Cause I used magic during lunch maybe?"
"I haven't seen this."
"Me neither." I took one of the books which were floating towards Twilight. "Huh, materialization spell. Sounds interesting."

"Yes, it sounds interesting. Wait, what?"
I lighted my horn. I thought about something simple, just for a watch.
"Chipset, get away from this book! This book contains dangerous spells to you!"
It was too late.
I felt pain in my forehead but still no light from my horn. I tried to focus on watch I wanted so much. The strength of pain was increasing with each second passed. When I felt I could faint anytime, then suddenly part of pain has gone, something blinked on my right forehoof and... I've got my watch I wanted to. But I couldn't stand on my hooves because of my significant power shortage. I fell on the floor.
{"Mother, I made cookies for you. I modified your recipe a bit but I hope you still like it! Yes, there are nuts inside!"} I babbled these and some other random sentences while Twilight was looking at me with her jaw dropped.
About minute later I stood up and shook my head while Twilight was still staring at me with disbelief.
"Uh, what happened?"
"Thank Celestia, you're all right?"
"I think so." She looked at me with a bit of anger.
" Is it normal to feel pain while casting a spell?"
"Chipset, what have you done? you don't know what it could happen! You need to take this seriously!
"Just wanted to have a watch. But I also noticed something suspicious."
"What is it?"
"Still no light from my horn."
"I noticed that. I'll check what I can do."
"I doubt that you can help it. I need to see by myself. But, how?"
My heavy thoughts resulted appearing a large hologram screen from my horn in front of me. Tons of lines of code blinked and scrolled in front of us. I could barely notice something but few sentences which moved slowly at start:

The login screen disappeared leaving only a blinking cursor which is just waiting for typing a command. But there's something missing. But I don't know what. From everything I noticed system has read almost all necessary files. Almost.
"Something wrong?"
"The best case I suspect is config file modified by somepony, worst one is system being corrupted. But I need further investigation."
"What do you want to do?"
"Let's see what I can do, at least."
I wanted to type something realizing that I don't have any keyboard. I felt confused having no idea to input there. I sat on the ground thinking about how to write on console .
"Did you try imagining writing on console?"
Urgh, this was so obvious. Why didn't I get to this idea? I facehoofed. I typed on console 'help' command. What was the result? It showed up a massive list of available commands I couldn't show up on one page.
"Yeah, you're right."
"Since you aren't from here maybe system has any knowledge about you?"
"I doubt that but it's worth giving a shot." I wrote a command.

"Uh, what those 'null' mean?"
"Those are missing data that require filling."
"I see. And why there are so big numbers at bottom?"
I looked at IO section. I noticed quickly one important thing. How I could send more magic than capacity of my horn? It was impossible until I realized that data could go under compression.
"Oh, that's explains why I almost fainted. Well, let's fill those data up!"
"You should rest now."
"Don't worry, I'm fine."
"How I could not to worry? First, you appeared out of nowhere, hit a wall so hard, then cast random spells while you was unconscious, then summoned a watch fainting and babbling and you say not to worry?! " She shouted with fury so loud that Spike could hear this from opposite corner of castle. "You're kidding me, right?"
"Fine, you won. I'll go to bed." I dimmed the console.
When I came to my new temporary bedroom which looked like my bedroom on Earth, except it was made of crystals, and after making sure Twilight won't pass nearby, I lighted up console.
I was trying using many available commands to get as much data about Equestria, EquOS, the species, knowledge and other stuff i didn't mention. But one thing was still wondering me: How the magic exactly works in here? Despite all collected data, I couldn't get this.
Suddenly, I found one program I haven't used that yet. That command was looking suspicious for me, so I wanted to use it as last one. I typed a command carefully pressing Enter button.

