Chapters Armored Demon Of Equestria
Zajar has seen many things in his long life with it mostly being demons of other sizes and shapes and even angels. He seen the cruelness of humanity but has also witnessed their compacity for kindness and courage. Going through a strange vortex of White and black light was something he was not expecting. He was actually expecting to be in hell with Yami standing over him to begin his torment for all of eternity. So it surprised him when he felt himself fall out of the vortex though the brightness of the two colors forced him to close his eyes even as he felt himself land on a knee on the ground. He heard voices around him but was too busy thinking about what transpired before this point. He heard someone walking towards him but judging from how slow it was moving he guessed it was scared and cautious. It was probably an angel to make sure he was dead or a human. When he heard it was a few feet he opened his eyes causing it stop and stare at him. Zajar was surprised at what he saw.
'Nalkra ayh kilgjis? (What are these?)' Zajar thought as he stared at the strange creatures that surrounded him though they kept their distance.
He stared at some type of creature that was way too colorful to be a demon but wasn't an angel or human either. It was purple with a deep purple mane and tail that had a pink stripe through it and had a horn protruding out of the top of its head. It was also giving a look of curiosity mixed with fear. He also saw out of the corner of his five more of these things....and something else. He saw a brown one with a blonde mane and tail that was wearing a.....helmet of some kind? She was giving him a look of cautious. Next one had a pale pink mane and tail and had wings which matched its fur that she kept tucked to its sides. Moving to the next one he saw a sky blue one that had all sorts of color in its hair and tail. He also saw it had dark pink color irises. It was also glaring at him.
Glancing over he saw one with a coat that was a light pink color while its mane and tail were of a much darker hue. Its mane and tail had an inflated appearance to them and looked as if a firecracker had been set off inside them. It was also smiling a big smile that shouldn't even be possible at him. The last one coat was white with an indigo mane in a fancy curled style. Its moderate azure eyes stood out with her light blue mascara and eyelashes.
After getting a good look at them, he slowly began to rise to his feet causing the purple one to back away with fear while the other ones let out screams of fright and took off. Zajar just watched as these things ran around screaming......did one just jump through something? Zajar saw the ones that he saw out of the corner of his still there. The others had walked over towards their friend and stood by her. He watched as the blue thing flew towards him until it was right in front of him. "Rainbow Dash!"
Was that the name of this one? He watched as it poked him a few times with its hoof. Zajar watched as it continued to do so then suddenly it turned and kicked him right in the face with its back.....leg?
Twilight and her friends stared up at their friend with wide eyes as they saw her kick it in the face as hard as she could. All they heard was a ding like you would hit metal. Everypony and demon just stared at her as she flew down towards her friends. Landing softly she glared up at Zajar who simply stared at her with a neutral expression. All of sudden Rainbow let out a grunt of pain as she fell on her flank clutching her hoof while her friends stared at her. "Good Celestia! What are you made of!? Pure metal!?"
Zajar just stared at her. She was technically right.
"Twilight wat in tarnation is this thing?!" Applejack shouted while Twilight simply stared at the thing that stood there not moving but simply staring at them.
'Perhaps it is curious about us just like we are of it?' Twilight thought as she stared at this thing.
"Twilight!"
Twilight shook her head to see her friends staring at her. She turned her head towards Zajar who still stared at them. She slowly approached it ignoring her friend yelling her name. She slowly circled it while Zajar just watched her. "It appears to be eight meters tall." Twilight said as she continued to circle around it and even put her hoof on its armor while Zajar didn't move just letting it do what it wanted to do.
"The plates covering its skin appears to be made of metal, possibly stronger than any metal in Equestria and is bipedal like the diamond dogs."
Zajar cocked his head to the side when he heard it say that word. "Bupdal? (bipedal?)"
The ponies including Twilight froze when they heard him speak. They slowly looked up at him only to see him staring at them with......a look of curiosity now. "It just spoke!" Twilight yelled excitedly though her friends were still cautious except Pinkie who disappeared from everypony sight.
"That's nice and all sugarcube but we don't know if its friendly or what in the hay it even said." Applejack spoke while still giving Zajar a look of untrust.
"Look at how tall I am!?" Everypony and Zajar looked to see Pinkie was on his shoulder.
"Pinkie get down here!" Rainbow yelled.
Zajar just stared at his right shoulder then to the ground and back at his shoulder. "Nalkren did lat even geav up katu? (How did you even get up here?)"
Everypony glanced over at Fluttershy who epp and hid behind her hoofs on the ground. "Do you know what he is saying?"
Fluttershy was quiet for a minute then spoke but more of a whisper. "I can't."
Everypony glanced back up to see Pinkie was in front of the thing face hanging upside down. "Hitheremyname'sPinkie Pie!what's your name?Doyoulikecupcakes?Areyouagiant?Doyoulikeparties?"
Zajar just watched as this thing continued to talk and talk without even breathing. He just stared at her blinking while she continued on. Is she some kind of demon in disguise and had lost its mind a long time ago when it was trapped here. Did that mean all these things were demons once and Yami sent them here as punishment?
Zajar blinked when he saw the pink thing who he figured name was Pinkie was suddenly enveloped by a purple aura and suddenly disappeared causing Zajar to blink. 'Nalkra? (What?)'
Glancing over to the things he saw the one known as Pinkie was there now and was being scolded by her friends. "Pinkie you can't do that! What if he is a spy!"
'Ukpy? Nalkra ku kigija? (spy? What is that?)'
"She's right sugarcube. What if it's just a trick?"
"Silly willies! Tricks are for colts and fillies!" Pinkie said with a large smile while her friends just deadpanned at her.
Zajar just couldn't help but find them curious. Why did they do this with each other? he then saw the white one was giving him a scrutinizing stare. She was probably going to scream or something. Like all humans who feared demon except for a few but, for the most part, they loved angels.
"YOUR PLATES ARE TOO PLAIN!"
Zajar just blinked at what the white thing said. Too plain? What in the world does that even mean?
"Really? We have a strange creature here and you worried about its fashion?" Rainbow asked while glancing at Rarity.
"Well just look at it!" Rarity exclaimed while pointing at Zajar......in a lady like manner.
Twilight stared at Zajar with a curious expression. 'That language it spoke......why does it sound familiar?'
"I don't think it cares whether or not you approve of its fashion." Rainbow deadpanned.
"Why I never!"
Glancing from left to right at these beings Zajar wondered what they are, though. As he thought more of the matter he stopped his train of thought as he watched the purple one vanished in a purple flash. Where could she have possibly have gone?
Spike moved closer to his objective. Finally after a few long hours of working and putting up with Twilight antics Spike could finally accomplish his goal. It would take a great deal of concentration to complete this. Twilight nor her friends would be able to stop him as he inched closer. There was a flash of purple blinding Spike causing him to fall over and with him a stack of cards he stacked. "Ow." Spike rubbed his head with his claw and glanced up to see his cards had fallen off.
"Twilight." Glancing over he saw she was looking through books really quickly. "Um, Twilight?"
"I know I heard that language before!" Twilight muttered to herself completely ignoring Spike who was staring at her in concern.
