The Earth has never been so quiet. The effects of the virus known as the Red Plague have been devastating. Over 90% of the human population has been wiped out. Those that are left have been struggling for the past 2 years for survival. Others have most certainly perished from starvation and the hands of their fellow survivors.

Jason White was a lieutenant in the 1st Infantry Division when the virus appeared. Now he is the leader of a group of 250 survivors that have spent the last 2 years since the plague scavenging the east coast for food and supplies. They have already lost so many in their struggle and Jason fears that time may be running out them. But just when all hope seems lost, a new source of light will emerge to lead the last traces of humanity to salvation and end their suffering once and for all.

This is something that has been on my mind after reading a lot of first contact stories. This is my idea if the creatures of Equestria made contact with us after the apocalypse has already occurred. Hope you all enjoy!
