The Worst Cider Season, Ever
Chapter 1- Here we go again
As the rooster crowed it's morning alarm, every single pony of the Apple family cringed. Applejack covered her face with her hat in shame, Big Mac groaned while stomping downstairs, Granny Smith's eyes opened wide and rushed out of her room in a panic, and Apple Bloom yelped and hid in her blankets. Applejack had to bribe the poor filly to get her out.
They already knew that the rooster's early crow symbolized that cider season had started, and all of the Apples feared it. Ever since they made the decision to add alcohol into their drinks (for better sales), not only was Rainbow Dash even more tiring, but every other customer drove the Apple family insane. Most ponies were making Ludacris orders, there were more arguments in the lines, and the rest were just royal pains.
Although, there was one certain customer that was the worst among all of them. A mare more frequent than Pinkie and more obnoxious than Rainbow. Berry Punch.
Applejack looked on in horror as she saw how the purple mare somehow beat Pinkie, and she had a tent made before her. No pony had ever done that before. This season obviously meant a lot to her. After last season, the Apples had enough of her. They had sold out countless times due to her, and they would sometimes have to keep endless holds on the line, just so they could get enough barrels for Berry's order. She would even go strait to the end of the line so she could get more cider a second time. With the amount of closings and paranoia for Berry's organs, the Apples got an idea.
As they walked towards the stand, the purple mare had a sack full of bits, ready to order.
"I'll take six whole barrels of cider, to go, please!" Berry said. She then threw the bits onto the stand. To the mare's shock, the orange pony pushed away the bits. Berry was stunned. "What are you doing?" Berry asked, feeling worried.
"I'm afraid we won't be able to take that order, Berry." Said Applejack. "By the Apple family's rules, we are only allowing a certain number of ciders that can be bought before we cut you off for the day." Berry was horrified. To hear those words was like a dagger to the back. The only thing that she could retort back, was just stammering and trying to bring out words. "B-but but, I-ahh.. wh-why?" She stuttered.
"I'll tell you why." Applejack said. "We're doing this because you're-" Before she could say any more, Berry was already whining and sobbing.