Spike sighed as he realized she was in one of her moods. Glancing down at the cards then back to Twilight he thought about how he should clean up the cards but just shrugged his shoulder and walked up the stairs towards his bed. "I need a nap anyway."
Twilight was glancing at each book title with her eyes but sat it back when she saw it wasn't the one she was looking for. Twilight pulled one more book out labeled the demon tongue. She growled and went to put it back but stopped. "Why not?" She pulled the book back out and saw its cover. She remembers this book now. She bought it an antique shop from Canterlot at her last visit. She stared at the silver decorations adorning the cover of the book. The metal insignia attached to the front appears as the top half of a skull with circling tentacles coming out of the bottom of the skull, where the teeth should be. The holes for eyes hold blood red gems that while beautiful, seem dull and do not sparkle as rubies should.
She slowly opens it and quickly reads through the pages.
There is little chance of our ever understanding the various orders of demons and their relationships to hell. Of the varieties of demons that appear in our world, and the varieties of their relationships to their fellows and their demons patrons, there is no end. In one place and time they are seen to be this, and in another place and time they are seen to be the opposite, and in another place and time they are seen to be both this and that, in completely contradictory terms.
There are no limits to the varieties of behaviors that may be observed, and in one place they may be this, and in another place they may that, and all rules describing them are always found to be contradictory and in exception to others. And even were the demons to speak the truth, how can we know if they know themselves, or that there is any truth about them that is to be known or are all arrangements among the demons protean and ever subject to change?
Demons have been around since possibly the beginning of time. Though not much is known about the demons it can only be assumed that they are evil considering any demon summoned or came into contact as ended in the death of those who tried to speak with them or were tricked by them into evil. "Their voices were rich and gutteral, and their tongue was like the crack and boom of rolling thunder" Their language is not very known either though research has shown a few words of them being spoken and have been translated.
One sentence we were able to translate is ayh lat ij drok? Which translates into are you a demon? If the said being says yeuk which means yes then quickly defend yourself. Demons are to never be trusted no matter how nice they seem.
Twilight turned the page but to her dismay it was blank. She turned through all the other pages to find the same thing but then her eyes widened when she remembered she left her friends alone with that thing that might be a demon! Her horn glowed brightly then there was a flash as she teleported.
Zajar just stared at these beings who stared back at him ever since their friend left. It seemed even the energetic pink one was quiet though she still had her smile. So here they were staring at each other. Zajar was cut off from his train of thought as there was a urple flash. Glacning over along with the ponies he saw the purple one returned. "Twilight!" So that was her name.
Twilight ignored her friends as she stared up at Zajar and shouted. "Ayh lat ij drok?" Her friends stared at her with looks of confusion while Zajar was surprised at how she spoke in the demon tongue.
Zajar was quiet for a few minutes then finally spoke. "Yeuk." As the words left his mouth he saw her horn glow before a magic bolt slammed into his face not hurting him but blinding him slightly.
"Wat in tarnation Sugarcube!? Ah understand rainbow but you?"
Twilight kept her eyes on the demon in front of her and explained. "It is a demon! I read a book that explained about its kind." Twilight spoke with venom of this thing.
Zajar recognized that tone. It was the same one humans used and angels alike about his kind. Time to leave.
"Should we get the elements then?"
Before Twilight could answer she was cut off as Zajar began to sprint off towards the forest causing loud booming footsteps. "He's getting away!" Dash shouted as she flew towards him with her friends following suit.
Zajar ran faster as he could hear them trying to catch up to him. He saw a flash of blue and felt something kick his face and let out a grunt of pain. Glancing out of the corner of his eye, he saw it was the blue pony. Not stopping he continued to sprint towards the forest making sure he didn't smash anything. As he was a few feets away he saw a purple shield like thing pop up blocking his path towards the forest. Zajar narrowed his eyes as he sprinted faster and faster.
Twilight and the other caught up to their friend who was sitting on the ground holding her hoof. "I'm fine! It's getting away!"
Twilight glanced towards the forest and began channelling her magic and soon a barrier formed in front of the demon. "That should stop him."
What happened next caused everypony jaw to drop open wide while their eyes grew to the sizes of dinner plates. Instead of stopping Zajar sprinted harder and once he reached the barrier lowered his shoulder ramming into it causing it to break and allowing him to sprint right through it towards the forest where everypony saw him disappear.
The ponies sat there trying to process what happened. Pinkie was the one to break the silence. "Popcorn anypony?"
Zajar ran and ran until he could no longer see the town or village whatever they called. Satisfied he stopped running and stood there for a few minutes. Soon the armor plating on his mouth shifted to the sides where it allowed his mouth to be seen revealing sharp teeth like a great white. He opened his mouth and let out a sigh then had his armor cover his mouth back up again. Looking around at the trees he decided he should shrink so he could hide more easier. His body began to glow bright red as he was shrinking down until he stood at six foot three then his body stopped glowing. Glancing up towards the sky he wondered what else could happen.
Armored Demon Of Equestria
Darkness. That was all Zajar saw, pure and simple. But slowly the darkness soon began to take form. He soon began to his home from where he was born. Hell. The sounds of the damned echoing all throughout the place. The lava lakes where those unfortunate were dipped into as it slowly burned their skin off only for them to be reborn and the process continued again. "Zajar!"
Hearing his name he turned to see a figure that was completely black and couldn't make out their figure or what demon they were. He saw his mouth moving but couldn't hear a word being said. He felt his body moving on its own as he stepped all throughout hell and killing any demon or human in his path while chuckling about it. Was this really him?
"You can choose what you want to be."
What was that? That voice. It sounded so...soft and loving.
"You don't have to be like your kind."
Zajar could feel his body stopping while his whole surrounding turned dark again.
"lat saib olk mushof from alnej! (YOU CAN NOT HIDE FROM ME!)"
Zajar looked everywhere around trying to find the sound of this dark voice but all he saw was darkness. That was when he saw the darkness soon began to be covered in flames with screams of agony coming from within it. Zajar watched as the flame soon began to take form until it formed into a dark red eye that was slitted like a cat's. Around it, was dark fire in the shapes of skulls that seemed to be screaming out in agony. "Avhere lat ayh. (There you are.)" The eye spoke one more time than slammed into Zajar.
Zajar sat straight up painting while planting his hand on his chest. Sweat dripped down his face as he tried to control his breathing. "Nalkra mis kigija? (What was that?)" Zajat thought. It sounded like Yami, but it couldn't be. He never invaded dreams as he preferred more physical means of ending someone so he could hear them scream. What was that, though? That other voice. Zajar glanced up at his surroundings and saw trees. That's right. He did run from those....ponies?
He slowly began to stand to his feet while still glancing around to see if anything was going to attack him or....something. What should he do now? He stopped and slowly turned towards where the town was. Something didn't feel right. His eyes narrowed should he really return to a town that had practically ran him out? Well six of them did but that besides the point. There was a flash of red across the sky. Fire. Zajar could now see smoke rising from there now. He could just check it out now.
An hour earlier.
"CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS CAVE EXPLORERS!" Was the shout of three fillies standing outside a cave.
