As I looked at the new house, it wasn’t as good as our old one. Despite the house being bigger, it just didn’t look that creative. The walls were white, and the roof was black. I didn’t like or hate it, it was just so plain to me. “Here we are, our new home!” Well, at least dad’s satisfied. He looked over at me, noticing my unsatisfied look. “What’s wrong sweetie?” he asked. “Nothing,” I replied. “It’s just that…it doesn’t look or feel the same as our old home. Our old home was so bright and creative, and this one’s just dark and boring.” He thought for a second. “Well, I guess it is little plain. But hey! You could make it a whole lot better with those hands of yours!” I wasn’t buying it. “Look, think of this as your canvas. We’re starting somewhere new, like a new idea. All those memories you make here will make that canvas bright and colourful as you paint your story here. Plus, maybe the inside of the house will be a little more expressive.” I smiled. “I guess I could give it a go.” Just then, our new next-door neighbours came to greet us. One was a pink unicorn with a rainbow mane, and looked about my age. The other, was another unicorn with a dark purple mane and dark red skin. She looked a little younger than the pink unicorn. “Hi, and welcome to the creative galaxy! My name’s Artistic Inspiration, but you can call me Arty. This is my little sister Devffiti Tagz.” Thinking about the opportunity to make some new friends, I introduced myself. “My name’s Wave Cipher, but you can call me Wave. I’ve just moved here now that I’ve been accepted into Creative’s school for gifted artists.” Arty had a thrilling look on her face. “Awesome! Me and my little sister have been there for a few years now, the school’s great. Tomorrow on your first day, I could show you around and introduce you to my friends!” She looked over at the piles of boxes. “Right now, maybe I could help you unpack.” I smiled at her. “Sure!” She followed me into the house to help me unpack my things. My first friend, I thought. The next morning, it was my first day at my new school! I usually hate early Monday mornings, but today was different. I finally got into the school of my dreams, and I couldn’t wait. Arty and Devffiti showed me the way to school, and to be honest, it wasn’t that far form where we lived. Once we got to school, I was excited for the day ahead. A white Pegasus walked up to me. She had a purple mane with blue and green highlights. “Welcome to your new school! I’m Creative Galaxy, the headmistress of the school. I’m expecting great things from you, Wave.” She turned over to Arty. “Arty, I’d like you help Wave get settled into the school, and show her around.” Arty beamed. “Of course Miss Galaxy! Me and Wave are good friends, and I’ll make sure she gets settled in.” Creative smiled. “Good. Now you’d best head of to your classes.” She trotted off into the school. Me, Arty and Devffiti walked into school together, chatting. A new beginning, I thought, as I entered the dream I’d been waiting for all this time... //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2- Making new friends…and enemies. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2- Making new friends…and enemies. It was break time, and Arty was going to show me a few of her friends. She left class with her sister, leaving me. “Hey Arty wait up!” I ran out of class and tried to catch up. I was so interested in catching up with my friend that I forgot where I was going and bumped into someone. I fell to the ground, dropping my books. “Sorry sorry!” I tried getting up, and then I saw him. “No need to apologise,” he said, helping me up. “You ok?” He asked. “Yeah…” I was gazing into his eyes. He’s so cute. Then I snapped back into reality. He passed me my books. “Well, I guess I’ll see you later…” “Wave.” I replied. “Wave. See you later!” He walked off. Wait a sec, I thought, do I…have a crush on him? I caught up with Arty and saw her hanging out with some of her friends. One of them looked familiar. “Oh hi Wave! Let me introduce you to some of my friends.” I looked at them, and one of them looked like they knew me. “This is Lime Dream, Flame Catcher, Midnight Star and Purple Triangle.” And that’s when I recognised her. “Wave?” “Purple?” We hugged reached other. “OMG, I can’t believe you’re here cousin! It’s been so long!” Purple looked over at her friends. “Remember my cousin that I kept talking about? Well this is her!” I was glad that my cousin was at this school. I forgot that she goes here. We used to hang out all the time when we were kids. We used to have a lot of fun drawing and playing games. Then, when she got into her dream school, she moved away. It was sad to se her go, but I got over it eventually. I guess that’s another reason why I always wanted to move here. At lunch, I was about to go and sit with my new friends, but there was one thing in my way- bullies. They went in front of me and as I tried to move away, the kept blocking my path. “Um, do you mind? I’m trying to get past.” They refused to move. “Ha, yeah right.” Then one of the others whispered something to him, and then continued. “On second thoughts, go ahead.” Little did I know that they weren’t done yet. Walking past, they tripped me up, my lunch going flying across the room before slamming down on the floor with me. They laughed at me, with everyone else looking in shock. I tried to get up, but I kept slipping. Even my hands couldn’t get a grip. “Hey!” I heard a voice, but I was face flat and struggled to see what was going on. “Ugh what do you want Star Ray?” One of the bullies asked. “Quit picking on her!” Then I heard them walk off, saying stuff like “That idiot ruins everything” and “We’ll get her later.” Now that I assumed the bullies were gone, I tried getting up. I felt my hand grab something. It was a hoof. I managed to get back up, and then I saw him again. “You ok Wave?” He asked. “Um, yeah…kind of.” I saw Arty rush over to me. “Wave! Are you ok? We all saw what happened.” I nodded. This wasn’t the way to I wanted to start my first day. Despite making new friends, I made new enemies. At least I got through it all. //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue I was always a lonely triangle. I was always mischievous. But I was never romantic…until now. She made me realise that I was alone, with everyone around me hating me. But now I am loved and cared about, and my life isn’t a world of isolation anymore. Our life together was perfect, despite the occasional chaos I’d usually cause around Gravity Falls. That was one part of me that will never change. Everything was perfect…until "it" happened. Before "it" happened, we’d had our first child together, called Wave Cipher. (I like to call her Wava sometimes.) She’s creative, cute, and a hybrid. The end her front hooves are hands. To be honest, I think this is a gift to her. That’s one advantage in her life that ponies will never get. She’s quite special to me. Then "it" happened. She left, and I was left with Wave. She was only a small foal, so she won’t remember what happened. Deep down, I always will. We’ve always argued, and this time she’d had enough. Once the door slammed shut, she was out of my life forever. I’d rather not say anything else; it’s a dark memory. Now that "it" had happened, I wanted to move away from all of this. Wave was the only thing I have left, so I needed to move on. A few months later, we moved to a whole new universe. Every universe has some galaxies, so we moved to the creative galaxy. We’re in a new house, new life, and can have a fresh start. Now that we’re somewhere new, I can finally move on and let go of all those dark memories. I’m glad that I’ve still got Wave. Without her, I’d be forever isolated.
