Chapters A Unexpected Romance of A Showmare
Hello my name is Fiction Quill. I am a novelist who writes stories of romance. Mainly stories of other ponies finding love. I write these stories to help others see that there is still love in the world. I don't ever see myself finding love because writing is my only love. I am completely content with being single as long as i can continue to write. I was living in Manehattan, but it is way too noisy for a novelist so i have decided to move to a quieter town one where i can have my piece and quiet but still find romance to write my stories. I moved to a town called Ponyville. I also here the Princess of Friendship Twilight Sparkle lives there so i expected it to be very interesting to live in a town with a princess. What i didn't expect is to write my own story of love i never thought i would find but i am going to save the juicy stuff for later in this tale. It all started when i moved to Ponyville.
"Ah yes fresh air sunshine and piece and quite in this small little town." I was walking through town after just unpacking to get the layout of the town and to see if i can find any romance blossoming in Ponyville, until this unusual pink earth pony approached me.
"HI! I'm Pinkie Pie." Are you new here? How long are you staying? What's your name?" I chuckle as i stick my hoof out to shake hers.
"Well hello there Miss Pinkie Pie. My name is Fiction Quill. Yes i am new here, in fact i just moved into Ponyville. I am a novelist and i moved to Ponyville to be able to have some piece and quiet while writing my novels." Pinkie gasped and shook my hoof excitedly and bouncing up and down with joy.
"OH MY GOSH! I have to throw a *Welcome to Ponyville* party for you to celebrate you moving in and do you want to be my friend and hang out sometime? By the way just call me Pinkie Pie or Pinkie or Pinks. No need to call me Miss." I couldn't help but laugh at how excited Pinkie Pie is.
"That sounds rather nice and i wouldn't mind that but not all the time i am a rather busy pony after all with my work." Pinkie Pie smiles.
"Okie dokie lokie! So what kind of novels do you write?" I beam with pride i explain about my novels.
"I write stories of romance mainly ones of other ponies that find romance with their permission of course."
"OH! I have a friend who would love to meet you then. She loves romance novels!" I laugh
"Well you might have to introduce me to this pony at the party."
"Okie dokie lokie. Meet me at Sugarcube Corner in an hour!" With that Pinkie Pie ran off to the sweet shop to get the party ready.
After an hour had past i went to Sugarcube Corner as instructed by Pinkie Pie where i found majority of Ponyville waiting for me to arrive.
"WELCOME TO PONYVILLE!" all of the ponies yelled in unison.
"Well i must say i have never received such a warm welcoming before it is a pleasure to meet you all." Everypony resumed the party afterwards and Pinkie Pie approached me once more.
"Come on Fiction i want to introduce you to my closest friends!" I followed Pinkie to the counter where i saw 5 other ponies and a baby dragon standing there talking amongst themselves until they noticed me walking over. "Hey everypony this is-" but before she could finish she was cut off by a white unicorn with a curly styled purple mane and tail.
"FICTION QUILL! Oh my star's darling i am ever so delighted to meet you! i own every single one of your novels and might i say they are quite divine!" I chuckle as i run the back of my neck.
"So you must be the friend that loves romance novels that Pinkie Pie told me about."
"Why yes. My name is Rarity i own a Boutique here in Ponyville. So you are the new resident here?"
"Why yes i am."
"That is marvelous to here darling. Welcome to our little town. I also must say your novels sound so realistic for being fiction novels." I couldn't help but chuckle.
"Although my name is Fiction Quill my novels aren't fiction at all. When i see a pony find romance i get their permission to write a novel about them."
"Oh my i had no idea maybe if i find a romance you could write one about me?" I smile.
"I would be happy to Miss Rarity."
"Oh just call me Rarity darling" Rarity then winks at me. As she did the little dragon gave me a angry glare. i merely laugh at the dragon's jealousy and smile at Rarity.
"Very well Rarity but i will ask that you please don't try to flirt with me. Not trying to be rude or anything but i am not looking for a relationship just here for the piece and quiet to write my novels." Rarity frowns
"Oh i see i am very sorry darling i didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable." I smile at her reassuringly.
"It is alright Rarity i would enjoy being friends though but at this current point and time i am not interesting and finding romance for myself just trying to help others realize romance is still out there through my novels." Rarity smiles.
"I would like that very much darling and i am very appreciative that you told me straight forward that you aren't interested in me instead of leading me on."
"No i can't stand those type of ponies and in fact i actually expose those type of ponies so that way other ponies don't get used or led on." As i turn towards the others i notice one of Pinkie Pie's friends is Princess Twilight Sparkle.
"P-Princess Twilight! Your grace." I bow my head in respect for the Alicorn.
"Please Fiction Quill there is no need to bow. I may be a princess but i don't consider myself better than anypony else." I stand up and smile.
"You are too kind Prince-" Twilight put her hoof to my muzzle to silence me.
"No need for formalities either just call me Twilight." Both of us smile and i nod.
"Alright Twilight."
Pinkie Pie Bounces in and introduces me to the rest of the group. First pointing to a cyan colored pegasus with a rainbow mane and tail. "This is Rainbow Dash."
The cyan mare flies over and greets you. "Yo! Names Rainbow Dash. Best flyer in all of Ponyville dare i say Equestria."
Pinkie then points to a orange colored earth pony wearing a cowboy hat. "This is Applejack."
Applejack tips her hat as a greeting. "Howdy there partner!"
Pinkie then points to the cream colored pegasus with a pink mane and tail which appears to be very timid and shy. "This is Fluttershy."
Fluttershy quietly greets you. "H-Hello Fiction Quill..."
Pinkie then points to the last one of their group which is the baby dragon you noticed. "And this is Twilight's assistant Spike!"
"Number 1 assistant actually!" Spike corrected Pinkie which Twilight nods in agreement.
"Oopsy my bad." we all share a little laugh.
I continued to have fun at the party with Pinkie Pie and her friends. After the party i headed back home to get some rest for the next day ahead of me.
It was morning now and i began the day with breakfast and some crossword puzzles to get my brain going. After breakfast and a few puzzles i go out for a stroll to get some fresh air and to hopefully find some romance to write a new novel about. Sadly though this town seems like it doesn't have any new blossoming romances to write about, in fact this town seems to be more focused on friendship than romance. I wasn't getting anywhere so i decided to quit for the day and just go to the apple stand in town ran by applejack and a large red stallion.
"Well howdy there fiction! How are you this afternoon?"
"I am doing alright i guess i was hoping to find some new material to write about but no luck. So who is this with you?"
"Oh! This is my big brother Big Macintosh."
"How do you do sir? Are you enjoying this day?" Big Mac nods.
"Eeyup. But none of this sir business though i am not much into formalities so just call me Big Mac."
"Very well Big Mac. Anyways i would like to buy a few apples i am feeling quite famished." Applejack smiles and hands me 3 apples.
"That will be 3 bits please." I hand her 3 bits with a warming smile.
"Thank you Applejack and Big Mac. Oh one more thing. Which way is the library?" Applejack frowns.
"Well we don't have a library anymore. It got destroyed by a varmin named Tirek. It was Twilight's home until he blew it up. But if you are wanting to read something i am sure Twilight wouldn't mind opening up her personal library to you." I nod as I tip my hat off to Applejack and Big Mac.
"Thank you Applejack and i will be sure to send my apologies and regards to the princess when i see her." after i bid them farewell i begin to trot towards Twilight's castle.
While on my way to the castle i notice Fluttershy conversing with a strange looking creature. I became curious on who and what this creature is so i decide to go and strike a conversation with them.
"Good afternoon Fluttershy. how are you doing?"