By this point in time, the village of Ponyville was used to the deafening trio of screams that would burst out from the CMC-clubhouse. Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo had seemingly thought up yet another plan to discover their talents and thus earn their cutie marks. Their ongoing quest was common knowledge among the villagers. The majority of them had already fallen prey to their different attempts to help them with their jobs and professions. More often than not, the results were disastrous. The young fillies always meant well, though, so the villagers took it in stride.
The crusaders’ plans were mostly harmless, usually taking place within the safe borders of Ponyville. But the fillies' plan today was anything but safe. Today, their quest led them to one of the most dangerous areas in Equestria. The great forest that was located just outside the borders of Ponyville: The Everfree Forest to explore a cave they had saw.
“Are you sure about this, Scootaloo?” Sweetie Belle asked somewhat nervously. The excitement that had filled her voice during her and her friends’ shout from before was gone without a trace.
“Oh come on! Don’t tell me you’re having second thoughts,” the purple-maned pegasus replied, skipping several steps ahead of her two friends. “Exploring just HAS to be our talent. We went out that one time remember?"
"First of all we didn't really explore. I don't think we even took more than a hundred steps when Fluttershy saved us from that cockatrice." Apple Bloom replied, the memories of it causing her to shudder a little.
“Hah! We’ve been inside there by ourselves before while visiting Zecora."
“And how will we get Cutie marks from exploring a cave?” Sweetie Belle asked. Scootaloo gave the young unicorn a deadpan look.
"I'm sure we might find something. Like treasure!"
Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom looked over their shoulders towards Ponyville. Both of them were thinking the same thing: the huge scolding they would receive from their families once they found out where they had been. Apple Bloom’s sister Applejack and Sweetie Belle’s sister Rarity would be especially angry.
"I guess you right." Apple Bloom eventually responded.
The three glanced towards the cave, but none of them moved towards it to go inside. It seemed like minutes before they slowly moved inside. The inside of the cave wasn’t so bad, but they saw a couple bones every now and then, although they looked too small to be pony bones.
“Wow! Look at all of this. Pointy things coming from the ceiling, the water dripping down, the darkness and silence, this is awesome!!” Scootaloo shouted with excitement while Applebloom turned sharply and ‘shhh’ed her.
“Quiet! We don’t know what is in this here cave. There could be anything in here! A bear, or maybe even a dragon!” Scootaloo became a bit more cautious by the mention of a dragon.
“But come on, there wouldn’t be a dragon here. . . right?”
The three were silent as they continued into the cave. "Oooof!" Sweetie Belle yelled as she fell over into the other two knocking them to the ground along with her. The three were soon entangled in each others limbs.
"What in the world did you trip over?" Scootaloo asked sarcastically while Sweetie Belle glared at her.
"I did trip over something and it did not feel like a rock."
The three after untangling themselves glanced over to see what tripped........they stared wide-eyed at what tripped Sweetie Belle. Laying on the ground was a gold goblet that lay there. "Guess we found your treasure Scootaloo."
"..."
"Scootaloo?" Sweetie Belle asked after she and Apple bloom noticed she didn't answer. They turned towards her to see her eyes were wide. Glancing to where she was staring their eyes widened as well. In the middle of the cave was piles and piles of gems with some gold here and there. The pile was large enough it seemed almost reach the ceiling.
Scootaloo shook her head then smiled and shouted. "We found treasure!" Sweetie Belle and Applebloom shook off their shock and became exited just as their friend. The three jumped around in joy.
"Did we get our Cutie Marks?!" The three stopped their enjoyment and glanced at their flanks to see but frowned when they didn't have one.
"Nothing."
"Oh come on! "
Scootaloo trotted over to the pile of goodies. "At least we found something." Scootaloo spoke while she picked a gem up and carrying it over to her friends. The pile soon began to slide down as a horn soon began to appear unaware to the three fillies until it showed a snout of something while the rest of it was buried underneath the gems and gold.
"You sure you want to take that?" Sweetie Belle asked as she stared at the gem Scootaloo held. The gem was a simple red one.
"Why not?"
"It might belong to somepony?"
"I highly doubt a pony would live in a cave."
The three began to bicker back and forth at each other until they felt wind blown on them. "Must be an airway in here." Scootaloo commented.
Applebloom turned to say something but stopped as her eyes widened as she stared behind her friends causing them to stare at her with their heads cocked to the side. "What's wrong with you?"
"Look if you want me to I will put it back." Scootaloo commented as she tossed the gem behind her shoulder.
"NO!" Applebloom shouted causing her friends to really stare at her as the gem hit the pile causing more to fall until it revealed a face and a dark green slitted eye that was staring at them and to Applebloom horror it was full of anger.
"Seriously. What it the matter with you?" The two stopped as they heard something moving behind them. The two slowly turned and just like their friend, had their mouths open wide at what was staring at them.
The dragon was covered in sapphire scales and had a sleek and muscular body. His claws and horns were ivory in color, and his wings were dark azure at the tips and almost as black as midnight underneath. From nose to tail, it was as tall as a full grown adult dragon. It stared down at them with its eyes narrowed while it slowly stood to its full height while the three fillies slowly backed away in fear.
"We didn't expect anypony here....or dragon honestly."
"Yeah, we swear we didn't want to disrupt your sleep. We will just let you get back to it."
The dragon snorted with flames coming out of his nostrils. "You will be sorry."
The three fillies were staring at him with confusion which soon turned to fear as he lunged at them with his mouth open and tried to eat him. The three turned and ran making him miss them by an inch. The dragon slowly stood back to its full height and roared that shook the entire cave. He immediately went after them. He stopped outside his cave and saw the three heading to a town. The dragon slowly smiled showing his sharp fangs. He really was hungry and pony did taste good especially when it's cooked with fire. The dragon slowly opened his wings and with one flap he took flight towards the town.
Zajar was outside town and what he saw was not good. The windows were broken, some of the buildings were torn and on fire and the streets deserted. He then heard some voices not too far off so he walked over to the sounds, and what he saw he couldn't believe. There in the center of the town near town hall were all the ponies huddled up in fear. They looked so scared and the reason why was the giant lizard thing that was standing by them. Zajar hid behind a building so it wouldn't see him.
"Why are you doing this!?" Twilight shouted.
The dragon just simply picked up a piece of a broken building and stared at then without care simply tossed it where it slammed into another building destroying it. "For fun really. I have been asleep for a little bit. Plus," - He stared at them licking his lips causing the ponies to press against each other even more. -"Pony meat is good."
"You ruffian!"
"Like I care what you things think." The dragon looked into the crowd of ponies and smirked when he found the three he was looking for. The three fillies that woke him up. He reached inside causing the ponies to scream in fright. He grabbed the Cutie Mark Crusaders by their tails causing them to scream. Zajar watched this with narrowed eyes.
"No…you wouldn't!"
"Oh yes, I will!"
"Applejack help!" Apple Bloom screamed in fear.
"Please let us go!" Sweetie Belle pleaded with tears.
"Let us go! We said we were sorry!" Scootaloo yelled in anger though you could fear in her voice.
