          Chapter 1: Lights, Camera, Chromatize!

Chapter 1: Lights, Camera, Chromatize!
In the Middle of a dirt road laid a muscular man, his bright red shorts, track shoes, and vest were easy to see if you were looking for him. His blond pulled back short hair and Horseshoe Mustache covered in dirt and mud from the road. He was Roy Tyson. Roy was a former boxer turned stunt actor who moved to Japan from Texas to get better pay.
He had no idea that during his time there with some of his friends that he would join them in making a studio as to make their own superhero show…Chroma Squad. Roy and his friends never dreamed that real aliens would try to invade Earth and they the Chroma Squad was the last defense.
In the end the Chroma Squad defeated the alien villains and saved the world…but that is the past.

Roy awoke to the glowing sun shining in his weathered face. He slowly picked himself off the ground while he allowed his eyes to adjust to the light. At first Roy thought he must have gotten drunk with the squad at a local tavern at their vacation restored that were celebrating at and just passed out. However, as his eyes finally focused on the sight before him, it caused an odd mix of awe and fear within the poor man. He was on a dirt road that lead to a city, which anywhere in the world was not an odd thing. However, he stood there as the city before him was beyond amazing. A city with bright glorious colors, and architecture that had no rival was built on the side of a large mountain.
Roy quickly slap himself, and closed his eyes hoping that he was just dreaming. Unfortunately, he opened them to the same sight. He had no idea where he was…
“Flashy, Simon, Diana, Wilma, Tammy! Where are you?!’ Roy yelled to his friends to receive no answer.
Roy found this unnerving as he was now alone in a strange amazing world that seemed to be a slice of an American child’s fantasy story. His focus returned as he thought to something logical.
“Ok…I have no idea where I am, how I got here, and how I can get home…great.” Roy said.
“Wait! Let me try something…” Roy pulled out his communicator and tried to activate it but it had no power. “Damn it! I forgot to charge it!” Roy said as to his surprise a large amount of screaming erupted from the city as if it were under attack.
His thoughts, and feelings of his own situation quickly settled as an old, but powerful thought coursed his mind. People were in trouble, and maybe if he saves them they can help him find out what’s going on.
Roy found his resolve and gave his hopes that his Chroma Powers still worked. He motioned his hand in the air and said. “Teleport!” Roy quickly vanished from sight in a cloud of colorful smoke.

Queen Chrysalis was enjoying her day despite the meddling of that annoying unicorn. Her changelings quickly descended upon Canterlot, and were rounding up the pitiful ponies who oozed with love, and positive emotions that changelings fed on. Her changelings were very hungry, and her duty to her people was the top priority, even if a few ponies suffer because of it. Though she would admit to enjoying the pain they felt.
"Nothing will ruin this wonderful day!" she gloated over the bride standing by the groom as her changelings soon brought back the ponies who were going for the elements of harmony.
The streets of Canterlot were in chaos as the horde of changelings attacked, and encased ponies in quick drying slime for their future feedings. The city guards tried to fight back heroically, but soon joined the citizens in imprisonment. This was a grim time for the city, and soon Equestria.
A family of three who lived in the grand city for almost a year now, were hiding like an animal being hunted down.
"We need to get out of the city while they don't know where here." The stallion in bright green had only one thing on his mind, to get his beloved wife, and daughter away from this madness.
The family soon left their hiding spot, and moved into the alleyways, hoping not to be noticed. However a changeling saw them, and call in backup with a loud screech.
"Move!" The family bolted out of the alleyways, and into the main street in desperation, followed by a squad of changelings on their tails.
Even at full gallop the adults were quickly caught, and slimed, their daughter turned around in fear to see her parents trapped like everypony around her.
"Run!" The parents yelled at their daughter.
She run as fast as she could with tears in her eyes, but soon tripped, and fell down as the changelings came closer and closer, she curled up and sobbed to her parents horror. Then in a flash a rainbow smoke something appeared and rammed the squad of changelings, before they struck the filly, and in a flash knocked the fiends into the sky.
The filly was still crying, she wanted to be home with her family, then she looked up to see the monsters coming at her were gone, and in their place was a large cloud of smoke. Soon the cloud passed and she was amazed, and confused as what she could only describe as a giant appeared.

