//-------------------------------------------------------// (Bleep, Bloop) Achievement Unlocked: Double Rainbow- Write a Sequel -by GamingWolf- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Soliloquy //-------------------------------------------------------// Soliloquy Dèshū notices the crystal ball in her hand flash a blinding white light. A sigh leaves her. Do not be sad. "I am not sad. I just think I should bring them back now." Why? "Because even if the universe has a new Genesis, things will not change." That is why you keep them there! They would change the history drastically. Who knows what will happen? Would it not be interesting to see what happens? "But... I will be lonely. Big brudder will not be able to visit me." How many times has "Big Brudder" visited us in the past? "He... he was busy. He had a family of his own. He... did not know... how we felt   feel." After all this time, you still act like a child. "Sh-shut up!" She brings her knees up to her chest, clutching the crystal ball close to her. She stares at the shadow on the floor which stares back at her with purple eyes. How about instead of fighting, we be productive? "What do you have in mind?" Well, for starters, plan out the universe better. Because that whole magic thing did not work out so well last time. "Yeah..." Dèshū mulls over her idea, "Yeah!" If you get rid of what caused so many problems to begin with.... "Then those problems will not arise again!" We created this world when we were younger, yes? Now that we are older and more powerful... "We can put more power in the creation of the universe, making it able to maintain itself better." Do we still want ponies? I feel like we should use... humans? "No... let's make them anthropomorphic?" Anthropomorphic... humans? Dèshū giggles, "No silly. Anthropomorphic ponies! And Unicorns! And Pegasi!" Can't forget alicorns. "Right?!" She shifts her legs under her, getting more comfortable. She levitates the crystal ball in front of her, working her hands around the orb, channeling her power into the orb. But how will Griffons work out? "Huh?" She ponders about that for a moment, "Guess we will not do the whole anthro change after all." Yeah, it would've been freaky to see people with bird legs and beak faces walking around. "Now, to make the Forces." Time and Space. In the crystal ball, an explosion happens. "Now, to add Gravity and Nature." She concentrates more power into the ball, grimacing, and ignoring the pain in her delicate fingers. A huff escapes her as she leans back in her Bone Throne. A multitude of stars and colorful gases swirl around in the orb. Great! Let's take a break. You used a lot of our power. "Go big or go home," she chuckles weakly to herself. She exhales a long yawn and places the orb in her lap. After one more small yawn, she folds her arms on a rest of the the throne, and lays her head down to take a nap. Her shadow rises from the floor and plucks the orb from her lap. Hmm. Let's move forward in Time. She waves her hand over the orb and smiles as it flashes. That should have been about a couple billion years. Should we put in evolution or just suddenly make them appear? Aha! Let's do both! She reaches into the orb and holds a red, molten marble of a world between her finger and thumb. She sends comets and asteroids slamming into the planet. You will be my little project. She minimizes that solar system then expands another nearby solar system. Why just have one little project! she muses as she collides two planets together. Hell, why stop at two?! She hums happily to herself. Dèshū wakes to the giggles and snickers of Shadow. "What are you up to?" Just playing with the universe. Besides, it's your turn to create your ponies. 'member how Fazha did it? "Yeah, I remember how Father did it," she yawns and sits up, taking the orb into her hands. She scans the galaxies for a suitable planet. She reaches into the orb and finds a planet a good distance from its star. She then adds a moon, a fourth the size of the planet, to the the orbit of the planet. She breathes on the planet, cooling it off, making clouds form. She creates more clouds on the planet that soon rains water. She creates mountains, canyons, valleys, lakes, rivers, and oceans on the planet. You've gotten better at this. "Yeah, it's only my millionth planet I created," she remarks. She waves her hand over the planet making flora sprout. Pony time. "Yes." Dèshū picks up dirt, masses air, and her power in her palm. A bright light flashes and she opens her hand. Shadow awes at the male black alicorn in her hand. Dèshū repeats the process once more, creating a white female alicorn. She breathes Life into the black alicorn. "You are Primus, Father of All Pony Kind," she laid the sleeping black alicorn in a beautiful pasture. She breathes Life