"Apple Bloom/Sweetie Belle/Scootaloo/Spike!" Applejack, Rarity and Rainbow Dash yelled.
"Please don't do this, they're just children!" Fluttershy yelled trying to reason with the dragon who simply scoffed at their begging as he held the three in his claw.
The dragon simply held them over his mouth as he prepared to drop them down his throat. "Don't you dare you bastard!" Rainbow Dash screamed.
"We're begging you!" Applejack cried out with tears going down her face.
The dragon was about to let them drop when he stopped as if he was thinking. "Actually, I have a better idea."
The dragon lowered the three to the ground confusing everypony. "You have three seconds to get way before this piece smash you." The dragon reached over and picked up a giant piece.
The three fillies eyes widened in fear and took off running towards the exit of the town while the dragon tossed the piece at them. Time seemed to slow in motion as the piece came closer to the three. The ponies were yelling and screaming. Zajar saw he could save them if he wanted to do. Why should he, though? The others ran him out of town. Did that mean they deserved to die?
The three fillies saw a shadow getting closer to them causing them to glance up to see the building coming down at them. Knowing they couldn't outrun or get out of the way the three embraced each other with tears going down their faces. The building slammed down with a loud thud. The other ponies either stood there in shock or cried. Both Applejack and Rarity cried the hardest holding each other feeling the sorrow and heartbreak of losing their sisters. Rainbow Dash hung her head low crying silently. Even though Scootaloo wasn't related to her she still considered her as a little sister. And Twilight just stood there with a horrified face as tears streamed down her cheeks as she just watched three fillies killed.
"That was fun!"
"You…you horrid monster! You killed them in cold blood!" Pinkie screamed through her tears.
"And did I ever love it. Enough talk now. It's feeding time!" The dragon reached down ready to pluck up his meal when he stopped as he heard something as did the ponies. Glancing over to where he threw the piece they saw it was moving slightly.The ponies and dragon watched in surprise as it was lifted up. The ponies saw it was the demon though he had shrunk or it was his child! To their amazement they saw the three fillies by his feet still hugging each other while staring up at Zajar with tears going down their faces. Zajar held the building up before turning and tossing it down. Afterward, he glanced at the three while they just stared at him.Zajar motioned with his head to an alleyway which the three ran to.
"Who are you to disrupt my fun!?" The dragon yelled while Zajar just glared at him.
Zajar stared at the dragon then glanced towards the ponies who were looking at him. Zajar began to position his body. The ponies watched as it got into some stance with his right whatever back while the left was forward. His right arm was up towards the front while the left was back. The dragon stared confused at this as did the ponies who suddenly found that the dragon was distracted had moved from out behind him. Zajar stood there for a few more second then with a step that uplifted the ground began to sprint towards the dragon who was confused but began to laugh. "Aw ain't that cute! The little thing thinks it can take me on!"
Zajar continued to sprint ignoring all the ponies staring at him as he passed them and focused on the dragon. "Well come then! Hit me with your best shot!" As Zajar was fifty yards way he was reading. Twenty-five yards away. Now. Zajar body glowed a bright light startling the ponies and dragon and especially what happened next. Zajar suddenly grew until he was at eight meters tall just slightly lower than the dragon, coming up to his chin. "What the..." The dragon was cut off Zajar slammed his shoulder into him causing the dragon to let out a grunt and was sent flying backwards and landed on the ground where he skidded a few more feet leaving a drag mark through the ground.
"He can grow his size!" Rainbow Dash yelled while Twilight kept her eyes on him.
'The book said demons are evil. Yet he came to help us. Why?'
Zajar kept his shoulder down for a few more minute than slowly began to stand upright but keeping his eyes on the dragon. There was no sound but the breathing of the dragon showing he was still alive. Zajar with his eyes narrowed walked towards the downed dragon. When he was a few feet away he heard a chuckle. "Fool." The dragon suddenly stood up in the blink of an eye while thrusting his right claw towards Zajar chest. The ponies let out screams of fright as the claw slammed into Zajar chest, but everypony fright soon turned to disbelieve. The dragon let out a roar of pain as he backed a few feet away clutching his right claw with the other. His claw was bent unnaturally and the claws on it were broken and were now laying on the ground.
"How strong is his skin!?" Applejack yelled the question that was on everypony mind.
The dragon snorted out flames in anger. What was this thing? Why won't it just dies?! The dragon snorted one more time but stopped when he saw something out of the corner of his eye. He saw the six ponies that had begged and stood up to him. 'Well, If I can't beat this thing then maybe,' - The dragon flapped his wings once causing him to fly into the air and began gathering fire in his mouth. 'DIE!'
Zajar watched the dragon with eyes narrowed trying to figure out what he saw going to do next when he saw it turned towards those ponies that had run him out of their town and blew fire from his mouth as them with incredible speed. Zajar eyes widened as he saw the flame heading towards them.
The six eyes widened when they saw the flame coming towards them with eyes wide. The flame was moving so fast that they couldn't even move out of the way or for Twilight to summon up a barrier. The six closed their eyes and embraced each other waiting for the flame to consume them.
The dragon continued to spray out fire after fire and finally stopped with a dark smile on his face. "Pony smell good when they are cooked." His eyes widened at what he saw.
The six had their eyes remained closed as they felt the fire going past them causing them to sweat from the heat. The flame stopped. "Does anypony feel on fire?"
"Let me check…nope I'm good and none of you either!" Pinkie shouted.
"How come we......" Twilight voice trailed off as they saw the demon standing in front of them with his arms spread out. His entire body was used as a shield while it was causing his armored skin to glow a low red color.
"He......saved us." Applejack spoke out in shock while she and her friends stared at him.
The dragon growled but stopped as he stared at this thing. That was when an idea struck him.
Zajar's once silver armored skin was now emitting a very low red glow, all most invisible, the dragons lips curved into an evil smile seeing he had done damage to that thing. The dragon yelled "ALL THINGS MUST BURN!!!" while sending another torrent of deadly flames at Zajar remained in place as he protected the ponies behind him.
"This doesn't make any since! He isn't supposed to help us!" Twilight shouted while begin dragged to safety by her friends.
"More running and thinking later egghead!"
Zajar stood there as his skin was growing hotter and hotter. It seemed like the fire would never end. All at once the flames stopped allowing Zajar to be able to see past the flames. He also saw the dragon swinging its other claw at his chest. There was a loud scraping sound as the claws tore through Zajar chest piece causing it to fly where it landed a couple of feet away. Zajar right chest piece was gone while he three scratches on his chest which soon, dark black blood slowly began to seep out. The dragon was smirking the whole time even as Zajar slammed his fist into its chest. The dragon gasped out in pain only to have Zajar elbow slam into his face knocking him to the ground causing dust to scatter everywhere.
The dragon spat out blood and tried to get back up only be slammed back into the ground by Zajar foot which held him there. For the first time in his life the dragon felt fear which grew as he saw this thing raise it hand and clenched it into a fist that was aimed down at him.
The ponies watched this with eye while Twilight eyes were narrowed. "He is going to kill him. All demons do." Twilight stated causing her friends to glance at her before turning back to Zajar.
