Chapter 1- Packing and Packing
Twilight Sparkle, a alicorn girl with violet eyes and dark straight purple hair with pink highlights and lavender wings and horn, stood on the balcony of her bedroom. She was very excited about tonight. Her friends were coming over to have a sleepover and Twilight was the host.
Everything had to be perfect .
"SPIKE!!!"
A purple and green talking dog came running into her room.
"Yes Twilight?"
"Is the food ready?"
"I think."
"The bean bags all fluffed?"
"Did it my self!"
"The TV in place?"
"It was.. yea probably still is.."
"My sleeping bag out?"
"Yea"
"Thanks Spike."
Twilight lifted her dog into her arms and cuddled him,
"You're the BEST! I couldn't have done it without you."
Meanwhile in a boutique not so far away, a beautiful girl with sapphire eyes a perfectly symmetrical pale face and deep violet curls with a creamy white unicorn horn was busy packing her belongings in a rather large leather purple suitcase with jewels all over it.
Rarity was lifting items carefully and folding them into the suitcase (described earlier) using her unicorn horn.
"Oh goodness me!" she suddenly cried
"It's almost time for Twilights sleepover! I better get moving!"
She dragged her rather full suitcase (that was almost bulging) and made her way towards her friends home.
A few blocks away from the boutique, there was a bakery. The walls were made to look like cookies and cake and was named "Sugar Cube Corner." The apprentice that lived there had poofy pink curls that were very elaborant, a medium complexion and bright blue eyes like the sky.
Pinkie Pie, was too packing for Twilights sleepover, but she only had a small backpack on her back. In her arms, she had a pink sleeping bag with three balloons on it, coloured pink and blue. In her other arm, Pinkie had a small green alligator called, "Gummy" with purple eyes and no teeth.
"TO THE SLEEPOVER WE GO! GUMMY AND I!" she yelled,
Before skipping along the pavement that led to her friends house.
"Lalalalalalalalalaaaa"
On the next street, (along the one that both Pinkie and Rarity lived on.) There was a small cottage with a large garden. Inside, it was crowded with small animals and a girl with pale pink hair, that cover half her pale face and turquoise eyes and pale yellow wings was busy fulling her suitcase for the sleepover. She was half flying as she carefully put a small stubborn rabbit (called Angel) into her extra backpack she was carrying. Fluttershy put a few carrots and lettuce leaves into the pouch and carefully zipped up the bag.
"I'm sorry Angel," she said in her soft sweet voice,
"But I must be heading out. Twilight's waiting for us." she added to the bunny.
"I promise to make you your favourite lunch next week."
And off she went walking into the distance.
On the same street as Fluttershy, there was a apple farm. Named "Sweet Apple Acres." A rather tanned girl with freckles and blonde hair was stuffing items into her bag. She had green eyes and a brown cowboy hat on. Applejack was too packing for the sleepover and she was putting apple after apple into the bag as "snacks."
"Ah better be goin' Winona" she said in her country accent to her dog.
"Bye Granny, Big Mac, Applebloom." She lifted off her hat and ran down the pathway.
On yet another street, in a rather big house, again, another girl was packing for the sleepover. She had long messy hair that was in every colour of the rainbow, magenta eyes, a slight tanned skin and large cyan blue wings. Rainbow Dash stuffed her clothes into her bag while hovering in midair. She yawned and grabbed her bag, ignoring the strip of hair that was dangling in front of her eyes. She quickly raced out of the house, flying and leaving a rainbow trail behind her.

"Truth..I guess" Twilight answered, tugging on the bangs of her hair that had fallen into her face.
"Okay." Rarity started,
"Who do you like?"
Rainbow groaned, every time Rarity got a chance to give a truth, it would be "Who do you like," It was so annoying, and boring.
"I might..uh like someone....?" Twilight said...blushing a deep cherry red.
"You can tell us Twi, we're your friends." Rarity said blinking her eyes smiling eagerly.
"DUH! Twilight likes Flash Sentry!!" Pinkie interrupted.
Rarity looked at her,
"Do you darling?"
Twilight nodded...blushing deeper.
"My turn!!" Applejack said, breaking the awkward silence.
"Fluttershy, Truth or dare?"
"Truth....or maybe dare...ok...truth...?" Fluttershy whimpered.
"Ok, sugarcube. What is your most embarrassing moment?"
Fluttershy squeaked.
"It's probably when she wet herself during our annual school play in 2nd grade, every year our school had a big performance where all the parents would come to watch their children in a play. Fluttershy was a sheep and as soon as the spotlight went on her, she wet herself as fast as that." Rainbow piped in,
"It was hilarious!"
Fluttershy looked like she was going to wet herself again, she was shaking and squeaking.
"Rainbow Dash, you needn't have said that!!" Rarity said angrily.
"Fluttershy can decide for herself what she wants to share and what she wants to keep a secret!"
"Whatever. Blame AJ, she was the one that came up with the idea in the first place!" Rainbow Dash said, rolling her eyes.
"MY TURN!!" Pinkie said, (as she was next in the circle)
"Dashie, Truth or Dare?"
"Dare." Rainbow answered simply.
"Oki Doki Loki, I dare you to eat this cupcake!!"
"Okay...?" Dash replied.."Why would Pinkie want her to eat a cupcake??"
She took a bite.
"BLARGH! It tastes like mud!!" Rainbow said wiping her tongue,
"Because it's mud cake!!" Pinkie said happily.
Rarity looked like she was going to puke.
"I'm going to get you back on this one!" Rainbow said to Pinkie.
"Who's turn is it?"
"meep...mine...." Fluttershy squeaked.
"Go on then,"
"Um...Rarity...Truth....uh or um...Dare??"
"Truth."
"Uh...when did you uh...go to sleep last night?"
"9:30 pm...what? A lady needs her beauty sleep."
"Seriously Fluttershy?" Rainbow shot at her,
"You could have asked her something, that she wouldn't want to tell us!"
"meep"
"Ugh! My turn...Pinkie, Truth or dare?" Rainbow said with a evil smirk.