"Oh! Good afternoon Fiction! Me and my friend where just about to go and have some tea over at my cottage. Would you like to join us?"
"That sounds inviting but i am heading over to Twilight's to do some reading. I am curious though who and what is your friend here?"
"Where are my manners. This is my friend Discord. Discord meet Fiction Quill. He just moved to Ponyville Yesterday." Discord levitated off of the ground in front of me.
"Why hello there Fiction Quill! As Fluttershy said i am Discord. The spirit of chaos and disharmony. Delighted to me you!"
"The pleasure is mine Discord. I have heard about you before. You sent Equestria into a total state of chaos before if i remember right. I am guessing you have reformed?"
"Oh yes i have! Thanks to Fluttershy here." Both Fluttershy and Discord smiled at one another and i am guessing she couldn't see it but i could tell by the look in Discords eyes that he has feelings for Fluttershy which caused me to smirk.
"Well i need to be going to i will see you two later." i waved goodbye to Discord and Fluttershy as they waved goodbye to me as i made my way to Twilight's castle once more.
When i made it to Twilight's castle i saw a small yellow and red wagon with a sign that had a star wand on it.
"It appears she has a guest i hope i am not intruding." I begin to open the front doors to the castle as Spike steps out of the castle.
"Hey Fiction! What brings to here?"
"Hello Spike. I was just coming to see if Twilight wouldn't mind if i could use her library."
"Well you need to ask Twilight about that but i am sure she won't mind. Anyways i have to go run a errand for her so just go on in."
"Alright. Thanks Spike." Spike took off as i walked into the castle and began calling for Twilight.
"Twilight? Are you home?" Twilight and a blue unicorn mare with a white mane and tail and a cutie mare that looks the same as the sign on the wagon outside walks out of Twilight's library after hearing you call.
"Oh! Fiction Quill! how nice of you to stop by! I know you only just arrived but me and my friend Trixie have something important to do."
I finally take a good look at the one she calls Trixie and i begin to blush. Wow she is so beautiful. Wait what am i thinking?! I came to Ponyville to write novels of romance not to find romance for myself!
"Um are you OK Fiction?" Twilight breaks me out of my trance and i walk towards them and spoke to the blue unicorn.
"My apologies i was spacing out. Anyways Twilight says your name is Trixie right? Well Twilight has already said my name but i do believe a proper introduction is in order. My name is Fiction Quill. You may or may not have heard of me but i am a novelist but it is an honor to meet you." I bow in respect for Trixie Which causes her to blush a little.
"Oh well yes i have actually. My full name is Trixie Lulamoon. I may not own any of them but i have read every one of your novels at least 3 times each and actually the pleasure is all mine Fiction but i am flattered." That causes me to blush as i look into those purple eyes of hers. Twilight may have the same eye color but Trixie's eyes have something about them that make them shine brighter to me. Twilight smirked as she could see the way we are looking at each other.
"Well as i said me and Trixie have something important to do but you are welcome to come along if you want." I smile and nod as i agree to go with them. I think i am going to enjoy life in Ponyville after all.
A Unexpected Romance of A Showmare
Trixie, Twilight, and I were on our way to meet up with Twilight's friends Trixie being a bit nervous so i try to strike a conversation to get her mind off of what was make her so nervous.
"So Miss Lulamoon-"
"Please just call me Trixie." Trixie simply smiles which causes me to smile.
"Very well Trixie. Why don't you tell me a bit about yourself?"
"Well Trixie is a traveling showmare i put on shows of magic for other ponies to enjoy. Though Trixie isn't as good as she would like to be." I look at Trixie confused.
"Why are you speaking in third person?" Trixie blushes out of embarrassment.
"Oops i did it again didn't i?" Twilight giggles and nods. "I Apologize i used to talk in third person in the past but i am trying to change that like i changed myself." I nod and being a bit curious of what she is talking about.
"What do you mean by changed?" Trixie immediately has a depressed look on her face as she stares at the ground.
"Lets just say Trix-i haven't always been a good pony." You put a wing around her trying to comfort her.
"If you like you can tell me about it if you are comfortable with it that is but i wont force you." Trixie nods and tells me about the incident with the Ursa Minor and the entire time she was in Ponyville at that time.
"That's pretty much what happened." I nod as i give her a comforting smile.
"Well i can kind of understand why you are nervous to see Twilight's friends now but what you did wasn't that horrible. Everypony makes mistakes from time to time. What matters is you are taking responsibility for your actions. I am sure everything will be fine." Trixie gave me a small smile but then went back to staring at the ground.
If you knew what i did to them after that then you wouldn't be saying that. Trixie thought to herself.
As Twilight, Trixie, and I were walking many of the ponies in town were giving her angry glares that felt like daggers. Trixie and Twilight noticed this as well as tears started to form in Trixie's eyes until me and Twilight sent them angry glares back. Trixie still had tears in her eyes regardless because she felt guilty for what she has done. We arrived to a spot where Twilight's friends were waiting for us with a picnic set up. They noticed us and started smiling and waving until they noticed Trixie which caused their happy expressions turn to expressions of anger. Rainbow Dash was the first to speak up.
"Hey Twi glad you could make it." Rarity nodded and smiled at me and Twilight.
"Yes and it is very nice to see you joining us as well Fiction." Applejack though continued to have an angry look on her face.
"Yes we are happy to see you two, but what is SHE doing here?!" She points as Trixie which causes her to back up in fear until i wrapped a wing around her again in comfort.
"Yeah Twi what gives? Why did you bring HER here she isn't wanted here." Tears once again began to form in Trixie's eyes as Twilight began to speak.
"SHE is the reason i called you all here. I want you all to be friends with her and help Ponyville to forgive her."
"WHAT?!" All of her friends yelled in unison.
"Darling you can't be serious?!" Applejack nodded to Rarity's response.
"Yeah Twilight how can you expect us to forgive her after what she has done?!" Pinkie Pie also nodded.
"I usually love to make new friends Twilight but Trixie is a big mean meany pants!" That's when my anger began to grow. Rainbow once again decided to speak.
"We are sorry Twi but we can't be friends with a monster like her!" That's when Trixie burst into unrelenting tears and i couldn't take this anymore.
"You all should be ashamed of yourselves! Here she is trying to make amends and make up for her mistakes and all you can do is ridicule and criticize her?! I though you was supposed to be the bearers of the Elements of Harmony you all told me about at the party! Elements of Harmony my flank! None of you deserve to be bearers of the Elements! You have all accepted Discord and forgave him for what he has done and yet his actions are far worse than Trixie's, so why can't you do the same for her?! I HAVE NEVER MET SUCH A GROUP OF HYPOCRITICAL FRIENDS IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!" As soon as my ranting was done all they could do was stare at me slack-jawed with expressions of shock on their faces. Even Trixie and Twilight were in shock at my outburst. Fluttershy was slightly frightened from my outburst but decided to speak her mind.
"I am sorry girls but he is right. If we can give Discord a chance why can't we give Trixie a chance? We can't hold a grudge on Trixie. We need to give her a chance." They all now began to feel guilty at their actions.
"Your Right sugarcube. We are sorry." I now began to feel guilty from my outburst.
"I am sorry too girls. I didn't mean the hurtful things i said but it isn't fair of what you are doing to Trixie. She deserves a chance to show that she is sorry for what she has done and that she wants to make up for it." Rarity nods.
"And you are perfectly right darling your outburst was understandable and we should be ashamed of ourselves. Trixie we are sorry for the things we said we hope you can forgive us and are still willing to let us help you." Trixie wiped her eyes and smiled.
