The Applejack Special
The Applejack Special
Load Full Story"Crystal, can you tell me where it is we're going?" Galaxy asked his marefriend, Crystal. They had been dating each other since they were in High School and have grown very close to one another during that time.
"Nope!" Crystal laughed in a bubbly voice. "It's not a surprise if I spoil it, silly!" She laughed. She was beside him, making sure he kept his eyes closed. He'd almost bumped into a wall if Crystal hadn't warned him. Galaxy groaned. "OK, we're here!" She giggled. Galaxy opened his eyes.
"The Ponyville Bar?" Galaxy asked. Crystal nodded. "Well, since I'm of age now, I guess one cider can't hurt." Galaxy shrugged. They walked inside, with the bartender smiling at them.
"Hello, and welcome to The Ponyville Bar. I'm Silver Streak, the Bartender here." Silver smiled. "First time here right?" He asked. Galaxy and Crystal nodded.
"Yes, this is my coltfriend's first time here. We figured one cider couldn't hurt." Crystal smiled. Silver nodded.
"Got it, the 'Applejack' special coming up!" He grinned as he went to make the cider. Galaxy sat next to an orange unicorn with a red and orange mane and tail, a sun for her cutie mark, and bright green eyes. The pony next to her was a white earth pony with a long black and red coat, a book for his cutie mark, and orange mane and tail, and sapphire blue eyes. The earth pony glance over and gasped.
"Well, well, Galaxy, didn't expect to see you here." He laughed. Galaxy smiled.
"Heya, Quillton, what's new?" Galaxy asked his friend. Quillton shrugged.
"Not much, just talking to Sunset here, which I'm sure you know." Sunset turned around and gasped when she saw Galaxy.
"Galaxy!" She laughed and hugged him. Galaxy hugged his friend back. Crystal smiled.
"Oh, guys, this is my marefriend Crystal. Crystal, this is Quillton Brooks and his marefriend Sunset Shimmer." Galaxy said. Quillton and Sunset smiled. Crystal waved.
"Hello." She said. Sunset whispered something in Quillton's ear, and he nodded.
"Hey, Crystal, why don't you and I go sit somewhere and let the boys talk?" Sunset asked. Crystal nodded and kissed Galaxy.
"Behave." Sunset and Crystal told the two stallions.
"No promises." Quillton and Galaxy said in unison. They looked at each other, then laughed.
"So, how's my travel buddy doing?" Quillton asked. Galaxy shrugged.
"Good, to say in the least." Galaxy said. "What about you? Any luck fixing that TARDIS yet?" Galaxy asked. A few years ago, Galaxy learned that Quillton had been fixing a broken Type 43 TARDIS made to look like a normal ordinary blue police box. Quillton shrugged.
"It's going slow. That thing is basically complete, but it's missing an Eye of Harmony." He said. Their drinks had came and Galaxy picked up his mug. He tasted the cider, and his eyes went wide. "Good isn't it?" Quillton asked as he sipped his. Galaxy nodded.
"Oh yeah, I could get used to coming here." He smiled. That's when they heard a voice from the end of the table. A bright blue unicorn with magenta eyes and a bluish white mane and tail with a moon and wand for her cutie mark was sitting a few seats from them.
"Trixie." Galaxy and Quillton sighed.
"Hey Bartender! The Great and Powerful Trixie requires more cider!" Trixie's eyes were blood shot.
"I think she's had too much cider." Quillton said. Galaxy nodded. "Though I have wondered where she's been, and now I know."
"Drowning her sorrows at a bar." Galaxy laughed. Trixie ignored them and drank her cider.
"One more for...." She said before passing out on the floor. Galaxy and Quillton stared at her. She then shot up and raced to the restroom at which point a loud hurling noise came from her. She was throwing up because she had too much cider. "Shit." She groaned as she walked out of the bar, completely tired and not feeling well.
"Definitely way too much." Quillton sighed. Galaxy set his drink down.
"So, Quillton, when did you and Sunset get together?" He asked. Quillton pondered.
