Despite this assertive display, those fifteen minutes came back to haunt her as spring fashion season rolled around and Ponyville’s softest face graced the covers of fashion and lifestyle magazines as the town’s most eligible mare. Is it really so much to want to stay out of the limelight, out of the way of shallow suitors and help a friend in need?

The Cutie Mark Crusaders have a bit of a reputation in Ponyville. Cute but cacophonic, the trio of adventurous blank-flanked fillies can practically hide in plain sight due to most of the residents writing them off as funny background events. Because of this and the fact her friends would never expect her to lie to them, nopony seems to notice that Scootaloo never seems to go back to her home in Cloudsdale. Or outside Ponyville. Was it near the Everfree Forest? The location of her home seemed to change as often as she got hungry…