"Of course i forgive you. You have every right to be angry with me and i would love the help." Applejack looks at Twilight and Trixie.
"I am sorry too and i am willing to help but i still don't trust you yet Trixie. It's going to take a lot for me to trust you." Trixie nodded in understanding and Twilight sighed.
"Well its a start at least. Come on lets eat no since in letting this picnic go to waste."
Well all sat down and enjoyed our picnic. We all sat and talked as we ate. After the picnic Twilight sent me and Trixie ahead so she could talk to her friends alone for a minute.
"Thank you girls for agreeing to this but one thing i can tell Trixie has a thing for Fiction Quill and i think he might have a thing for her too."
They all gasped and Rarity felt a little jealous. "I thought he said he wasn't interesting in having any relationships."
Twilight simply nodded. "He did and i can tell he wasn't lying but right now this is only speculation and if he does have feelings for her then he might change his mind only time will tell but i am mentioning this because if he does like i am thinking then i don't want any of you bringing up the Alicorn Amulet incident in front of him. If they do want to be together i don't want that getting in the way of that happening. Maybe if they end up together then it will help make Trixie a better pony." They all nod and Rarity reluctantly nodded too. Afterwards they all went home and after escorting Twilight and Trixie back to the castle you headed home to get a good nights sleep.
"Yo FQ! what are you up to?" I stopped and decided to take a break and talk for a little bit.
"Oh nothing much Rainbow just exercising my leg and wing muscles. I may be a writer but that doesn't mean i will allow myself to get out of shape. I am guessing FQ is my nickname for you?"
"Yep i come up with nicknames for all of my friends and yours was hard to work with so i just went with FQ." I chuckle as i land on the ground.
"That's perfectly fine actually it does have a nice ring to it."
"Well duh! because if someone as awesome as me gives you a nickname then it definitely is an awesome nickname." Trixie giggled as she nodded
"I will admit Rainbow Dash you are pretty awesome." I chuckled as at Rainbow's proud smile.
"So i take it you are the first one hanging out with Trixie today?" Rainbow Dash nodded
"Yeah i felt like i needed to be the first one to hang out with her and help her out." I smirk
"Because you are awesome right?" All three of us laughed before Rainbow answered.
"Well THAT and because i felt horrible for calling Trixie a monster yesterday and i felt like i needed to make it up to her." I smile at Rainbow Dash for her actions.
"Well Rainbow i must say that you are one loyal friend." Rainbow Dash smiled as she nodded.
"Of course. I never leave my friends or Ponyville hanging. I am the Element of Loyalty after all." I nod as i stretch my wings before turning to Trixie.
"So Trixie how is Ponyville treating you so far?" Trixie gave a weak smile.
"Things are doing a little better but most of Ponyville still doesn't want me around. What about you? How are you enjoying Ponyville?" I give Trixie a warm smile.
"I am enjoying Ponyville so far. So long as they stay civil and don't try to run you out of town." This caused Trixie to blush and Rainbow Dash smirked.
hehehe Well well i guess Twi was right. I start to hover in the air.
"Well i need to get back to my exercise. As i said i need to stay in shape afterwards i need to to find some new material to write about or at least try." We share a laugh as Trixie seemed disappointed but smiled.
"Will i be seeing you around town again today?" I smile as i nod.
"I am sure you will Trixie maybe we can go grab some lunch in a little bit together." This caused Trixie to have a bright smile.
"I would very much like that." I nod as i fly off to resume my exercises. Rainbow Dash couldn't help but smirk at Trixie and she looked at Rainbow with a confused look. "What?"
"You like him don't you?" Trixie blushed heavily.
"N-No i don't! I just think he is a great friend and it would be rude to turn down his invitation to lunch." Rainbow laughed as she rolled her eyes.
"Whatever you say Trix. Anyways i have to go home and feed Tank. Have fun on your date!" With that Rainbow Dash flew off to Cloudsdale. with Trixie giving her an agitated look before walking off back to the Castle.
A couple hours later i freshen myself up before going to take Trixie out to lunch. "What is the matter with me? Why do i feel nervous? I can't feelings for Trixie.... Can i?"
You leave you house to go pick up Trixie from the castle. After you knock on the door it opens to reveal Spike standing in the doorway. "Oh hi Fiction! what brings you here?"
"Just here to pick up Trixie to take her out to lunch." Spike smiles as he goes and fetches Trixie.
Trixie arrives outside just moments later with a big smile on her face. "It's nice to see you again Fiction! I really appreciate this."
I smile as i blush lightly. "Its no trouble at all Trixie in fact it is my pleasure." Wow she has such a beautiful smile.... There i go again! I already said i wasn't here for romance just for writing stories. Friends are the only thing i will accept! "So then shall we be off?" Trixie smiled and nodded.
"Yes we shall." I continue to smile as i spend my time with Trixie during lunch it wasn't a long but i enjoyed the time i spent with her regardless.
After lunch and walking Trixie back to the castle i began to search for some new blossoming romances but once again i found nothing so i decided to head some and prepare some dinner and head to bed. I start to think that maybe i should have a talk with Discord tomorrow about his feelings for Fluttershy. After dinner i take a quick shower before relaxing in bed and letting the peace of slumber take me until the next day.

Trixie's Realization and Fiction's Painful Past Returns
The suns bright rays shun through the windows on Trixie causing her to wake up from her peaceful sleep. Trixie sat up with a yawn.
"That was a great sleep." But when Trixie opened her eyes she realized she wasn't in Twilight's castle. "Wait where am i? How did i get here?... Oh wait! I remember last night i was visiting with Fiction and keeping him company while he wrote his book. So i am guessing... This is Fiction's room and... I AM SLEEPING IN HIS BED?!" Trixie immediately blushed at the thought of her sleeping in my bed. She looked at my pillow and buried her face in it causing her to smile warmly. His pillow... It smells just like him.. Realizing what she is doing she immediately got up and went downstairs quietly hoping not to disturbed me if i was asleep. When Trixie got downstairs she saw me sleeping soundly on the couch.
She walked over to me as i was sleeping watching me with a dorky smile on my face which caused her to giggle. "He is so cute when he is sleeping." He gave up his bed for me? He could have taken advantage of me while i was sleeping but he didn't. He really is a true gentlecolt. Trixie saw a note laying on the coffee table addressed to her. "Whats this?" the note read.
Good morning Trixie if you are reading this it probably means i am still asleep. Help yourself to whatever you want. See you when i wake up. From, Fiction Quill.
Trixie smile as she put the note down. "Fiction has been so sweet to me and has been helping me so much. Maybe i should fix him some breakfast as a thank you." Trixie starts to head into the kitchen to make some breakfast and some coffee but she get's distracted by a box labeled My Painful Reminder. "I really shouldn't go looking through his personal belongings but i have to know what would want to make him keep something as a painful reminder." Against her better judgement Trixie opened the box and what she found inside was a picture of me with another mare. The mare had a blonde main and tail that was in a long ponytail she has a white coat and her cutie mark represented make-up. What really caught Trixie's attention was that the mare was kissing me on the cheek. "Hmm i wonder who this is." On the bottom of the picture read. Lilly Make-over "Is this his sister? I don't remember him mentioning he had a sister. Maybe i should ask him about it when he wakes up."
My eyes opened slowly and i woke up from the aroma of coffee and muffins. I sat up slowly and saw Trixie bringing a tray with two cups of coffee and 8 of what smelled to be like apple muffins. "Good morning sleepy head. Trixie was wondering when you would wake up. She made you some breakfast and coffee." I smiled as i grabbed a cup of coffee from the tray and began to drink it.
"Thank you Trixie but you didn't have to make me breakfast." Trixie simply smiled and began to drink her cup.
