“Rise and shine, Mr Ryan…” Muttered a familiar voice…

“Fuck off, you got me, I get it…” I replied.

“What?”

“Listen, if you don-” That’s when I realized it was Cinthya. “Oh, I thought it’s that fucker…” I replied.

“Which one?” She wondered, soon after said mare walked up to us.

“This one…” I muttered, staring deep into the mare’s eyes.

“So, we meet in person at last…” She exclaimed.

“Not the way I imagined, but yes…” I replied, trying to be polite.

“You two know each other?” Cinthya wondered.

“Would you give us some privacy? Please?” I asked, she nodded with a grin. “Be out with it, why are you here?”

“I would love to taunt you as of now, but all I can do is inform you…”

“Of what?” I inquired.

“The victim of your stabbing…”

“You mean who I DIDN’T stab…”

“Prince Captain Shining Armor is alive and recovering in hospital… Once we can retrieve his telling of what happened, your trial will begin…”

“Huh, what about the Saddle Arabian Prince?”

“We met him, and if he wouldn’t have requested you to be given amnesty, you would be long gone…”

“How charming… I’m glad he’s okay tho.” I replied.

“Should your behavior be inappropriate while in custody, your friend and you will regret it…”

I went loose, and bent the bars of my cell, and stepped outside. She took a few steps against the wall. “Lay even a feather or hoof on her, and your whole damn nation will regret it…” I told her, then stepped back into the cell and fixed the bars… The look on her face was both surprised and threatened…

“If you can prove to be as useful as tough, I’m looking forward to employ you as well…” She replied.

“Pff, too bad I’ll be decapitated even if I’ll turn out to be innocent…” I threw back.

“We both know how much we can’t stand each other, do we not?” I nodded in response. “Be honest, was it you?”

“No, it was fucking not…”

“I’ll see what will unfold…” She turned to leave, but I caught her with a question.

“Hey.”

“Yes?”

“Now you be honest…” She raised an eyebrow, seemingly willing to answer. “You know you’re the one who started our little friendship, right?” She nodded. “Why did you do it?”

At first she didn’t want to reply, but sooner later sighed and spoke up. “Because… I was afraid what your presence may bring…”

“Well, it didn’t work… I’m still here…” I replied with a grin.

“Perhaps it’s where you belong… Not the cell I mean.”

“Hmm?” I couldn’t believe what I heard.

“This means, that should your trial begin, our little rivalry will, by no means affect the judgement we bring…”

“Thanks, name’s Ryan…” I replied, extending a hand to shake, in means of peace.

“Well met, Ryan… I’m Luna…” She replied, extending a hoof. “Listen, I have to go do a few things, I’ll have Cinthya inform you on developments, or I’ll come tell you myself…”

“Sure, see you later.” I replied, and let her leave, with us finally being in good terms with each other… I collected the hay littered around my cell’s floor, and made a pillow out of it… What else could I do? Right?

Meanwhile…

After leaving Luna with Ryan, I went to take a look on the supposed victim… Once getting to the hospital, I went to the reception. “Hello ma’am, you must be the new royal bodyguard… How can I help?” Asked the clerk.

“Hello, yes… I’m looking for the latest stabbing victim…”

“Ah yes, Captain Shining Armor… Information on him is ordered to be classified, but you’re allowed I guess… He’s in room 194.”

“Thanks, bye.”

“Later ma’am…” She replied, and I was on my way to the elevator… On my way there I noticed a few of the patients, tho mostly foals… Stare at me in awe, looking at me like a monster, covering in fear.

Once I got there, I went to the 20th floor. When I was reaching for the button, I heard a mare yell. “Wait!” Galloping toward the elevator. I waited for her to get in, of course. “Thanks.”

“You’re welcome, which floor?”

“20th.” She replied. I pressed the button, and the doors slowly slid shut… “So, where will you get off?”

“20th.” I replied.

“Ah, visiting?”

“Yeah, I was sent to check on the Captain…” I replied, her face turned rather grim, suspicious perhaps.

