Siren's prose?

Banishment...And what is left...

We held the world in our grasp.

Everything was ours to remake as we saw fit.

Our words brought meaning to those who were meaningless.

Our songs breathed life into those who didn’t deserve it.

The world was ours.

Then we were cast away.

Banished from the world we knew,

The land from which we were born,

And exiled beyond the home from where we were safe…

We awoke to a strange new world.

We awoke feeling weak.

We awoke feeling vulnerable.

It wasn’t long before we realized what we had become.

The beauty of what we were... gone.

The majesty of our visage, stolen.

...OUR POWER TAKEN…

And with that understanding we knew,

our home was locked away beyond our reach.

There was a moment where we almost lost our minds in fear,

Surrendered to despair,

And broke, wanting nothing more than the end of our lives.

No.

We were stronger than that.

We were birthed by powers beyond any reckoning.

Nothing can break us.

Even when...

All that remained was our birthright,

All that was left, was a memory,

All that drove us...

…was the knowledge of who we were.

…who we still are.

We are Sirens…

We are beyond this realm.

Nothing can stop us.

No force can contain us.

THERE IS ALWAYS A WAY.

AND WE will have satisfaction.

We will regain what was lost.

We will be worshipped!

We will be bowed to!

We will want for Nothing!

We will Take EVERYTHING!

WE. WILL. BE. ADORED.
