She had poured the contents out of the cuborads, and into a bowl, where she mixed the ingredinets softly, and put the finished mix into the oven. She had set the timer to the correct time, and went to the fridge to get some orange juice. She noticed an envolope on the fridge door when she closed it to get the juice. She open the enelope, and pull the contents out. The letter was written in a very unique way of cursive; a way that only a princess would write. Fluttershy, read the message softly. Dear Fluttershy: It's been awhile since the last time we met. Things have been busy at the castle lately; I thought we might have some tea and catch up. Meet me at the castle this afternoon; we need to have a personal talk, alone. Love, Princess Celestia. By the time she was finished, Fluttershy, had a smile streamed across her face. But at the same time, she wondered why would the princess want to see her speceficly; it was so strange, and yet, so wonderful at the same time. "I'll get ready as soon as I finished my chores", Fluttershy spoke softly, with a hint a comfort in her voice. Fluttershy, hummed a little tune as she swept her house. She was just about ready for Celestia's private tea party; she closed the door behind her as she made her way outside of her cottage. She flew with excitement- and at the same time- a sense of nervousness. She flew passed town square of Ponyville; she saw many wonderful sights along her way to Canterlot. Such as her Butterfly Grove, swans at Ponyville Park, and birds at the Everfree Forest. At last, she arrived in Canterlot; the castle stood tall and proud as the princess who called it her home. Fluttershy made her way inside the castle. The castle was full of wonderful things; even the window of Twilight's corranation. The yellow Pegasus made her way upstairs; slowly admiring the most beautiful paintings that were on the place walls. When she had finally reached the top, Fluttershy gently knocked on the door. "Come in", said a gentle voice from inside; that had expected a very special visitor today. Fluttershy opened the door very softly; to find a white alicorn, with a pink tea set with butterfiles along the edges, on a small table in front of her. "Thanks for inviting me Your Highness." Fluttershy slowly colsed the door behind her. She made her way over; sat on a pillow across from the princess when she arrived at her destantion. Celestia, gave Fluttershy a warm smile; who gave her a warm smile right back. "So tell me Fluttershy; how have you and your friends been doing?" Celestia asked, after she sipped her cup of tea. Fluttershy sallowed a small lump in her throat as she said, "We have been doing just fine Your Highness; but we've been kind of been getting some things under our coats lately." "Tell me, what has been troubling you my dear?" "Well you see Princess, when we tried to help ponies under Starlight's control of being without their own unique cutie marks, I was the only one who thought that the whole town and its ponies were nice. And with Pinkie Pie who found out that Shining Armour and Princess Cadance were having a baby, I was afraid she would explode from keeping it a surprise from us." When she had finished her list, Fluttershy sighed; while Celestia gave her a small chuckle. Fluttershy sipped her cup; as Princess Celestia lowered her head- giving her faithful subject a warm smile. "It seems that you had stuck true to your nature that I'm the most proud of." "What do you mean Your Majesty?" Fluttershy asked; with confusion showing on her face. "You see Fluttershy; you are innocent as a butterfly, but also strong and protective as a swan." Fluttershy was silent; waiting for the princess to continue. "You are the kind of pony who always tries to stand up for what you believe in; but at the same time, you drive yourself to be kind and thoughtful." Fluttershy smiled warmly; with a single tear of happiness rolled down her cheek. "You always see the goodness in me Your Highness", Fluttershy mumbled; but the princess heard her loud and clear. "As you do in everypony Fluttershy; even when somepony tells you otherwise." Fluttershy and the princess stared in silence for a long time; Fluttershy finally spoke. "I hope that everypony will see that there's more to me then just a shy pony Princess." "Someday, there will come a time when all of Equestria will be putting down on you; but never forget a butterfly and a swan must always learn to fly free and wild." Fluttershy had pondered on what she had just been said; finally after she had finished her tea, she made her way out the door; as she said, "Thank you again for inviting me Princess; I will be strong like a swan, and gentle as a butterfly." Sortly after returning from the castle, Fluttershy, pondered what it was that the princess ment when she said about her being innocent like a butterfly and strong like a sawn. The thoughts continued to fill Fluttershy's mind with questions about herself and the way she is with everypony around her. "Maybe she was just being polite. Maybe she was just trying to make me feel better about myself." As she walked around her Butterfly Grove, Fluttershy noticed up ahead in the sky, there were a flock of majestic white swans. They beat their strong wings; flying towards the pond outside of Ponyville. Fluttershy, curious about the swans, followed behind them. The swans with their grace (and beautiful nimble legs) landed safely in the water. Fluttershy watched them from a small bush; trying not to frighten the swans. "They sure are beautiful aren't they my dear?" said a voice from behind her. Fluttershy, was startled, and turned to the source of the voice. Fluttershy gave a small sigh of relief when she realized it was Princess Celestia who adressed her. "They sure are beautiful Princess", Fluttershy said softly; trying not to scare the swans. "Yes they are very gracious, beautiful, strong, and very protective of their friends." Fluttershy and Princess Celestia, watched a dog coming up to the pond; trying to attack the swans. A swan hissed and ran after the dog. The dog winned as he ran as fast as he could. "The butterflies may be gentle, but they are also strong in their own unique way." "They are Your Majesty?" "Yes. They do many wonderful things if they know they can." Fluttershy, had remembered what she had done when it seemed to her that she thought she didn't have the courage to even try. She helped Rainbow Dash and the other Pegasi, bring the rain water to Cloudsdale; even though at first she was scared, she kept going and going, until the water was just at the exact spot to bring rain for all of Equestria to enjoy. "So I'm gentle like a butterfly; and strong like a butterfly and a swan." "That's right Fluttershy, never forget to be the kind pony you are and still be strong for those you love." Fluttershy noticed that it was time for her to go home and help her animal friends with their homes around hers. She said as she saw the princess fly, "I'll never forget this day Princess. And to be strong like a butterfly and a swan."