“Okay…” She replied, and when the doors opened I took a few steps, then found myself on the floor on my back, her on top of me trying to kill me. “What do you want from my brother you freak?!” She yelled, when two of the guards in front of a room rushed over to us.

“Princess Twilight!” They yelled, attracting her attention… Which gave me a change to position my left foot against her chest, and throw her off into the elevator, just after she landed, the elevator was called, and the doors slid shut. “What was that about?” One of them wondered.

“I don’t know… The royal sisters sent me to check on the Captain, I told her the same, unaware of who she was, and you saw the rest…”

“We’ll see what we can do, you should hurry, we’ll hold her for a while should she get back…”

“Thanks guys.” I replied and walked in, seeing two nurses and a doctor, treating said Captain. “My bad, the sisters sent me to…”

“To check on me? How nice of them…” The Captain replied.

“Yes, what can I tell them?”

“He’s fine, the sisters healed him almost entirely on the way here… He should be fine from now…” The doctor replied. “In fact, he could leave right now.”

“Then I will…” He exclaimed, got out of his bed, and put his set of purple and gold armor back on. “Thanks for your help.” He said to the staff, and left the room. “Well, where now?” He wondered.

“I’m going back to the sisters.” I replied. “You?”

“I’ll go see Ryan…” He exclaimed.

“You know him?”

“Yeah, he came here with the Prince, then came with me to see the sisters back at the station…”

“What happened actually? With the stabbing deal I mean…”

“Oh, some mare stabbed me while I wasn’t looking, he took chase, then I blacked out on the ground.”

“Yeah uhm… You may need to know a few things…”

“Huh?”

“First, your sister, Princess Twilight... “

“What’s with her?” He wondered.

“When I told her why I’m here, she attacked me… I threw her back into the elevator in time to make her leave…”

“She did what? Are you serious?”

“Would I joke with things as serious?”

“I’ll talk to her about that, and accept my apologies for now…”

“No offense taken, also… Ryan is in custody, blamed with stabbing you.”

“Don’t tell me, Luna sent him there?”

“Yeah, she though he did it to you, and truth be told, I think they have a bone to pick with one another…”

“Since he’s sitting there innocent, upset with one who will decide his fate, he’s in a bad situation…” He replied.

“Huh, just wait until your sisters hears of what he’s suspected with…” He suddenly stopped walking, and with a panicked glance look at me.

“We have to hurry, I’ll tell the sisters about his innocence, you go try to hold my sis back from getting to him before I do…” He exclaimed.

“Yeah uhm, she may get hurt, but not killed…” I noted.

“As long at it doesn’t leave lasting or permanent damage, do what you need to.” He replied, and we took the now empty elevator down to ground level, and sprinting outside as best as we could… Of course, we went the same way until the throne room, where he entered and I went down to the cells, before Twilight could… But I was late, she was already trotting toward his cell, ever so slowly… I gestured my hand for the keymaster to stay quiet, while I sneaked up behind her.

“Mhmmm…” Said Umar from behind, before she could turn around I hid in the cell next to me tho.

“Ah, Prince Umar, is it?” She wondered.

“Yes, Princess Twilight… May I know what you intend to do with him?”

“What should I? He almost killed my brother!” She replied.

“No Twily, he didn’t…” Replied the Captain from behind Umar, accompanied by the sisters.

“What?”

“And the wound was in the middle of my chest… Don’t you think if he were to do it, he could’ve aimed for the heart, and from behind?”

We all pondered about it for a while, then agreed. “Then… Who was it?” She asked.

“We’ll find out soon, or not, I don’t care… The point is, that no innocent should suffer for another’s crime..” He exclaimed.

“Guard, let him out… He’s free…” Celestia spoke up, and the guard did so without a question.

“Indeed, and I intend to stay true to my word…” Luna added.

“Thanks, but I’d rather pass… Cinthya would be a better guard… I’m by no means a fighter anyway, well… If I must I’ll do it, but… I’m not allowed…” Ryan replied.

“Why aren’t you?” Twilight inquired.

“The Hipocrates Oath, the one every doctor has to put down in our world… Do no harm… Which means I can’t kill someone, while healing another… That would put me in a…” I walked over to him and he began to whisper. “Do you think they have gods?”