into the white alicorn, "You are Everus, Mother of All Pony Kind." She laid the sleeping white alicorn beside Primus. "You two will love each other for all eternity, birth many children, and love them all equally." She waves her hand over them, granting them the knowledge of speech, emotions, survival, and nature. We need to give them personalities. "Yes, yes. You can do that." Thanks. Dèshū spends the time writing out the lives of her creations and their destinies, giggling to herself every so often. This universe is going to be the best one she has ever created. She is sure of it. You should create a clone of yourself to seduce Gray. "What?" she exclaims blushing brightly, taken back by Shadow's sudden comment. You would be able to express your feelings and if things go right... "No... I can't..." she admits in defeat. What's the worst than can happen? He not want to be with you? Is he here right now? "I... he's my brudder..." Did that stop your siblings from having children with each other? Besides, you are much older than him and not related by blood. You need to stop acting like a child. I love him, too, you know. "I'll... I'll leave it up to Fate," Dèshū conjures up a gold coin with two different sides, "Heads, I do it; tails, I do not..." Go ahead. She flicks the gold coin high into the air and it lands on the ground, spinning. Shadow grins when the coin finally settles down. We obviously have to be pink. //-------------------------------------------------------// Red //-------------------------------------------------------// Red Year 3024 of the Fifth Age "He went too far!" "He needs to be brought to justice!" "This is exactly why unicorns and alicorns should not have power!" "What makes you think all unicorns were in on this?! He created a monstrosity!" The Council of the Four Clans was in an up roar over what Starswirl had done. He completely went against the teachings of the Father and Mother, by creating his own life form; and for what purpose? To directly control the Sun. Starswirl the Bearded sat in a cage in the middle of the circular theater hall. Inhibitor bindings prevented him from using his magic. His starry hat laid crumpled between his feet, his dark blue cloak matted against his grey coat, sticking to the stains of rotten produce. All life left his golden eyes. The only thing he cared about right now was whether or not they would kill Celestia. He ignored the shouts and arguing, only focusing on the short, happy moments with Celestia. "Silence!" a mare ordered over the voices of the council members, that voice made him look up. An imposing royal blue alicorn stood by his cage, her white mane flowing ethereally, and steely eyes burning. He recognized the woman as Flawless Grace, but knew her as his student. "His punishment is not for us to make!" she stated when the murmurs died down, "Father wrote: 'no pony shall create life with magic', but Mother dictates: 'that ponies should strive for their goals and stop at nothing to achieve them'. Now, Starswirl the Bearded is here for crimes against magic, but the Edicts of the Father and Mother can be interpreted in many ways. What the Edicts do say, is that when a law of the Father conflicts with a law of the Mother, the Creator mediates the conflict." "An Auscult has not been born in three Ages!" a red pegasus stallion argued. Flawless Grace smiled, "My son bears the Blaze of the Auscult." With those words, a pink alicorn stallion entered the auditorium, with a black alicorn colt at his side. The ponies gasped when they saw the white blaze embellishing the colt's muzzle. "How can we be certain that mark is not an illusion created by you alicorns!" a brown earth mare objected. The colt's eyes began to glow white and a black smoke emanated from his horn. A figure shrouded in shadow formed which hovered above the two alicorns. Two glowing green orbs appeared in the figure's face. "My little ponies," the specter spoke with a female voice, "Do you dare rebuke me now?" All the ponies in the room quickly bowed before the Creator, most quaked with fear. "Oh, Creator-" "Silence!" the Creator snapped at Flawless Grace, "I know what has transpired." The shadow took the form of a great murky alicorn and loomed over Starswirl, "Why?" Starswirl swallowed the lump in his throat, "Oh, Creator... I only created her to control the Sun, because the cold is becoming more challenging to survive!" "It is cold, because you all have forgotten about me. This is your punishment for abandoning my temples and worshiping each other. Each clan believing they are better than the other, when in all actuality, you Four need each other to survive." The Creator turned to address her creations, "My little ponies, this stallion was looking out for the well being of you all, but you were all blinded by your pride