Celestia And Luna's Childhood Nanny

The Royal Palace. Home to the royal family Queen Faust, King Tenebris, Princess Celestia, and Princess Luna.

Celestia glumly had her forehooves around her, "But mom I don't need a nanny." The king and queen were going on a diplomatic mission to Zeberia the land of zebra, and realized after that that they needed to hire a nanny for their fillies and both princesses did not like it one bit.

"Now now girls, your father and I have done well to be with you for this long but now we have to go on diplomatic missions, and those take months." Queen Faust said to her two daughters Celestia and Luna.

"But moooooom!" Whined Celestia, "I can stay home by myself. I can take care of Luna and surely the servants are here if I..."

"No Celestia, you need a nanny and that's final." Argued Faust.

*Ding Dong*

"Oh good, she's here." Announced Faust as she went to answer the door. Celestia grumbled then followed alongside her little sister.

At the door was a light blue pegasus mare with a pink mane and a pink heart with a smiley face for a cutie mark.

"Hey there Miss. Lovable." Said Faust, "My husband and I are gonna be gone for a month so I hope you'll take good care of my darling fillies."

Lovable looked at Celestia, "Aren't you the cutest little thing." Celestia snorted at her and Luna stuck her tongue out.

"Be nice, or no dessert for a week you two." Scolded Faust.

"Yes mom."

Faust turned to Miss. Lovable, "I'm sorry to leave so soon but I gotta go, bye."

"Bye." Said both Celestia and Lovable.

"Bye." Said Luna.

"So," Miss. Lovable turned to her charge, "What do you wanna do kiddos?"

Celestia harumphed then quietly trotted to her room, Miss. Lovable and Luna following her.

Celestia entered her room where there was a window, a bed, a cabinet, a closet door and a few toys laying around. The two sisters began to play with some toys. Miss Lovable decided to watch her charges play.

In the royal dining room Luna sat in her hook on high chair while Celestia sat next to Miss Lovable, while Miss Lovable sat between both princesses.

Celestia made a sad sigh then spoke, "I'm sorry I was so rude Miss Lovable, I just don't want a nanny."

"It's okay deary, and I'm sorry you feel that way but you're still a little filly who needs someone to look after you." Said Miss Lovable.

"I'm hungwy." Complained Luna.

"Patience deary." Said Miss Lovable. Just then the chef came in with their food, "See? Here's your food now."

Celestia had an omelet with a cheese and lettuce sandwich and a glass of grape juice while Luna had some mashed carrots and a sippy cup of grape juice, and Miss Lovable had a bowl of milo soup and also a glass of grape juice.

As they ate, Miss Lovable saw that Celestia was still looking a little glum, "Are you really upset about having a nanny? Because my last charge had me as his nanny all the way until he was 18. It's nothing to be ashamed about."

"But we never needed one before." Argued Celestia.

"That was because your parents didn't need one until now. In fact it's amazing they managed to wait this long before hiring one. Being so busy and all."

Celestia placed her hoof on her chin, "Well, once when I was six I had a babysitter...but she was really mean. She wouldn't read me in bed or give me dessert or nothing; she even called me a dweeb all the time." That insult made Miss Lovable cringe. What kind of babysitter called their charges names?

"Are you afraid I might be mean to you too?" Miss Lovable asked. Celestia nodded.

Miss Lovable wrapped a foreleg around Celestia, "It's okay Celestia. I promise I won't be mean to you."

It was 9:00 pm and thus bedtime for the princesses. Miss Lovable tucked her two charges into bed. She kissed Luna goodnight and offered it to Celestia but she refused saying she was too big for goodnight kisses, but Miss Lovable gave one to her when she fell asleep anyway.

Miss Lovable went to her quarters and pulled out a book, she was worried that her new charges would be a problem but luckily she was wrong. She was going to enjoy having these princesses as her charges.
