Taco-bout it
Taco
Load Full StoryOctavia's furry grey chest bobbed softly as she slumbered. Her light breathing filled the air with faint peaceful hums. From head to hoof she was completely relaxed almost as if she had just spent an entire day at the Ponyville spa. In this semi-conscientious state, Octavia felt a peace similar to when as a young filly she would visit her parents' room in the early morning. The soft egg-white glow in her mind diminished as she drifted into conscientiousness.
At first she was only vaguely aware of the rise and fall of her own chest, but she soon became aware of the prescense of another. Warm thoughts of this other mare filled Octavia's mind, further rousing her from sleep.
Slowly, Octavia used her hooves to inch her body closer to the mare. Octavia only stopped once she could feel the warmth coming off the other mare and her own breath against that mare's snowy white coat. Vinyl's hoof twitched in her sleep, brushing up against Octavia's, eliciting a giggle from the cellist. She had always thought Vinyl was cute when she was sleeping.
If only Vinyl was so docile and harmless awake Octavia mused.
Being both musicians they had immediately felt a connection, but that’s where their similarities ended. Oddly enough, both Octavia and Vinyl were born in Canterlot to wealthy, high-class families. Being unicorns, Octavia's parents weren't too keen on having an earth pony foal, but they loved her just the same. On her third birthday Octavia's parents got her a tiny 1/8 sized cello, she instantly fell in love. She was a quick learner and soon Octavia was taking private lessons. In the meantime Octavia's parents made sure that she grew up a "proper" mare by sending her to finest private schools in Canterlot. Music certainly wasn't the highest pay career out there, but the Canterlot elites always needed musicians at formal functions so it was at least respectable enough for her parents to approve of.
From the start Vinyl was a stubborn filly. She had her first encounter with music when her parents made her take piano lessons. Despite being decent at it, Vinyl came to despise the piano, quitting it all together. Another thing Vinyl dislike was school. She loved just having fun with others, but all the snotty rich kids were no fun. She refused to learn proper etiquette and grew more unruly each year. Eventually, her parents made a compromise and agreed to send her to public school, where they hoped she would make some friends and quiet down. Vinyl couldn't careless about her grades, instead she went to parties and became involved in Canterlot's underground music scene. Finally the whole situate went so far that Vinyl's parents threatened to disown her unless she cleaned up her act. Sick of high-society and her snobbish parents, Vinyl set off on her own at the age of sixteen. She made a living by DJing at local clubs and mooching off her friends until she was eighteen and could afford an apartment.
It was only by a long and strangely parculiar set of circumstances that Octavia and Vinyl ended up sharing the same apartment. Their personalities differed almost as much as their styles of music. Octavia was the reserved and sophisticated cellist, Vinyl the loud and rebellious disc jockey. Yet they continued to grow closer in this odd relationship, until one day they became a bit more than friends.
Looking back on their relationship, Octavia pondered, It is quite hard to believe really. It’s easy enough to understand how we became roommates… but I don’t think I’ll ever understand how… well this whole relationship thing got started. It happened so slowly. I don’t think either of us realized it until we were going out regularly. Imagine that! going out with somebody, constantly sharing dinners and dances, then after everything, you finally realize “Hey I’m actually dating this mare.”
Octavia would be lying if she said their differences hadn't caused problems in their relationship before. However, she had learned to accept these differences because Vinyl brought excitement to her life. She'd hate to admit it, but Octavia thought dating someone similar to herself would be rather boring compared to life with Vinyl. Still, that did NOT mean that Octavia didn't find Vinyl's antics... obnoxious at times. However at this moment, with herself so close to Vinyl, Octavia couldn't feel more content with their relationship.
In fact she was about to get a lot more content.
Octavia hooked her body around Vinyl's in a classic "snuggle position". Octavia’s barrel gentle brush up against Vinyl's as she bathed in their shared body heat. The extended contact must have cause a few neurons to randomly fire in Vinyl's unconscious synapse, because the resulting twitches made Octavia coo with delight.