Zajar stared down at the dragon who was shaking in fear as he stared up at Zajar. He could easily kill him. All it would take is to hit the dragon straight in the throat crushing it and allowing him to suffocate to death slowly. Why was he hesitating in doing it though? What was holding him back? Zajar stared at the dragon and to everypony surprise moved off while the dragon just kept his eyes on him thinking this was just a trick. Zajar simply nodded his head to the side. The dragon realised what he was saying and looking by those eyes he could tell that he shouldn't ever come back. With one flap of his wings the dragon flew off while Zajar watched him.
"Sugarcube. I thought you said demons don't show mercy?"
'Is it possible that the books were wrong? Or was he not a demon? He speaks the language, though.' Twilight thought.
Zajar satisfied that the dragon left looked over to where his armor piece had broken off only to see it melted by the heat causing him to sigh as he knew the next thing was going to hurt a lot.
"He's hurt!" Fluttershy said as she tried to fly over to him but was pulled back by Rainbow.
"Are you insane Shy? This could be a trick!" Rainbow shouted as she glared at Zajar.
"Are ya sure it isn't from you hurting yourself on his armor skin?" Applejack asked causing the said pegasus to glare at her.
"Hey what is he dong?" Pinkie asked while munching on popcorn and drinking a soda.
The ponies turned towards Zajar who bent his knees and looked like he was in pain. "I think he doesn't look so good."
Zajar body was in tremendous pain but he had to do it. The ponies eyes went wide as they saw the missing piece on his chest was slowly growing back!
"That's scientifically impossible!"
Zajar didn't any attention them but instead raised his head screaming inside his armored mouth so they couldn't hear him. There was a splash of black blood that coated his chest as the armored piece grew back in full. Zajar panted in pain for a minute than turned towards the ponies causing them to tense up. Hearing sounds he turned to see the three he saved run up to the six ponies he met before, the one with the pink bow went up to the orange pony with the cowboy hat, the little unicorn to the white one with purple hair, and the orange Pegasus to the rainbow mane one.
"Oh thank Celestia that you're alright. I thought I lost you, Sweetie Belle." Rarity cried in happiness.
"I'm happy too, I was so scared. I thought I was never going to see you again." Sweetie cried.
"I thought I was going to die too big sis." Apple Bloom sniffled into her coat.
"There, there sugar cube, it's all over now. You're safe." Applejack hugged her close.
"I don't want to go through that again." Scootaloo said while hugging Rainbow Dash close.
"Don't worry about that squirt, I won't let it happen to you again…I promise." She said.
"And it seems everypony is ok, nopony is missing. Thank Celestia that it's all over." Pinkie Pie said.
"And it's thanks to him. He saved us all." Sweetie Belle said pointing her hoof at Zajar.
They all turned to Zajar knowing she was right, but Zajar knew they were going to run away from him. He waited for it but was surprised to see Twilight slowly walk up to him. Still staring at her he began to shrink until he stood over Twilight where she came up to his stomach. Twilight walked up and stared up into his eyes.
"Thank you so much for saving us all. For saving those, we care for with all our hearts. We tried to stop him ourselves…but he overpowered us and captured us. We thought we were all going to die, but then you came and saved us…but why? We drove you away. And yet you came to our rescue."
Zajar didn't say a word not even in his language but simp,y stared at Twilight who was becoming nervous. 'Was he mad?'
Zajar stared at her for another minute then raised his right towards Twilight making the ponies tense while Twilight shook in fear. She quickly closed her eyes not wanting to see......petting? Her eyes snapped open to see he was simply rubbing her mane, not too rough or soft.She simply stared at him even as he began to back away after a few minutes of doing it. He stared at her then turned around to walk back into the forest.
"WAIT!" Zajar turned only to be slammed into by three small fillies. Glancing down he saw it was the three he saved holding him......a hug?
"Please don't go!"
They didn't want him to leave?
"You saved us! You don't deserve to live a creepy forest!"
"Yeah stay here!"
Zajar stared down at them not really sure what to do. He has never been hugged before or asked to stay.
Twilight stared at him in deep thought. She still wasn't sure she trusted him yet, but he did save them. That's it! She could have him stay at her library as she tries to figure him out more and even ask Celestia for help. Why did she have a feeling this was going to be bad.
Armored Demon Of Equestria
Zajar stood at a table staring at......a lizard or something the ponies called a dragon. The dragon itself had purple skin, a green underbelly, green spikes, green fin-like ears and green eyes. The dragon was staring at him in wonder even as Twilight slept upstairs. Zajar must admit he didn't expect the purple one to invite him to stay at her house even though he saved the town. He could still see the mistrust in her eyes of him but there was slight fear and that was better than the other day. Zajar also remembered how he met this dragon. By that he means as soon as Spike saw him, he grabbed a frying pan and slammed it into Zajar face only for his eyes to go wide when he saw the frying pan completely bent.
Twilight scolded the young dragon and made him apologize which Zajar replied back in the demon tongue which, of course, caused Spike to cock his head to the side before walking off and muttering something about Twilight and her friends always find the weird ones. This was yesterday and now the two were staring at each other. Spike warmed up to Zajar slightly. Especially when he lay down on the guest bed only for it to break causing Spike to laugh so hard he couldn't breathe while Twilight scolded him again and this was all yesterday.
"So.......Twilight says you a demon." Spike awkwardly said trying to strike up a conversation.
Zajar nodded his head yes.
"You can understand us but not speak our language."
Once again Zajar nodded his head yes. 'This is really getting annoying.' Zajar thought. The two looked up when they heard the door to the library open. Glancing over the two saw the Cutie Mark Crusaders who were looking at Zajar. 'What are they up to?'
"Hey Spike, 'Zajar'." Sweetie Belle spoke with a big empshis on Zajar name.
Zajar just raised an eyebrow at them.
"Hey, Spike want to go somewhere?" Scootaloo asked with a smirk.
Zajar and Spike shared a glance at each other.
As they walked through the dark forest, Zajar couldn’t help but stare incredulously at the three fillies and dragon trembling by his feet. Ever since they had entered the Everfree Forest, they had been looking around, shivering in what Zajar could only assume was fear. Apparently the forest made them feel uneasy. Zajar couldn’t see it, however. The forest looked normal, maybe a little on the dark and creepy side, but besides that it felt normal to him.
Zajar poked Spike in the shoulder causing him to jump in fright while the three fillies laughed at him. Spike glanced up at him which Zajar simply pointed. It seemed Spike got the question.
“Just a little further,” the young drake said, glancing around at the surrounding trees for the umpteenth time. He was practically glued to Zajar leg. All four of them flinched when a low growl sounded out close by. Zajar froze, his senses going on overdrive. Swiveling his head looking for what made th sound. There were several tense seconds of silence, followed by another low growl.
“Scootaloo, I thought I told ya tah eat before we left,” Applebloom whispered, her backside pressed up against my leg. “Tell ya stomach tah knock it off.”
