My life as a foal was fine, it was only till I was a filly when my life went downhill.
I was raised in Ponyville by my mother. One day I asked her, "Where's dad?" Her head fell and she closed her eyes. "H-he's not gonna be coming back... Just remember this name, sweetie." I nodded my head, confused by what she meant. "StarShooter" She said in a soft voice after standing up and leaving to her room.
StarShooter, that name has stuck with me ever since.
After a few days, my mother never left her room. No noises were heard but a bunch of sobbing. I opened her door quietly, thinking she was sleeping. My stomach growled and I cringed.
"Ooooo..." I moaned, my stomach was hurting and my mother never fed me anything since.
I looked at my mother's face. It was damp and puffy from all her crying. No tissues, nothing. Her bed was soaked as well as her hooves. She didn't care, she didn't move a muscle, her eyes were open and they stared at the bed spread.
"Mommy?" I cocked my head, refusing to get on the bed to take a closer look at my motionless mother.
Weeks passed and my mother never left, I learned how to cook on my own and had to feed myself. I would always make bread for my mom though. I opened her door, balancing a tray on my head. I carefully placed it on her side table and left without a word.
I began to despise my mother because of this "shutdown". She left me for dead and didn't care about anything. She was being so selfish! I just made me want to hit her and run away.
The moon rose above Ponyville. My mother was still in a "coma". I jumped onto my bed and tucked myself in. Turning on my side, I closed my eyes.
Screams echoed and I was being chased. A pony in a black cape over his face, concealing his identity was holding a knife in his mouth. The knife rose up and cut me. I shrieked in pain as tears filled my eyes. The knife kept cutting until I stopped moving. Everything faded to black and I never came back.
My head shot up and I screamed in horror. I blinked a few times and looked around. I was alive and in my room. "I-It was a dream?" I thought to myself, I put my head back down but didn't close my eyes. I was too traumatized at this point to go to sleep. All of the sudden the world went black.
I opened my eyes to see that I was in fact, not in my house anymore. A metal rope was tied around my head into my mouth to prevent me from screaming or talking. My head turned and my eyes darted around. I couldn't move, I was cuffed to a metal table. I tried to make out a loud noise, but all that came out was a bmmff!.
It echoed around the darkness of the room.. Nopony was around.
A few lights turned on, it was dim but it was enough to see my surroundings. My eyes widened at the sight before my eyes. A wave of fear shot through my spine and I shuddered.
An iron maiden was standing upright in the corner of the room, blood stained on its old wood and metal. A bed of nails was on the side of the room. The nails looked like they were just sharpened somehow. An eye gouger was near the middle. Blood drenched on its sharp tip. The walls were painted with dark, crusted blood. A carpet of blood covered the floor, draining down a slanted ramp that led to a sewer. Cracks were all over the walls, a lot of small ones. There was only one or two deep ones.
My stomach churned at the sight and I felt nauseated. My head spun and my I felt like I would pass out again. Something splashed on my face. My eyes shot open in fear and my body twitched. It bothered me, not knowing what landed on my face.
I tilted my head up as far as I could.
"Oh my...!" I thought as I processed what I just saw.
The ceiling was painted black, red blotches of blood were scattered around. Drops of blood falling to the floor, landing with a plink. I squinted my eyes and searched the blackness.
I tried to gaps but nothing came out. The blood splatters were organized in a fashion that read something.
"Goodbye, StarDash" Is what it read.
I gagged and almost hurled, my heart skipped a beat and I squirmed. I started thrashing and tried to break the cuffs to free myself from this horrible place.
My head moved on its side and I was greeted with bunch on knives.
I shrieked in my mind and I moved my head up. Two knives cut my eye all the way down my cheek. I turned my head and tears formed in my eyes. The eye that was cut was firmly shut, unable to open.
Blood trickled down my cheek and onto my neck. Sending a jolt through my body, mainly my back. I shuddered in fear and disgust. "Who's doing this to me?" I thought. My head helplessly turned to any direction it could go.
A metal cuff extended out of the table I lay on. It wrapped around my neck, preventing me from seeing too much. My eyes grew wide and my ears perked up. I heard somepony. A click clack came from the left of the dark, death-ridden room. My throat became dry and my heart pounded to the point where it felt like it would explode. My breathing became faster, making my head spin.
