“Yes, yes! Plenty of power, minimal difficult decisions, you understand,” he replied, opening a portal to some other realm which the Pegasus would rather not dwell on.
“And you’ll be gone all weekend?”
“Alas, yes,” sighed the draconequus. “But I’ll tell you what. I’ll make up a brew for you to enjoy before bed tonight, hmm?” He snapped his claw, and a tea set appeared on the coffee table, steaming invitingly. “My own special recipe. As an apology for the short notice?” He waggled his eyebrows. “You wouldn’t deny this prankster his duty, would you?”
“Oh, just go already,” huffed Fluttershy fondly. “I’ll enjoy the tea, I’m sure.”
“I certainly hope so, my dear,” replied Discord deviously as he stepped through the interdimensional gate.
“Enjoy your… pranking!” Fluttershy called after him.
“Oh, I already am!” Discord shouted back as he closed the hole in reality behind him. Then he chuckled to himself, shaking his head as he began to traverse the nonsense-land he’d stepped into. How could that mare be so trusting, no matter how many hints he dropped? No matter. Pranking was his business this weekend, and if Fluttershy had to be his first victim, so be it!

Fluttershy was ready for bed already, but walked over to her couch and sat down, breathing in the aroma of Discord’s tea. It certainly smelled good. She brought the teacup to her lips and took a sip.