"Truth!"
"Why is no one doing Dare?!"
"I will I will!! I choose Dare!!"
"Okay, Pinkie. I dare you to not talk until your next turn!"
"umph."
"So, Twi?"
"Okay, AJ, truth or dare??"
"Dare!!"
"I dare you to read this book!"
Twilight lifted up a thick, heavy, dusty book, titled "The 1001 book of Boring facts"
"What?!"
"Read it all."
"Ah don't know Twi..?"
"It's a dare!"
"Alright then.."
Applejack opened the thick book and started reading.
The game went on for ages, Truth or Dare, Truth or Dare, Truth or Dare Rarity asked Applejack, whom she liked, which she answered..uh Caramel is cute..AJ shot back at her, making Rarity wear her extra pare of jeans..Rarity was screaming..Until it was Pinkie's turn...
"YAY! I can talk now!!! OMG OMG OMG!! YAYAYAYAYAYAY I'm SOOOOO HAPPY!!!"
"Pinkie..."
"Sorry...he he.."
"My turn.." Fluttershy said, a bit more enthusiastically.
"Rarity...truth or dare??"
"Truth"
"When was your most embarrassing moment??"
"Hey you copied my one!" AJ said grinning
"Sorry..I I didn't uh.."
"Don't fret sugar-cube, it's all right.."
"I um..." Rarity interrupted.
"TELL US!!" Rainbow shot a her smiling,
"It was probably when I was seven, my school was doing a charity sale and I had been chosen to be the main act on the play that we were going to present to the people. I was very confident but as soon as I got onto the stage I kind'a forgot all my words and everybody was just standing there staring at me. It was a nightmare, then my principal said that there was a mistake and I was only the sub, I shouldn't be on stage and she grabbed my sub, (since she knew all the words,) and pretended that she was me. After the show, my principal gave detention to me for mucking up everything!!! I WAS A LIVING NIGHTMARE!!!"
Rarity looked like she was about to cry.
"Oh Rarity!! I'm so sorry!!" Fluttershy said, I didn't mean too.
Twilight smiled,
"Why don't we all share our most embarrassing moments?"
"It has to come from a truth though." Rainbow shot back,
"Just dare them to do it, no biggie."
"It's my turn anyway!"
"Twi, Truth or dare?"
"Truth"
"Fine. What is your most embarrassing moment?"
"Okay..when I was four, I was practising a lifting spell, every time I practised, I did it right, but as soon as it became the day where my teacher was to test me, I flunked up. But this time I was sure that I could do a teleportation spell. I failed. The whole class was laughing and my teacher wrote a big F on my exam paper and she said "As always, Miss Sparkle comes down on the lowest score in our class." But that was all before I studied magic even harder. And before I got accepted into Princess Celestia's school for gifted Unicorngirls."
Soon after, AJ was sharing her most embarrassing moment,
"Granny Smith and Ah were collecting Easter eggs, Ah was sure Ah could beat her as Ah had already put five eggs in my basket and she had put none. When the time was all up, Ah bragged to big Mac that Ah was going to win, but then Granny came up with a entire fill basket of eggs, and when Ah looked back at mine...they were all gone, there was a huge hole at the bottom of my basket and Ah lost. Big Mac said that the hole was there before the race. Ah was so humiliated."
Then Pinkie,
"My family and I were having a nice "fun" day on the rock farm, but I forgot my goggles so I got dirt in my eye!!"
"That's it?"
"Yeah!!! It was so embarrassing!!"
So they moved on and Rainbow was sharing her most embarrassing moment.
"At our annual school dance, a boy had to invite a girl to slow-dance. I never like it. Three boys asked me, but I declined them all and I went to the dance without a date. I was the only one. Fluttershy had a date, she wasn't embarrassed at all. In fact she even has a photo of the night still, even though he had already broke up with her. Then Hoops and Dumbbell came over and called me a loner and that I was so stupid that I didn't deserve to sit and watch them dance and imagine me dancing myself! I guess it was a night to remember."
"My turn!!" Rarity said,
She had asked all of the girls apart from Rainbow whom they liked, Fluttershy ended up saying that she kind of liked Big Mac, AJ liked Caramel, Pinkie had Cheese Sandwich.
"Rainbow, who do you like?"
"I JUST DID A DARE!"
"Just tell us!!"
"Fine! I uh..like.."
She moved back as the door opened, blushing.
"SOARIN!!"
And she was right, standing in the door way was the wonderbolt.

Chapter 5- An Unexpected Guest
"Soarin...WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!!!???" Dash yelled, making Fluttershy whimper.
Soarin sat down, squeezing himself in-between Pinkie and Rainbow.
"I just wanted to say "hi" and maybe have some fun."
He answered, helping himself to the popcorn on Pinkie's lap.
He leaned on Rainbow lovingly, making her blush.
"It was a long story...." he started
"Spitfire gave us a three day break, so I wanted to come see you," he said looking at Dash.
"When I got to your house, it was empty, well apart from your tortoise. I went around the street and got to a farm. I had some pie and asked the owners where on earth you would be. The said that you were having a sleepover in a castle like library. I searched and I searched and here I am."
He said this all very fast.
"Ok..." Twilight said.
"You can join us tonight, seeing that you are very close to Rainbow. I'm Twilight Sparkle and this is Fluttershy," she began.
Flutter shy gave a squeak.
"This is Applejack and Rarity,"
"Howdy! That farm you went to was mine!"
"It's a pleasure to meet you..uh..Mister Soarin.."
"You already know Dash and that's-"
"I'm, PINKIE PIE!!" Pinkie exploded, throwing confetti everywhere.
"We were just in the middle of a game, Truth or Dare!!"
"Cool!"
"Wanna join?"
Soarin nodded eagerly, receiving a groan from Rainbow.
"Ok..Truth or Dare?" Pinkie started,
"Let's start again girls, for our guest.
"Truth?"
"Okay. What are your feelings for Dashie??"
Soaring looked at Rainbow who looked back at him angrily.
