As Vincent lay asleep in his bed, there were other, shall we say, forces awake. He didn't know it yet, but his life had made a turn that he will soon find out there is no way back from. As he began to wake up, he started his morning routine. Take a leak, wash his hands, brush his teeth, and get dressed. Vincent was finally ready to take on the day ahead, or so he thought. He walked out of his apartment, and headed for the store. He wasn't paying attention, so on his way there, he made a wrong turn. He walked down the alleyway, but finally payed attention when he realized that he went the wrong way. He turned around, but someone was blocking the exit. He walked the other way, but the same thing happened.
"Going somewhere?" Said one of the people at the end. They kept walking towards him, and the closer they got, the more nervous Vincent became.
"Please, let me go!" Said Vincent. The people looked at each other, and then they began laughing. Vincent was still nervous, and their laughing didn't help. "Leave me alone!" Yelled Vincent, in hopes of getting someone's attention for help, but to no avail.
The muggers kept laughing. One looked right at Vincent and stopped laughing. "Or what, you'll hurt us?" Said the mugger. Then he started laughing again. After what seemed like forever, one of the assailants pulled out a gun. "Give us all your money." He said.
Vincent pulled out his wallet and threw it to them. "Now let me go." Said Vincent. The assailants just laughed again. Vincent became more and more confused.
"You ain't going nowhere." Said one of the assailants. He pulled his gun back out and pointed it right at Vincent's face. Before Vincent could even react, the mugger pulled the trigger. Vincent was bleeding, and nobody came to help him.
Vincent Summer died on June 28, 2015 at 7:59 A.M. The funeral was held the following week. During the funeral something that can only be classified as supernatural happened. Moments before the casket was lowered...
Cries could be heard, from both friends and family. Some were in denial that Vincent was dead. Others were too sad to even form full sentences. As the casket was being lowered into the ground, a buzzing noise could be heard. The noise continuously got louder and louder. Eventually it was impossible to ignore. The casket was finally in the ground, but before they could fill the grave, something incredible happened. The ground shook, the sky turned blood red, and the casket slowly rose out of the ground. As it rose, a bright light appeared above it. Before the casket could reach it, it opened, and Vincent's body rose out of it and into the light. After he was fully through it, the light disappeared and Vincent was gone.
Location: Canterlot, Equestria.
"Your Highness, something is not right in the world. I believe something will change soon, and most likely, not for the better." Said one of Celestia's mages.
"What is it that you see, mage?" Said Princess Celestia. She was curious as to what was wrong, seeing as the mages only inform her when there is something wrong with the universe. This worried her.
"We are unable to figure that out, only that it will happen at some point today, and somewhere in Canterlot." Said the mage.
"Thank you, you are dismissed." Said Celestia. And with that, the mage left. Celestia got up from her throne and paced around. She then left to her study and got a piece of parchment and an inkwell.
Ponyville, Equestria.
"Twilight, I don't understand why you need a chunk of citrine." Said Spike, Twilight Sparkle's dragon assistant.
"For studying, Spike. I am going to study how it reacts to different kinds of magic." Said Twilight Sparkle, personal student of Princess Celestia, ruler of Equestria.
Just then, Spike belched. Out of the smoke was a piece of parchment. Twilight grabbed it with her magic, and opened it. She then read it aloud. "Dear Twilight Sparkle, I require you and your friends in Canterlot immediately. Please bring the Elements of Harmony. A chariot is on its way to pick everypony up. ~Signed, Princess Celestia." Twilight finished reading and looked at Spike. "I'll go get everypony, you stay here and watch for the chariot." Said Twilight. Spike nodded, and Twilight ran to get her friends.
One hour later. Throne room, Canterlot.
Twilight and her friends just walked into the throne room. "I can see you are all wondering why I have called you here." Said Princess Celestia. They all nodded in confirmation. "One of my mages has told me something, most likely bad, will happen at some point today, somewhere in Canterlot."Said Celestia.
"What are we dealing with, Princess?" Said Twilight.
"I'm afraid that I do not know, Twilight." Said Celestia.
Twilight was about to say something else when something crashed through a stained window. Everypony looked but couldn't see because there was too much dust. When the dust cleared, they saw a body. It wasn't a pony, but something that was completely unknown to them. Twilight walked up to it, and checked its pulse. Nothing. "It isn't breathing, I think it might be dead." Said Twilight. All of the sudden, the Elements of Harmony started to glow. Soon Twilight and her friends were floating and glowing. They shot a beam of rainbow light at the thing, and when it impacted, there was a blinding light, so bright even Celestia looked away. When the light went away, Twilight walked up to the thing, and checked its pulse again. There was a faint heartbeat, but it was going out slowly. "Get it to a hospital, there is a heartbeat." Said Twilight.