"Who's there?" Is what I wanted to say. I tried, but the metal rope cut my lip. Blood spilt into my mouth. The rope kept my mouth open, forcing me to swallow the red liquid. I coughed, almost choking on my own blood. Though it was gross, the blood actually tasted decent.
"Hello, StarDash.." An eerie voice spoke. The voice defiantly belonged to a male. The darkness of the room prevented me from seeing his face.
My body flung about as an attempt to un-bind myself. Sweat dripped down my face and onto the metal table I was cuffed to. I tried screaming, but the blood flowing down my throat disabled my ability to shriek or talk.
"Such a desperate one..." The voice scolded, stepping out, into a light that had just flickered on. His fur was yellow and he has a short, orange and red mane. The strands flowed down to the left of his side. His tail was a short tuft of hair. On his flank was a bright cutie mark of big flames that extended down his thigh.
He walked over to my head. He took the rope in his mouth and ripped it off.
I screamed as loud as I could, the sound echoed many times. The darkness felt like it crept closer and engulfed me in shadows. I felt like I was running away, like in my nightmare I had the last night I could remember.
My eyes widened when I remembered the knife. If the dream was going to play itself out in real life. Then I'd be killed. The thought perished the good part of my mind. Ridding every bit of caring and compassion.
I heard loud hoofsteps. A small colt with a red fur coat and yellow hair stumbled out from the blue. He jumped up onto a bloody, wooden stool to reach my level. I glanced over at his face, shock consuming me. It was ClashBolt, a colt that was in my magic class who was a bully. I tried my best to glare at him, all I could hope was that I could scare him away.
"Daddy, why are you waiting?" He complained to the stallion in front of me.
"Hush, Clash. I want her to suffer mentally first!" A grin spread across his face and his eyes were filled with evil. His head was right above mine and I could see my reflection in his glossy eyes.
I couldn't keep the glare for much longer and my facial expression changed in an instant. My eyes were full of fear, as well as everything else on my body.
"P-Please don't kill me..!" I pleaded, hoping he would free me. Though there was probably a 0.01% chance of that happening.
He cackled and bigger smirk grew on his face. "I love it when they beg!" My fear and suffering was his twisted delight.
His face suddenly went serious and he looked at his son. "Get the name plate." He ordered. Clash nodded and dashed out the room as eager as ever. He came back with a shining gold tablet on his head. He placed on a wooden table in front of me.
"Look closely. What does it say?" The stallion demanded. I squinted my eyes as the shine from the light and gold made my eyes burn.
I gasped when I finished reading.
"StarShooter, RIP" I read, that name. That's the name that caused my mother to breakdown. My father's name. I didn't comprehend what it meant. Why did they have it? What are they going to do to me? All these questions I had were left hanging.
"W-Why..? Do you h-have that..?" I asked so quiet the stallion didn't hear. But, Clash bounced up and down excitedly.
"Your father, daddy killed him before we were born~!" He cheerfully hummed.
"You did WH-" My sentence was cut short by a bandana being draped over my mouth and tied tightly to the back of my head, which pulled on my mane. My whimpers, screams and noises were all muffled and almost silenced by this red fabric tied to my face. Please, don't!! is what I so desperately wanted to say.
My eye continued to bleed and bleed from the two knives from earlier. Which created a big pool of red blood that dripped off the edges of the table.
"Can we start now, daddy!?" Clash became impatient and whined to his father to hurry up.
"Yes! Now grab my tools." The stallion said with an evil, twisted smile. His eyes seemed like they flashed red for a second. But all the tension down in the dark room might be making me hallucinate.
The colt nodded and jumped off his stool and ran as fast as he could into the darkness. After a few seconds, he returned carrying many sharp torture tools. Knives, needles, hacksaws, etc.
A tear rolled down my cheek and my heart sank. This was really it. I was going to die, here. Without saying goodbye to my mother even though I despised her.
"Aww, how cute, she's crying!" Clash taunted me by slapping me across the face.
I flinched and my legs twitched. I shook my head, trying to communicate to the hopeless colt. Clash just smacked me again, harder than last one. There was a red mark on my left cheek. I growled and snapped my jaws, although all I got was bloody bandana in my mouth.
"Clash, move!" The stallion yelled, holding a knife in the air using magic.
"Yes, father..." Clash gulped and moved his stool away from the table.
"Alright, let's see how strong you are, StarDash." Was the last word he spoke before heading towards my legs.
