I didn’t know what to think. I had watched the same horrific scene as every pony else and I was in shock. I stood slack jawed and stunned as the screams finally ceased. I was relieved when she stopped screaming. I was relieved it was not me that had been put through that torture. She had had her legs, wings and arms broken. There was blood everywhere. I could scarcely keep my eyes open. Her coat was of a green tint with a yellow mane and tail, but now, she was gone. Ground up to be made into spectra for rainbows.

That was all we were good for anymore. That was what Rainbow Dash told us. We were worthless as flyers and only good for harvesting spectra. Some of us would be made into that liquid and hauled off into the factory and some of us would be workers in the factory itself. I chose not to go out so easy. I wanted to live. I may have failed the flying test, only due to a sprain when I reopened my wings on the fall, but I did not want to die. Not like this. Not here. Not in the Rainbow Factory…
