Gentle moonlight entered Twilights new self appointed bedroom from the open window, brightening up the room and chasing away the shadows as they tried to fill the room with darkness. It wasn't much, but it was more then enough to write a report.
Twilight Sparkle stared at the scroll on which the report was written. She was rereading it, examing it or even more,
Dear Princess Celestia,
Today I learned that my life wasn't all that bad uptill now. I had a lot of friends in Ponyville, problems were taken care of before they formed a real problem and I didn't really have to struggle to survive either. There were ponies out there with a more troublesome life then me and yet despite all of that I kept complaining. I complained about going to Ponyville, I complained about unfair things, democracy, friendship, about everything!
I learned that It's only when you have nothing to complain about that you realise how unnecessary most of your complaints were. If only I had realised that sooner....
Well complaining about it all would make the lesson I learned today useless so I won't.
Well with this I end my report. I know that this report will never arrive since spike isn't here, but writing all my worries down somehow makes my heart feel a little more at ease. I will continue to write these letters with the hope that you'll be able to read them one day.
Your faithful student,
Twilight Sparkle.
Twilight read the report for a last time to ensure that this report was worthy to be read by a royalty. She reacted with a small nod and said to herself. "Well, this report seems to be flawless."
A faint purple glow emitted from the unicorns horn and in a flash the scroll was rolled up and teleported in the drawer of the desk next to her new self appointed bed. She thought of choosing her own sleepingplace as a way to compensate the rough treatment she had gotten earlier today, she had just woken up in this place and ponies already expected her to know how things worked here.
"Well perhaps that's just how things work here, perhaps people here aren't as kind and friendly as in Ponyville or perhaps they just expected 'beginners' to adapt quickly to their new enviroment. Perhaps the answer was so obvious that I didn't notice it or perhaps... perhaps..." Twilight let out a sigh. "Getting worked up now won't do me any good, I'll figure it out tommorow."
"Oh Princess... Will I ever be able to stand next to you as your loyal subject again?" Twilight Sparkle murmured to herself as she teleported herself in one of the nearby beds