“T-that wasn’t me,” Scootaloo said, her wings hanging limp at her sides. Both girls turned to look at Sweetie Belle. She looked back and forth between the two of them before shaking her head. If it wasn’t any of them, that what was it? Zajar glanced down at Spike only to see he was staring at something over behind him, his pupils were shrunken and his mouth was hanging open. Zajar stared at the horror look on his face.
Zajar heard something rustled in the vegetation behind him. He suddenly became aware of the fact that it was almost deathly quiet: the birds had stopped singing. Zajar turned to see what it was.
Three large creatures were slowly emerging out from the underbrush. The beasts were huge; looming over Zajar by at least 2 feet. They looked like someone had taken a giant lion and slapped a pair of bat wings, and a scorpion tail onto it. All three of them were glaring down at them, a hungry look in their blood red eyes. Their mouths were open, fangs gleaming in the dim light as drool fell to the forest floor below. As Zajar stared them, he was dimly aware of his companions pressing up against his legs, and the sound of whimpering reached his ears.
The creatures growled again, sending a shiver through the little ones which Zajar felt in his leg. Zajar didn't feel fear at these things but was more curious than anything. One of the manticores, the one on the right, snarled, cracking its tail behind it causing Zajar right to clench into a fist as his eyes narrowed.
"I knew it was a bad idea to go to Zecora's." Spike commented as the four gripped Zajar leg tighter causing him to glance down at them.

Zajar wanted to argue with the voice within his body, but he couldn't help but feel it would be fun. Zajar took a step back only to look down when he saw the dragon and fillies still standing there. They were too busy staring up at the manticores, trembling in terror. The lead manticore tired of waiting pounced towards its meal. The four stood there with wide eyes as it was within a few feet of them with its claws swinging down at them. Before the claws reached them, Zajar fist flew over the three heads and slammed into its face causing it be sent flying backwards where it slammed into a tree then slammed down onto the ground with its head resting against it knocked out with blood dripping down its maw.
The other two manticores glanced back to their friend and slowly turned back to their meal. Spike blinked a few more times and glanced up at Zajar who stepped in front of them acting like a shield so the beasts couldn't get to them. Thr manticore felt sweat dripping down their faces. This thing was outnumbered by two yet it didn't show any fear. They felt fear themselves as they stared at its eyes. The two manticores shared a glance with each other and ran over to their fallen comrade. Lifting him up the two ran off.
"I never saw manticores run before." Spike commented with eyes wide and in amazement despite the fact just a few minute ago was terrified.
Zajar just stared at the running things to make sure they were gone. Once sastified he turned to the four with a stern expression though they couldn't really see cause of the armor on his face. They could still see it in his eyes. "I take it your mad?" A nod yes.
"We can still go see Zecora?"
Zajar shook his head no causing the four to become crestfallen. "Mah sister is goin to kill me."
Zajar shook his head no then simply raised a finger to his mouth showing them it was going to be quite. The four smiled as they began to follow him back to Ponyville.
The five were more relaxed since they exited the forest. Zajar simply watched the three fillies run off while he and Spike walked back to the library. "So......ever played a card game?"
Zajar stared at him and shook his head no causing thew dragon to chuckle. The two reached the library and opened it to see something new. Zajar saw Twilight along with two other guests.
One of them, the largest, had a radiant white coat, a mark of a glorious sun, yet its tail and mane were the most fascinating. They reminded Zajar heavily of the Aurora Borealis; a mix of pink, blue and green that flowed in an unseen wind. The other horse, though smaller, looked no less… majestic. It had a dark blue coat and a mark of a crescent moon. Its mane and tail was also quite interesting, this one looking like a view into a gorgeous night sky, littered with stars and hemmed by a flowing blue outline.
Zajar also noticed a yellow orb of magic coming at him.
Armored Demon Of Equestria
Hell, the place where nightmares of every being come alive. The world where demons roam freely and do as they please. Only with the rule of Yami, The God Of Hell himself with his army of legions of demons of all kinds, it is his presence alone that quells down the countless lesser demons from acting out foolishly. Hell is where all sinners are placed when found guilty by Kami's court. Rapists, murderers, child abusers, every sinner is brought there no matter how much they protest to them being innocent are dragged down by the hands of hell where they are forever tortured for an eternity bound by the chains of hell with no hope of salvation. It is also where I live...
Heaven, the hells most hated realm, it is where the high and mighty deities of every god reside besides Yami and he would only go when summoned for a meeting for all gods. that realm is ruled by the old gods who are ruled upon by Kami himself. Though he rules; the beings in heaven think they can get away with many things since they are the 'holy' ones and by the mercy and forgiveness of Kami.
Then there is the third realm or third kingdom known as Shara Wor which in the demon tongue means the human world. It is there Kami's creations flourish and are watched over by heaven's watchful eyes or in some cases hell's for when there is a sinner, they are dragged down here where they are tortured for their sins for an eternity. Though the humans are protected by heaven, they are the most hated ones in hell. The demons see them as nothing more than arrogant despicable wastes of existence and deserve nothing more than an eternity of pain and torture where they are beaten and eaten by the demons only to have their bodies regenerate and go through the excruciating pain all over again. The flames of hell burn their flesh away and turn their bones to ash, all while their cries echo through out hell.
Things had been peaceful between heaven and hell though heaven did not know of the storm that was coming. Over centuries, Yami had been growing his army with the souls of dead humans he turned into demons with no minds of their own but only those he found strong while other were left to suffer their fates. The first step.....was to launch an all out invasion on the human world. Yami wanted these disgusting humans completely destroyed so he could rule two worlds and then eventually heaven.
It was here that ground burst open all over the world turning the sky blood red. Demons of all types came from the holes slaughtering everything in their path be it female, male or child. None were spared in the demon's path. The human military quickly rose to try to fight back these demons but were overmatched but did not stop them from fighting back.
The city of Chicago was one place of battle. Buildings burned with some missing chunks from them while people on streets ran fro their life's as they abandoned their vehicles that blocked streets. Mothers clutched their children to their chests while fathers held them close as they fled. The human military brought in their war machines and fired everything they had at the oncoming demons killing many of them. On top, a building staring down at the chaos was a bipedal figure. It seemed human if it wasn't for the fact the way it looked. The figure was six foot three and had dark gray plates of hardened skin covering the entirety of his body, except for muscles behind his knees, elbows, and feet. His eyes are covered by golden organic lenses. His hair was grey and was short. The figure continued to stared down at the chaos that was happening.
'Zajar! Sto standaumn aro agh drepa ul hu!' A dark voice spoke inside the demon known as Zajar. He knew it was the god of hell that was giving him the command.
Zajar stood there not really sure what to think. He is supposed to hate all humans! Why has he started to feel this way for the last hundred years and why can't he remember what happen!?
He was cut from his thoughts as he heard crying coming from down below. Glancing towards the sound he saw a small child that looked to be about four years old. He also saw a cro, a demon that was like a crocodile, but was made up of nothing but lava and was about twenty-five foot long and was slowly making its way towards the child knocking vehicles out of its way. He also heard a woman screaming and saw what he thought was the mother of the child running towards him. Even as the cro walked slowly towards its meal, Zajar knew the mother wouldn't get there in time and even if she did they both would end up becoming its meal. Zajar clenched his fist so tight that his armored skin was making popping sounds.
