Innoruuk, the Prince of Hatred, God of the plane of Hate, is struck down. But what mere mortal can kill a god? A spire of hatred calls him to another world.

Luna, enraged by her subjects apparent distaste in the Night, is overcome with hatred and jealousy.

In his last moments, Innoruuk casts a spell, sending him to another plane before the final blow is applied…but what he doesn't know, is that he mistaken the radius of the portal and taken a passenger…

Luna has been corrupted by the prince of hate, and has been sealed away on the moon along with him…
And the passenger? Turned to stone before a word was out of his lips.

It's been one thousand years…and I am so fucking bored.

A crossover between Everquest: Champions of Norrath and MLP. CoN and Everquest belongs to Sony Online Entertainment. MLP belongs to Hasbro.

Flashback sequence

"So, you're telling me that in order to take down this guy, we need to cleanse our hate?"

"That is correct dark elf."

"...You know that guy created my race..right?" I questioned.

"Yes, I am well aware of your 'father' " Firiona Vie stated, "And you must stop him."

"...Well shit."

Present time

"WHERE ARE YOU, WHELP? DO NOT THINK BECAUSE YOU CLEANSED YOUR HATE YOU CAN DEFEAT ME."

I sat behind a stone pillar, breathing heavily. My grip on my sword tightened. My mind was a blur.

'This is it. You're fighting your own god that you had to worship since age five. The God that created you. That gives you your powers. Why me? Is it because of that Froglok I threatened to eat?' I took a deep breath and tried to calm down. 'Okay, it's okay. You're a shadow knight. Knight of Death, Hate, and all around badassery. Why are you scared? You live for the dead!' I look around the pillar, 'And yet, God killing was never in my job description. I wanted to be a chef. But noooooo, Father wouldn't allow his firstborn to be anything but a great Shadowknight like his father, and his father before him. Serving Innoruuk. And here I am, having to kill the bastard.'

"I CAN SENSE YOU, MORTAL. YOU CARRY MY MARK." Innoruuk smiled, "TELL ME, LITTLE SHADOWKNIGHT, WHY DO YOU FIGHT YOUR FATHER?"

I shudder. I grip my sword with both hands, and stands up, back towards the pillar. I take a deep breathe and come out in a battle stance.

"Why do I fight?" I called, "Because I wanted to cook. I never learned how because I was thrust into your temple and forced into this role"

Innoruuk laughed. "SO IT IS REVENGE THEN? TELL ME MORTAL. WHAT IS THE BASIS OF REVENGE?" He grinned evilly, and raised his dark blade."IT IS HATRED THAT CAUSES IT!"

And that's when he struck. Metal clanged against metal as I try to block his ongoing attacks. His eyes glow red, and he jumps back and summons a swarm of Skeletons. I grip my sword, and become a whirlwind of steel as I cut through the legion of the dead. Innoruuk opens the floor and increases his army, skeletons marching in beaten armor towards me. I use my own power to turn them against each other, and the army begins to fight itself. I then summon a cloud of darkness to cover the battlefield.

"IS THAT THE BEST YOU HAVE, MORTAL? CHEAP PARLOR TRICKS? I. AM. THE. PRINCE. OF. HATE. NONE CAN STAND BEFORE-" Innoruuk chokes. A sword has pierced his chest from behind.

"Now, I'm not a rogue," I said, smirking, "But I think backstabs are pretty fucking deadly."

"YOU CANNOT defeat a god, mortal...for there is still hate, and I will come back. Norrath with be mine." Innoruuk coughs and his eyes glow red. "And now, another vessel for my spirit awakens. And i will take their world, and then this one"

A red mist begins to form over his body, and a bright light is beginning to come from his stab wound. I rush the fallen god, in an attempt to stop his escape, but my world goes white, and then dark as his evil laughter rings in my ears.

"SISTER, WE WILL STAND IT NO LONGER. OUR NIGHTS ARE PERFECT, AND YET NONE PAY ATTENTION."

Luna roared as hate for Equestria increased, and her eyes turned red.

"WE WILL TURN THIS LAND INTO ONE WITH ETERNAL NIGHT"

For anyone who wasn't a god or at least a demi god, they wouldn't have noticed the quick change in character. For a split second, Luna's eye were filled with fear and longing for help. But just as soon as they changed, they went back to red.

"LUNA, PLEASE DON'T DO THIS. THE PONIES LOVE YOU, I LOVE YOU" Celestia cried.

"LUNA IS NO LONGER WHELP. I AM NIGHTMARE MOON. AND THE NIGHT WILL LAST, FOREVER." Luna/Nightmare moon roared as she charged Celestia.

Given no other choice, Celestia summoned the fabled elements of harmony, and with tears in her eyes, sealed the dreaded nightmare into the moon for a thousand years...and as the smoke cleared, a lone figure stood up. For fear that it had not worked, Celestia blasted the figure, and turned it to stone. When the dust cleared, a dark elf, with a single sword in hand, stood motionless, encased in magical stone. Celestia, unknowing of the nature of the creature, felt a disturbance. The elements faded, and dropped into stone orbs. She had unknowingly blasted a good natured innocent.

She can only hope that when he comes out of the stone, he isn't too angry.

A purple pony finished reading the story out loud, not realizing someone was listening.

'The more I hear this story, the more I realize it probably wasn't her fault...but I'm still gonna smack her once.' I thought.

“Nightmare moon? I wonder if it’s real. I mean, it’d explain this statue. But he can’t still be alive. And no pony knows his name anyways.” Twilight said, looking at the statue she was sitting beside. “I’m going to go do research on it!” She squeed in excitement, thinking about what she could learn.

'I am alive, you stupid pony thing. My name is Omen. I am a Dark Elf shadow-knight, God-fighter, and currently, pigeon bait. It has been 999 years, three hundred and sixty three days, and two minutes. And I am really, really, bored."

On the moon, a dark force is rallying. A thousand years to brew her hatred, and a more sinister mind driving her...Nightmare Moon is readying herself. Innoruuk is gathering strength inside this new vessel.

This Summer Sun celebration will be one that nobody will ever forget.
