"If you could live forever, would you do it?"

I remember her clearly, the mare I once loved with all my beating heart.

"Without you? Never?"

Her smile, as shining as the sun itself.

"hmm, what if I we both could, would you do it?"

Her voice, sweet as the honey from a bee.

"If I could spend eternity with you, I would"

Her tears... flowing like a river as she watched me die

I woke up, nothing but darkness around me and the faint sound of electricity not too far away. "Where am I?" suddenly the lights turned on, blinding me for a brief moment, "W-who's there!?" I looked around only to see what seemed like an abandoned lab, papers lay everywhere and a few cut wires crackled with electricity. "where am I?" I tried to stand up, but I instead ended up falling down from the weird chair I woke up in.

I opened my eyes, face down on the dirty tile floor. I tried to stand up once more, this time leaning on the strange chair.  "I need to get out of here" Managing to stand on my own I started trotting towards a nearby table, "Why can't I remember anything?" a faint memory started to come back "A mare... what was her name?" the closer he got to the table the clearer the memory became "Scarlet Moon?" I reached the table and used it to help me stay upright.

I examined the table only to find a few useless documents and a chemistry set. after making sure there were nothing else on the table I looked around once again, the first thing I saw was a big mirror on the wall not too far away from me. I managed to get to the mirror without much problem. what I saw in the mirror was a strong looking dark grey stallion with an overgrown light blue mane and yellow eyes devoid of any emotion. Is that me?

Before I could think any further a red laser shot past me into the wall "Intruder detected, surrender now and your death will be swift" a big robot with two long arms and a crackling wound in its chest, stood at the far end of the room. I jumped to the table for cover, my hooves crying in pain at the sudden movement. shitshitshitshit I could hear the robot moving towards the table I gotta do something, fast! that's when I noticed a laser pistol on the floor beside me. I picked it up in my mouth getting ready to fire I hope this is loaded. As the robot reached the table I lept out and aimed for its wounded chest. We shot at the same time, the robot fell down with a burning chest while I stood and held my right hoof in pain. "I guess that could have gone worse" Suddenly my right hoof started to feel kind of funny, a good feeling that removed the pain from the laser "what the..." as I looked down I saw a faint glow where the laser had hit.

I could only stare as the burned skin and fur regenerated before my eyes in the soft silver glow, making my hoof look like it had never been hurt in the first place. Ok, now that's a notch up on the strange meter I sat there staring at my hoof for about half an hour, trying to find a logical explanation to how a Pegasus could heal like that.

In the end I decided to ignore the regeneration until later, I had other things to focus on, such as getting out of the strange lab and find my way back to the city of canterlot. as I left the room I woke up in the first thing I noticed was how dirty and old everything looked "This place looks like it hasnt been cleaned in a good while".

The lab was bigger than I expected, long ,seemingly neverending hallways reaching out in every direction. I wonder if there's more of those crazy robots around Just as I thought that I heard a small clicking sound, the sound that indicates radiation close by. Deciding against my better judgement, I followed the sound to a room filled with technology in all sizes. After looking around for a bit I found the source of the sound, a small device with a screen and some buttons. As I examined the small computer I started remembering it "oh right! its a pipbuck, made by those stabletech ponies" I put the pipbuck on trying to find the map function maybe I can find a way out with it.

I managed to find the map function, but the screen was kind of glitchy, making it hard to follow the image. I thought these things were built to last As I kept trying to fix the screen when suddenly a mare could be heard trough the pipbuck.

"Recording #109"

"It worked! we managed to successfully infuse a fire spell into patient #023's Dna! For the first time in months our research has shown progress! We can't say for sure, but this new development may just give us what we need to complete..."

The recording died, as the pipbuck shut down, Oh c,mon! no matter how hard I tried the pipbuck wouldn't activate. "Great, I just lost my only way of getting out of here" I turned around to go back the way I came when I saw the green sign "Exit..."

Giving up with a sigh, I headed towards the exit when I stumbled over something, smacking my face into the floor once again. I hate this place When I turned to see what I had stepped on I was faced with a very angry and very big cockroach.

After defeating the giant roach with my bare hooves and not screaming, like a little filly, I found myself in a long hallway with a set of stairs at the end, "I guess that's the way out". At the end of the stairs, I found a closed door "Time to get out of here". I didn't know what to expect when I opened that door, but it certainly wasn't what I got.

The wasteland was not a welcome sight. This is... then I remembered.

"I'm... Dead"
