//-------------------------------------------------------// Sun Rising At Spring -by Equestria- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Sunshine Makes Me Happy //-------------------------------------------------------// Sunshine Makes Me Happy Equestria rested through out her sister's peaceful night. But now it was time for the elder sister to get things ready for today was no ordinary day for her kingdom. This day, is the day for the first spring sun rise. The elder white alicorn, woke up bright and early as always. She knew that this will be the most wonderful spring day after the ponies helped out with Winter Wrap Up. Celestia walked out of her royal bed chamber, and slowly made her way to the balcony. "I hope spring will help bring wonderful hope and light to all the land as it always had before." Celestia, came to the balcony, glowed her horn, opened her wings, and flew to raise the sun. "This will be the most wonderful spring for all of my loyal subjects." As Celestia flew higher and higher, a thought came to her mind. It was a very peaceful thought even for herself to admit. Soon, all of her subjects will awake to see many good things that the sun will provide from above. The flowers will bloom under the sun's warm and powerful rays. The birds will sing for the very first day of spring to finally arrive. Butterfiles will dance among the flowers like the Pegasi dance among the clouds. Ponies will play, tend to their gardens, clean their homes, and even roll around the fresh morning grass. The sun went higher and higher under the magic of the princess. "Perhaps I shall take some time to appreaciate some of the most wonderful things that the ponies will do and try to help them as much as I can. Soon all of my subjects will come to see the sun peaking over the hill." As Celestia flew the sun to the perfect position for all the ponies to see, another peaceful thought came to her mind. This one was about her most faithful student Twilight Sparkle and her friends and all the times they helped her save her kingdom from certain danger. She knew that Twilight and her friends had the courage and the determanation to bring the peace to Equestria along with the princess's good grace and the Elements of Harmony. The sun was in the perfect spot for all of Equestria to see now. Slowly, one by one, piece by piece, ponies awoke to the first rays of the sun. The flowers began to bloom. The birds started to sing of the good fortune the sun had brought forth. The butterfiles started to dance among the flowers in a graceful movement that will even make Futtershy smile. "I hope this will be like all the spring sun rises I have been bringing forth for a thousand years." Celestia gracefully lowered herself until she was back on the gorund of her balcanoy. Now it was time for her to help with many things in Equestria's first day of spring. Celestia came to the throne room, where her important papers were surely waiting for her to be written and taken to help all of her beloved kingdom to help it become more peaceful. The papers were written one by one used by the princess's magic. After they were all written and giving to her most trusted advisor, Celestia looked at her kingdom through the magic mirror in the east tower. Things looked so happy and peaceful on this first day of spring just as Celestia had hoped for her kingdom. The spring sun rise brought peace to Equestria once again. Time passed as best it could. Celestia helped all of her loyal subjects with many of the good things that spring provided for all of the land. The day slowly came to an end. Celestia lowered the sun to make way for her sister's moon. As the moon began to rise, Celestia had returned to her bed chamber and pulled herself into the covers and drifted off to sleep. Hoping the next sun rise of spring will bring more good things tomorrow. The next hour before dawn, Princess Celestia woke up early, and made her way to the balcony. When she arrived, she noticed something on one of the railings of the balcony. It was a little piece of paper with the words, "To the Sun Princess" on its side. Celestia, levitated the note with her magic and at the same time opened it. Celestia leaned in to read it. Her eyes lit up and a smile appeared on her face as she read the note's message. Dear Sun Princess, thank you ever so much for giving me another beautiful sunny day on the first day of spring. I had spend most of my time playing out in the fields and daydreaming. You have givien me so much joy yesterday that I hope that today will be just like the most wonderful day I had before. Love Sunshine. By the time she was finished, Celestia used a small tissue to wipe the tears of joy from her eyes. She glowed her horn, opened her wings, and flew up to the sky to bring her kingdom a another beautiful spring day once more. "My loyal subjects, enjoy this wonderful morning." The whole land of Equestria was full of the magic of spring. Even the small towns were full of flowers and the good light that the sun brought forth. She felt a good leap of joy in her heart as the ponies began to awaken from their slumbers and enjoy the most beautiful day of spring under the rule of the Sun Princess. Celestia had for a thousand years, even after Luna's banishment, brought light and peace through out all of her beloved kingdom. She had been the ruler of Equestria, for as long as she can remember. Celestia's warm smile had been growing into a deep thought of saddness however. She had remembered all of the painful choices and consequences that all had happened in her past. From Discord's unruly rage of choas to the day she lost Star Swirl the Bearded in a terrible griffin accident. Tears weld up in her eyes, as she began to cry softly and didn't stop. However, Celestia, started to remember what her dearest friend Star Swirl told her that would help her in her most darkest of times. "Be the good ruler you always have to be. Learn from your mistakes and trot with pride." Celestia went the throne room where her loyal guards were waiting for her, ready for her orders.