Roy emerged from the smoke seeing the stares of confusion from the capture creatures around him which he could only think of as multicolored ponies, and received lots of looks of rage from the bug monsters, who were now flying towards him. He didn't care, he could tell by the looks of fear on the ponies faces that they were just innocent creatures being terrorized, forced away from their homes.
“If you going to mess with someone…mess with me!” Roy yelled as he got into his boxer fighting stance.
The Changelings charged that the strange creature with great force. However as soon as they were close enough to him, Roy jumped into the air as he spun around. Roy used a move he called ‘Red Tornado’ which created a while wind that sucked the changelings into a spin that then launched them into the air and back on the ground.
           With those changelings out of commission Roy saw that the bugs were protecting the castle of this city. Roy figured if it was like the bad guys on Earth, all he needed to do was take out their leader to get rid of them.
                    With that Roy ran through the streets to the castle all the while gaining the attraction of a lot of changelings following him.
                    “Man, this is like that comic con I went too…freaks following me!” Roy said to himself as he managed to get to the castle past the little bug blockades they had up.
                    Roy followed the sounds of villains laughter to a doorway, however it was guarded by a large group of bugs. Roy had to think fast and he managed to pick up a fallen stone pillar to the surprise of the changelings and threw it at the door. The changelings quickly scattered as the door was busted up for Roy to get inside.
To the surprise of the Chrysalis and several ponies, each as colorful as the ones in the streets Roy had just interrupted a wedding that had got to the bugs. Roy jumped into the air in a spin and landed on the opposed side of the queen.
"Who and what are you to dare challenge me!" Chrysalis said to the strange creature.
Slowly Roy did a little spin and motioned his hands in the air and screamed. “Lights, Camera, Chromatize!” Suddenly in a flash of red light Roy was now wearing a crimson red dragon style jumpsuit and helmet with black marks on the sides similar to a dragon's scales.
"When the forces of darkness attack the weak I am there, In the name of honor this fist shall strike, in the name courage these muscles will not break, In the name of innocence my blood will boil!"
He stomped the ground and in a quick, and flamboyant style, struck a heroic pose while pointing at the Queen.
"Champion of Truth, and Justice, Chroma Red is ready to fight all evil doers!"

                 Chapter 2: Wedding Brawl!

Chapter 2: Wedding Brawl!
The room was silent as the ponies, the bride and groom, and Princess Celestia watched the queen of the changelings and a strangely dressed creature calling itself Chroma Red stand their ground, waiting for the other to make the first move as everypony, including Twilight, wondered what this creature was.
"What is that? I have never seen such a creature. It stands on two legs, and has odd claws like Spike's, but it's different. It's taller than Princess Celestia by a foot, and it is clearly physically powerful giving it's muscular build, and it speaks our language?"
Twilight's mind was racing as there were more questions than there were answers, then she turned to see her brother Shining armor next to Cadence. Snapping herself back to reality, and the real situation of the changeling’s invasion, she quickly thought of an idea.
With great strength Chroma Red tossed large rock from the ground at the queen, then quickly ran behind it. Chrysalis focused her magic at the pillar that was only a mere foot away, and blasted it into dust. To her surprise Chroma Red use the dust as cover, and launched himself in the air, so to come down on the queen with a powerful strike of his fist.
Chrysalis would have felt that horrible pain tomorrow morning if it weren't for five of her changelings flying in the windows, and knocking Chroma Red away from her. Chroma Red was surprised, but quickly flipped in the air, and landed back in fighting stance as five new fighters joined the battle.

Twilight moved to over to Cadence, and Shining as the creature distracted the queen. "Are you ok?" She looked over the couple to see if there was any damage.
"We're fine Twilight, but I don't know if that creature can beat the queen, what do we do?" Shining looked at the fight as the thought of more changelings joining this battle would crash this surprising ray of hope.
"Can you use your barrier spell to repeal the changelings?"
"That could work, but the queen almost completely drain my energy, I don't have the strength."
"Then let my love give you strength." Cadence placed her horn next to Shining's causing a bright magical light to glow, and surround them.

