Four months had passed since that day. Four short months.
Skyline's business was booming, but he changed his work schedule to Tuesday through Thursday, and as a Tuner Shop.
Fluttershy and Skyline started SkyShy Motorsports, and planned to dominate the racing scene.
Skyline rarely slept alone these days. Fluttershy always felt more comfortable at his side. Skyline never complained.
The wrecked remains of the white Toyota were put on display in the main hall of the Canterlot Castle. Skyline always took a moment to stare at it every time he visits.
The armor backpack is now under heavy guard at the castle, and at the moment Skyline has no intention of ever using it again.
Skyline finished fixing his 2002 Nissan, and it was running as good as new. It turned into his new daily driver. The 2000GTR gathered dust on a lift in the garage.
Skyline was driving down a scenic road one day in his '02 Nissan, with Fluttershy on his lap. Fluttershy rested her head on Skyline's shoulder. Skyline downshifted, and let the car coast. Skyline smiled bigger than he has in awhile.
He was gazing at the trees when we sensed something in the passenger seat. When he looked over, there was a man in the seat.
Discord.
Skyline stopped the car immediately. Fluttershy pressed herself against the driver's door, startled. When the car was at a halt, Skyline looked to Discord. "What did you find out?" Skyline asked.
Discord put his fingers together, as if deciding how to answer. "There seems to be one more enemy that you may have forgotten about."
Skyline sighed. "You have to be shitting me."
"Sadly, no. You'll have to settle for some chocolate milk." With that, he conjured a glass of milk out of thin air.
"Did you get any evidence?"
Discord handed him a picture of a red and black 1969 Ford Mustang BOSS 302. The fender had devil's horns on it.
"Is he a threat?"
"He could be. But he will definitely make himself known soon, somehow."
"Alright. Thanks for the update. You may get out of my car now."
"Ugh, fine. You're no fun." With that, he snapped his fingers and disappeared.
Fluttershy looked at Skyline. "What was that about?"
"It's nothing. Let's start heading home. We'll stop by Sugarcube Corner, how's that sound?"
"That sounds nice." She gave Skyline a kiss. "My place tonight?"
"Yep. Sounds good." Said Skyline. He pushed down the gas and they flew toward Ponyville.