"Well i figured since you have helped me so much and gave me the comfort of your bed while you slept on the couch the least i could do was make breakfast for you." I smiled as i nodded my head as i grabbed a muffin.
"Well i appreciate it Trixie but i did those things because i wanted to. I wouldn't have done them otherwise." Trixie giggled
"Well Trixie wanted to do this. She wouldn't have done it otherwise." I laugh as i shake my head.
"OK OK i cant argue with that." I take a bite out of a muffin Trixie made and my eyes go wide as i am chewing the muffin Trixie looks at me concerned.
"Whats wrong? Does Trixie muffins taste that bad? Oh! I knew i should have added cinnamon to the recipe! I look at her and smile.
"No quite the opposite n fact. This is the best muffin i ever tasted!" Trixie let out a sigh as she smiled.
"Oh good i was hoping they would be good that was my first time making apple muffins and i was worried they wouldn't taste good." I shake my head as i devoured another muffin.
"Are you kidding me?! These muffins are so good they would put the muffin owner in Manehattan out of business! And His muffins where the best in Manehattan!" Trixie blushed and smiled brightly at my compliment feeling confident in her cooking.
"Thank you Fiction! That really means a lot!" I smile and nod.
"Anytime Trixie." After we ate breakfast and drank our coffee i started back on my book again. Trixie decided to keep me company until i finished my book which i didn't mind. Actually i quite enjoyed her company. It made writing my novels easier for some reason. By lunch time i completely finished my book and sent it out to get it published with me personally ordering 4 copies of the book plus the original copy back when the publishing and copies were done. I like to keep the original copies for myself since i put hard work into them myself. I could tell something was on Trixie's mind but i didn't know what is was.
"Hey Trixie what's on your mind?" Trixie looked at me hesitant to ask but once again against her better judgement she did anyways.
"OK please don't be made but i looked in your box the one labeled My Painful Reminder. and saw a picture inside it. I was wondering who is Lilly Make-over? Is she your sister?" This caused me to become depressed and tears were forming in my eyes as i was staring at the ground.
"Lets just say she is somepony i used to know and leave it at that." Trixie still looked confused.
"But WHO is she?" You started to get agitated from her pressing the issue.
"Trixie please just drop it. I don't want to talk about that." But Trixie wasn't going to give up that easily.
"Fiction i am just curious to know who she is? Why is she a painful reminder? i really want to-" Before she could finish however my anger boiled to the surface and i began to cry.
"I SAID DROP IT TRIXIE!" My outburst caused Trixie to back away in fear and i took the opportunity to take off running in the opposite direction with tears streaming freely from my eyes. Trixie realized what she had done but was too shocked to go after me for the moment. After a few minutes Trixie finally gathered her courage and began to look for me. She decided to go to the castle first to get Twilight and tell her of the situation. Luckily the others was there due to Fluttershy and Discord wanting to tell them the good news of their relationship. Twilight and her friends began to search for me all over Ponyville. When Trixie was searching for me she could have sworn she saw a pony that looked exactly like the mare in the photo i had but shrugged it off too focused on finding me.
They finally heard from the mail pony named Derpy AKA Ditzy Doo that she saw me arguing with some strange new mare in town by the Quills and Sofa's store. They immediately took off towards the store which wasn't far from where they were at. After a few minutes they finally caught up to me and Trixie saw that she wasn't seeing things. There she was Lilly Make-over standing there arguing with me.
"Why do you keep doing this Lilly?! Why can't you just leave me alone?!" Lilly stood her ground and argued back.
"Because Fiction i miss you and want you back!"
"You only want me back because i did what you said i couldn't do! Become a successful novelist and make a decent living! You only want me back because i am making decent bits and you want to be able to use me for my bits! Besides why would i take you back after what you did to me?!" Lilly simply huffed and glared at me.
"Hey you shouldn't have walked in on me if you would have just stayed away from my apartment you wouldn't have saw anything." Thats when my rage boiled to the surface with me bursting into unrelenting tears.
"YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO STAY LOYAL IN A RELATIONSHIP LILLY! I LOVED YOU! YOU WERE MY SPECIAL SOMEPONY AND YOU TORE MY HEART OUT!" Lilly simply huffed again.
"All of that Special Somepony nonsense again? Please spare me! I don't believe in that nonsense. Stallions are only good for hauling furniture and of course their bits. If it wasn't for the job you had i would have never dated a loser like you!" That's when i ran off continuously cry and Trixie could handle anymore of this.
"What is your problem?! He cared about you and all you do is use and cheat on him?!" Lilly glared at Trixie but this did not cause Trixie to back down.
"Why don't you just mind your own business you stupid mare!" This only make Trixie even more furious.
"Why don't YOU just leave Fiction alone and get a life?!" This made Lilly's anger rise.
"What did you just say?!"
"You heard me! Leave Fiction alone! Now i know why he has that picture of you in a box that says My Painful Reminder Because that's all you ever are and ever will be to him!" Lilly laughs
"Why are you even defending such a loser anyways? Hold on are you-" Lilly just laughs even harder. "Oh Celestia that is priceless! You are in love with him aren't you?" Trixie's eyes widen as she blushes heavily.
"I-I am not in love with him! he his just a very close friend!" No i can't be in love with Fiction.... can i? Lilly just continues to laugh.
"You obviously are otherwise you wouldn't defend such an ugly freak!" All of the ponies around were now giving angry glares at Lilly but Trixie's rage immediately boiled to the surface and has had enough of Lilly.
"OK THAT'S IT! TRIXIE WILL NO LONGER TOLERATE YOU INSULTING FICTION ANY LONGER!!" Trixie's horn lit up and it enveloped around Lilly instantly making the mare become very fearful.
"N-No s-stop what are you doing?!" Then there was this big flash of light and everyone thought Trixie had hurt her severely but when the light vanished Lilly was shown completely unharmed.
"W-What did you do to me?!" Trixie smirk while all of the ponies around chuckled and giggled.
"Oh i just gave you a make-over Lilly" She popped a mirror in front of Lilly to reveal that her mane was completely shaved off and she was bald but now she also had a fully grown and thick Beard and mustache. This caused Lilly to scream in horror while all of the other ponies around burst out into wild laughter. Lilly then galloped as fast as she could out of Ponyville screaming the entire time but before she was able to leave Rainbow Dash swooped in and took a few pictures of her to show off to Ponyville. As soon as Lilly was gone everypony cheered and praised Trixie for defending me without causing any harm to Lilly. Trixie immediately turned to Twilight and the others.
"I-I hope none of you are mad at me for my actions." They all looked at each other smiled and shook their heads with Twilight being the one to speak.
"No Trixie in fact we are very proud of you. You have came a long way and you handle that situation without causing any harm well except for the humiliation she got." They all giggled and Applejack walked up with a smile on her face.
"Trixie you just proved to me that you have really changed and now i can honestly say that i trust you completely." Applejack pulled Trixie into a hug and the others soon joined in. Trixie smiled as she cried tears of joy.
"Thank you all but i think we should go find Fiction and see if he is alright." Twilight smirk at Trixie.
"You really are in love with him aren't you?" Trixie Blushed once again but this time she smiled and nodded her head.
"Yes i am i didn't think i was i thought it was just a simple crush but after thinking about it just now. I have realized i am. I am in love with Fiction Quill!" The others were cheering besides Rarity who was still slightly jealous. Twilight nodded and smiled
"I though so. Well come on girls lets go find Fiction!" Everyone cheered in unison and they all ran off to find me.
While the girls are searching for me i was currently crying my eyes out on top of a cloud.