"I guess we are a couple, I mean, we've been on several dates before...I really like her...she's an excellent flyer and she's pretty and cute. She's pretty funny too."
Rainbow was blushing the entire time.
"Rainbow darling!!" Rarity said shocked.
"How could you not tell us that you had a BOYFRIEND!!"
"Because this is what would happen.."
Fluttershy was "Meeping" even more and Applejack looked like she was in her own fairyland. Pinkie Pie was going crazy, saying
"Dashie has a BoyFriend!!"
Twilight was asking Soarin random stuff.
Rainbow groaned.
"I knew how you were going to react..."
"Anyway's darling..you need to do my truth."
"I did it! You know I like Soarin...."
"Oh well..."
Twilight quickly gathered up her friends and Soarin so they could continue their game.
"Come on guys..."
"Ok.."
"Okay Twi"
"I guess then it'll be my turn?" Applejack said with a shrug then looked at Soarin.
"Truth or Dare?"
"Why are you all going for me?"
They all shrugged,
"Okay then...uh..um..dare?"
"Okay Soarin, I dare you to tell us, how long have you two been dating?"
"Why are all the questions about that?" Rainbow Groaned.
"Ugh...you guys.."
"I guess we have been dating for half a year now," Soarin said, looking at Dash.
"Meh."
Twilight smiled, "that's nice of you to tell us Soarin." she looked at Dash.
"Why did you keep this a secret?"
Rainbow looked at Rarity,
"Yea! I could have thrown you a Supa-Dupa-Pinkie-Yay-You-Have-A-Boyfriend-Party!"
"Is she always like this?"
The others all nodded.
"Uh Huh."
"She kinda reminds me of Surprise...."
"Who Who WHO??" Pinkie asked franticly.
"Surprise, my fellow wonder bolt."
"Oh!! Surprise is my mum's sister's husbands cousins sister's daughter!"
"Uh...okay..?"
"Tell her I said HIIIIIIII"
"Yes ma'am"
AJ smiled.
"You like pie?"
"Eeyup"
"Ah have plenty of those." AJ replied
"If Ah knew you were dating Rainbow then you could get a half price discount!"
Soarin looked at Rainbow,
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL HER??"
Dash rolled her eyes.
"I told Spitfire and she approves. So does Wave-Chill, Surprise, Fleetfoot, Blaze, Rapid Fire, Misty Fly & Lightning STREAK!"
"You did?"
"Yep."
"Ughhhh you said you might not though..."
Soaring placed his hand under her chin,
This made Rainbow blush.
"Sugarcube, your face is going as red as my most prized apple."
"Uh huh.."
Rainbow just groaned.
"Tonight will be the best night EVER!" Pinkie screamed,
"We can throw my Supa-Dupa-Pinkie-Yay-You-Have-A-Boyfriend-Party!"
"Pinkie??"
"Come on Twi!! You can help me plan my Supa-Dupa-Pinkie-Yay-You-Have-A-Boyfriend-Party!"
"But we were in the middle of a perfect slumber party! We can't just throw a Supa-Dupa-Pinkie-Yay-You-Have-A-Boyfriend-Party!"
Twilight took a deep breath.
She had been planning this sleepover for ages, it needed to be perfect. Everyone needed to think that it was perfect. She had correctly measured everything. The popcorn was popped in exactly 1.312 minutes. If this party failed...then all this work was useless.
She sighed.
"Guys!! Guys!!"
Everyone including Soarin stopped what they were doing.
"This sleepover..it can't end like this. IT HAS TO BE PERFECT!!!"
"I'm sorry I was so unexpected..." Soaring apologised.
Twilight didn't want hime to leave. He was almost the life of the party. He was Her best Friends Boyfriend.
"You can stay...I guess"
"SWEET!!" Soaring said huging Dash,
"This will be the best sleepover since I get to spend it with my girlfriend!!"
Everyone including Twilight cooed.
"Awww"
Rainbow just felt her face go hot.
Soarin grinned, "should we continue our game of dare?""

Chapter 6- Well, this is Awkward
Chapter 6- Well, this is Awkward
"Are we still going to play truth or dare?" Twilight asked her friends (and Soarin) who just all shrugged.
"We have to!" Pinkie moaned,
"The title of this story is called "Find Out Your Secrets or Dare!"
They just all stared at her.
"What?"
"Ah was thinking we could have a pillow fight or something?" AJ said,
"And then we could do MAKEOVERS! " Rarity squealed.
Rainbow grabbed a pillow and threw it at Soarin,
"Are we going to play or not?"
Twilight smiled, maybe things could be perfect after all...
she grabbed a lavender pillow and aimed it at Rarity's face.
"Bullseye!" she said cheeky.
"Oh, it is so on!" Rarity shot back.
She threw a pillow and Twilight, who dodged, and another pillow that hit Soarin on the back.
"Why is everybody going for me?"
"Because, you goofball," Rainbow said smiling at him playfully.
Applejack was gathering her apple pillows and aiming them at Pinkie, who was making a fort. The pillows bounced of the fort and went flying over the moon! (well, not really...)
"Like my fort AJ?" Pinkie yelled, putting on a football mask.
"Oh my..." Fluttershy squeaked, as she ducked down low under her sleeping bag.
The pillows were exploding.
"You look cute when you're angry," Soarin said grinning at Rainbow.
"I do not!" Dash shot back at him, clearly frustrated.
Just then, a flutter of feathers can flying down. A long white feather floated and rested itself on Rainbow's nose.
She twitched and flickered her eyes frantically, trying to ease the tickle of the feather but gave in eventually.
"EEH....EEH...EHSHOO!" she gave a good high pitch sneeze that did not go well with her personality.
Everybody looked at her.
Twilight spoke first,
"Bless you Dash, let's keep this going on!"
Soarin grinned at her and walked over. Rainbow could feel her face going bright red, why did she just have to sneeze? She had always been embarrassed by how girly they were, she had usually managed to painfully stifle them.
"You had some cute sneezes back there.." Soaring said grinning,
"My sneezes are not cute you egg!" Rainbow yelled at him, angry.
