"Sugarcoat, are you done for the day?" Indigo Zap called impatiently from the stands. She finished a little while ago, but I wanted to go all out and decided to fly an extra ten laps. Now I am starting to regret that decision.
"Almost done," I replied happily, as I curve around the last bend. Flying has always been an experience, a good one of course. Ever since I was a little filly I have wanted to get into the Shadowbolts, and now I am. Like actually for real, an actual Shadowbolt. I am ecstatic as I land on the stands.
I trotted up to Indigo " I think we are gonna win internationals this year. We totally beat ponyville in nationals."
"Yeah, with you going as fast as that, there's no way we can lose!" She exclaimed, smiling.
"You really thought it was that fast," I blushed, suddenly shy. Flying was my lifelong passion, and being a fast flyer was all I ever wanted.
"Yeah, you were like a rocket!" Indigo smiled.
"Well I better head off now," I sighed, feeling fatigue climb into my wings.
"Okay, see ya," the orange pegasus called as I flew away.
I landed on the platform of cloud. After a day of practicing for the international flying contest, which included nations outside the Shadowlands. I knew we would make it to internationals as we aren't the fastest flyers in all the Shadowlands for nothing.
Opening the door, I sighed happily at my perfect life. Good house, good job, good friends, what else could anyone ask for. I quickly shut the door before there was a draft.
I trotted through the hallway all the way to the kitchen before I noticed something. Something atop my kitchen table. A letter.
