Chapter 1
Twilight was alone in the castle, surrounded by the jagged black crystal that King Sombra set up for anypony who tried to take the Crystal Heart. Spike had already ran out with the Crystal Heart. She tried to teleport her way out but it was no use, she was instantly pulled back into the crystal's cage. But she continued to try and escape. Twilight fired magical blast but the crystal's reflected back to her. Twilight then tried to use dark magic against the crystal to effect them in some way. The same thing happened, the blast was reflected back at her and her horn had small, black crystal's on it.
Twilight turned her head towards the window, she could feel it coming and it sent a chill a down her spine. She felt the one thing that was practically impossible to escape. Darkness. The darkness that swallowed King Sombra long ago.
She no longer felt it coming, she saw it coming. In fact it was already there, whirling around her like a ragging hurricane, blinding her from seeing anything and even blocking out ever sound other than the rushing wind.
Twilight froze, as if seeing death itself, she lad her eyes on the fearful Kind Sombra wearing a grin on his face
"Well, well, so this is the unicorn that who almost stole my precious crystal heart from me," he said circling the unicorn with drips of sweat falling down her face, "this weak and shameful display?" He then laughed manically.
"I'm n-not that w-weak, I've defeated N-Nightmare Moon" Twilight stuttered
"But not by yourself, you needed the help of your precious friends. Their not here now, so what are you going to do now?" Sombra said getting closer to Twilight with every word.
Twilight was frozen with fear.
"That's okay you don't have to answer that question."
"Th-that question, there's more?" Twilight studdered.
"Only one, your very observant my little Twilight. I want you to join me, will you?"
"How do you know my name?"
"Not important right now. Answer my question. Will you join me?" Sombra held our his hoof to her as she was shaking.
Twilight sat in silence for a minute. 'I have to figure a way out of this,' she thought, 'there has to be a way out of this. Think Twilight think'
"Well?" he said getting impatient
"No!" she yelled