She threw a pillow at him and crossed her arms.
Soarin was used to this already, Rainbow always threw tantrums when he said she was cute. But he just couldn't keep it in. She just was.
He smiled and shrugged and picked up the pillow of the ground.
"You game?"
"You bet!"
Dash threw a velvet pillow at his back, he dodged.
Soarin threw a pink goofy pillow at her legs, but she flew over it.
Soarin smiled, he had almost forgot about the whole wing thing.
Twilight was hovering over Applejack tossing the pillows to her, they were on the same team against Rarity, Pinkie and Fluttershy. It was two against three because Twilight had both magic and wings so Rarity was the magic and Fluttershy was the wings, even though she didn't want to be.
"Ah got ya Rarity!" Applejack shouted as she hit Rarity in the face with a big Pink Pilliow (properly Pinkie's)
"You don't hit a lady in the face!" Rarity shouted back throwing hard a pillow with apple's on it (you know whose pillow that will be) and hitting AJ in the left cheek hard. Applejack snarled.
"BULLSEYE!" Pinkie yelled as she high-fiver Rarity.
"Ugh." Applejack muttered as she threw a few more pillows that all missed.
The room was getting very messy with feather's. Twilight was starting to think that they should pack it in.
"How 'bout we get a break and continue with our game of Truth or Dare?" she asked her friends pleadingly.
They all sat down in a circle (including Soarin) all sweating.
"You should have joined us Dashie!" Pinkie said smiling.
"You should have seen Rarity hit Applejack back there."
"Ah hit her first Pinkie."
"Never mind that girls..and boy. Don't you want to continue our game?"
"meep" was all she received from Fluttershy.
"How about we just play Dare?" Rainbow suggested.
"Ohh I LOVE Dare!" Pinkie said taking a big bite in her s'more.
"Where did you get that from?" Twilight asked as Soarin stared at it mouth watering before receiving a glare from Rainbow.
"I don't know?" Pinkie answered.
Twilight sighed. Then she got and idea.
"How about we play this game I used to play with y old friends back in Canterlot! It was called Find out your secrets or Dare!"
"Isn't that just truth or dare?"
"No. I'll explain the rules, when it is your turn, you not only have to give a dare to someone and you can only give dares, you have to first tell a truth about yourself that you have never ever told anyone before or you miss out a turn. When you have missed out three turns you are out!"
"Oooh!" Pinkie said,
"Wait....never, ever?"
"Never Ever."
"Never ever ever!?"
"Yes Pinkie. How 'bout we begin, I'll go first."
The others all agreed that they should try out this new game.
"Okay my turn, did you guys know that I have dated six boys already and that they all ended fail, apart from Flash..."
"Details Darling Details!" Rarity said excited.
"Now it's time for my dare," Twilight said.
"I dare you Pinkie Pie to tell me why my book on anthology disappeared when you came to visit?"
"I took it home to read! I'm so sorry!"
"Thank you Pinkie, who will go next?"
"Me Me Me!" Soaring said grinning.
Dash looked at him confused.
"Okay a secret...uhh I had a crush on Rainbow when I was 13?"
Dash looked at him..."When I was a Junior Speedster with Fluttershy?"
Soarin nodded.
"A dare...Applejack,"
Applejack looked shocked when he looked at her.
"Please bake me an apple pie."
She nodded and left the room to Twilight's kitchen,
"The apples are in the fridge!" Twilight yelled before looking at Soarin.
"I Love Pie." Was all he said.

Chapter 7- The Game Continues..
Applejack wasn't ready with the pie yet, so the girls (and boy) waited for her patiently.
"You just had to ask her to bake you a pie?" Dash questioned Soarin,
"Uh huh...I didn't pack one and either I die of um...nopieothermia or eat a pie."
"Yea, yea....whatever..."
"What is nopieothermia?" Twilight asked,
"I've read the entire book of illnesses and metal disease and I've never come across anything like this word before, is it a new discovered illness....or did the book lose a page?"
Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes.
"Nopieothermia is a "illness" that only Soarin can get. You get it when you don't eat pie for too long, so he has to eat a pie everyday."
Soarin nodded.
"He. Made. It. Up. Twilight." she said this very sternly.
Twilight sheepishly nodded.
"Ah'm back!" Applejack came in with oven mitts on and a freshly baked apple pie in her hands.
"Thanks." Soarin said before digging in.
"We can continue now?"
"Yea..."
Twilight said
"Rares, your go."
"Okay, I have never ever ever told anybody this.....I HAVE A HUGE CRUSH ON FANCYPANTS!!!!!!!!"
"Seriously....you've told us like 20 times already..."
"I have?...okay then...I'll tell you my most embarrassing secret....I didn't brush my hair 3001 times today, I was kinda in a rush so I left it with 3000! It was the worst possible thing!"
"Yea..."
"Okay...if that wasn't worse enough for you then... My hair wasn't naturally curly...I did a spell when I was 3 to curl it forever!!!!" Rarity burst out crying.
"Wah ha ha ha haaaa!! So embarrassing!"
"There There..." Fluttershy tried to calm her.
Rarity continued crying or several minutes while he friends tried their best to cool her down, finally she was ready to do her dare.
"Okay....Rainbow Dash... I dare you to Tell us your most embarrassing secret twice on your next turn!"
"WHAT?"
"You heard her."
"UGH"
"OHH OHHH ME ME ME ME ME NEXT!" Pinkie said leaping up and down.
"Oki doki...a secret...my youngest sister Marble Pie, has never spoken in three months! YOU HEAR ME??? THREEEEEEEE MONTHS!!!!!"
"Pinkie, isn't it a secret about you...and Marble is not you."
"Oki Doki Loki...um....according to my counter...I speak,10,000,000 words everyday!"
"Woah Pinkie!"
"Uh huh...cool."
The game went on with several dares that were very entertaining and really interesting secrets, the girls (and boy) were having so much fun...they forgot completely about the time. The clock struck midnight and it was way past their normal bed time.
"Oh my gawd..."
"Okay girls, (and boy) we should pack up for tonight and we can have more fun tomorrow because it's a two night sleepover."