Octavia decided it was time to get vinyl up, the naughty way.
Octavia lifted her muzzle up over Vinyl's neck and began nibbling her ear. Octavia, applied just enough pressure to nips to get through to the drowsy DJ while still being playful. Octavia cracked opened her eyes for the first time that morning in order to look upon her gorgeous lover. But what she saw caused her brain to literally crash as she was unable to logically process what she saw.
"What?" Octavia, barely managed.
"mmmmmmmhh..." groaned Vinyl, "why'd ya stop?"
Octavia was unable to respond to Vinyl as she was still analyzing her surrounds. Firstly, she was used to waking up and finding the blankets missing - Vinyl often stole them in the night - but Octavia though she should have at least realized sooner that she wasn't even on a mattress. In fact they weren't even in her familiar room. Instead the "ground", if you could call it that, was yellow and rough, yet not rigid as one would suspect. The only word Octavia could think of to describe it was "crisp". The 'ground' wrapped back up on either side of them to form walls, except these walls didn't connect to a roof of any kind. Whatever it was that they were in was opened to an oddly green sky in all directions with walls cut off in half circles. Octavia didn't dare look over the edge.
By now Vinyl had finally arising from her sleepy stupor. She yawned loudly before rubbing her eyes and opening them. Within seconds of taking in her surroundings Vinyl was able to confirm Octavia's fears.
"hey 'Tavi... we're in a GIANT taco!" But Vinyl recieved no reply. Instead of responding to Vinyl she just sat there on her haunches trying really hard to understand.
"Still, not the weirdest place I've ever woken up in" Vinyl chuckled, Octavia only stared at her, dumbfounded.
"VINYL!, THIS IS NOT FUNNY IN THE SLIGHTEST!"
"ok, ok, chill out. This could all be a dream. Try pinching me Octy" Octavia looked from Vinyl to her hooves and back to Vinyl again.
"He, he... ok, Scratch that… This feels real so its probably not a dream.”
The truth that this was indeed reality was finding trouble making it into Octavia’s brain. "HOW did we get here and WHY are we here, I can't even...", Octavia said frantically. Out of the corner of her eye Octavia caught Vinyl’s out stretched mouth reaching towards the edge of the taco. "WHAT are YOU DOING?" Vinyl stopped dead in her tracks.
"Well, I thought, if this really is a giant taco, then..."
"NO, VINYL!", Octavia scolded. "We just woke up on a Taco, of all things, and the first thing you do is try to eat it?"
"Well I…-" Octavia cut Vinyl off again.
"It could be poisonous.”
"Why would someone poison a taco?" Questioned Vinyl.
"I don't know, why are we even on a taco in the first place?" Octavia countered, throwing up her hooves in anger. “ Ughh… Sometimes you do the stupidest things”.
“Spontameous!” Vinyl spouted.
“What?”
“You called it being spontameous, you said it was one of the things you love most about me."
“It’s spontaneous Vinyl... Ohhhh and I just love it when you ‘spontaneously’ decide to go out all night, get drunk and disappear for hours, sometimes even days.” Vinyl’s face skewed at Octavia’s statement.
“What does that have to do with-”
“It’s not that I think you’ll be unfaithful or anything, no, I just worry a lot. You just don’t think things through sometimes. I mean for Celestia’s sake, you’ve jumped off the roof before while stone-cold sober before, how am I not suppose to worry?”
“Oh so it’s ALL about you is it,” steamed Vinyl, “Look, I’m a grown mare Octavia,
I don’t need a babysitter.”
“Yes and I know that. Of course I can’t be with you every second. An occasional outing, maybe, but the clubs and the parties; it’s just not me.” A deadly silence filled the walls of the taco. Looking around Octavia finally said, “You know what, this is silly, now is neither the time nor the place for this argument”
“Now there is something we can both agree on” Vinyl grinned. “We can… TACO-bout it later” She then proceeded to burst into laughter which Octavia herself was unable to resist.