to not see. Only in Harmony will you all survive and thrive. Look past your petty differences and know that you are all the same and all serve an important role." She placed a hoof on Starswirls' cage and the cage disappeared, "Starswirl the Bearded, never give up in your pursuits of magic and always protect your daughter." Tears welled up in his eyes as he gazed up at the Creator, "She is my daughter, isn't she?" The Creator nodded then vanished in a plume of black smoke. A thud was heard as the black alicorn cult collapsed to the ground. His blaze slowly fading from his face. The shocked ponies all regained their senses and talked to each other about what transpired. Flawless Grace held her son in her hooves. "Court is adjourned," the pink alicorn stallion announced. Year 3040 of the Fifth Age "Steadfast Volition, sire, alicorn, pink of coat, purple of mane, magenta of eyes, pink of magic; Flawless Grace, dam, alicorn, blue of coat, white of mane, grey of eyes, blue of magic; beget: Dark Eidolon, male, alicorn, black of coat, crimson of mane, ruby of eyes, in the year 3020 of the Fifth Age; Nocturnal Hunter, male, alicorn, grey of coat, black/white of mane, gold of eyes, in the year 3023 of the Fifth Age; Dragon Heart, male, alicorn, black of coat, white/blue of mane, blue of eyes, in the year 3028; Killion Gorren, male, red of coat, black of mane, orange of eyes, in the year 3038 and Wolf Heart, male, white of coat, grey of mane, yellow of eyes, in the year 3032, twins." "See, Wolf? 'Twins'. Don't listen to when Luna says, she's just a big meanie." "Okay, Killy." Wolf smiled and hugged his brother, "Even if the paper didn't say we were brothers, that wouldn't change much, right?" Killy rustled Wolf's grey mane, "Exactly! It wouldn't change anything." The young red colt used his pink magic to roll up of the family scroll. The brothers sat in the dusty tower where they could hide from the searching eyes of the maids and watch their father teaching the older brothers swordsmanship in the courtyard below. Killy did not want to admit that the mansion felt a little lonely with Darklon away studying to become a scholar. "Dragon Heart, fix your stance," Steadfast Volition instructed. Dragon Heart threw the sword down out of his mouth, "Why should I use my mouth when I have magic?" "Because, there are enemies out there can disrupt magic. Now, pick up your sword. The only time it should ever leave you is when you fall in combat." Dragon Heart snorted and turned to walk away, "I prefer being called Onyx. I'm going to go train my magic with the Destruction Guild." Steadfast reared his head back, ready to smite his son with his magic, but shook his head in frustration, "Why do your brothers not want to learn swordsmanship?" He directed his question to the grey stallion that held the defensive posture he just taught them. "At ease." Nocturnal Hunter sheathed his sword, "The twins want to learn. Besides, shouting at Onyx is not the best way to get him to do something. He is a lot like you in that respect." The aged pink stallion huffed, "Yeah. I guess he is." A bell tolled five times in the distance. Nocturnal Hunter grinned at his father expectantly. "Go. Send Master Cracked Anvil my wishes." Nocturnal Hunter was already past the gates when he finished his sentence. He shook his purple mane and looked up at the tower, "You two. Get down here. Time for training." //-------------------------------------------------------// Orange //-------------------------------------------------------// Orange Nocturnal Hunter galloped through the streets, weaved in and out of traffic, he had thirty minutes to get to the smithy; the only problems being: he lived fifty minutes away, was a weak flyer, and Master Cracked Anvil hated tardiness. The cantankerous old mare was even bold enough as to chew out Steadfast Volition, the Knight Commander of the Guard. Nopony crossed the best smith in town, not even the King. As the thirty minute mark drew near, Nocturnal Hunter pushed himself harder. Too bad for the white alicorn that turned the corner in front of him. With spectacular reflexes, Nocturnal Hunter lept and did a front flip over her, unspectacularly crashing into the stone wall of a shop and crashing down in a pile of rotten cabbage. "Oh my! Gray! Are you alright?" the white alicorn mare asked concerned. "Just," a cabbage rolled off his face, "hanging out, Cel." Celestia giggled, "I see that. Where were you off in such a rush?" Gray untangle his hooves and stood, shaking cabbage off his grey coat and wings, "Smithing lessons. What are you up to?" "About to head home from the market," she replied with a weak smile. "Are they still mistreating you?" he inquired annoyed. "No! No. It's fine. If I have to pay a little extra..." she trailed off, averting her fuchsia eyes from his