"Why did she have to come back? I was perfectly happy until she showed up... Maybe i should just move to again so she wont know where i am." Just as i was about to get up and fly off i hear someone calling my name. At first i thought it was Lilly looking for me again but it turned out to be someone better. It turned out to be Trixie.
"Fiction! Where are you Fiction?! Please come out! i am really worried about you!" Trixie is looking for me and is worried about me? Maybe i should talk to her. Besides i need to apologize for yelling at her before. "Where could he be? I am really worried. Fiction!" I flew down from the cloud and landed behind her.
"I am right here Trixie." Trixie quickly turned around and immediately starting crying as she pulled me into a tight embrace crying on my chest.
"Oh Fiction! I was so worried about you! I was afraid you left Ponyville! I am so sorry for bringing up that photo and i am sorry you had to deal with that awful mare! Now i understand why you didn't want to talk about her and why you have a photo of her as a painful reminder." Trust me Trixie you still don't know the reason why i have it as a painful reminder. I rub her back softly and wrap my hooves and wings around her as i begin to calm down being in her embrace. I don't know why but being in Trixie's embrace like this makes me feel comfortable and happy.
"It's alright Trixie i forgive you and i am sorry too." Trixie looked at me confused.
"Fiction there is nothing you need to apologize for." I shake my head.
"But there is. I yelled at you when you were just trying to show concern for me so i am sorry for that but now you know the truth." Trixie nods
"Why don't we head to Twilight's castle to calm down and maybe being around our friends will help cheer you up." I smile as i nod.
"That actually sounds great right now." Trixie smiles as she once again kisses my cheek which causes me to blush heavily as we go to the castle to meet up with the others. While on our way to the castle we ran into Twilight and the others and we all walked to the castle together. Once we got into the castle Rainbow Dash began telling me how Trixie defended me.
"You should have seen it FQ! Trixie was on fire! Once that mare called you an ugly freak Trixie lost it! You should have seen what she did to her it was priceless!" I looked at Rainbow confused.
"What did Trixie do?" Rainbow then through a photo on the table of what Trixie did to Lilly and the moment i saw the photo i couldn't help but burst out laughing. I was laughing so hard that i fell out on my chair and i still continued to laugh. Even Discord was getting a kick out of it.
"HAHAHAHAHA! THIS IS PRICELESS! Very well done Trixie! That is a VERY Chaotic make-over!" Everypony began to laugh again at the photo and while everyone else was laughing i couldn't help but smile appreciatively at Trixie who was in a fit of laughter of her own.
"Trixie i can't thank you enough for defending me like that. That was very sweet of you." Trixie instantly blushes as she plays with her mane.
"It was Trixie's pleasure to defend the honor of her friend." I smile as i walk up to her.
"No i really mean it. Thank you Trixie." I smile as i reach down and kiss her hoof which causes her to turn beat red.
"Anytime Fiction." We all decided to stay the night at the Castle that night just to spend more time together. We all had a fun evening that night playing games and just laughing and spending time together. It was late at night when we all finally decide to go to sleep even with the incidents that happened that day i was still able to sleep nice and peacefully having wonderful dreams in dreamland.
A Unexpected Romance of A Showmare
The morning sun rose up in the sky as the suns rays beamed into the castle of friendship. Me and the girls were all laying in Twilight's room all of us sleeping on sleeping bags in the floor including the princess of friendship herself. Everyone of us was sleeping around each other. I opened my eyes slowly and yawned. I felt so comfortable and warm especially being around my friends. I never had friends like these before they were true friends. For some odd reason though the warmth i felt was also physical and i felt like something was putting a little bit of pressure on me and the pressure seemed familiar. I looked down and noticed something that caused me to turn beat red. Trixie laying her head on my chest with a big smile on her face sleeping peacefully. I tried to move but once i did she wrapped her hooves around me so couldn't move. I continued to stare at her my blush only getting brighter with a smile slowly appearing on my face. I instinctively started to stroke her mane and she hummed softly in her sleep until she decided to slowly open her eyes. I pulled my hoof away before she could see me stroking her mane. She looked up at me and smiled and after a few moments she finally realized she was laying on my chest. But before she could move there was a bright flash and we saw Rainbow Dash had taken a picture of us. Mine and Trixie's blushes got deeper as Rainbow laughed which caused everyone else to wake up and once again they saw us before we got a chance to move. After everyone started giggling we finally decided to sit up. Rainbow continued to giggle as she looked at the photo and showed it to the others.
"Awe look at the two love birds." Me and Trixie gave Rainbow and agitated look.
"We aren't love birds!" Me and Trixie said in unison.
Everyone started to laugh as me and Trixie continued to blush. The only one who wasn't amused but extremely jealous was Rarity. She had been jealous ever since she found out Trixie had feelings for me but her jealousy only grew seeing that i returned those feelings. Me and Trixie may like each other but we didn't know if the other felt the same. Plus i still wan't planning on being with another pony after what Lilly put me through. I had trust issues when it came to relationships and as much as i liked Trixie and though she was beautiful i still couldn't go back to dating. I refused to date ever again. Twilight shook her head as she continued to giggle.
"You know maybe you two should get together. Who knows what could come of it." Trixie smiled and blushed at the thought of that but as for me i cringed. I liked Trixie but i wasn't about to date again. Things got silent for a moment as they all felt my tension.
"Twilight. I already rejected two ponies before about this which was Rarity and Lilly. Do you really think i would change my mind now?" Trixie and the others frowned with the exception of Rarity who still felt a little bad for Trixie but at least she believed that Trixie now didn't have a chance.
"Well if not Trixie then who do you want to be with?" They all looked at me with curiosity as i sat there for a few minutes in silence.
"Nopony." They all looked at me confused and Trixie looked concerned.
"Trixie doesn't understand. What do you mean by nopony?" I sigh as my frustration grew but i wasn't about to lose my temper this time.
"It is as i said. Nopony. I don't want to be with anyone. I came here with only one thing in mind. To find piece and quiet to write my novels. Of course i never planned on making friends but at the same time i wasn't going to turn any friendship down either. I don't mind and rather enjoy having friends but as far as relationships go. Not only did i never plan on one but i don't want one." Rarity frowns this time.
"Why not darling?" I turn my head away.
"If you haven't figured out by now then there is no point in telling you." I run out of the castle and start to head towards my home. They all look at each other confused with Trixie chasing after me. Twilight starts to pace back and forth.
"I just don't get it. Trixie is in love with Fiction and i am sure Fiction has feelings for her too. So why aren't they together?" Applejack starts to rub her chin with her hoof.
"i don't know Twilight. But with how he is acting about the subject something is obviously keeping him from getting with Trixie." They all sit there and start to ponder for a moment. Except for Pinkie who starts to leave the castle. Rainbow is the first to notice.
"Pinkie? Where are you going?" Pinkie stops for a moment and looks back at them.
"Don't you girls get it? I know what it is but that doesn't matter right now. What matters is he needs his friends. He obviously left because he didn't want to talk about it. But after yesterday i knew he would need us and now he needs us more than ever." Pinkie runs out and they look at each other confused. They shrugged and decided to follow Pinkie Pie and figure out what was going on later.
While Twilight and the others just left the castle in search of me, Trixie was hot on my tail but she could keep up with me very well. Even so she was still doing her best to keep trying to catch up to me yelling to me for concern.
"Fiction! please stop and talk to me!" Knowing she isn't going to give up i finally decide to stop and talk with her.
"What is it Trixie?" Trixie stopped for a moment to calm herself down and looked at me in concern.