The knife started just above my left knee. It dove deep into my skin and touched the bone. Tears flooded down my face, giving the blood under my head a lighter shade. It slowly traveled down, blood begining to rise. It stopped a few inches away from my hoof. He then started twisting it in circles, drilling it into my bone.
The whole time I screamed in pain and I flailed about, making the knife sway inside my leg. All of the sudden, the knife stopped. The stallion grabbed a different knife and aimed it at the center of my left hoof. I braced myself for the impact, except, I wasn't very good at it.
The knife was stabbed into my hoof, cracking the bone it half. Blood sprayed out like a fountain. Painting the floor and the stallion's fur. Clash ran over and handed his father a pair of pliers. It clamped firmly on one half of my hoof and began tugging on it. A small bone was still attached to my leg, the stallion got frustrated and just ripped it off. It made a disturbing noise and blood gushed out my leg, which was open like a bowl. He repeated the same tactic for the half. This time, a big chunk of skin was stuck on. Clash stripped the skin until it stopped, which was around my hip. I looked over, tears pouring at the my skinless leg. I gagged and almost hurled at the mere sight of it.
A big bone who was my hip, was sticking out. Blood engulfed to entire thing, it hung out my side, almost falling completely out my body. I had my eyes firmly shut and my breath became more heavy. My teeth were red from the blood I swallowed, as well as my tongue.
"No, this is going to fast!" The stallion cried out. Clash ran over and pushed my hip bone back in. I felt it go too far and my other leg was almost out of its socket.
The stallion yanked the knife out my leg, blood squirted up and Clash laughed like a filly at a water park. My leg started to fall off the table. The stallion frowned and used magic to heal it.
My hoof was back and my leg was in place. But the long cut down my leg was still there, as well as the searing pain. He then started flailing the knife around, making small cuts in my right leg. Only two were deep enough to make a scar.
He excitedly picked up a giant pair of scissor like tool. He ran over to my right ear, opening it and placing it perfectly at the three quarter mark of my ear. He slowly started to close it, the first bone snapped like a twig. The second was stuck and still hanging desperately on, like me. I started to shiver and tears flooded, I scream on the top of my lungs because of the burning pain of the open cuts on my leg.
Clash trotted over merrily and punched my face with his hoof. I whimpered then stopped shivering. I closed my eyes, my head spun in circles and I felt like vomiting out the blood I swallowed. I heard a very loud snap and a splash. The stallion cackled as he showed me my ear that was cut off, blood dripped down onto my stomach, I tried my best to stay strong through the whole thing.
"Alright, get the eye gouger ready, Clash!" The stallion pointed a hoof to a sharp needle like device that was at eye level.
I was picked up by the stallion's magic, making a blood trail as he placed me in front of the eye gouger. I shut my eyes as an attempt to protest against this. Clash forced my left eye open and held it open using his magic. My right eye was firmly closed, I was kicking and flailing about, every kick burning like my legs were on fire.
The needle was forced forward, stabbing my eye. All vision went black as I opened my other eye. I could only see partially now and everything was even darker. The needle pulled back. But, instead of it just popping out of my eye, it pulled my eye right out of the socket. I screamed so loud and Clash got frustrated and he created a zipper on my mouth.
"That wasn't supposed to happen..." The stallion muttered, looking slightly unhappy. Clash just grabbed the pair of scissors from before and signaled to cut it off.
"I guess you won't need this anymore." The stallions laughed to himself and cut the veins. Blood poured out the open veins, splashing all over my body and hooves.
"Alright, time for the iron maiden." He said as he carried me to the coffin like object I spotted before. He threw me in there and straightened my body. Needles stared me down with a sharp, cold glare, or so it felt like.
"3..2..1!" Clash yelled as both of them slammed the "doors" of the iron maiden. The needles pierced several organs of my body: It skinned my skull, hit my small and large intestines and my stomach. I cried out in my head, tears flooding out my eyes like a waterfall. The doors opened, a small amount of light poured in. Clash was holding a big hacksaw with a big grin on his face. The stallion picked me up and brought me back to the table. I was ready to pass out from blood loss then die.
Clash placed the hacksaw to my right leg; where the leg meets the hip. He began sawing like there was no tomorrow. He stopped halfway, panting and sweating.
"My arm hurts.." He complained, the stallion huffed and lightly slapped him. Clash grunted and shook it off. He grabbed a knife and handed it to his father.
