SONIC THE COMIC: The Beast Within

It was an unusual, different, completely out of the ordinary kind of day.

And why?

Because there wasn't anything big going on since Sonic's arrival, which had been a month ago.

And of course, when there's nothing exciting happening, Sonic just doesn't like it at all.

"UUUUUUGGGGHHHH.....!!!" he groaned loudly.  "Man, I am bored. No changelings, no giant beasts, no nothing of the sort! Just--euggh---peace and quiet. Blegh!! Chunkage containment, engaged."

The irritated little hedgehog started to work over a punching bag that belonged to Big Macintosh. Eventually he got tired of that.

When Apple Bloom decided to show him to all her little friends, he got tired of that, too...just sooner than the first thing.

No matter what he did, he was likely to get bored in a Sonic Second and just bail out on the whole thing.

Then, he got an idea.

After a quick visit to Zecora, Sonic managed to get a cassette player, headphones, and a cassette of Devo's rendition of the song 'Witch Doctor', which he went back to Sweet Apple Acres to listen to.

Ah...nothing like chilling with my favorite jam, *thought Sonic as he sat on the barn’s roof.*

However, he barely noticed the cometlike streak that came down from the sky a few feet away with a CRASH!

Although, it did catch his attention when the vibrations from the crash shook him off the roof.

***YES!! FINALLY, SOME FUN!!* Sonic thought to himself, rushing towards the crash site.**

When he arrived, he saw that the spaceship looked like a car.

And out of the craft came a quintet of short, stubby aliens in the following colors: orange, blue, red, green and purple, followed by a familiar-looking red Echidna.

"KNUCKLES?!"