"Trixie is very worried about you. Please talk to Trixie. You can tell Trixie anything." I shake my head as i look at her
"Trixie there is nothing to talk about. It is my decision and nopony has the right to tell me otherwise." Trixie wouldn't back down though.
"Fiction stop trying to shut me out! I am trying to help you and to understand why you won't find love!" I turn to Trixie with an angry look on my face.
"As i mentioned before back at the castle if you haven't figured out by now then there is no point in explaining it." Trixie simply shakes her head.
"Fiction please just tell me. Since i don't understand why don't you help me understand?" I sigh knowing Trixie wasn't going to drop the subject or leave me alone until she gets her answer. Before i gave her my response Twilight and the others caught up but noticed me and Trixie are in a heated conversation so they decided to stay hidden and listen.
"Fine i will tell you exactly why i refuse to find love again or better yet i will show you." I pulled out a familiar box with a familiar label on it that said My Painful Reminder . Trixie looked at the box and then at me having an upset look on her face.
"Y-Your still in love with her aren't you?" The others looked on with concern hoping what Trixie said wasn't true. I sigh as i shake my head.
"No i am not in love with her anymore. But it is because of her that i refuse to love again! Why do you think i keep this photo as a painful reminder? I don't need a photo of her to tell me not to get back with her. My experience with her was enough to keep me from being with her again. The reason i keep this photo as a painful reminder is so that way i can remind myself to never love again! She was my first love. My special somepony. She was everything to me. We had a perfectly happy relationship together for 3 years but then she decided to date another stallion behind my back. I went to her apartment and saw them kissing. I found out that day that even the pony you love could easily be a faker ever since then i devoted my life to weeding out ponies like her to protect other ponies from experiencing the same fate and for those who already have will also see that love still exists in this world." Trixie shook her head again as she sighed
"Well maybe you have also been doing this to help yourself move on. Have you ever thought of that? Maybe you have been subconsciously writing these novels to try and heal yourself not just others!" I cringe at her response.
"At first yes but then i decided to keep this painful reminder so that wouldn't happen. Deep down i may want to love again but i can't Trixie. I can't do it with a chance of that happening again. Besides who could ever love someone like me." Trixie burst into tears as she couldn't hold back her feelings any longer.
"I do Fiction! I love you!" Trixie quickly put her hooves to her mouth. D-Did i just confess to Fiction?! All i could do was stare at her with a shocked expression. After a few minutes my shock expression turned into a upset and depressed one.
"I am sorry Trixie, but i can't. I can't love again nor can i be in another relationship. Not after having my heart broken once before. Don't get me wrong you are a beautiful and sweet mare but i just can't do this. I am sorry." Fighting back the tears i run back to my home leaving a heartbroken Trixie laying on the ground bursting into more unrelenting tears. Twilight and the other finally decided they have seen enough and ran to comfort Trixie. They took Trixie back to the castle and decided to let me have time to myself to calm down. Though they were worried about me they figured it was for the best after everything that happened in a the last couple of days.
It has been a week since my rejection to Trixie. I honestly feel horrible that i hurt Trixie but i am unable to go down that road again or at least that's what i thought. As i mentioned it has been a week since i talked with Trixie and the others. Instead i have been going around Ponyville looking for new material to write while i wait for my latest novel about Fluttershy and Discord to be published. I would have gone and talked to the others but right now i just needed my space. Luckily i found a couple of stories to write. The first i found was about a couple by the names of Lyra and BonBon. The second couple i found went by the names of Doctor Whooves and Derpy Hooves AKA Ditzy Doo. They also had a daughter by the name of Dinky Hooves AKA Dinky Doo that i could include in my novel. I got all of the information i needed to write but for some reason i just couldn't do it. I had no inspiration. I couldn't understand why but i was soon to figure out.
"*sigh* Why can't i write?! I have done this many times before but i can't seem to be able to do it! Whats the matter with me?" I heard a knock on the door and i went to answer it. When i open the door i saw Derpy carrying a package in her mouth.
"Here is a package for you Mr. Quill!" I chuckled as i took the package.
"Derpy as i mentioned before you can just call me Fiction. No need for formalities. Wow i have became a lot like my friends. I used to be so formal and now it doesn't seem that important. So who is the package from?" Derpy giggled.
"Oops sorry my bad. The package is from your friends. You know they are worried about you. Maybe you should go and see them." I opened the package to reveal a photo of Me, Trixie, Twilight, Spike, Rarity, Fluttershy, Discord, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie. all sitting together in the castle. I nearly forgotten Twilight took a photo of us the night we all stayed over. I smiled warmly as i hung the photo on my wall.
"You know i think i should. Thanks Derpy." Derpy smiled as she nodded.
"No problem Fiction! By the way how is the book coming along?" I shake my head as i sigh.
"Apologies Derpy. I have had a bad case of writer's block. For some reason i just can't seem to get my inspiration to write." Derp simply giggled and smiled as i looked at her confused.
"It's OK Fiction. Though i think i know why you are unable to write. You will soon see what i mean and the reason why." I sigh once again and nod.
"I sue hope so Derpy. Anyways i need to go see my friends i will see you soon and i promise to do my best to finish the book." Derpy gives a bright smile.
"I look forward to it!" With that Derpy flies off to continue delivering mail. I decide to put my writing on hold for now to go and visit my friends.
I approach the castle with a smile lowly appearing on my face.
"It has been a while since i have seen them. I just hope they aren't too busy." I knock on the castle doors but instead of being greeted by Spike like before i was greeted by the spirit of chaos Discord.
"Fiction! It is so delightful to see you! The others have been so worried. Come on lets go inside!" Before i could have a chance to respond Discord used his Magic to teleport us to Twilight's Library "Hey Everypony! Look who dropped by to say hello!" Twilight, Rainbow, Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie, and Applejack all saw me as a smile grew on there faces.
"Fiction!" They all ran up to me and hugged me and i happily returned the hug.
"Hey everypony i missed you all. I am sorry for being so distant i just had a lot on my mind." they all smiled as Pinkie jumped for joy.
"Its alright Fiction! We are just glad to see you are OK! You are OK aren't you? I was worried you were mad at us or worse that you didn't want to be our friend anymore and that made me so sad and-" Then Applejack put her hoof to Pinkie's mouth and had an annoyed look on her face. I couldn't help but chuckle.
"Yes Pinkie i am OK. As i said i just had a lot on my mind." Then the library doors open to reveal Spike walking in.
"Hey Twi i am back from running those- Fiction! I was wondering when you was going to stop by again. Did Derpy give you that package?" I smile as i nod.
"Yes she did spike. I take it you were the one who sent the photo Twilight?" Twilight smiled as she nodded.
"Yes i figured you were still upset. So i figured i would send something to cheer you up." I smiled appreciatively at Twilight as i gave her another hug.
"It did and it made me miss you all as well. By the way where is Trixie?" That's when everything fell silent. After a few minutes Twilight broke the silence.
"She is locked in her room. Ever since a week ago she hasn't come out. With the exception of using the bathroom and eating." I begin to stare at the floor in guilt.
"I really hurt her didn't i?" They all nod in unison. Rarity put her hoof on my shoulder in an attempt to comfort me.
"But it's not your fault darling. She can't expect you to love her in return and be with her after you have made up your mind." I simply nod keeping my gaze on the floor.
"That maybe so Rarity but if she really does love me like she says then no matter what the reason or how i did it. Once you get rejected by someone you love it destroys you inside. I should know. I have seen it happen dozens of times. It never ends well. Sure it gets better over time but it does take a long while for them to get over the person they loved." Twilight looks at me confused.
"If you know that she truly loves you then why reject her?" I shake my head.