"Oh...it has to end..."
Soarin had eaten another pie that AJ had to bake on his next dare and Rainbow Dash had to share two secrets instead of one before she did her dare. The girls were starting to get into bed when Soarin pointed out that he didn't have a sleeping bag.
"You can share with Dash" Twilight pointed out.
Rainbow looked uncertain but after a few minutes of arguing she gave in and Soarin squeezed himself in.
In order for both of them to have enough blanket, they unzipped the zip and made it blanket shaped, then Twilight used her magic to make the ground have a enormous pillow under Rainbow Dash's sleeping bag.
"There you go."
"Thanks Twi"
"Thank you Twilight."
Rainbow sat up.
"Scary stories Twi?"
"uh...?"
"okay should I go first?"
She grinned at Soarin who looked like he would wet the bed.
"Lets begin....
So when I was a kid, I would fly up to the top of the stairs as fast as I could, like it was some sort of silly game. Well, I must have been five or six at the time. I'm not sure, but I know I was very little. Somewhere along the way, a voice at the top of the stairs started to whisper to me. It would make bets with me, such as... "I bet you a penny you can't make it to the top of the stairs." I don't really think there was a certain amount of time or anything. As I said, I was very little so I probably didn't have any counting abilities anyway. Ha. I recall just sitting at the top of the stairs, having conversations with this voice, about the betting, of course.
Eventually the voice (it was like a whisper of a man's voice, not my own voice in my head) started to bet me my life. Instead of pennies, it'd say "I bet you your life you can't make it up the stairs blah blah."
As I got older it stopped. I never really thought about it at all. I never mentioned it to anyone... UNTIL one night I was sleeping over at my brother's place (I was about eighteen, he was twenty-two) and we were talking about "spooky" stories. Out of nowhere I brought up the "voice at the top of the stairs" and my brother got all quiet and weird. Before I even mentioned the betting aspect, he said "Did it make bets with you?"
And"
"STOP!!!!!" Pinkie cried, her hair uninflated
She started crying
"It's too scary!!!!"
Fluttershy was hiding underneath the sleeping bag frightened very bad and was making squeaky sounds, Soarin was curling himself up into a ball and using his wings to rock himself forwards and back. Applejack was looking at Rainbow Shocked, Rarity was redoing her mask as Applejack had accidentally ruined it by knocking her.
Twilight spoke first.
"How about I tell a story before we go to sleep?"
"It's not fair Twi!" Dash yelled,
" didn't finish yet!"
"It all started out
Sapphire Shores was a rich kid who led a very nice, comfortable life, protected from most of the bad stuff in the world. One day, Sapphire went to the movies to see a film she'd been dying to see. The problem was that she arrived a bit late, just as the last ticket was being sold to a very poor looking boy. The boy had been saving for weeks to buy this ticket. Realising there was no ticket left for herself, Sapphire was furious, and started shouting and protesting, demanding that the boy hand his over.
"But why should I give you my ticket? I arrived before you did and I've paid for it", said the boy.
"Because I'm more important than you! Look at me! I'm rich and you are poor. Don't you see?", Sapphire replied.
At that moment, a very distinguished looking man came over to Sapphire and offered him a ticket, saying,
"Of course, my lady. You have more of a right than him to see this movie".
Then Sapphire , in the most showy and superior way, walked off from the boy and entered the cinema. When she got inside the auditorium, Sapphire looked around and was pleased to see that the place was filled with other rich children like herself. She made her way to a seat. However, as soon as Sapphire sat down, she vanished and was somehow teleported onto the cinema screen. She realised she had turned into a movie character, playing the central role in many stories. And in all those stories Sapphire started out with a lot of bad luck: a couple of times her parents disappeared, other times her house burned down and she lost all her money. In some stories she had to travel to countries where she didn't understand the language, in others she had to work straight from childhood, to help support all her brothers and sisters. Sometimes she found herself in a situation where everyone treated her like a fool, or like someone who had no feelings...
In all these stories, Sapphire had to struggle terribly to survive and overcome her difficulties. She managed this, even though few people would have given her a hope. All the stories had a happy ending, in which a wise, fortunate, rich, and mysterious character would help Sapphire to fulfil her dreams.
When all this came to an end, Sapphire found herself back in his seat, feeling pretty shocked. She realised that in real life she had always been fortunate, and had never helped anyone to have a happy ending of their own. She felt terrible, and spent a long time in that seat, crying. Finally, an enormous smile broke over her face, and he left the cinema, almost dancing. She was happy because now she knew what she was going to do with her life. She was going to be that helpful person who comes to the aid of less fortunate people. She would be a maker of happy endings!
On her way home, over in the distance she saw the distinguished looking man who had given her the movie ticket. And Sapphire realised that that man was the same one who had appeared at the end of all the stories on the cinema screen. The man who created happy endings.
From that very day on Sapphire Shores was a singer

Twilight couldn't fall asleep. The story that Rainbow Dash said was too much of the scary. Even the happy story that she had told her friends before couldn't get the story out of her head. The feeling of somebody talking to someone on top of the stairs was very uncomfortable. After a couple of hours sitting there thinking, Twilight drifted of to sleep.
Soarin was having quite a lovely dream if he could say so himself. He was eating a huge apple pie while staring at Rainbow Dash. The clouds were made of cotton candy ad it rained quite lovely chocolate rain. Soarin was busy eating the pie in his dream, he rolled over and found himself face to face with Dash. He woke up.
Rainbow Dash was sleeping while snoring quietly, her hair was frizzled and she looked very peaceful. Soarin looked at her and didn't know if he should turn back or keep it that way. he felt her hand, which was a tiny bit cold. He decided to cuddle up with her instead. Soarin wrapped his wing around her and drifted of back to sleep in his wonderland. Not noticing that Rainbow and wrapped her wing around his.
Twilight was having some troubles in her dream, she was dreaming of herself in a book world when someone was betting her pennies that she would not be able to finish the book. Just like Rainbow Dash's story, the voice soon turned into betting her life. She woke up screaming.