                    Chroma Red now had to deal with these lesser bug demons again, it's a good thing he had another card up his sleeve as in a flash he summoned his battle spear, He twirled his weapon around in the air and smacked the changelings out cold one by one.
"Where is that thing?!" Chrysalis question was soon answered as her changelings were being attacked, and knocked out by the creatures spear weapon.
"You think your puny weapon will save you!" Chrysalis began to charge her magic, and aim her horn to destroy the entire roof of the building, until a light coming from the bride, and groom caught her attention.
Both Cadence, and Shining Armor levitated into the air, glowing with a pure magical light. Soon Shining's barrier spell was cast, blasting the queen, and all changeling in Canterlot into the air far away. The battle was won, and the city saved, Twilight ran to her teacher, Princess Celestia to see if she was hurt.
"Princess are you ok?"
"I am fine twilight, I'm just not as young as I use to be." Celestia said as she rubbed the back of her sore neck.
Twilight was relieved at her teacher's safety however she gasped as she turned to the creature to find it laying on the ground. Everypony quickly ran to Roy who had transformed back into his human form to find he was still breathing, but he looked like he just passed out. The ponies surrounding the hero were quiet for some time, until one spoke up.
"What is it...or he?" Twilight started as her mind tried to solve this puzzle.
"Maybe he's a shaved diamond dog." Pinkie pie blurted out
"I don't believe so but he clearly has a fabulous outfit that somehow disappeared." Rarity said.
"I have never seen an animal like this, almost like a monkey, but..." Fluttershy's mind was busy trying to processing this information.
"Well I haven't got a clue what he is, but I reckon if he went to the trouble to fight those varmints then he can't be that bad." Applejack had a good point as Rainbow Dash quickly agreed.
"Applejack is right, plus did you see him beat up those changelings? That was kind of cool."
Celestia soon brought order to the discussion as she told the ponies that no matter who or what this creature is it clearly tried it's best to save them, and gave Shining Armor, and Cadence enough time to repeal the changelings. Then everypony agreed with the princess as the guards came into the cathedral to check on the princess, Celestia quickly told them to take the creature to one of the guest bedrooms and have guards stand by outside.
"Now let are guest rest as now with the real Cadence we can have a true wedding." With that the ponies quickly prepared for the wedding of Cadence and Shining armor with much more positive results.
Shining Armor, Princess Celestia, and the other ponies apologize to Twilight for doubting her in the beginning, although Twilight didn't hold it against them. Princess Celestia was commending Twilight Sparkle, for it was her instincts, and conviction to them that ultimately saved the day. The wedding ceremony was quickly rescheduled, with Twilight eagerly overseeing preparations for a much happier, and profoundly appreciative Cadance. Shining Armor, and Princess Cadance were soon married, and an ensuing celebration occurs.

Roy remembered the last moment of conciseness. He was battling the bug monster and was prepared to dodge her magic blast. Then suddenly a strange warm light showered him, knocking him out.
Now Roy must rest.