"Because i have trust issue's now. Lilly loved me once too or maybe she didn't and i just thought she did. Either way i was in love with her and she broke my heart. How can i be so sure it won't happen again? I am too afraid to take that chance Twilight." Before Twilight could say anything Spike stepped in.
"Sometimes Fiction you have to take risks if you ever want to find love. You write romance novels you should know that. Love isn't a easy thing. There will be hard times where you will get into arguments and your love will be tested same with your belief on love. But if you truly want to find that special somepony in your life then you have to take all of the hardships with it. Even if it means getting your heart broken every once in a while. Nopony ever said love was easy but it is well worth it once you have truly found it." He looks over at Rarity and smiles and everyone could do noting except stare at Spike wit their jaws dropped. I merely chuckled as i shake my head.
"Now i understand why you were jealous when Rarity flirted with me when i first moved to Ponyville. You are in love with her aren't you? Only someone who is in love can truly understand love and everything that comes with it." Spike blushed as he scratched the back of his head and nodded. He then looked at Rarity once again and smiled.
"Yes i am in love with Rarity. It's not just a simple crush like you all think it is." Rarity could do nothing but stand there and smile as she cried.
"All of this time. I was trying to find the stallion of my dreams when i failed to see my prince charming was right here in front of me." Spike looked at Rarity shocked at first but then his eyes were also beginning to form tears.
"So then you do love me Rarity?" Rarity smiled as she pulled spike into her hooves and kissed him passionately.
"Does that answer your question my Spikey-Wikey?" Spike blushed and immediately pulled her into another kiss.
"Yes it does my fair lady." This time it was Rarity's turn to blush. She then turned to me and smiled
"Looks like you have another novel to write. Of course if Spike is also OK with it?" Spike nods and smile at me and Rarity. I chuckle as i nod.
"Well that's 3 novels i have to write now. I better be prepare for restless nights now." We all shared a laugh as i looked around the Castle hoping to see Trixie but i didn't see her anywhere. Twilight said it would be best to just leave Trixie alone for now and give her some space. As much as i wanted to apologize i knew it was best to give her some space.
After a little while longer with my friends i decided to head back home and try to get started on my novels again but to no avail i still couldn't write. I had no inspiration at all. I still didn't know why but i figured it was because i was lonely. So each day i asked one of the girls, Discord or, spike to come and keep me company while i was writing but no matter who came over nothing seemed to work.
"This doesn't make any sense! Having the Inspiration was so easy but none of my friends could even help make me more motivated. I remember when Trixie was over here when i was writing Fluttershy's and Discord's book. I never finished a book that fast before it made things so much easier and enjoyable." That's when it finally hit me. Trixie! She was the only one i felt at peace around. Like everything seemed to make sense when she was here. No... This can't be.. I have developed feelings for her. I simply chuckled as i shook my head. Well i may not have intended on finding romance, but it looks like romance has found me. It's Ironic really. When i was looking i couldn't find romance for myself anywhere but when i wasn't looking romance finally decided to look for me.
I decided that tomorrow i would go and pay a visit to Trixie to apologize to her and to see if she still has interest in me. I may not be in love wit her yet but i still feel more happy around her than i ever did with any other pony including Lilly. I also decided to have Twilight destroy my painful reminder as i won't be needing it anymore. No matter what happens tomorrow i won't let that painful reminder hold me back any longer! I decided to finally call it a day and get some rest. For tomorrow i have a lot of things to do.

A Unexpected Romance of A Showmare
New Writing Material and Alone Time With Trixie
It was the next morning and i got up bright and early. Normally i don't like to get up early but something was telling me that today was going to be a good day so i decided to get up take a shower and have an early breakfast but i didn't do any puzzles this time. My gut was telling me that i needed to go out and search for some new material and what better place to start than the spirit of chaos? So i decided to head out to Fluttershy's cottage.
"I hope this day proves to be fruitful. It has been a while since my latest novel about Fancypants and Fleur de Lis. I hope i can write one of Discord and Fluttershy assuming she returns his feelings." On my way to Fluttershy's cottage i ran into Trixie who seemed to be laying in the grass crying. I immediately go and check on Trixie to see if she is alright. Trixie notices me coming and tries to wipe away her tears not knowing that i already saw her crying.
"H-Hello Fiction! Beautiful morning isn't it?" I hope he didn't see me crying
"Why yes it is a lovely morning. Trixie are you alright?" Trixie did her best to smile trying not to be nervous.
"O-Of course i am alright. Why wouldn't i be?" I sigh and shake my head.
"Because i saw you crying Trixie." Trixie's eyes widened. Oh no! he did see me crying why did this have to happen? Trixie turned her head away as tears began to form in her eyes again.
"O-Oh its nothing just got a little bit of dirt in my eyes that's all." Trixie was about to walk away until i pulled her into a tight embrace.
"Trixie i am your friend. I am here for you. You don't have to lie to me and you don't have to try to be strong around me. I am here to help. So please tell me whats wrong Trixie." Trixie immediately burst into tears and started crying on my shoulder as she wrapped her hooves around me not wanting to let go. I pulled her into a tighter embrace and wrapped my wings around her to help comfort her more. After a few minutes she stopped crying and gave me a warming smile.
"Thank you Fiction i really needed that." I smile as look into her eyes as i blush. Such beautiful eyes.... Darn it! I i won't fall for her beauty. I refuse to get into a relationship. Not after the last time.... I let go of her and smile back at her warmly.
"You are most welcome Trixie. You are my friend and i hate to see you upset like this." She smiles and blushes lightly He is so sweet and handsome... Wait! am i falling for him?
"Thank you Fiction but i really don't want to be alone right now." I nod in understanding and smile.
"Well would you care to join me at Fluttershy's then? I need to go over there and talk with her friend Discord about something important and afterwards if you want you can join me at my home for some apple cider and apple pie?" She smiles and blushes once again and nods.
"I would love that Fiction and thank you again." Then Trixie did something unexpected. Trixie leaned in and kissed me on the cheek before we started walking to Fluttershy's together. During and even after the kiss i was blushing and smiling like a goofball the entire way to Fluttershy's. When we arrived at Fluttershy's we saw Discord and Fluttershy feeding the animals. Fluttershy and Discord notice both of us and they smile and wave at me and Trixie.
"Hello there Fiction and Trixie! what brings you here to my cottage?" Trixie and i smile at Fluttershy.
"Well i am here to talk to Discord about something and Trixie wanted to tag along and plus this will give you two a chance to hang out while i talk with Discord." Fluttershy and Discord smiles and nods as Trixie goes and hangs out with Fluttershy while me and Discord have a talk.
"So Fiction what is it you wanted to talk to me about?" I smirk at Discord which he gives me a look of confusion.
"Discord i am just going to get straight to the point. You are in love with Fluttershy aren't you?" Discords eyes widened with shock. [H-How could he have known?! i never told anypony
"I-I don't know what you are talking about." i chuckle at Discords behavior.
"Discord there is no sense in hiding it. I can tell by the way you look at her that you have feelings for her. I know this because i was once in love myself." Discord sighed knowing he isn't able to hide it.
"Yes i am in love with Fluttershy but i don't know if she feels the same way about me. So you have been in love before too?" I sigh this time hate having to think about the past.
"Yes a long time ago." Discord looked at me confused.
"What happened?" I turned my head hiding my tears.
"Lets just say things didn't work out and leave it at that. My past relationship is something i don't like to talk about." Discord begins to feel guilty of his actions.
"I am sorry i didn't mean to reopen old wounds." I shake my head holding back the tears.
"No it's perfectly fine Discord curiosity is a weakness for everypony. But the reason i bring this up is because i think you should let her know how you feel." Discord sighed once again shaking his head.