“How would I know, where’s your sword from anyway?”

“Would put you in a…?” Celestia wondered.

“In a God like position, since I would have the power to decide who lives and who doesn’t… However...” He replied

“Don’t tell me…” I muttered.

“I could begin inventing a few things, give you supply me with required materials…” The three of the royals, and Umar, give he was a foreign royalty, began to whisper for a while.

“Well, sadly we have no way of getting you back home… So… I assume Ryan would be of great help with his knowledge…” Celestia exclaimed.

“As for you Cinthya, would you take on the role of out personal guard then?” Luna continued.

“Glady.” We replied in unison.

“Great to hear, Ryan, you and Twilight will return to Ponyville… You will live and work in her castle with the Elements of Harmony…” Celestia replied. “Cinthya, you will stay here in Canterlot Castle with us, you will have your own private room next to ours... “

“Wait, you mean… We won’t be in the same place?” I wondered.

“Uhm, yeah… Actually, our phones work here… The signal’s fine, and since there’s no actual phone company, we won’t need to refill our phone credits…” Ryan noted.

“That’s better then… Right?”

“Of course it is, unlimited calls for free, like Skype or Viber…”

“Uhm…” Twilight sighed.

“Right, these gadgets allow us to communicate from far… Like telepathy, but with machines instead.” I replied, pulling out my phone showing it to them.

“Uhm, how?” One of them wondered.

“When you get to the station, give me a call…” I said to him, he nodded in return.

“Well then, I assume you’ve said your farewells… Ryan, Twilight, I hope you have nothing against each other anymore.” Celestia exclaimed, said individuals shook their heads.

“Good, when will you two go back?” Luna inquired.

“Whenever Twilight wants to.” Ryan replied.

“Well, that’s nice of you, but I leave it up to you.” Said Princess replied.

“Well, I may need a favor, actually…” Ryan muttered,

“What would that be?” The Captain wondered.

“Since you have magic, could you make a copy of Cinthya’s weapons for me?” He asked, and under the blink of an eye he had them all, the rifle, pistol, stick…

“The ranged weapons were given infinite ammo, for both of you.” Celestia exclaimed.

“Awesome, I’m ready to go then.” Ryan replied, and left with Twilight for the train station.

When we arrived to the station, I stopped to check for signal while Twilight got our tickets…

“Are you coming, Ryan?” She wondered.

“Yeah, sure… I was just checking for signal…” I replied.

“For your… What did you call it… Phone?”

“Yep, we’ll give them a call from the train.” We took our seats in one of the cabins, the weapons were a bit uncontrollable, tho… The strap of the assault rifle was at least, the pistol was held in place on my right thigh by a magnet, the stick next to the barrel to allow quick access to the trigger… “So, this is how it works…” I exclaimed, leaning in so she can see the screen too. “You go to the menu Contracts… Look for the name you want to call… Each phone has its own designated number, so one phone can be called by dialing it’s number…”

“Of which you can multiple of?” She asked.

“Yeah, here she is… We tap on the name to open information about it, to make sure we call the right person, and tap on the green icon…” The phone began ringing, meaning I was calling somebody.

“What now?” She wondered.

We wait for her to answer… She can deny an incoming call, or pick it up.” I replied.

It kept beeping for a while, before she picked up.

“See? Try it…” I whispered.

“Uhm… Hello?”

Cinthya asked through the phone.

“We’re fine, Ryan’s here too…” She replied.

“Hey, I’m getting her used to these things…” I exclaimed.

“Huh?”

“Give me a hint, a weapon? A tool?”

“Are you serious? Come on! We went through a Portal, and I’m stuck for the rest of my life in the Hungarian version of the H.E.V suit from Half Life… I don’t even know…” I replied.

“Give me a break, okay? Actually, now that you mention… I could turn the exoskeleton into an endoskeleton…” I replied.

“Yeah, but hey… This is the place we’re going to die in, I doubt it wouldn’t be worth the sacrifice to defend it…”

“Well…”
