Everything was dark and cold ,despite living in a fire kingdom , i quietly crawled out of bed to my table where a unlit torch stood I blew on it slightly and it instantly illuminated the room with a warm glow . i sed my magic in my horns to pack my saddlebag that lay on the floor beside me -dont pack too much only the essentials - i thought to myself as some matches;a map;some gems and a picture of jazz and me floated into the two bags which i then placed onto my back securely . i put my cloak on and used my magic to grab a pen and paper .
Dear Jazz
My dearest sister , im sorry it has to be like this but i must go now as i can't stand to be here anymore , its not your fault before you think it i just need to start new . i never wanted to go like this but i have to . remember to make your own decisions in life and do not let mother or father do shat they did to me . i love you my little sis and i promise i will see you again in the future

I got a last bag and placed all of my savings into it ,it was little but enough to live on , i wrapped the bag round my neck with a chain . i grabbed the letter in my teeth and quietly sneaked out of my room , i slipped the letter under jazz's door and took one last look at her and then slipped into the night . i heard gaurds coming from infront ,panicked i climbed up to the top of the stone wall using my sharp claws to latch on ,he was right beneath me and was walking slowly up the shadowed hallway. I silently ran to the bay window and opened my wings as i took off into the night sky .the stars shone brilliantly and the moon dimly lit the land below .this was it i was finally free to live my life as my own self and not somebody that isnt me but a shadow of what my parents wanted .