“Faave chouke for alnej ve be ij kulshodar. . . . . . buav do jiak have ve be?" Zajar thought out loud as he watched the scene unfold.
Fate.
Almost suddenly Zajar stopped clenching his fist. Though all he could focus on was the faces of the child who was only a few feet away from the cro even as it opened its mouth while the mother screamed. He exhaled and closed his eyes. The words quietly slipped out from his mouth.
“No faave buav kigija nalkrulji kulknej mak….”
His eyes snapped open with a look of determination as he made his choice. He jumped from the building heading down towards the cro as it mouth opened wide towards the child. Zajar body began shoot out steam slightly as he fell quickly through the air. The cro mouth was a few feet away from the child getting ready to swallow only to stop as a giant armored foot smashed its head completely squishing it while also causing a loud boom sound shaking the area and making the child fall on his butt while leaving a foot imprint that was filled with blood. Zajar stared down at the dead demon than slowly turned towards the child who was staring up at him no longer crying but a curious expression. Zajar watched as the mother grabbed her child while glancing fearfully up at him and running off. Zajar watched as they ran off and only turned around. He had grown his body and now stood at fifteen meters making him tower over all the buildings surrounding him.
"ZAJAR!" A deep powerful voice yelled with nothing but pure hatred in it behind him. Zajar turned around to see demons looking at him. Zajar narrowed his eyes at them all. There appeared to be only seven of them and each were glaring at him with an absolute look of hatred but than again hatred was all demons were known for.
"Nalkra have lat dun?! The demon in front shouted with anger. Zajar stared at it and realized this one was a bunr, a bat-like demon that shared characteristics with humans but had grey hashish skin with red eyes that had a gold slit in them. Their hands were sharp with bone like pikes sticking out of their forearms.
Zajar simply stared at them all not saying a word. He already made his choice and wasn't going to back down now. He knew he could take down these seven. Glancing up towards the red sky he saw many demons flying around looking for their next victim or meal. He wouldn't be able to hold back hell's legion. The demons not liking his answer summoned their bone pikes. A few of them licked them as they began to advance towards the Zajar though he towered over them. As they walked towards there was a loud sound causing every demon to stop as they slowly looked towards the sky to see it turning white.

The sound came again and every demon knew what it meant. Zajar watched as arrows slammed into demons which were soon followed by angels bursting through the sky in armor carrying weapons as they slammed into the demons. The seven standing near Zajar all growled and flapped their wings once taking off towards the sky. Zajar watched the battle unfold before. He saw both demon and angel being cut down. He suddenly heard a loud roar and knew who it was. Yami. Glancing towards the sound he saw a giant claw slam into a group of building smashing them. He watched as a giant wing slowly extended that looked ripped and dead. Next a giant head appeared full of teeth. His long body was black with his scales and his dark plating that covered most of it. Fiery liquid coursing through him in between the plating, some of it dropping on the ground, turning the ground it hit black. Two black and red wings adorned his back. Each of them easily the size of himself. On his tail was a long spear tip made of the same metal that covered most of his body.
Zajar watched as Yami launched a fireball from his mouth towards something and Zajar saw a figure glowing so bright he couldn't make out its appearance, but he knew that this was Kami, the god of heaven. Kami immediately launched his own ball that was made of pure light towards Yami causing the two spells to slam into each other making a loud boom sound while also lighting up the sky with a flash of white and fire. Zajar eyes widened as he saw the battle rage across the sky with every spell strike the earth shook as if it was shaking i fear of these two mighty deities.
"ZAJAR!"
The said demon eyes widened as heard Yami yell and with it Zajar could hear nothing but the screaming of souls in agony from within Yami. His eyes widened more when he saw the god of hell turn toward him his fiery red turned towards him. "Elp alnej egur kigiji palay!"
Zajar stared at him before he slowly looked up towards Kami who was staring down at him, not of anger or disgust. Zajar didn't know what to do. He was being ordered by his god to help destroy the god of heaven. He should be following orders! Yami had never tolerated traitors and would surely kill him than simply raise him again. "You don't have to do this." Zajar train of thought stopped as he heard Kami speaking to him. It was powerful just like Yami, but it carried love within it......even towards a demon like him?
Yami going inpatient from his own demon not moving shouted once more shaking the entire area. "lat fool! help alnej drepa naj-ri!"
Zajar ignored him as he stared up at Kami not really sure what to think. "You are what you choose to be. You may have been born a demon, but you can still choose what to be."
Yami let out a loud roar and began gathering fire into his mouth then launched it towards Kami who in return launched his own magic towards Yami. The two spells slammed into each other sending sparks everywhere as the light of Kami magic pushed against the dark fire of Yami. Zajar stood there watching glancing from one deity to the other.
Choose.
Zajar remembered the child he saved ten minutes ago. He could have left him to his fate, but chose to save him.
"No faave buav kigija nalkrulji kulknej mak...agh choouke."
With his choice made, Zajar sprinted as fast as he could towards Yami, with his foot smashing the ground with every step while also leaving a foot imprint on the ground. Zajar sprinted faster and faster then lowered his should as he slammed all his weight into Yami who didn't even budge. Zajar stood there with his shoulder slammed into Yami, who turned his eyes towards Zajar with nothing but promises of pain, death, and torture in them. Zajar stepped back as he stared up at Yami who simply swung his tail. Zajar tried to raise his arms but wasn't fast enough
as the tail slammed into him knocking him backwards into a build causing to break from his weight. Zajar laid there lying on his back with his vision being blurry. He slowly sat up as there was a loud boom shaking the entire area.
Zajar went to stand up but stopped ah heard a loud boom as something landed right in front of him. He slowly looked up its legs all to the head and there he saw Yami glaring down at him. Zajar glared right back him even as Yami opened his mouth. Zajar stared at him knowing he wouldn't be able to dodge this spell as this distance. Instead of fire, there was nothing. Zajar went to move but fell to his back screaming from behind the armor that protected his mouth. He could feel his body being pulled apart! Everything was screaming in agony. Zajar opened his eyes to see Yami mouth was glowing purple and he could see little purple things coming out of his body going into Yami mouth.
"Ukince lat won'av ukerve alnej. . . . . lat saib afar givaumn alnej your powas agh life!" Yami yelled as he continued sucking the life and power out of Zajar slowly as possible to cause the most pain. Zajar could only sit there twitching in pain as he was dying. Yami stopped all of a sudden when he felt a ball of light slammed into his face sending him crashing through buildings. Zajar opened his eyes slowly to see Kami holding his hand outwards than lowered it and took off after Yami leaving Zajar laying there in pain. He also saw he was shorter than before making him eight meters now making it where he was only tall as a two story building. He summoned his power trying to make himself grow but received nothing.