With there little relationship quarrel put on hold, the true weight of their situation finally began to settle in. Octavia felt around the edges of the cooked corn to confirm that it was in fact real and not some trippy fever dream. Octavia, despite her better judgement, went to the edge of the taco expiremetally stuck a hoof off the edge. And she felt nothing. There was no wind. No sign of heat or smell in the air. As far as she could tell, what lay beyond the edges of the taco was an endless void. The resounding silence that seemed to muffle everything only seemed to confirm the fact that they were utterly alone.
“So ‘Octy got any ideas?”
With a face of absolute confusion Octavia managed "I have no idea what's going on."
“I know right! Isn’t this awesome” Vinyl said, a bit too enthusiastically.
“No it most certainly is not!”
Faking a cry, Vinyl whined, “Aaaah come on Octy don’t be such a kill-joy. Think of all the insane opportunities this gives us. I mean it doesn’t look like we’re in immediate danger, we’re certainly not gunna starve. Just think, How many times in you life will you get to be on a giant taco?"
Octavia was not amused. “I have Cello practice and I do not have time for frivo-… wait…” - Octavia’s expression quickly became grim - “do I have a CONCERT today?” She was positive horrified at the thought of missing a performance. Despite already being grey, her face visibly paled... somehow.
“Don’t worry ‘Tavi everything…”
Octavia cut Vinyl off with what seemed like a wave of verbal assualt.
“What will I tell them? There’s NOTHING more important than this performance! They’ll NEVER believe why I couldn’t make it. Dear sweet Celestia my reputation will be RUINED!” Octavia ran out of breath from speaking and yelling so fast.
“Well, we got stuck in a giant taco so I guess you could tell them…” Vinyl put on her own trademark purple shades, “we got… Wrapped up. YEEEEEEAAAAH-”
“No, stop” Octavia interposed, placing her hoof firmly over Vinyl’s muzzle. “That’s not funny, Vinyl, now is not the time for your immature jokes!”
“Yeah I know , but it was just too perfect.”
Octavia glared harshly at her, Does that mare have ANY self-control?
“Really though, trust me Octavia weird stuff like this happens all the time
in Ponyville, but it never lasts more than a day. I’m sure this will blow over.”
“But-” Octavia began to protesting however, when she thought about it, what Vinyl said did make some sense. “OK, you’re right, I think I was just getting a bit overwhelmed by this” her breathing was finally returning to normal. “But we have to do something! I can’t just wait until we magically pop back to Equestria. Why don’t you use your horn to do something.”
“Who do I look like? Twilight Sparkle?” Vinyl rolling her eyes. “Octavia, I use my horn for DJing and everyday shit, I wouldn’t know where to start looking for what magical forces are behind this. It might not even be magical, it could be some freaky natural portal.”
No Octavia thought, Nothing about this seems natural in the slightest. Then again… nothing about random portals leading to strange alternate dimensions seemed natural either…
The two mares just sat there for several minutes pondering their situation. Well, Octavia did anyway, Vinyl who had broken off another piece of taco, was eating it.
Gradually a sly grinned crept up on Vinyl’s face, the telling sign of a great/horrible idea.
Octavia noticed and hesitantly lifted a hoof “What is it?”
Vinyl smurked at Octavia, blurting out, “We should have sex!”
Seconds of painstakingly drawn out silence filled the space between the taco, as Vinyl await the response of the then profusely blushing Octavia.
It then occurred to Octavia that… that, would have been the most likely ending to their earlier spooning, if of course, they hadn’t been in a giant taco. Also true, Octavia had planned on making up for their recently rocky relationship. But now couldn’t possible have been a more inappropriate time or place for it.
“You can’t possible be suggesting…” Octavia stopped to watch Vinyl perform several gestures with her hooves, which look very vague because of the simple design of hooves, yet somehow managed to come across as lewd.
“Vinyl, I don’t thin-”
“Oh come ooon Tavi’, I’ve always wanted to have sex on a giant Taco.”
Octavia gave Vinyl what must have been the fifth incredulous stare that morning.