"Probably around the time I helped save her world from the Dazzlings. She respected me after that." He said, sipping his cider. Galaxy whistled in appreciation. "What about you? When did you and Crystal get together?" He asked. Galaxy got a cider refill. He drank it then thought for a moment.
"High School, 10th grade for me, 9th for her." Galaxy said. Quillton pondered.
"You're not her Senpai, are you?" He asked. Galaxy choked on his drink and set it down.
"No, not that I'm aware of." He told Quillton after getting his second refill.
"OK, just checking. How many ciders have you had?" Quillton asked. Galaxy scratched his head.
"About three or four now." He said, his eyes a little blood shot. Quillton took his mug.
"I think you've had enough there, buddy." He laughed, Galaxy looked at him.
"Why? I feel fine." Then he stared at the wall. "What're you looking at, you unholy thing from hell?" Galaxy asked the wall. Sunset came back, and noticed Galaxy.
"He's drunk, isn't he?" Sunset asked.
"Bartender! I need another frickin' cider...." Galaxy said before collapsing. Quillton nodded.
"Oh yeah, he's drunk." He said. Galaxy shot up.
"I tell ya, that stuff is my shit now." He said before collapsing again.
"Definitely." Sunset and Quillton said. Galaxy pointed a hoof up.
"Screw it, I'm fine." He said, his hoof falling down. Crystal face hoofed as she walked over to them.
"My coltfriend is drunk, isn't he?" She asked. Quillton and Sunset nodded. Galaxy sprung up.
"I'm not drunk! I am completely fine!" Then he looked at Crystal, Quillton, and Sunset. "Why are you all doing that? Why are you all spinning around?" He mumbled before passing out for good this time. Crystal grabbed him and face hoofed.
"Take care of him." Quillton said. Crystal nodded.
"Oh I will." She told Quillton and Sunset. "Nice meeting you two." She smiled. Quillton and Sunset smiled back. "I've got to get this one home for him to sober up a bit. See you around." Crystal said. Quillton sighed.
"Never expected Galaxy to get drunk." He laughed. Sunset laughed too.
"Well, that just proves anything can happen. What cider did he have anyways?" She asked. Quillton looked on the cider containers, and face hoofed when he saw the one Galaxy had.
"The 'Applejack' Special." He said. Sunset face hoofed.
"That's the one that makes you all loopy after three drinks." She groaned. Quillton nodded. Then, his pocket felt hot. He pulled out a key. Sunset gasped. "Does that mean..." She started. Quillton laughed.
"Oh yes, dearie! The TARDIS is fixed!" He laughed, Sunset hugged him. "All of Time and Space. Whenever and Wherever." Quillton said. The he looked at Sunset. "Where do you want to go first?" He asked, smiling. Sunset threw her hooves around him.
"Anywhere!" She smiled.
Galaxy opened his eyes and rubbed them when he got up. It was bright morning. Crystal sat on the edge of the bed, right beside him. "What the hell happened to me last night?" He asked. He rubbed his head. "I feel like I got hit by a bus." Galaxy said, blinking spots out of his eyes.
"You got drunk." Crystal told him. "Don't worry, you're sober now." She said. Galaxy sighed.
"Didn't expect to get drunk on the first time." Galaxy said. Crystal giggled.
"It was that cider you had, the 'Applejack' Special. It makes you drunk after like three drinks." She told him. "Don't worry, next time, just stick with normal cider." She kissed him. "I love you, Galaxy." Galaxy kissed her back.
"I love you, too, Crystal." He smiled. That's when a big booming sound appeared outside. They ran out to find a big blue box in their yard, with Quillton laughing. "Quillton?! You fixed it?!" Galaxy gasped.
"Oh yes!" Quillton laughed. "Come on! We've got an adventure to go on!" He said. Crystal and Galaxy looked at each other, then Quillton's TARDIS.
"Allons-Y!" They said in unison with determined smiles on their faces. Quillton's TARDIS wheezed and groaned before it vanished.