"Ukince lat won'av ukerve alnej. . . . . lat saib afar givaumn alnej your powas agh life!" Yami voice yelled making him realize that Yami had stolen most of his power. Grunting he slowly sat up but stopped when he saw shadows above him. He slowly looked up towards the sky to see angels with bows and arrows notched pointing at him. He saw probably about fifty of them. There was no way he could dodge them especially now. He slowly got to his knee and pushed himself up struggling the whole time. He looked up once more just in time to see an angel yelling something. He watched as they released their arrows causing them to sail down at him whipping through the air. He watched as they approached him causing him to close his eyes so he wouldn't watch them stab into his body. Instead of feeling the arrows hit his armored skin he instead heard them slamming into something. He snapped his eyes open to see he was surrounded by a barrier of light. He and the angels turned and saw Kami with his hand held up towards Zajar glowing while he also had a smile on his face.
"He ukavun alnej? Nalkroro?" Zajar spoke out loud. Why would the god of heaven save him, a demon of hell. It made no sense! Heaven is supposed to despise hell yet their god saved him while also giving him a loving smile like he did with all his creations especially seen in the humans. His thoughts were cut off as a loud roar shook the entire area. Glancing over he saw Yami burst through the buildings with his wings spread out while his feet had begun heat up causing lava to burst from them to leak into the city. Yami so evil that even his own blood had changed into lava.
He watched as the two began to charge their magics while still staring at each other. Their power began to glow brighter and darker. Zajar watched this continue knowing this would be the last attack to decide whether the human world will survive or be burned. He stopped as he heard more crying and glancing towards the direction he saw a young girl crying in the middle of where the two gods attacks would connect. So deep in concentration that Kami didn't hear the child and Yami didn't care if he did. Zajar stood there thinking once more trying to decide again. What is with these strange feeling! He continued to watch as Kami threw his hands together and forward while Yami raised his back and threw it forward. Time seemed to slow down as Zajar watched this happen and he sprinted towards the child. The blasts neared each other. Zajar knowing he wouldn't make it in time dove with his hand stretched out. He was able to shove the girl out of the way just as the beams slammed into him. The last thing he saw was the girl family running towards and without knowing it smiled beneath his armored mouth.
A sweet milkshake was gently placed on the wooden table before a cyan hoof claimed it for herself. Following this, four more drinks landed on the surface before they too were taken by hooves of various colors. A fifth drink, larger than the rest, never made it to the table as it was already in grasp of its owner, who had a pink hoof.
The Elements of Harmony were gathered inside a sweets cafe enjoying each others company whilst they discussed personal matters that had transpired recently. The topic would be on whomever spoke first, and this time, the pony of benevolent arrogance opened her mouth first. “Nothing has really happened recently around here, Ponyville is starting to look dull again!”
Pinkie squiggled her hoof in a teasing yet forewarning fashion, “Famous last words!” She snickered before her eyes shot wide open and smiled formed on her face. “Oh yeah, I’m working on a new pastry!” Pinkie slammed her drink on the table her voice traveling faster than her thoughts. “Its gonna be a cupcake with a cream filling! I’m still trying to work out the filling though, it has to be just right! Not too thick, but not runny either, and it’s also not supposed to be sour, but I’ll…”
Shutting Pinkie out of her thoughts, AppleJack’s ears rose up when a memory clicked in her head, “Speaking of food,” She said drawing the attention of the others, “Ah for one am excited for Apple Bucking Day!” her expression softened in her state of reminiscing, “Oh that is one of my favorite times of the year, plenty of goods ta bake and sell!” Applejack sipped at her apple soda-vanilla float, concluding her announcement.
Rainbow Dash, who sat across from AJ, raised an eyebrow. “Yeah... okay then.” With no comment to build on the topic, she turned her attention towards Rarity as she was placing down her strawberry shake.
A quiet voice made itself known, partly hidden behind a banana frosty. “Maybe to a beach, it’s a quiet nearby getaway...”
“But Flutters dear, you already live on the edge of town.” Inquired Rarity repeating the tube cleaning action again.
Fluttershy shrank back into her seat a bit, “I know, but Angel says I need to take a break from the animals every once and a while... They have been getting restless lately, but I can't figure out why…” Fluttershy had barely touched her drink which was beginning to melt.
An empty glass covered in a lavender glow made impact on the wood harder than necessary, startling the few around her. Its owner had wolfed the drink down to the last drop, “Ahhhh…” Twilight leaned back for a moment to let herself breathe before building on the topic, “That sounds like an excellent idea Fluttershy!” She stood up straight in her chair in an attempt to overlook her companions, but suddenly the downed shake came back to bite her in the flank with a brainfreeze. “Gah! Owww…” With a quick spell the freeze vanished. But not without her friends chuckling and giggling at the display of gluttony's price.
“Yay!” Pinkie exclaimed with her fourth drink in hoof held up high. “Field Trip!”
The rest of her friends examined the slice of the table which belonged to their pink friend, where three extra large milkshake glasses (each being a different flavor) stood empty and dry.
“Pinkie,” Rainbow proclaimed with her face expressing wonder. “You must teach me your ways of eating...”
“My young cupcake,” She began to bounce out the room with a martial arts bandana on her head. “You are not ready.”
Rainbow pleaded her case. “But I can eat a whole meal in ten seconds flat as is!”
“But, my young grasshopper, that is why you fail!” Pinkie giggled as if something funny was said causing her friends to shake their heads at their friend with smiles on their faces.
"Ponyville is still looking dull!" Rainbow pointed out again. Twilight opened her mouth but was cut off by a loud boom and everypony watched in shock as a wave of white and black, magical energy rushed towards everypony who froze in fear as it went over them. For a few seconds, the whole world turned white and black around them with loud thunder being heard. Even the light of the sun was seemingly replaced by this new, dominant colors. The echoing thunder could still be heard once the world returned to normal. For what must at least have been a few minutes, they simply sat on there petrified. Their eyes focused outside where the color finally disappeared for good and thunder faded away.
Rainbow was the first to break out of her trance. "What was that?"
No pony said anything, but they heard the commotion going on outside. Turning towards the window they saw ponies running toward some direction. "Come on let's go!" Rainbow shouted as she flew out the door before any of her friends could stop her. The group all ran out the door after their friend and followed her trail by following other ponies.
"Wat in blaze is going on!?" Applejack shouted as they ran with the crowd.
"I don't know!" Twilight shouted back but sweat drop when she saw Pinkie Pie literally swimming on top of ponies like one does in a pool. She even had goggles on. Twilight shook her head and ran.
"Dash!" The said pony was standing on the ground when they reached her but she had her mouth open wide.
"Dashie if you leave your mouth open like that then you will eat flies," Pinkie commented before giggling.
Dash simply raised her hoof behind them. "Egghead. What is that thing?'
The girls were confused about what she said and slowly turned around only for their mouths to drop in shock. Crouched down on a knee while it had its arms hanging at its side. The thing towered over the ponies even crouched and looked to be as tall their building if it stood up.
The thing was covered in gold like armored skin mostly on its front. What creeped the ponies out was the fact they could see its flesh instead of skin. Everypony simply stood there staring at not taking a chance to move towards it. Twilight swallowed the lump in her throat as she slowly began walking towards it causing her friends to flinch. Twilight took a few uneasy steps towards it. The tension was high. She took one step just as the thing eyes opened causing her to freeze while everypony let out screams of fright and backed up.