“No you haven’t” Octavia dead-panned.
“Ok, well, not always, but now that I know it’s possible I really wanted to!”
Octavia just remained silent. Then Vinyl began doing things. Very convincing things.
Octavia watched as Vinyl swung around and dropped her back legs. Swishing her tail to and fro, she looked backed to see Octavia, who was unable to looking away. Octavia blushed profusely as she couldn’t help but notice every little bounce, ripple and wiggle. After teasing her , Vinyl walked up the length of the taco, making sure that her tail gently tickled Octavia’s sides each time she walked past.
O-oh no, Octavia gulped. She could already feel beads of sweat forming on her forehead.
Being a long-time attendee at the club had definitely taught Vinyl how to move her body. Octavia was helpless to prevent her growing arousal as Vinyl’s hooves ran down her spine, stopping just short.
“Octyeeeee, come ooooon, I know how much you looove my bass cannon”.
Octavia crossed her legs in a futile attempt to stop a faucet, that was about to become very leaky.
Oh, Celestia. She couldn’t remember the last time Vinyl was this sultry, she could just feel the heat radiating off her, almost taste the salt on her lips as sweat evaporated. By the time Vinyl came around for another pass, Octavia wasn’t in too good of shape. She felt as if waterfalls of sweat were coming of her darkened coat and she could’ve sworn she was running a temperature of at least one-hundred and three.
Finally Vinyl began approaching Octavia straight on from the other end of the taco. Her eyes narrowed like a hawk rapidly approaching its prey. With every closing step Vinyl took, Octavia’s control slipped away. Soon, Vinyl was so close to Octavia that any movement would have caused Vinyl’s muzzle to brush Octavia’s ear. Then, right in the mare’s ear, Vinyl sung in a deep, low timbre, “Can you… rosin my bow , please”
hhhhnnnngggg, damn you, Vinyl, you bloody siren.
That was it.
The last straw.
What little self-control Octavia had left dissolved like salt in water. In a fraction of a second Octavia flung herself around Vinyl in what looked liked an attempt to merge with her, it wasn’t completely a failure either. Catching each other in a tight embrace, their lips smashed together with the force of a cold fusion reactor. And once it had started, nothing was going to stop these two from bucking like carnal beasts, until they couldn’t remember their own names. The fact that they were on a Taco became irrelevant as their minds were consumed with primordial lust…
“oohh… hnng… Vinyyyl… I-aaa” Octavia gasped in between pants, her well-spoken equestian had become little more than lewd screams and moans under Vinyl’s attention.
Then she felt it inside her, the pleasure she was feeling had been growing like a dammed river for what felt like hours now, but in a split second everything stop. Like the calm before the storm, Octavia could see the event horizon of her approaching orgasm, but nothing could have prepared her.
Then, it all came crashing down, all the levees and storm gates in the world couldn’t stop the rushing waves of pleasure that rolled through her body.
Visibly shaking, Octavia collapsed in a pool of her own sweat and other fluids.
Stifling a chuckle, Vinyl started, “Wow that was-”, however before she could finish a great lerch cut her off. The by then soaking shell of the Taco had become like wet paper and finally gave out underneath the two. Screaming for their lives the two mares plunged into the endless green void.
Suddenly the feeling of falling stop. Octavia could feel something under her feet again, and it wasn’t a taco. The moment she opened her eyes the familiar cluttered and contrasting view of her room melted into existence.
“huh..?”
Turning her head, Octavia saw Vinyl standing right next to her, equally as confused as herself.
“You alright?”
“Yeah I think so, WAIT what time is it!”
A quick glance at the clock and Octavia sighed with relief.
“Thank Goodness, I won’t be late for my performance, I have hours in fact.”
“What! only 8:30, I don’t even get up this early!” huffed Vinyl.
“Would you fancy an early morning walk then?”
Seeing has Vinyl had nothing better to do this early, she gladly accepted.
However, just before reaching the door she caught a whiff of her own fur.
“On second thought, maybe we should take a shower first”