The result wasn't what I expected. Totally. How a such program like this will require an additional password from an admin? Maybe it's a command giving powers greater than anyone could think of? Or maybe it's a cursed command which after executing this will spread disaster across Equestria and nopony will be able to face this? Maybe it's not a good time to think about it, especially after few hours of hard work in secret from Twilight. It's almost midnight and I feel tired. I'm gonna log out and go to sleep.
The next morning some time after sunrise I woke up hearing birds from the distance. Their songs were so beatutiful that I wanted to get up from my bed, but something was keeping my body lying. No, it's not a bed. It's a thought that reminds me of ever-wanted peace and posibility to sleep as long as I wished. I sneezed some more time until I heard door opening. Despite the size of doors which could be twice as tall as I was as a human they were moving very quiet.
"Hello, Chipset."
I turned my head towards her and slowly opened my eyes.
"Hello."
"How was the night?"
"Ugh, a bit rough at the beginning, but fine."
"You might be hungry, right?"
"Yeah. So, what's for breakfast?"
"You'll see."
I've gotten up from my bed and headed towards bathroom (How could I look gross in front of my roommates, huh?) brusing my teeth which looked similar to human ones, tail, mane and coat. After short shower and toweling I went down to dining room.
The dining room was almost empty except a little piece of paper with something written on it.
Come down to hall if you want something to eat.
"Another joke?" I muttered. "Who's idea was this?"
After few minutes of wandering in castle to find a hall I finally got there. The doors were shut, but not locked. I opened the door and went inside where is suspiciously dark here.
"Uh, hello? Anypony there?"
Then all lamps (or whatever were those) were light up.
"WELCOME TO PONYVILLE, CHIPSET!" All ponies whose met me before shouted in unison. I took a step back from noise they made.
"Gaah, you almost scared me to death. What the hell is happening?"
"It's your super duper 'Welcome to Ponyville' party, you silly."
In the hall there were many ponies chatting to each other, eating various treats they brought. On the right side there were stalls where ponies took what they wanted to eat. On outside of castle there were many attractions including balloon pop, can tossing and cider stall. The biggest attraction was a pony-like mascot hung on a tree filled with something I cannot recognize.
"Ooh, ooh, I forgot to tell you are also celebrating 'Cutie Mark Piñacera'." I heard from Pinkie later shouting to ponies:
"Everypony, Chipset is going to break a piñata!" And she tied my eyes pushing me away from mascot and twisting me few times.
I felt confused from this while I tried to swing with bat that Pinkie gave me to my mouth with no result. Then I came to idea to take it using magic. I swung the bat few times more slowly coming towards mascot. I didn't hear crack from piñata.
"Well, let's try to do it in my style."
I opened the console, writing a script that disables damage dealt to ponies or objects except piñatas in any way. I saved it and executed. Then I spawned my favourite gun in front of me: Negev. I lifted up the gun and pointed at mascot.
I pulled the trigger.
*TRRRRRRRRRRRR*
That's what I heard besides dropping dozens of brass bullets from right side of gun. I released that trigger and and took a band from my eyes. Everypony was shocked, scared or suprised. The piñata was heavily damaged and was bleeding with candy. After some hesitation I realized what have I done.
"Oh crap."
Three weeks passed since unsuccessful party. From this time I tried to avoid contact with any sort of ranged weaponry to not scare anypony anymore. Twilight taught me about their culture and magic, and I taught her about our technology. She was most interested while I was talking about transportation and electronics.
We both were showing what were we talked about in practice. While Twi was showing how magic here works, I showed her our machines part to part, physics laws, various substances, our wildlife, and even example code in Java on my screen. She enjoyed it so much.
As time passes, the rumors about me being some kind of alien became louder and louder. Besides that I still gave lessons to ponies whose aren't busy with work. The pattern of lessons was simple: ponies voted for category they would like to hear about from list I gave them, and topic of those lessons was chosen by majority. The average time of those lessons was between one and two hours. In rare occasions, especially human anatomy it was almost four hours long.
Most of those listeners were ponies whose they are or were in university. Twilight was one of them but due to her princess duties she wasn't very often. Instead of her I saw Lyra who saw me first time in hospital. I must say, she was very active, especially during anatomy lessons.
One day, it was nearly before my lessons until I heard a sound of notification. It was not what I expected when I opened notification box.

"So, you want me to an audience? 'Kay." I accepted teleport request.
With a blink of eye the view instantly changed. I was looking at the doorknob attached to large wooden doors with golden ornaments.
"Damn, it is very accurate." I said to myself.
"I hope we don't disturb with your considerations."
I turned around to see Princesses Celestia and Luna. Two alicorns, one taller, one shorter. One with sun on her flanks, one with moon. They rule Equestia with their powers to move sun and moon and wisdom they gained through centuries. The rulers of land are friendly to their inhabitants, but when it comes to exeption, they are determined.
I came closer to princesses to be about seven feet away from them, then bowed.
"I am engineer Cutting Chipset. Nice to meet you personally."
"Me too. I am Princess Celestia, and this is my sister, Princess Luna."
"I'm wondering why you brought me."
"We have to ask you few questions regarding the place you come from."
"I'm listening."
"First, how you, humans and your planet looks?"
I turned my screen on to show princesses how the planet Earth looks. I also showed most popular species on my planet, including ourselves.
"From what I know, people tend to be greedy and egoistic. We need to prepare ourselves until they do this."
I changed screen to city somewhere in China with many skyscrapers with crowded streets where many people wear masks because of smog.
"Humanity caused exinction of many species, high air, water and earth pollution, biological degradation, global warming and few other disasters partially caused by them. This will happen if we'll do nothing when portal will be open to everyone."
"This really happened to your place?"
"No doubt. We need to prepare ecologial and economical laws if you want to keep the beauty of this place. I'm also only source of human culture, so I know what they'll may do."
"Can you prove us authenticate movies you showed us?" Princess said after short hesitation.
"Of course."
Princesses viewed my animation which it was made of imagining view of data I've collected so far. The movie was a bit speedy because I thought I don't have to much time on audience.
"It looks really real. What do you think, sister?"
"I agree. Well, we also considered about you. What do you think to be an Earth ambassador?"
My mind froze for a while to possess what I heard.
"You've gotta be kidding. Me? An ambassador? In a pony body? No way."
"We will prepare you to this job."
"What about my body?"
"Is it necessary?"
"Yes, it is. They may think I'm a sort of stranger that wants to represent humanity without any knowledge about them."
"Can you show us how do you look?"
"I'll try."
Trying to access my memory about my look the familiar message appeared.

"Dammit. Not again."
"What's the matter?"
"Image is encrypted. Unless I don't enter password I can't show you that."
"What do you mean 'encrypted'?"
"Some time ago I found program called EquOS in my mind with admin access. I could do anything except commands which required special password like this."
Sisters stared at me, later on ourselves, and again at me. Then some kind of smoke passed nearby heading towards princess Celestia. She opened the scroll and read it. After short consideration she stared at me again.
"The prophecies were true..."
A prophecy? What kind of prophecy? Were those about me?
"What, a prophecy?"
"Want to hear it?" I nodded.
The pony that came out of nowhere,
says he comes out of there,
the magic guides his way
despite his world couldn't get it anyway.
He will live with six friends
to not get in the sudden ends,
with knowledge better than ours
he will rule the lands of ours.
Until he gains a harmony
he will be treated as nopony,
if someone gets through
tell everypony that prophecies were true.