"AHHHHHHHHH"
which also woke everybody else up.
"Twilight?" AJ asked sleepy,
"Are ya'l okay?"
Twilight used her magic and turned the light on to find all her friends looking down at her.
"Darling, whatever made you get up at this time?" Rarity asked while looking at herself in the mirror.
"I'm sorry...everybody..I had a bad dream. A dream just like the story Rainbow told us..."
Dash looked down at her.
"You know that it's not true right?"
"Yea..but it seems true and it feels true to me."
"It's six o'clock, how 'bout we call it a night?" Applejack suggested.
"We're all up anyway."
"Yipeee!!! PANCAKES!!!!" Pinkie yelled as she pulled Fluttershy into a huge hug.
"Oh my goodness..."
Twilight sat up and looked at her friends.
"I'm sorry I woke you all up...I didn't know what I was thinking..."
"Neither do I..." Spike answered yawning.
Soaring still had his wing around Dash who was shivering,
"How about we all get dressed?" She asked smiling at him.
"Oh yes darling, I need to pick a new outfit for today!" Rarity said.
She used her horn to make all her clothes start to mix and match.
"No...no...no...nah...oh god no...YES!"
She held up a woollen sweater that was baggy and stylish with some black tights that were knee hight. She put on a pair of sleek black boots and started brushing her hair.
Fluttershy just pulled on a cardigan with a bunny pattern and a short pink skirt with long yellow socks to match her wings.
Applejack wore some baggy jeans with her rodeo vest and some long white sleeves hanging out. She put on her hat and tied up her hair.
Pinkie just turned around twice and a whole new outfit was on her.
"How did you do that?"
"I don't know.."
"She's Pinkie Pie."
Rainbow Dash reached inside her bag and just pulled on a hoodie with a pair of shorts and her hair sticking out the opening. She yawned, this was a early morning wasn't it?
Twilight paced back and forth looking at all of her friends she used her magic to make a plated of pancakes and she still couldn't get her mind of it.
"Twilight...it was just a story...you should really get your mind of it...I mean...if you want to..." Fluttershy tried to say.
"You're right...it was just a story and I making it seem like a really big deal..."
She poured some syrup onto a pancake and got some blueberries and cream.
"Breakfast anybody?" she asked while taking a bite of the pancake.
"Mmmmm" She said smiling
"It's good.."
Twilight looked at her friends happily munching on their pancakes. She sighed and continued eating.
"What's wrong Twilight??" Applejack asked, noting the quietness of her friend.
"I don't know...the dream..it was like a nightmare but it was a dream..."
"I know...it's okay sugarcube....it was just a dream...just a dream."
"But it seemed so real..I...I .....I just believe it's real...it seems real enough.."
Rainbow Dash looked at her...she seems confused as well. Why had her story seem so real to Twilight??
"It was fake. The story was fake. It was all fake Twi. It's not real. I heard it at flight camp when Hoops thought he could scare me. He ended up scaring Dumb-Bell instead. It's a fake story Twilight. Don't believe it. The more you believe the more real it seems."
Twilight nodded to see that she understood. She knew the story was fake and that was that. She poured more milk into her cereal bowl and looked at the rest of her friends. She knew the story was fake and now all she needed to do was get it all out of her mind. But that seemed the hardest. Oh why did they suggest scary stories. Why did this all happen. Why did her dream turn into a nightmare. WHY WHY..
"WHY!!!" Twilight ended up yelling at all her friends (and Soarin) who just stared at her.
"You okay darling..." Rarity asked.
"Yes..."

Chapter 9- The day we did Makeovers
"Well, since none of us have anything yet planned for today, I was thinking we could have a makeover. You know you could all wait in line patiently while I give you all a makeover?" Rarity suggesting doing her nails.
Twilight was hoping she could do some research about the dream but she didn't want her friends getting bored so she nodded.
"How about we start after breakfast? I mean if we want to and since we of course need to eat first!"
Rainbow made a face, she turned to face Soarin and then Rarity.
"You are going to give Soarin a makeover as well?"
"Well, I don't see why not?"
"You didn't know he was just going to show up on the doorstep wanting to join us...how did you know to pack him makeover stuff?"
"A lady always comes prepared, you will learn as you become more and more like a lady, Dash will you pass me the mirror?"
Rainbow handed it over to her,
Rarity put the mirror so it reflected Rainbow Dash's face,
"Remember this look and then look at yourself again after my amazing makeover in which I learnt from the lovely spa girls, you know, Aloe and Lotus!"
"Thank you dear, Applejack, you don't mind me working on you first huh?"
"What...I..I.."
Twilight shot her a look,
"Ah..sure Rarity, I will go uh...um..first?"
"Oh yes dear, now chop chop, I have seven makeovers to do."
She looked at the rest of her friends,
"Now, I've changed my mind, how about we all have our makeover at the same time?"
She did a spell so that they all ended up sitting in a circle together, all having cucumbers on their eyes,
"Rarity, I have a book on makeovers.... Do you think you will need it?"
"Sure darling, let me have a look"
She looked at the leather book which had a huge golden font that said "Makeovers for slumber parties"
She turned to the first page;
Use a gentle cleanser that is designed for your skin type (e.g. oatmeal- or honey-based soap). Afterward, use a nice toner. Then, moisturize with a non-scented, oil-free moisturizer.
Apply conditioner to dry hair, coating it thoroughly (out of concern for the environment, avoid products containing palm oil). Wait a few minutes. If your hair is in desperate need of conditioning, it will soak up the conditioner quickly, and you should re-apply. Repeat this process until your hair is saturated with conditioner. In most cases, three applications will do the trick. Next, place the shower cap over your hair. Then use a blow dryer to heat your hair for about 15 minutes. To avoid damaging your hair, do not use the highest heat setting; use medium or low heat. Once you have entirely warmed the roots, tips, and middle of your hair, remove your cap.
