"At it's current state, the equipment allows us to modify the dimensionally anomalous plane to bypass it's normal configuration as well as locking onto our chosen anchorpoints. That way, anything caught in the field is translated through the wormhole nigh-instantly, without anything more than mild kinetosis and exempting them from the Metastate-Fisher Principality effects."

___ blinked as Twilight Sparkle pushed her glasses back into place.

"What?"

Sunset Shimmer huffed, tapping her fingers on her clipboard. "She means it works when we push the button, it will send you where it's supposed to, you'll go out the other side looking exactly the same as you do right now."

"And it's fast. That was the nigh-instantly part. Now why am I wearing this?" ___, more commonly known as ___, indicated the violently pink fluffy bathrobe he had wrapped around him.

"Safety. On the off chance some part of the metastability breaks down, we wouldn't want any tight-fitting clothing to fuse to you." Sunset smiled, checking her phone. "Keep it a little loose when you pop over, unless you really like the color. Looks like your luggage just went. Are you ready?"

___ nodded, swallowing hard. "As I'll ever be."

"Great!" Twilight planted her hands on his back and drove him at a double time out the front doors of the old Canterlot High building and toward the newer, shinier building that now filled most of the courtyard. Inside, the Wondercolt's statue stood surrounded by heavy scaffolding, wires and humming equipment. A gaggle of men met them halfway, and one stepped forward, cornering ___ and aggressively shaking his hand.

"___, thank you again for volunteering for such a momentous project. The Inter-Dimensional Cultural Exchange Program is going to work wonders making a more open connection between our two races. This must be very exciting for you!"

___ struggled to maintain his smile as the hand-shaking continued. "Y-yeah, you could say that, Mr. President. I'll try to make a good impression."

"Ohho, I bet you will, my boy, no doubt. Can't have them thinking humans are warmongering, trigger happy savages, now can we? Bad for the economy, that! Now run along, make history!" The President of the United Principalities of Equestria mercifully released his hand, slapping him on the back toward the others.

"This way, ___." Sunset waved him along and indicated the taped-off yellow square directly in front of the statue's base. "Stand here, Twilight is going to run through the warmup, and you'll be in Equestria before you know it. All you have to do is not fall over."

___ nodded, carefully swallowing the lump in his throat and loosening the belt on the bathrobe slightly.

"Power systems, check!" Twilight shouted from behind a control panel. "Backup capacitors, check! Interference frame, online! E.M. bypass module-"

"For pony's sake, Twilight, it's all spooled up and ready to go! It has been all day! Just push the button!" Sunset yelled from the other panel.

"Fine, fine! Tch, no taste for drama today at all." Twilight flipped up the cover on a large red button. "Dimensional translation in five, four, three, two..."

"ONE! Boop."

Twilight pressed the button. ___ blinked.

"Did you just-"
