Happy? What did that word mean?
Applejack was a horrible liar..... I repeat the word was. Or maybe she is a bad liar..... And he was just too clueless..... Or maybe a little bit of both. But one thing was for sure. Oh she loved that dragon to the end of her and would take every day to repeat it in her mind. Times were once simpler but now she just didn't know.... But all he would ever care about was that lousy..... Stuck up little..... priss......
Applejack hated thinking like that...... Rarity should be her friend. At least she should. Like she should be the element of generousity but always was so selfish. But Applejack couldn't really talk. She was lying everyday to that poor dragon...... and all her freinds..... But.....
Besides the fact she shouldn't be thinking these things sitting right across from both her and the small dragon. Who knows? Maybe Twilight was gifted in mind reading or something..... She was sitting with them too.....
In fact they were ALL sitting there. The whole gang. It was one of their weekly picnics. A nice clear sky. A beautiful day. But all Applejack saw was grey... and sorrow....
She had been feeling that way ever since she started to like Spike....... And not like as in friend like. She meant like... like a like like sort of like...... Ugh this was confusing. She did love the little dragon. Oh how she loved him. He had no idea though.... No one did.... Except maybe Princess Cadence but really she couldn't help that. It was like saying that Princess Luna had no idea what her dreams were about.......... Actually maybe Luna knew about her crush as well....... NOT THAT APPLEJACK HAD ANY DREAMS ABOUT SPIKE HEH HEH NO NOT AT ALL........ Okay maybe a few.
"And when I looked, there was a tiny little mouse.... I had been so freaked out about Mr. Snuggles!" Fluttershy sighed as the rest of the group (Except Applejack) chuckled.
"Wow Fluttershy! Never knew you were so BRAVE!!!" Rainbow Dash teased, resulting in a little giggle from Fluttershy.
"And after we visited Celestia's old castle on that fateful day.... You still seem t-" Flutteshy began.
"AY AY QUITE!!!!" Rainbow barked, grumbling about how Fluttershy was getting more sassy ever since Discord and blah blah blah.
Applejack merely drew circles with her hoof, a rather solemn and blank expression fixed upon her face. Barely anypony really seemed to notice.
"WEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! I'M PROUD TO BE AN EQUESTRIAN, WHERE AT LEAST I KNOW I'M FREE!!!!" Pinkie sang obnoxiously, doing cartwheels around.
"Pinkie will you knock it OFF?" Rarity whined. Whine whine whine is that all that comes out her mouth? Applejack swore she hadn't heard one positive thing from Rarity the whole night. Ugh stupid.....
And it was stupid how relentless Spike was..... "Yeah.... Pinkie.... Y-you're hurting her ears....." He muttered. He didn't even seem to have his own opinion anymore! It's like he turns into a zombie. Applejack knew that he would roll around and play with Pinkie any day. But he won't in front of his precious Rarity. It made Applejack's stomach sink every time she saw it. He shouldn't have to hide his own personality just to be accepted by her! And Rarity doesn't even notice anyway!!! She just lets him do all these things for her and doesn't even think to thank him!!! UGH SHE WAS SUCH A-
"Applejack..... Are you alright?" A soft voice asked. Applejack peered up from the checkered picnic blanket and replied to Fluttershy softly.
"Ya Ah'm fine..... Jus' a lil' tired....."
By this time Twilight peered up from her book and noticed the change in the usually happy and bright pony.
"Did you work late last night?" She asked, a worried expression fixed upon her face.
"Mmm... Nah.... Jus' had a bad dream....." Applejack lied. She was lying a lot...... Too much..... And every time it had something to do with Spike...
"Awww I'm sorry.... What was it about...?" Fluttershy curiously asked.
"Uhhhhh......" Shoot. Bad dream bad dream..... What were her normal bad dreams about??? The only bad dreams she normally had were just quick little scare dreams that didn't really freak her out. They would know if she said something non-serious. Bad dream bad dream bad dream...... She gazed around searching for something, ANYTHING, that could give her a relative idea to go with.
Her eyes fell on a topic. "Err.... It was about Rarity." BAD IDEA.
"Me???" Rarity asked questionably, finally taking note in the conversation. Spike stared at Applejack, confusion filling his eyes. Darn it. Shit. What. To. Do. Now.
"Errrrrrrr Ya!!!!" Applejack choked out nervously, trying her best to hide her element peeking out from every corner.
"What about Rarity?" Rainbow Dash frowning, asked as she raised a brow.
"ERRRRMMMMM..... Can't remember! Ya! Can't remember! All Ah' know is that it was abou' Rarity....." Uh huh. Good excuse Applejack. Not.
"It is common for ponies to forget most of their dream after they've been awake for only 10 minutes..." Twilight said. THANK CELESTIA!!! EGGHEAD SAVES THE DAY!!!!!
Rarity whined. "But whyyyy meeee??"
Stop it. Stop whining. STOP IT.
"Maybe she dreamed that you were kidnapped or something." Spike stated. Finally he actually defends someone other then Rarity.
"Hmph... I don't understand why it HAD to be me though!" Rarity once again complained. That shut Spike up. Applejack growled, fed up.
"Will ya STOP WHININ' already???" Applejack snapped, glaring at Rarity from across the blanket.
Bad choice. Stupid honest flabbing mouth. That even got Pinkie Pie's attention when she was rolling around. Applejack stared at her hooves nervously. Spike was in complete shock. Rarity didn't say anything.
"Ugh listen Ah' gotta go home..... Ah' got a headache....." Applejack filed more excuses as she simply got up and headed off, not touching her food, no one saying a word.
And that was that.