Fill up your tub with warm water (make sure that it's not too hot, and not too cold) and remember to keep in mind that the water will cool down after you've been in the bath for a while, so adjust the temperature of the water accordingly. Then, add some soothing, scented bubble bath to the water, or maybe some essential oils. For an extra spa touch, you could get some flowers and let them float on top of the water. Some stores sell fake floating flowers that smell amazing. You could also light some aromatherapy (or regular) candles and place them in your bathroom and around the bathtub for extra relaxation. As a safer alternative, you could also use battery-operated candles, which flicker softly without a flame. Get in with your hair up in a bun or ponytail. Lay your head down and rest your neck on a comfy bath pillow. Listen to some music while you're there, if you like. Stay in for around 30 minutes. Then get out and put on a soft bathrobe and comfortable slippers. Once you're out, spray yourself with a quick mist of rosewater. It will open your pores and leave you smelling like a rose! Rosewater is extremely refreshing and can be mixed with witch hazel for a natural toner.
You can also take a sitz bath if you don't/can't lie down in a tub. That is when you fill your bath with warm water and sit in there for 5-10 minutes without being fully submerged. It's a good alternative to a full bath, and excellent for abdominal cramps.
Boil water and pour into a large bowl or your bathroom sink. Add some essential oils or a few sprigs of mint to the water for a little bit of extra flair. Drape a towel over your head and sit with your head over the steaming water. Stay there for about 5-10 minutes. Listen to music while doing this so it's not as boring.
Splash your face with warm water then pat it dry. Take out your face mask and apply according to the instructions on the bottle. You can make your own face mask if you want to. Read a magazine to keep yourself entertained while the mask works its magic, or cover your eyes with cucumber slices and just listen to music. After about 10 minutes, take the mask off and rinse your face.
Rarity closed the book,
"how abut we start with the facial cleanser?"
The group sat there for one and a half hours while Rarity did all of their makeovers. (Not Soarin because he didn't want one. He just sat there and watched)
"You guys all look lovely!"
"Oh thank you so much Rarity!" Fluttershy said touching the butterfly clip she had in her hair.
Rarity levaited a comb and brushed Rainbow's hair (Soarin was drooling) smiling,
"This was the BEST DAY EVER! I can't wait to do this again..of course at our next sleepover!"

Chapter 10- Forts for all
"You girls look absolutely stunning!" Spike commented as he walked into the room,
"Especially you Rarity!"
"Oh thank you so much Spikey Wikey!"
Rarity had her hair all out with a diamond clip in her hair. She had bangs that covered her eye slightly and he usual thick makeup. Fluttershy had a straight fringe instead of her usual parting (as Rarity wanted to try something new) which looked quite cute on her and a butterfly clip in her hair. Her skin was shining after the facial mask and she had pale pink blush. Applejack had her hair in a fishtail braid with a apple clip as a hair tie. Her hat was still on her head and she tilted it up when Spike came in. Pinkie Pie had her goofy hair in two pigtails and she was playing with them entertained. She poofed them up and down up and down up and down. Rainbow Dash's hair looked extremely soft after the conditioner, Rarity decided to just leave it out so Soarin could admire it. She had a tiny braid with a lightning bolt hair tie under her think rainbow hair. Twilight just had a normal headband with a star on it and sparkles in her hair (that were removable) and her hair was in a low ponytail that hung over her shoulders. She smiled as Spike walked in and ruffled his fur a bit as he nuzzled her.
No one knew but Twilight was still thinking about the scary story, why it seemed really and stuff. She wanted to ask her friends if they wanted to study with her or not but she was scared they would think studying on a night that was suppose to be a sleepover night very very boring. She really wanted to find out the answer though.
"How about we turn this place into a fort?" Pinkie Pie suggested lifting up a pillow.
"It'll be so fun and we can sleep there tonight instead of in out sleeping bags!"
"That'll be...I guess...of course....fun!" Fluttershy commented receiving a huge hug from Pinkie.
"YAY! EVEN FLUTTERS AGREES!"
"Let's do it, right Twi?" Applejack asked.
"Uh...yea...heh..." Twilight answered uncertain.
"LETS DO THIS THING!"
The girls and boy started gathering all the pillows and blankets in hands, magic and even sometimes wings. Imagine Twilight lifting up a pillow, holding a pillow ad carrying a pillow in her wings! Rainbow Dash was looking at Soarin for some reason and Applejack had to slap her to get out of it. Fluttershy was getting only one pillow at a time and putting it in the box. Rarity was in charge of the blankets and she was using her magic to lift them up. Twilight opened up a book to see how you build a fort;
1.Assemble four chairs, tall leg resting cushions or dressers of a medium size. This tutorial will assume you're using chairs.
2.Arrange the chairs into a square.
3.Place a lightweight blanket over the top of the square. You might need a helping hand.
4.Clip in place. Use paper clips, safety pins, rubber bands, etc. to hold the blanket in place.
5.Have helpers pull back each of the chairs. Pull until it no longer droops in the middle.
6.Use a stick or long pole for the middle piece. Insert this in the middle, to raise the blanket upward.
7.Keep the stick in place by pushing large cushions or pillows around it.
8.Lay comfortable items across the floor. Add quilts, cushions, and other comfy things inside.
9.Add your goodies. Add electronic devices, books, food, etc.
Add a flashlight for light.
10.Crawl inside. Invite friends in. Have a cozy time!
"Guys, check out this book!"
Rarity peered over her shoulder and looked at the book,
"I guess we will need four chairs..."
Twilight used her magic and four chairs appeared in front of them.
"There, all good."
"Now the blanket and we need teamwork, yes thank you Applejack, Pinkie! Flutter shy please use those clips to clip everything onto the chairs...yes dear...well done! Okay now Pinkie AJ, please pull the blanket..yes..thank you. Rainbow? Rainbow? Uh..."
Rainbow Dash was talking to Soarin who was staring at her,
"Typical lovebirds....now Fluttershy can you place the pole in the middle? Thank you darling, Pinkie, put the pillows and bean bags around the pole so it doesn't fall over, Twilight? Do we have any quilts or stuff...oh yes..the bean bags...now lets go in to have a look."