"This won't hurt a bit!" He smiled evilly, obviously lying and placed it at my chest. At his point, I was dying, I didn't care about the pain. The knife traced a line across my chest, the stallion handed the knife back to Clash then grabbed an axe. He slammed it down on my chest, breaking my rib cage, exposing my heart to danger.
"Perfect." His eyes glimmered with pride as he saw my beating red heart. He looked back and nodded to his son. Clash nodded as well and placed the knife at my neck. He stabbed it deep into the side of my neck, then slowly started to slit my throat. The process was very slow paced, to cause more pain and suffering before I die.
Blood started to flow out the sides, staining my already bloody hair. Everything was slowly fading to black, I could just barely see the stallion. I was still able to see him tear out my heart, holding it victoriously. I stopped breathing and the whole world went black, I was surely dead now.
I opened my eyes to see murky, dying trees. I blinked and looked around. The trees were all dead and eyes were staring me down. The pale moon was glowing above me. This was surely the Everfree Forest. I stood up, still processing what's going on. Wait! Aren't I supposed to be dead!? Clash and his father killed me!. I looked at my body: a long cut was on my left leg, two small ones on my right, two scars down my eye and my a big wound where my throat was slit and my right ear was missing. But other than that, everything was normal. I looked at myself again, I-I was a mare! I was "sleeping" for that long!?
My vision was perfect, same with my hearing. Except, whenever I blinked, only one eye would close. I teleported myself to Ponyville. All lights were off and everyone was asleep. I looked at my reflection in a pane of glass. My other eye was black, except for a glowing red center. If I looked to one direction, then the red center would move too. Was this my new eye?
My cutie mark! I thought as I checked my flank. A skull that was all bloody was on my flank, blood was dripping off the skull.
"I was meant to die? How am I alive?" I questioned myself. Memories of the torturing flooded back, then memories of my mother came.
"Mother.. I need to see her.." In the back of my head I thought that I had to kill her, I know she would rather see my father then live in this world. I teleported myself to my house. I opened the door silently and carefully crept up the stairs. All the lights in the house were on, my mother's bedroom door was open a crack. I looked in, trying to peek if she was in there. I was a bit of red, confused, I opened to door. My mother was on the bed, eyes wide open, not breathing and a knife in her chest.
My eyes widened and I backed out of the room. I shook my head, still backing up. I forgot about the staircase and fell down it. I hit one step then skipped 4 others, then hit another one. I landed on the floor with a loud bang, landing on my back. I stood up, the pain faded away quickly. My body shifted and I sprinted out the door. I needed revenge, on both of them.
I ran around Ponyville aimlessly, until I saw a house that was off the beaten path. I dashed over to the house. The entire house was wooden, a lot of pieces were broken or cracked. I walked up onto the porch, each step making a loud creak. I tried for the door, thinking it was unlocked. Sure enough, it was, the door opened slowly with the loudest creak.
Clash's father was sleeping in a rocking chair. I walked over, a knife in my mouth. I punched him and threw his rocking chair across the room. The chair broke into tiny wooden pieces and the stallion fell onto the floor. He woke up instantly, looking up at my face. "S-Star.. No!" He backed up into the wall as I crept slowly to him. I lifted the knife using my horn's Dark magic and raised it above his head. "Stop, don't you have a heart!?" He pleaded, I laughed a bit and grinned. "No, you took it, remember?" I lowered the knife with amazing speed, right into his skull.
"Now, where's Clash..?" I said to myself. The door opened wide and a unicorn was standing in the doorway. "Hey dad, I'm home!" He called for his father, unable to see me.
"Hello, Clash. Remember me?" I asked, stepping out of the shadows.
He remained silent for a few seconds, processing what happened. "Oh no!" He gasped and sprinted out the door. I laughed to myself and chased him. My speed was a lot faster than his and I caught up to him quickly. I pounced on him, clinging on to him as he tumbled down. I was on top of him, pinning him to the ground. His face was flustered as his eyes darted around. His cheeks were red and he looked into my eyes. I glared at him, blood dripped off the knife I had.
"Um, StarDash.. You know, I didn't mean to kill you.. I was young and stupid." He stuttered on every word, sweat dripped down his face.
"You were always stupid, colt or stallion." I said, placing the knife to his neck just like he did to me.
"Please. STARDASH!!!" He yelled as I slit his throat slowly, I finished my stabbing it in his eye and standing back up.
"It's BloodDash."