concerned golden gaze, "A-anyways, I bought what I needed and the materials for my father." He noticed the full bags she carried, "Let me help you with those." "No, its-" Gray used his purple magic to levitate the bags off her back and onto his, "I insist." "Thank you, Gray." The two alicorns walked down cobblestone street to her house. "How is Darklon?" she asked after moments of silence. Gray noticed her slightly rosy cheeks under her pink mane and chuckled, "He's doing great but is very busy. Ah, I have a letter for you from him, since Starswirl magically doesn't know what happens to the letters he sends you at home." Celestia snorted, "That man always blames his 'senile old age and faltering mind' or the mailmare." Another moment of silence passes as they enter the residential district and walk by stone homes with thatch roofs. "Can you thank the twins for me? They are the only ones who ever play with Luna at school. It means a lot to me and my father," she smiled. "Absolutely. It just hurts to see how people can mistreat you or your adorable little sister." "It's understandable. I-I don't blame them," Celestia nudge his shoulder, "Besides, Luna is only nice to you because you spoil her." "And you don't? How can you ever say no to such a sweetie?" Gray chuckled, "I love foals. I miss when the twins were foals. They grow up so fast." "Yes. Yes, they do," Celestia agreed. A dark blue alicorn filly charged at them, pushing Celestia out of the way. "Gray!" she chimed and hugged his neck. Gray laughed, "Well, hello there, Woona." The filly dropped of his neck and stomped her hoof at him, "Luna is Luna, not 'Woona'!" "Of course!" Gray bowed and smirked, "My apologies, Princess Woona." Luna huffed and turned her back to him, "Luna will forgive your bad manners if you give Luna candy." "I don't have any candy today..." Gray grinned mischievously and gently pushed the filly to her side, tickling her ribs with a hoof, "You will forgive me or I won't stop." Luna laughed uncontrollably, "L-Luna demands you t-to stop!" Celestia giggled as she watched the two of them play. "Nope." "Princess Luna f-finds it in her h-heart," she spoke between fits of laughter, "t-to f-forgive you!" Gray stopped and smiled, "Was that so hard?" The flustered filly hopped to her hooves, "You win this time!" She stuck out her tongue at him before running into her house. The bell tolled six times and Gray sighed. "I have to go now, Cel." Celestia took the bags off his back with yellow magic, "Okay. Thanks again, Gray." "Anytime!" Gray ran off and looked back at the top window to see a glaring midnight blue filly who pointed a hoof at a teal eye then back at him. He chuckled. Starswirl turned from the window and to his daughter who entered the kitchen, "He would make an excellent father." Celestia rolled her eyes, after hearing him say that for the thousandth time, "Gray and I are just friends, Father." She set the bags full of groceries on the kitchen table. "That is how all great romances start out as! As foalhood friends. Too bad he doesn't live next door..." Starswirl mused. Celestia bit her tongue, not wanting to say, "How would you know? You do not have any friends." Instead she opted to say, "You need to stop reading those ridiculous books, Father." Starswirl scoffed which made the bells on his hat tinkle, "Manga is not 'ridiculous'! Many talented stallions and mares invest their whole lives into writing and drawing those works of art!" "If you say so, Father," she sighed and pulled a thick tome from under the table, "Can we begin where we left off?" "Most certainly, Daughter. Most certainly." Master Cracked Anvil glared at him with unamused cyan eyes. Gray chuckled nervously, "Better late than never, right?" She cracked him over the head with an iron hoof, "You better have been saving elderly mares from a burning retirement ranch." He winced and rubbed his sore head, for someone as old and frail looking as her, she sure packed a wallop, "Just helping Celestia-" A second wallop stopped him. "Neglecting your duties for tail, eh? The apple doesn't fall far from the tree with you," the brown alicorn mare commented, "Your mother always was a mustang. Now, enough gum smacking and start up the forge." He ignored her comment and stoked the forge, "What do we have to do?" "The usual. Tonight, though, you will run the shop while I go to the docks to order supplies." He pulled the chain for the bellows with his magic, "Something special coming up?" "I wouldn't call it 'special', just need more steel for weapons." Gray frowned, "The other tribes still want to wage a war against us?" "They feel that if they can get at the riches of the alicorns, they will be able to survive the cold." Gray sighed, hopefully his mother would be able to calm the Three Tribes down at the Council meeting.