Rarity entered the fort smiling, it was warm and cozy and fit for around 10 people. They only had 7 so this was pretty good. She looked over at Soarin who was drooling and used her magic to without him noticing what happened but wiped it all off.
This is what happened.....
Soarin was staring at Dash once again, he loved how her hair swayed as she walked and not releasing that he was drooling.
"Soar? You goofball..what are you doing??"
"Huh?? Oh..um...yea..heh..heh..."
Soarin felt his face turn tomato red as Rainbow peered into his eyes with her magenta ones,
"I'm fine...yea..heh..heh.."
"But you were drooling, over what? You can tell me anything!"
"Um..."
Soarin knew that the truth was that he was drooling over her beauty but instead he blurted out..
"PIE! Yes..uh..I was drooling over...pie!"
"Right..."
Soarin spotted Rarity using her magic, she winked at him.
"Pie is really good you know and uh...very..um...healthy..and it...tasted like apples??"
"Soar..I'm not an idiot. You're improvising, spill the beans. What are you doing?"
Rarity looked at him and beckoned him over.
"Uh...I'll be right back"

Chapter 2- Perfect.
Twilight tugged on her purple hair. The sun set down the hill, darkening the sky, Celestia must have woken Luna, as the moon was rising. It was getting later and she was worried that her friends may have forgotten. Spike was sleeping on her lap, as she wrote down a plan to do in the night. They were going to play Truth or Dare, or as her brother, (Shining Armor) used to call it, Find out your secrets or dare. Twilight chuckled at the memory and fixed her eyes on the bell that hung above the wooden door. She sat there worried until the bell started to ring.
*DING DONG DING DONG*
"You're HERE!!!!" Twilight yelled,
Rarity made her way into the room.
"Luxurious." she commented as she critiqued the room.
Spike, almost instantly woke up drooling, (he had a crush on Rarity.)
"Fluttershy!!" Twilight yelled a few minutes later.
"Twilight... I hope I'm not late..."
"Pinkie! Applejack!! You came!!"
"Wouldn't miss it for all the apples in the world!"
"TWILIGHT!!!" Pinkie also yelled!
" Are we all here??" Twilight said, looking at her friends.
Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie were all sitting crosslegged in a circle.
"1, 2... 3, 4."
*Knock*
"Rainbow!" Twilight said grinning. Perfect.
"Dashie!! " Pinkie yelled, plummeting herself at her friend, making her almost fall over.
"Woah Pinkie.."
Rainbow Dash joined the circle as Rarity started lecturing her about brushing hair.
"And you too Applejack, you must brush at least 1000 times before going to bed! Rainbow! Don't you give me that look. You are a lady and you must look your very best 24/7!"
Both Applejack and Rainbow Dash rolled their eyes as Rarity started raging.
"At least Fluttershy knows about my RULES!!! SHE IS RESPECTFUL TO LADY KIND!!!"
Twilight joined the circle that her friends were sitting on and passed the bowl of popcorn round the circle.
"Calm down Rares." she said smiling.
" OK let's play.."
"TRUTH OR DARE!!!" the others chorused (apart from Fluttershy), cutting her off.
Rarity used her magic and turned the lights on.
"It is my favourite game!!"
"Me too! What a coincidence!!" Pinkie replied.
"Oh no... " Fluttershy whispered.
"Me first...Twilight. Truth or Dare?" Rarity spoke with a grin on her face

"My book of "Slumber 101" clearly states that when having a sleepover, you must always unpack and prepare everything, like games, a list of what we want to do, not like starting of with games!! It's not right and perfect for my sleepover. We can do Truth or dare afterwards" Twilight answered.
"Can we get on already." Rainbow unenthusiastically stated, rolling her eyes.
Twilight lifted up her thick book (Slumber 101) and pointed to the words, showing all her friends.
"Oh...my..." Fluttershy whispered, after reading the page,
"Are you sure...we um..can do all of it....tonight..?"
"She's right darling," Rarity said looking at Twilight.
"I don't think we will have time for...uh that."
She squinted her eyes in disgust and pointed to the part where, (in small writing) the book stated that "No. 234 Have fun with your friends outdoors."
"It's raining dear."
"Well," Twilight stuttered.
"We just won't do that,"
Applejack's face fell.
"Ah was looking forward to that Twi."
"Oh oh oh!!!" Pinkie suddenly yelled.
"Can we please do THAT!!! PRETTY PLEASE! WITH A CHERRY ON TOP?!" She said this all very quickly.
"Play pin the tail on the pony..." Rainbow Dash read out.
"Isn't it supposed to be donkey?"
"Oh. The author wanted it to be pony!" Pinkie said smiling.
"THE WHAT??"
"Never mind."
"Twilight, do we have to study textbooks?" Applejack questioned.
"Your brain needs to stay nice and healthy."
"I don't want to....um...tell..uh spooky stories...."
"No. 345? It's not perfect without it!"
"Facial masks..seriously?"
"Darling I agree with this one."
"We should do everything on the book!!!!!!!!"
"We're just trying to tell ya Twi," Applejack started.
"That this is our sleepover, as friends and I think we should all get a say on what we want to do. When we want to do. We don't have to follow the book, dear." Rarity finished.
The others nodded.
Twilight sighed,
"You're all right...I was so scared about making the sleepover so perfect that I forgot about the main point. Us having fun as friends."
She put Slumber 101 aside.
"Or we'll be so sad and that won't be good because it's not good to be sad and if we're sad we won't be happy and it's the worst thing ever to not be happy and if we're not happy we will not smile and if we don't smile no one else will smile and then we will all be gloomy and depressed and not be happy and everything will be bad because no one will be happy which is bad and all of this is because of the book!" Pinkie said, very quickly.
"SPIKE!!!"
"Yea"
"Can you please put the book back onto the shelf?"
"Sure thing!"
"Thank you Spike!"
"Oh no probs, hey Rarity...did you see these muscles??"
"Oh yes Spikey Wikey...."
"Rarity, want to continue Truth or Dare?"
"Spike...get out.."
"Sure thing Twi"