Chapter 3: Thanks for a Battle Well Done.
Roy tosses and turns, he feels warm and tired, his eyes dart open and he awakes in a strange room. Roy notices he’s in a bed, wrapped up in covers and bed sheets. He looks around the room as he notices the walls and furniture are fancy and expensive looking.
Roy gets up out of the bed, see a window and looks outside but he can’t figure out where he is. Outside was a city of colorful ponies, each of which were acting like humans with their shops, markets, and utilities. Roy backs away from the window with a confused look on his face as he pieces what happened yesterday together. He remembered fighting a bug monster and her army with a lot of pony folk around.
“Oh man, i thought all that was a trippy dream...i guess it’s not.” Roy now remembering what happened.
He looks around the room and the objects inside then he heads to the large wooden door. He stop right before the door when he heard hoof steps and quickly runs back into the bed with an innocent look on his face.
Twilight enters the room to check to see if this strange creature had awoken yet. She notices he is wide awake in the bed and asks if he is okay. Roy is really confused at first on how to address this situation, but then sees it’s the purple unicorn that was in the room during the fight with the bug monster.
“I’m fine, I guess...I have to admit, I’ve never seen a real purple unicorn before.”
“Oh, are their no ponies from where you are from?”
“There are but...it's complicated...anywho i guess I’ll introduce myself. I'm Roy Tyson, also know a Chroma Red of the Chroma Squad.’
“I am Twilight Sparkle, student of Princess Celestia who is one of the rulers of Equestria.”
“So i guess it’s time for the questions...You can go first Twilight.”
“Thank you...so what are you for starters.”
“I’m a human...going to take a wild guess that this isn't my planet.”
“So you're an alien?”
“Haha...i guess i am.”
“So why did you come to Equestria and our planet?”
“Ah now that's a question i would like to find the answer to myself...I have no idea how i got here, just woke up on a road leading to this city.”
“Oh…”
“It’s fine...not the craziest thing that's happen to me.”
“Another question is what is ‘Chroma Squad’?”
‘It’s a team of me and my best friends who have great powers that we use to defend the Earth from evil.”
“Oh, are you like a superhero?”
“Well..ya actually.”
Just then Princess Celestia, Luna, and Cadence walked into the room.
“We heard this conversation from outside and we would like to tell you something.” Luna said.
“Ah...ok”
“Both me and my sister, as well of all Canterlot and Equestria would like to thank you for your aid during that business with the changelings. Thanks to your help we were able to use our magic to send the changelings away.” Celestia said.
“I would also like to thank you as you helped save not only the city, but your help allowed me to save the pony I love from that evil Changeling Queen you fought.” Cadence said.
“Oh, it was no problem...all in a day's work.” Roy commented.
With the thank you of the princesses now doen. Celestia had a servant bring in some food for Roy. Celestia tells Roy that she had doctors examine him for any injuries during which they told Celestia Roy was an omnivore to which all the food boguth to him was a mix of fruits and fish. Roy quickly ate his fish dinner as he noticed how hungry he was after all that fighting.
Just then…
“Roy? Roy can you hear me?” Roy quickly pulled out his communicator.
“Simon, is that you?”
“Thank god you're ok Roy. Do you know where you are?
“Well that a long and somewhat odd story…”
“Wait, i can track your location from my computer….what?! you on the other side of the galaxy!” Roy and the ponies around him were surprised by this.
“Simon, i have no idea how i got here, does Cerebro know anything?”
‘I’ll run it by him...still glad you ok, i’ll let the others know too.”
Twilight walked up to Roy with a question. “Is Simon part of the Chroma Squad too, and who is Cerebro?”
“Simon is Chroma Blue in the squad along with...Flashy who is Chroma Yellow, Diana who is Chroma Pink, Wilma who is Chroma Black, and Tammy who is Chroma Six...as for Cerebro, well he is our guide and mentor who helped us save the Planet Earth from evil aliens.”
“They sound like great friends.”
“They are...i just hope they can figure this out.” Just then the other ponies, Twilights friends entered the room and introduce themselves. The communicator came on as Twilight was getting her friends up to speed on the situation.
“Roy...this is Cerebro, i believe you teleported to your current location due to a system error in the transportation systems. We fix it but it seems that we can’t get you back the same way as the magical energies of that planet are interfering.”
“That not good…”
“However...what is odd is that the magic of the planet is allowing us to send to you your Chroma Armor and Weapons as well as the Meta-Mecha, however we cannot send the your teammates there..
“That really wierd, Cerebro.”
“If i had to guess your transportation was no accident after all...some greater power has arranged it for unknown reasons. I want you to stay vigilant as Me and Simon will try and bring you home...Cerebro out.” Roy sat on the bed with a confused look on his face.
‘Don’t worry about it. I sure your friends will find a way.’ Twilight said.
“Thank you Twilight.”
WIth that done Roy meet and greeted Twilight’s friend and ate a grand dinner befitting a hero.
Meanwhile Above the Planet Equis...
A large dark blue metal spaceship was setting just above the atmosphere. It was a mountainous craft shaped like a Cube and adorned with light blue glowing mystic runes from various corners of the galaxy on its hull. Inside the command room of this fantastic ship were various machines, creatures and monsters from even more varied parts of galaxy.
They keeped the ship running at peak efficacy as their master was working on his special project. At the viewing platform was a man-like creature...he wore a dark black outfit with red trimmings on it, a black as night cape, and his nightmarish red eyes stared at the planet below as he talked to himself.
“Soon…”