"Fiction i just can't do it. Yes there are couples dating other species but look at me! I am like a zoo merged into one animal and i have a face only a mother could love. Fluttershy could never love me not with the way i look." I shake my head and smile.
"Discord i can already tell that Fluttershy isn't the type of pony to care what others look like. Its whats on the inside that counts and that's how it should be. I can't promise you that she won't reject you but if she does it won't be because of your looks but i don't think she will. I think she returns your feelings but is too shy to tell you or thinks you don't have feelings for her." Discord puts his claw to his chin and begins to stroke his beard.
"You know i never though of that." I smile as i nod.
"So what are you waiting for? Go tell her how you feel. I am right behind you." Discord fidgets a little getting nervous.
"A-Alright here it goes." Me and Discord make our way to Fluttershy and Trixie inside the cottage. We enter the cottage with Discord still being as nervous as ever. Fluttershy and Trixie notice us and walk up to us with Trixie walking up and standing beside me.
"Hey boys how was the talk?" I smirked and looked at Discord.
"It went great but Fluttershy Discord has something very important he wants to tell you." Fluttershy smiles as she walks up to Discord.
"Yes Discord what is it you want to tell me?" Discord blushed and smiled at Fluttershy but he is obviously still nervous.
"F-Fluttershy i always wanted to tell you that I-I-I." Fluttershy smiles at him warmly as she walks closer to him.
"You what Discord?" Discord begins to sweat and looks at me for reassurance and i simply nod and Trixie looks at me and Discord confused. Discord sighs and looks at Fluttershy in a way she never saw before.
"Fluttershy i always wanted to tell you that I-I love you!" He puts his paw and claw over his mouth and closed his eyes. I can't believe i just said it! Oh i know she is going to reject me and possibly hate me now! But when Discord open his eyes at first he saw Fluttershy's eyes widened and a huge blush on her face but then a smile immediately formed on her face as her eyes started to form tears. Before Discord could say a word Fluttershy flew up and kissed him passionately on the lips. Discords eyes grew wide for a moment but then returned the kiss with just as much passion.
"Oh Discord i was so worried that you didn't feel the same way about me. I wanted to tell you how i felt for so long but i was too scared and too shy to tell you." Discords eyes grew wide once again as a smile started to form on his face.
"Fluttershy does this mean?" Fluttershy smiled as she began to cry and nodded.
"Yes Discord. I love you." Discord grabbed her and started spinning around the room both Discord and Fluttershy laughing and crying. YES! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! SHE LOVES ME!!! Both me and Trixie couldn't help but smile and then she turned to me and smirked at me.
"Did you know about this Fiction?" I chuckled as i nodded.
"Yes i did Trixie when i first met Discord and i saw the way he looked at her i knew he loved her." Trixie giggled and nodded. After Discord sat Fluttershy down he immediately picked me up and pulled me into a tight hug.
"Thank you my friend! I will never forget what you have done for us." I chuckle as i return the hug.
"You are welcome Discord and now that you two are together is it alright if i write a novel about you two? I won't do it without permission from both of you." Fluttershy and Discord both looked at me with a smile and nodded YES! FINALLY! I was wondering when i would get some new material to write! Fluttershy, Discord, and I sat down so i can interview them to get all the information i needed for my story. After the Interview Trixie and I headed back to my house. Fluttershy and Discord waved goodbye and told me that if there was anymore info in needed that i just need to ask them.
While on our way to my house Trixie started heading towards the castle.
"Trixie where are you going?" Trixie looked back at me with a small smile that seemed to be forced.
"I am going back to the castle i am sure you want to get started on your new book and i don't want to take up your time." But before Trixie could walk away i ran in front of her and blocked her path.
"Nonsense Trixie i promised you some cider and apple pie back at my place. Besides i know that you still don't want to be alone so you can just come and spend the day with me while i write my book. So long as you don't take a peek." I chuckle as Trixie smile grows.
"Are you sure? Trixie wouldn't want to impose." I smile as i nod.
"I am sure Trixie. I could use the company. By the way you talked in third person again." I chuckled again as Trixie blushed.
"I am sorry i don't mean to annoy you with that." I smile warmly at her as i shake my head.
"You don't annoy me with it Trixie. Actually i find it rather cute." This caused Trixie to blush heavily as she started fidgeting.
"Y-You really think so?" I smile and nod as i blush a little.
"Yeah i do. Plus if you feel more comfortable talking like that then you should. No sense in changing what isn't hurting anypony and if they can't accept it then they can go eat a rotten apple." She smiled and giggled as she started playing with her mane.
"Well Trixie thinks she will continue to talk like this then." We both shared a laugh as we continued to my house. When we reached my house i opened up my door for Trixie to let her in first as i lightly bowed.
"Ladies first." Trixie blushed at this while having a warm smile on her face.
"My such a gentlecolt." She smiled as she walked in and waited for me to enter. I entered the house and closed the door behind me as i put my hat on the rack.
"Make yourself at home Trixie while i go get the cider and apple pie." She smile as she sat down on the couch.
"Thank you Fiction." He really is sweet As I am in the kitchen preparing a snack for us both I notice Trixie starring into space with a bright blush on her face while playing with her mane. Hmm. I wonder what she is thinking about that's making her blush? I bring the apple cider and apple pie to the living room but Trixie has yet to notice.
"Well what are you thinking about Trixie?" This causes Trixie to jump and break her out of her daydreaming.
"O-Oh nothing." I chuckle as i hand her a mug of cider and a plate of apple pie.
"Well whatever it is it's sure making you blush. A special somepony perhaps?" She blushes heavier and shakes her head.
"N-No he isn't my special somepony but i do want him to be." I smile as i chuckle.
"Well who is it? Maybe i can help you two get together." Her blush brightens even more.
"It's nopony really. It's you Fiction Besides i am sure he doesn't have feelings for me when there are so many better mares out there." I slam my mug on cider on the table which causes Trixie to jump a little.
"Trixie don't sell yourself short. You are an amazing mare. You may have made some mistakes in the past but you aren't like that anymore i can tell when i look into your eyes i see nothing but good." Trixie smiles and blushes.
"D-Do you really mean that?" I nod as i rub her back gently.
"Of course i do Trixie! Plus you are a beautiful mare especially how your eyes sparkle!" I immediately went wide eyed. Oh horse apples did i just say that out loud?! Trixie blush immediately intensifies to the brightest color.
"Y-You think i am beautiful? And you think my eyes sparkle?" I blush lightly as i nod my head.
"Yes i do and i know you will find the right stallion someday Trixie." Her smile slightly fades but does her best to keep it up.
"Your right i just need to keep hoping that he likes me." I smile and nod.
"That's the spirit Trixie! Now i am going to get started on my book if you still want to keep me company." Trixie smiles and nod.
"Trixie would love to."
It was late at night when i got halfway done with the book but decided to stop for the day as i was getting tired
"I think Fluttershy and Discord are going to love this book." I get up and stretch as i look outside. "Sweet Cerlestia! is it that time already? I better get to bed to finish my book tomorr-" But i was interrupted when i saw Trixie sleeping on the couch and i shook my head and chuckled. "She didn't have to stay here this late. Oh well nothing i can do about it now. The castle is too far of a walk for me to carry her and i don't want to wake her up. It seems she will have to stay here tonight but i can at least move her to my bed." I gently lifted her on my back as i carried her to my bed and tucked her in and she snuggled comfortable in the blankets as i smiled. After i tucked her in i got some extra pillows and blankets and i went to lay down on the couch and let myself drift off into dreamland.
