Ponymon: Equus at War

Prologue

A long time ago in the Equuleus constellation, orbiting the star Alpha Equulei, is the planet Equus. Home to a variety species of being, including four races of ponies. It has been peaceful except when there are times of great disaster. Such as times when Nightmare Moon, Discord, Changelings, King Sombra, Tirek and even Starlight Glimmer. These foes were all vanquished by Twilight Sparkle and her five friends.

But there have been some new arrivals. Namely these creatures calling themselves Digimon. Their realm called the Digital World was taken over by a powerful Digimon named Diaboromon. Who wrecked havoc and forced the Digimon to up and leave in fear. Landing in Equestria, the Digimon sought help from the ponies. A group of ponies went into the Digital World to aid the Digimon, they fought and defeated Diaboromon. However, his defeat triggered a “kill switch”. Which began to delete the Digital World. Their only hope for survival was to move as much as they could to Equus. They succeeded…

Princess Celestia offered two old and abandoned kingdoms to the Digimon, named Tidas and Aurora, where they moved their god Yggdrasil. Without Yggdrasil, any Digimon who’d die could never return to a digi-egg and start life anew. Being ruled and protected by the Royal Knights, Who guard Yggdrasil. The Tidas Kingdom of beast Digimon joined forces with the Aurora Kingdom of humanoid Digimon. Together they formed the Kingdom of Tidas Aurora. A very advanced kingdom of technology and science. They did come from a world within computers, you know.

Things weren’t so peaceful though. As the nation of the anthro creatures, the Vulcan Sol Empire, wanted the entire planet under their banner. Thus they started the Great War, as nation after nation began to build their fighting force to stop Vulcan Sol from taking them over. However, the Kingdom of Arcadia, a xenophobic unicorn dominated nation, formed a barrier around their nation. Blocking off their kingdom from the rest of the world. The king’s son, Prince Magnus Mage, left during this time to seek help from Equestria. As Arcadia is located south of Equestria. He is told only he can re-enter the kingdom with the magic spell he was taught as a colt.

Thus this story begins… With Equus at war...
